The Great Duel of The Magi (Ic/Semi-closed)
It was a bright clear day.
It had been in planning for quite awhile now. A Great Tournament of persons skilled in magic and other Supernatural powers.
The great Colloseum was prepared. At the same time as The Broadcast message of the Tournament went out, advance tickets went on sale to attend. Broadcast networks were notified To send in their Cameras and commentators
The notification of the Tournament was broadcast in every manner possible, even magical ones and ways previously unthought or unheard of.
"Come one come all, The Restored Realms of Ri-an is hosting a Grand Tournament of magic. Come test yourself against the strongest of the strongest! Prizes for the top three contestants.
Tickets now on sale."
It was brief but to the point. Following it was directions to Ri-an.
OOC: This is closed for new participants. The six who signed up and registered are the only ones who can particpate.
You may however, RP someone from your nation either watching in the stands, as a color commentator, or as a reporter/broadcast company.
The six who signed up may do so as well, but in addition also RP their contestants.
Of Course they should also RP their arrival

"How interesting - another magic tournament." muttered Karathis, pondering the invitation which had just materialised in his hands.
"Bah, the last one was an absolute farce." replied Vaikwur, the ridiculous wannabe tournament still fresh in his mind.
"I think I'll enter. We can always blow it up if it turns out to be another charlatan's show."
"Ha ha. No." said Ulrich, sitting on the bed and resting his arms on his bastard sword. "What, no boom?" "No boom."
No sooner had the abjurer signed the invitation (and the evoker having discarded it) a gate materialised before them and they stepped through.
---
An Abjurer, a paladin, a ninja and an evoker walk into a bar. The bartender sighed and let his head fall with a thud onto the polished countertop. What was it with adventurers and walking into his bar. At least they had already formed into a party.
"The dark corner's 20 gold an hour. Bookings need to be at least an hour in advance." he said. At least there was an upside to being a taven owner.
"Actually, we're looking for the colosseum." said Ulrich.
"Oh, just go right down the street, third left."
---
The sight was rather odd when they reached the colosseum. Children pointed at the strange makeup of the party.
There was a knight in shining full plate, Ulrich, a kobold wearing a coolie hat and black martial arts robes, I'mdyp, a Gandalf-looking fellow, Karathis, and a second kobold with a pair of spectacles perched in front of his nose garbed in an emerald-green silken robe, Vaikwur.

An Aquamarinian, Relitive of The Common Octopus, stepped in front of them. This one was a sickly poisonus green.
"Are you here for Tournament?" it asked, Its voice positivly dripping with poison.

A small Coredian shuttle descended from the skies, having taken a detour through the Constantine station to Ri-an to get to this place. Upon landing, it disgorged three young kids and a blond-haired, blue eyed man wearing orange and black. Uzumaki Naruto and his Team Seven has arrived!
Normally, Team Seven all participate in a mission together. But this time, only one person out of the team would be participating. The boy with the rat tailed blue hair, red/white jacket and blue jeans with more pockets than Pocket Monsters. Travis Masaki, the 13 year old heir apparent of the Coredian Throne!
Naruto thought it'd be neat to see what his apprentice learned so far. Kagome thought he still looked stupid with the rattail. Nick scowled at his rival, wishing Naruto picked him instead of Travis. He did reluctantly lend his special Vector Industries-made rifle to Travis, though. What he has to say on that: "Can't have you lose and drag the rest of the team down, now! Just don't break the rifle, since it's not yet in mass production!"
And Travis himself? "Oh boy! Oh boy! Oh boy! I'm so gonna kick ass!"
"Confident?" Naruto grinned.
"You betcha!" Travis beamed. Inside, though, he wondered what manner of opponents would he face and whether he had the skill to beat them all.
Still..."Look out peoples, Travis Masaki is in the house!"

A pink Female Aquamarinian popped up. It wrapped its Tenticles around them all, probing regions normally reserved for lovers. It sure was friendly.
"So, are you big STRONG Men here for the Tournament? Oh, I just love brave fighters. It makes my Tenticles go all a Quiver." She asked, At the word Quiver, her Tenticles actually Quivered.

Maybe too friendly. Between being squeezed by an overly friendly land-octopus and being touched in places where one shouldn't touch, Team Seven was quite frankly unnerved. So they did the only thing they could do.
POOF!
A cloud of smoke arose and the Aquamarinian found herself hugging four logs instead of four members of Coreworlds' Ninja Division of the Jedi Order.
"Hehe..." Travis chuckled nervously as he and his friends stood on a nearby roof. "I'm here for the tournament! Where do I sign up?"
Naruto simply scowled, wishing he could Rasengan the Lady of Tentacles.

The person emerged from behind a large crowd, as if having fed from their very entities. His appearance was timed for the past thousand years, or perhaps just 2 seconds ago - it was uncertain. For certain, he was not a he, simply an "it". In fact, it was hard to discern just exactly what he was. Existence was only a question around him/her/it/whatever. Nonetheless, the affairs of existence did not concern him - he was simply as he was, and there was nothing else that needed it.
He strolled in the city, saying nothing and doing nothing else other than to stroll forward. A certain vibe struck to him and he walked towards a gathering storm at that Colosseum. A line formed seemingly, but its beginning and end were unapparent. Nonetheless, he decided to realize himself, and took the presence of antiquated gentleman from the 1st Century of the Common Era of the inhabitants of Rome. His raiments were clearly adorned with violet and red; if only he had a crown of gold laurels to fit it all [actually, he did have that crown, so it was fitting...]. Who or what he was now behind, he stepped up the counter, anticipating a question:
"I am Zaytun."

Ulrich and I'mdyp had already drawn their blades, the ninja also with a shuriken mid throw, Vaikwur with a half formed fireball in his hand and Karathis drawing his staff, the tip glowing with a half-charged spell.
Two uncomfortable seconds passed as they realised that the smelly octopoid thing was not out to kill them, and they re-sheathed their weapons and dismissed their magics.

My powers come from the Force and chakra, which includes ESP, psychokinesis, command of the elements, summoning and teleportation, among other things. I don't have a last will and testament. A gold-coloured wyvern (http://www.dragonologist.com/images/wyvern_gold.gif) stepped out of a portal in a quiet neighbourhood of the city. It was smallish for a dragon-like species, yet it still stood taller than the average man as it looked around to get its bearings. Then, it walked carefully, keeping itself balanced with its long tail, around, looking for the arena.
A casual observer would probably not see anything unusual, but those equipped with the proper senses woul quickly notice this creature wasn't standard fare. Appearing sexless to the eye, it smelled of two sexes, both male and female, and its behavour indicated a clever, though not overly intelligent mind.
As is made its way towards the arena, it sniffed, as much as looked around, perhaps to find its way, perhaps to take in the city, or perhaps both...
Mayth was in the process of flirting outrageously with a bevy of of buxomed blue-eyed blonds while alternately devouring a good portion of a roast oxan and hogshead of mead. In effect it was the absolute image of a decadent barbarian party when one of the messages that travelled throught the universe from any number of species popped up. Most of the time they were screened out but, as in this case, they got through every so often.
About to pop over to play, he found himself engaged in a long lecture on not abusing those weaker and responsibility that ended before it had begun, and with that, he simply appeared in the middle of the street. Of a masculine appearence, that was about all that remained constant and even then effemenancy appeared frequently as his clothes, hair, skin, eyes and even height seemed trying to pick out a pattern by cycling through the patterns of the local populace. On any normal street he'd be the center of attention, but he just looked around. Even for him crossing much of the universe in zero effective time caused difficulties to get spot on accuracy.
With any luck there'd be a sign or maybe a guide around and he just kept looking for one.

"That I am. Do you like being black?" Mayth asked as for a moment he became completely black, clothes and all before returning to trying to select a group of colours.
"Welcome Zaytun. Are you here for the tournament?"
Zaytun looked over at the man answering him, unaware that the man was talking to him - or so it seemed. He excused himself from speaking to the lovely lady off the street to address the Aquamarian (?); the sheer randomness of it all confounded even the man at the counter as Zaytun answered affirmatively.
"You know... you don't want to register me, because I can register myself. I mean, there's plenty of other things to do, and filling out a registration slip for me isn't one of them. Look, there's someone else who needs help! Why don't you help them, while I take care of this? Hey, they'll never notice it and you'll be a little happier than what you were just two seconds ago. See?"

Place of Origin: From roaming the worlds
Power: Nothing
Will and Testament: I leave it all to...
Blood Type: Cold

Brushing aside the sentiments of the past episode, Zaytun found himself in the contestants area, idly waiting for something to wait. In retrospect, he'd rather be speaking to that one lady in the street, but she was out there and he was in here, and so to speak, he wasn't going to waste so much time to bring her inside or him outside, or them both somewhere in the middle. Startled, Gelgisith pulled hir head back, and prepared for a defensive stance, but changed hir mind before xe finished the move. Xe closed hir mouth again, tilted hir head and asked, "'Were'? Am i too late? Is the tournament already over?" Xe looked disappointed, "I was hoping to be able to watch, and maybe learn some moves. I'm a little lacking in battle spells, you see..."

Gelgisith blinked, seeing all the folk kneeling or bowing in hir direction. It took hir a moment to realize the Lady next to hir, not hir humble self, was the object of their adoration.
"Peace my Children." She said.

Gelgisith bowed, somewhat clumsily.
"My Lady, i could not have wished for a better seat. I thank thee for thy generosity".
Xe politely asked an Attendant to remove the chair, and curled up in its place next to the Throne, lifting hir head so xe would be able to see the arena floor.
"Me, I'm, well that gets complicated. You see I have too many names, more than I can remember. Well that's not entirely the truth either. To list every name I've been called would likely result in the end of the tournament and you bored to tears. Which reminds me, what are tears? Anywho most recently I've been called Sōten Ni Zase, Mayth and The Green Beast of Sexy, in no particular order. For the purpose of the tournament I've decided to use Mayth." Mayth said without pausing for a breath, "So who are your friends, is that your dad, and why are you here. I'm here because I was bored competing in relatively tedious competitions with my siblings, well not siblings but the word works as well as any as we have the same point of origin."
As he did he very briefly took on the colourings and clothes of Travis, Naruto, Nick, and Kagome thought did not match her gender giving Travis a look at what his female teammate might have looked as a guy.

That last name...let's not let the Green Beasts of Konoha near him! Travis shuddered inwardly, recalling Rock Lee and Maito Guy. He blinked when the guy transformed into his teammates and sensei. "Well, the guy in orange and black is my Sensei Naruto and the other two are my teammates, Nick and Kagome. We go by Team Seven, tasked with doing whatever missions the High Council have for us."

Lady Ri-an nodded.
"High Council, what's that?" He asked, "So are you here on a mission or were you also bored of doing something. Do you have a, what's the word again, ah yes, an infatuation with Kagome, and what happened to Teams One to Six?"
Blinking as he was right with his feet back on the ground, he turned puce with speckling of aquamarine and daffodil. "So do you want to ask me anything. Most creatures get annoyed with nothing but answering questions it seems. Are you one of them?"

My nation sets high standards for us kids, so you can see where I'm coming from. As for Teams One through Six, they're fine. My team's the seventh team of my Academy's graduating class, so that's why it's called Team Seven. What about you? Where do you come from?"

A slight pop occurred and a small toad appeared before them. "What's up? Naruto says the kid's just embarrassed. And my, you look redder than a family full of redheads!"

"Yes.
White, like myself Fall under the Rule of Edward the Fair. We are an even headed bunch not too swayed by any one emotion or physicle action. We are usually used for Diplomatic functions.
Pink fall under the rule of the Nymphomaniac, I mean, uh, Queen Lucy the Lustfull. Their known for being very, very friendly.
The Green are poisonus in every way possible. They fall under the rule of John the Poisonus. Try not to touch one.
The Black have Anti-psy powers which drive them to be in a continuous semi-state of Rebellion against the state, due to Crimos the Rebellious.
The most powerf, frighting and dangerous of us all are the red ones, who fall under the rule of Mark the Rulelike. we're not saying he's sane. We're not saying he's Xenophobic. We're certainly not pretending that he has anything resembling a paitience. But if you value life and limb, you will stay away from him, and everything will be ok."
Khelben sevenspell and his comrads were lead to the arena. Khelben was taken to the Competitors paddock, and the others were given front row seats in the arena.

*After getting him down there.*
"I don't like being ignored. Round 10 yo ass is gonna pay, if you make it that far." He slammed the door shut before the brothers could respond.
OOC: I'm gonna get things underway now.
A massive Gong was heard. It got the attention of the audience.
"Ladies and Gentlemen good evening." said Xos. He stood in the center of the Arena. It was obvious just by looking at him that of all Ri-an Magi, he was the strongest. He had Magic tattoos covering his body from head to toe. Not that he put him there, actually, they appeared there because he was so strong, and knew so much about magic, that they were actually the first obvious signs of his evolution into a being of Pure Mana.
"We have invited people from all over Creation to step forward and and participate in a Tournament. They will face great challenges indeed. But they will not win by who can beat the snot out of the other first, indeed they will progress through ten progressivly harder rounds. The other Magi-masters and I will be watching them and rating them by performance. Whomever has the most points at the end of ten Rounds, wins the Grand Prize, A single solitary wish of their choice. Second and third place prizes include more money than even the best bag of holding can handle.
But you did not come to listen to me talk all night long, so let the Judges appear." Xos said.
as he finishes speaking, he appears next to Lady Ri-an.
Kado appears next to Naruto with a Flair of wind and Electricity.
She too is beginning to have those same magic tattoos. Electricity randomly runs accross her body, but it doesn't seem to effect her. Touching her would then be a very bad idea.
Further down the way, Ray appears with a great Gout of Flame.
Further on, Quis appears with a great wave of water.
Further on, Stella appears from an extra dimensional pocket.
Further on Chron appears holding that same damned teapot he always does, with that same damned cup of tea he's always drinking, but no one can be sure of when he arrived, just that he's there, and seemed to have always been there.
Further on, a Gargoyle Cracks and splits, revealing Ros, who stands up and steps back.
A chill feeling of Death fills the air as Khalan appears. Spirits surround her, but thier quickly banished. She waves her hand, and everyone feels a feeling of Rejuvenation.
Finally, Kajeenith's Void appears, but instead of the Mad God, Agrinja steps out, and banishes the Void.
Finally, The Shadows lengthen and Deepen. Then they lift off the ground, and become the Seven Members of the Ministry of Shadow. In the Light of Day, one can finally see the truth about them, and that is as they have always said. They were born of the night itself, and so their skin was as black as Charcoal. There was no visual diffrence between their skin and their Clothes, if they were wearing any. No one could be certain either way, they had no Gender. The only thing on them not as Black as night, was their eye Pupils, little white Slits as white as the driven Snow.
"Don't think their their the only Judge. We can't have them been soft on these, weaklings." The Ministry said. The Magi-masters and the Ministry of Shadow Glared at each other.
Up on the Moniters.
"Round 1. Fight!"
It showed the Round one Match ups.

Above the planet, a wormhole opened briefly, just long enough to allow a single Stiletto shuttle to emerge before closing. The small transport approached the planet and waited, getting clearance (if there was an answer to the request) before continuing to the surface.
The shuttle approached the area where the CW shuttle landed earlier and settled down, hovering a few hairs above the ground without actually touching it. The side of the ship seemed to melt and run down the shuttle before reforming into individually floating steps. Stepping from the newly exposed door, an individual descended the stairs and looked around. He located someone who looked like they was in charge and approached them.
"Greetings, my name is MilAmber. I have traveled here from the Balrogga Empire because I heard of these competitions. I wish to ask if I may join the audience and watch the competitors."

It was time for Round Three.
The Audience was cheering wildly.
The Contestants were called out to the Arena, all of them.
"Ladies and Gentlemen, after an intermission, it is time for Round three to commence." Xos said. He brought his hands together, and the audience, Lady Ri-an, the Cordeians, everyone disappeared, leaving the Contestants in the now empty Arena.
"Contestants, in this round, it is a race, between there, and here, in the city of Narger, over 600 miles away. There are exactly seven checkpoints. One, every hundred miles, and the final being here, in the other Arena.
you must all work together to open the gates. To ensure Cheating does not happen, you must follow The last remaining paved road in all of Ri-an. You may not stray off the road. the sides of the road are enchanted with more spells than I really care to mention in the next few lifetimes. Needless to ay, if you stray off road, you will not ever be seen anywhere, ever again, regardless of how powerful you are.
To ensure you don't just leisurely stroll along at your own pace. The Warhaven Sliver hive is going to be hunting you down. If they catch you they may eat you. They have a very wide range of abilities, magic, and psionic and just good old fashioned purely physicle abilities.. they don't need to overpower you one on one, they can just swarm over you and absorb you by shear numbers alone, all 2.42 Billion of them.
I suggust you get moving, and never look back. Here they come." Xos said. The Moniters winked out, and the Arena crumbled around them.
Death itself came for them, and it came in the form of a great multitude of slivers, stretching from Horizon to horizon, some flying, some moving along with alrming speeds, some burrowing underneath the ground itself.
Leading the way were the Crystaline SLivers, which blocked Psionic and magic attacks.
The Slivers were already close, less than 50 Ft away.
"Don't run away, we just want to hit you!" One of them called as they drew closer.
To the rear, they could see the largest one of them all, The Queen Sliver was on their Trail, and sooner or later, she would overtake them all. Her great wings boomed out, and she took to the air, joining the winged Slivers.
Mayth blinked at the call before getting up with a bit of a frown. He'd just been getting properly gorged and relaxed. Walking into the arena he looked around as the other contestants arrived.
Once they'd arrived and jelly-man had finished explaining the rules, he sighed. There went his chance to properly indulge in barbarian-style hedonism. At least it would be fun, but he did wonder how much of the threat of stay on the road or else was legit. He didn't think they'd gotten cooperation, but then he'd been ordered to behave so it was quite possible he'd suffer the penalty even if not from thier powers.
When the arena crumbled it caused the ground to shake enought for him to fall on his posterior. Looking at the swarm of sliver caused him to leap ten feet in the air and come down running in a manner popularized by a primarily ground based avian and its flight from a coyote including the most definately traditional, "Meep-Meep."

"Sliver? That's weird--aaaaah!!" Travis suddenly panicked when he saw a HUGE number of giant flying bug-like creatures after him. In fact, his eyes were white.
Then, his feet turning into something akin to Mayth, only shaped like little balls moving back and forth and he skedaddled outta there!
As he did so, he ran through his mind what he could use to aid him in this race...

[sorry to be so late at posting anything, but I'm just in time for Round 3!!!]
Zaytun had been lurking in the dark pastures for some time since his encounter with the Elder Brain. Having coming out for the third round, Zaytun prepared himself for the race, and unlike the other contestants, decided to leisurely walk through. He eyed the Slivers - not worrying too much about them, until he saw the Queen Sliver. It was a first encounter, and the Queen bore a massive reservoir of psionic energy that would even tire him beyond his capabilities, and all of the Sliver likewise exhibited their own psionic abilities. It seems that the Rianese had conceived of every block against his power for this race, so much more so that it would be not worth the challenge to break the power than to let it flow. Doubtless, he wanted to win the race instead of fighting a pack of monsters for 600 miles. He quickly thought a mechanism to continue his leisurely walk without having to suffer the slow speed and compromised with a chronological warp of his speed as he marched down the path to victory.

(OOC: I was about to do a conclusion, but whatever works. Kind of miffed about missing out on Round 2 because Demon 666 didn't post, though.)
Karathis' eyes widened for a second as the slivers bore down, then sprang into action, dropping a Time Stop spell. Calming himself, he quickly cast a few spells.
First, he placed a prismatic wall behind him, which would likely slow down the slivers for a few crucial seconds - at least, long enough for him to get moving. It was, after all, completely immune to all but epic spells and mage's disjunction; even immune to antimagic.
Then, he conjured a smoky, semi-solid steed and quickly added a transmutation to himself and it. Leaping onto the horse with unnatural speed, he cast a third spell just as the time stop ended and the two completely vanished, becoming ethereal.
Willing the horse along its course, he rocketed off on the course, making a speed just shy of 200km/h. He wasn't quite ready to burn a wish, but he would if he needed to.
(OOC: The 200km/h is the result of a number of factors. Phantom Steed as a 14th+ level caster results in a land speed of 240 feet. This is then augmented by a haste spell, which adds an additional 30 feet. 270 feet a round translates into roughly 50km/h. Run speed is 4x that, which works out to roughly 200km/h, actual number is 197km/h)

Vector Skyrider sighed. Races were really beneath him. All the running and sweating that seemingly didn't have any purpose... of course, as soon as the slivers appeared on sceen, he changed his view on races immediately. "Slivers!" he thought. "Now THAT'S an acceptable reason for running a long distance course... Boy, these Ri-ans really know how to motivate people... Too bad this is far too easy for me..." and with that he disappeared, and reappeared 100 metres further away. "Too bad I won't have a chance to blow these suckers to bits... I never really liked slivers..." he said. *looks up at the flying slivers* "...of course, there is always the possibility of entertaining myself with flying target practice..." he concentrated for a moment, then lets out an enourmous wave of force, together with raw electric energy, the whole wave soon heads for the flying creatures, engulfing them, and forcing them out of the sky unto the ground, electricity rippling throughout their bodies. Vector turns and disappears again.
It was too easy. It was simply a question of dimensions. What Vector did, could be described as follows; time can be compared to a river, and humans can be compared to pieces of wood floating along the river, moving through time. What Vector did, was simply turn himself into a stone, creating a bubble of time around himself that allowed him to stay in this particular moment. People simply froze in their movements, everything stood still, while Vector could do whatever he pleased, in this case move across the road riding a wave of force at a leasurly pace of 200 km/h (up to 500 km/h if he wished). Of course, he could not do this forever, and was forced to return to reality after a while. To bystanders it simply looked as if he disappeared from one place, and appeared in another at the same time... he was just warming up.
OOC: Just to demonstrate how serious of a threat this is...
IC:
First, The Reactor slivers avtivated their energy generating abilities, allowing the slivers to access second level abilities.
Then The entire sliver hive stopped dead in its tracks, as their muscles twitched. Sinew formed new muscles, plates hardend and turned to steel. A massive mind even non-psions could feel surged into existence as the Psionic, Synapse, and Mnemonic Slivers formed the Hive mind, and began to form a massive impulse of Psionic energy directed outwards.
Then, the Hive began to move again, much faster than before. due to the influnce of the Muscle Slivers, the hive traveled at approximatly 60 miles per hour.
That's not all. the Ancestor spirits who dwelled on the Astral and Ethereal Planes brought part of the hive onto those same planes to sneak up on the group.
The Shadow Slivers melted into the shadows and jumped ahead of the group.
The Magic Slivers were the first to actually attack though, as they shot Magic Missles at the runners.
The Blade Slivers began shooting phaser Blasts out of their Talons, taking the Reactor Sliver energy and directly shooting it.
The Massive Psionic Impulse that was being formed shot forwards, digging great furrows in the ground, shredding the clouds in the sky, uprooting trees and generally, leaving a wide trail of destruction.
If anyone dared to glance back, they would see Fifteen Reactor Slivers near the Queen. Three died, giving all their energy, and all their life force directly to the Queen. Crypt Slivers ressurected the dead slivers.
She let out a bloodcurdling hiss that was difficult to miss, and began to glow, but otherwise did nothing.
The first checkpoint was in the distance.
OOC: Some slivers I made up, namely the Reactor and magic Slivers. The rest I did not, though I did give them secondary, more intresting abilities.
Try thinking outside the box for this round. This is one of two rounds in which you could actually die and not get ressurected by Khalan.

Karathis watched Vector's exceptionally fast movement, and took out a few scrolls. He looked at one, and frowned slightly. Casting it would also seal off his ability to still time, at least for a kilometre or so, as well as removing the option of becoming ethereal, but if he was going to win the race he needed to do it.
He read the first scroll and threw it away. Time slowed to a halt and stood still. Focussing some of the magic he had infused into his own being, he dispelled the wave of force, the energy unravelling and returning to the weave. A second effort and the time bubble melted away as well.
Only two spells to go.
The next spell was a custom version of the Dimensional Lock spell, developed to combat spellcasters who made extensive use of the Time Stop spell. As he read the scroll, the runes on it began to glow brightly, and he cast his custom spell, enveloping the surrounding kilometre with a reality seal to prevent such ploys from functioning.
The last was a simple one, practised greatly. While time began to move once again, he held his arm forwards and conjured a shimmering wall of opaque colour in front of himself and his rival, vanishing through it instantaneously.
(OOC: Time Stop from a scroll. First two spells are Greater Dispel Magic, cast as a spell-like ability. Third is an epic version of dimensional lock, I call it 'Reality Focus'. Fourth and final one is Prismatic Wall (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/prismaticWall.htm), and stretches across for 120 feet and is 60 feet high, and is completely opaque to anyone not the caster. I'm considering the steed part of Karathis, but if not, he just casts and buffs again on the other side, taking all of six seconds.)
Here was the first checkpoint, basicly, a giant boulder blocking the road, that had Anti-magic in it to repel magic based attampts to move it. It looked lke it could be moved aside by a Lever. But there were none availible. Someone would have to conjure up a Long steel Rod, and something to act as a Fulcrum.
Meanwhile, the remaining 12 Reactor Slivers one by one gave their life and energies to the Queen. She glowed brightly. she didn't even let out a hiss this time, everyone could hear and understand her orders.
"Silly mages. Come children, Banish the Arcane."
The Arcane Banishment, a very hard spell to cast. It was better than an anti-magic field. It completly removed ALL magic and Psionic powers and sealed them against further use. Both caster and target were effected, killing the caster instantly, so the Magic Slivers Teleported right up amid the Competitors.
Then they died on the spot, as they threw everything they had into the Arcane Banishment.
Everyone got a sick feeling in their stomachs, as it began to take effect. They had enough to move the boulder, and possibly one or two other abilities, but not much.

"Ugh. I feel sick." Travis groaned as he approached the checkpoint. He felt his powers weakening. He had enough for three uses of his techniques, but that was it. He decided to reserve the third slot for running.
As he reached the giant boulder, his mind raced as he tried to think about how to get the boulder out of the way of the road fast enough so that the Slivers won't kill them. From his classes, he understood that the boulder needed a lever and a fulcrum to move, but couldn't find anything in the vicinity. Not that he could search as he knew that going away from the road would be very, very bad.
I suppose I'll have to use alchemy or something. He thought, gritting his teeth.

OOC: Illusions, all of it, illusions. Illusions so strong, they become real. The entire Sliver hive is a Lie. A big massive lie. A lie so strong it became truth.
It isn't really a Sliver hive. The Warhaven Sliver hive, is no more. It ceased to be when warfare left Reality.
What is behind you now, is a massive lie, brought on by those born of the darkness.
It is The Ministry of Shadow chasing you.
They are uneffected by light based spells, so a Prismatic wall means, well, nothing.

Seeing no way to get past, Travis turned around and faced down the Slivers, his golden lightsaber ablaze. Then, his lightsaber began to pulse. "Huh? You want me to use that? On the boulder?"
The lightsaber pulsed again. "All right, but it's going to take all of my remaining power...let's hope it works."
Travis raised his lightsaber above his head, pouring as much energy as he possibly could into it. It glowed brightly, like the sun, and then Travis whirled around so that he targeted the boulder and slammed the blade downwards, shouting: "Kaze no Kizu!"
A violent blast of wind and energy lashed out at the boulder and Travis hoped it would work...

Prismatic walls are not illusory.)
"What? How?" he exclaimed as the Slivers poured through his prismatic wall and appeared around him.
The magic of the prismatic walls should have incinerated them where they stood! It was deadly magic personified! How?
At this point, he was struck by a queasy feeling, as if he could no longer cast spells.
"But the D-Lock? How was that breached?" he asked, sitting on the phantom steed in front of the boulder. He was paralysed by doubt.
"And why is the steed still here? It should have been dispelled!"
The realisation slowly dawned on him.
True Seeing he whispered from a scroll, before spurring his phantom steed to fly over the boulder and charging onwards.

And with the combined attacks, the illusion vanished. First it was a crack in the boulder, and it spread upwards, into the sky itself. Everything around them shattered and rolled away, revfealing that they were all in a Civilian Tranport tube, going nearly 300 miles per hour over the Ri-an countryside.
They could feel the enchantments on the tube, protecting them from the inertia, and bending the wind away.
Chasing them down was seven shadows. they went through the Prismatic wall as though it didn't exist.
The tube explained why they couldn't get off the road.
Xos was flying along outside the tube looking worried.
He held up a series signs.
"Round 3 was initiated by the Ministry. It wasn't supposed to be like this. This tube goes in a big loop around Elru. If you die, that's okay, we'll ressurect you if we get you first. For the safety of the unarmed and unarmored citizens, we must keep you in infinite Loop around the city.
Nice Prismatic wall. It won't help you though. Use spells not of a light or darkness nature. If you destroy the tubes, you destroy the tubes. We'll repair them. Try to drive off the Ministry." Xos said via the signage. though, where exactly the signs came from, and where they disappeared to, was unclear.
"Enough." The Ministry said.
Then they cast Zeno's Paradoxes on the contestants. Based on the the philospher's concepts, they did just what the Paradoxes claimed, and made all movement impossible. the Ironic twist was, was that if they could move, they could cast the Chaotic counterspell, Arcimedes Reply, which mathmaticly disproved Zeno. At any rate, you didn't have to go through the prismatic wall. You could always have accepted defeat :p.)
Oh dear. I think the competition had best be abandoned, at least for the moment.
He closed his eyes and attempted to dispel the paradox, but found himself unable to do so. It appeared to be resistant, just like his Prismatic Walls. A disjunction might work, but would also dispel all his valuable magic items and ran the risk of stripping himself of power permanently. Instead, he dispelled the dimensional lock, unravelling the magic.
Calling upon the reserves of the Arcane Order, he rememorised a number of stilled, silent spells.
Damned if I'm going to let them have their way with me!
He silently willed a wall of force into existence behind the last person in the row. Then he sorely wished he could move, though it was clearly impossible.
Beings of Earth, come forth.
Three medium Earth Elementals formed from the platform, one of them picking up the paralysed wizard. The other two leapt to other platforms and picked up two of Karathis's erstwhile rivals.
Little blades, come to my aid.
Two Mage's Swords materialised near him and hovered, ready to defend him.
He waited and combed his mind for the solution to this heretofore unknown spell. It was almost like disarming a bomb - though in this case the consequences were merely the spell snapping back into place. Nonetheless, he was ready for a second spell if they tried it, and when that happened they would find it rebuked upon them.

Ugh. Can't move. That means no jutsus. Crap! Travis thought as he felt like being in a Body-Bind Jinx, only stronger. The weird thing was, the landscape was moving outside giving him the impression that he *was* moving despite the fact that he feels no sensation that determines that he is actually moving. Aaah! I'm getting a headache just thinking about this!
He slammed the headache down and thought about it. The more he thought, the more he started to understand that he was in a paradox. Weird. Never been in a paradox before. I wonder how I'm going to get out of this.
As he understands, the paradox is that movement is an illusion, despite what all senses do tell him. He brought to mind trying to catch an air bus. In order to get to the bus, he would have to get to half the distance of the bus, then a quarter, then an eighth and so on until he could never get to the bus, and therefore is stationary with all respects.
But... Travis begins to smile mentally. The illusion is shattered as soon as I take one step to catch that bus. Therefore, the illusion is a logical fallacy.
He could sense the magic of the paradox weakening. Great! Almost there...
A blaster bolt fires at the chest of a pirate. If the paradox was correct, then for one instant the blaster bolt should be stationary. However, being stationary is relative and this you cannot tell if something is at rest by looking at one instance. Rather, you have to take several instances and compare them with each other. If the blaster bolt's position is different at each instance, then it moves and therefore the pirate dies.
So in conclusion, the idea that movement is an illusion does not hold a candle to what is true in reality. Therefore...I CAN MOVE! Travis yelled at the top of his mental lungs, shoving his willpower into and shattering the illusion.

Wolf had work out what was goiing on was at check point two still in the shadows watching the others
he see the one called Vector show up
"i think i have some fun by cuting the force off to Vector" he said to himself as he cuts to force off from Vector with wave of the hand
Mayth blinked when he bounced off the boulder. In trying to keep ahead of the slivers he hadn't been paying as much attention to where he was going as might have been wise. Impacting with a splat it took a short while to reconstitue himself and in that time much had happened including finding himself locked in a paradox.
With a mental growl he went to rip the creator of the paradox, both in the present instant and the one who'd come up with it, a new one only to find himself pulled up short. If there was one thing that got under his skin, assuming he had skin at the time, was a paradox. People had enought logic problems without being annoying and coming up with more.
Examining the problem logically he decided to work it out logically.
To cross distance he had to cross half the distance and to cross that distance he had to cross the half again ad nauseum. That meant that he'd be crossing infintesimal distances but at the same time he'd be travelling at a constant speed which meant he'd be moving at infinite speed and with infinite speed any distance was immaterial. The next point of contention was an item was at any given instant of time not moving. Unfortunately for this paradox even he at full power could not affirm a particle's location and velocity and thus if he knew its precise location then that meant it could not be at zero velocity.
As he disabused the paradox of its own validity it promptly dismissed itself for him.
"Reminder to self, tear Zeno of Elea a new hole." He growled, "And find whoever was responsible for this projection of paradox and do the same to him or her."
OOC: Alright, I've got the general idea. Someone's going to face them combined into Shadowlord in round ten. So, in order to have them fresh for that challenge...

The Ministry didn't really intend to catch up and do anything. It was merely a delaying tactic, that worked.
The competitors, regardless of where they were, saw night come to Ri-an, quickly, and unnaturally. The Dark Moon of Remora rose high in the sky and lit up.
The Ministry let out an Evil laugh, and then all seven merged into one massive Cloud of darkness that even the strongest of lights could not penitrate. What was truely inside that cloud was a mystery, though everyone got the impression that what was IN that cloud was something to be truely terrified of.
It shot a Fireball comprised of pure Magma from the depths of Ri-an. The Tube melted around it as it passed.
[ooc: I am sooooooo sorry to have not been posting as often as I should - my NS participation is only second to my RL participation, and I have a lot of RL stuff to do...]
Zaytun looked around him, still walking as the other contestants were waging their own battles with the sliver or whatever it was that troubled them. They had confronted the futile puzzle of former days - they torment themselves with the divine, and call it "reason", what fools they are. It was a pathology to say the least:
"To travel to a place where the destination is traveling at half the speed, one will never arrive at the destination - such that the destination arrives at its half point while you have reached its former position."
But of course, the truth relied on the mortal intelligence - one who could not conceive the dichotomy of spacetime and altogether its duality. The truth of the paradox was non-existent, because mortal knowledge was neither true nor real. They were all illusions, and Zaytun could see through the madness - the true madness.
The night had dawned, and his elemental being was at its strongest when the clouds parted way to the fiery fluid seeped from the celestial entities - they covered the tube, melting its way through. All of it was material - and his own being was neither material nor real; unlike the slivers, this would not hurt him for a thousand years. But even slivers had their weakness - and the truth dawned him as the Ministry gave way their magic intervention. It upset him - perhaps infuriated him.
"They seek to toy with spirits and the thoughts that they will never comprehend? But obviously they know not whom they try, so it is worth nothing to try them. Besides, if they keep this up, they will likely face me in this tournament - and they will confront their demons for the first time."
He passed through the magma - undecided if he should intervene and stop the flow. But given all that had been his trouble, he decided that the magma flow could destroy the wall, through he only needed to pass so thinly, and stopping it thus would not offer the others an opportunity to exploit other advantages. The second block had no apparent psionic disruptions, but he did feel something as he progressed to the next stage.

Karathis's three friends found that all magic items were located in a huge mall in central Lower Elru.
After taking an Elevator Ride that felt more like a free fall than an actual ride, they were in the Mall.
Everything was categorised in many diffrent methods.
First, everything was divided by Element, then by known schools of magic. For instance, Ice Magic items and componets were located half-way between The Fire sections and the Water Sections.
Then, in each shop everything was further divided by Wet, Dry, and Gas.
Then in each section, each Item, and or componet was kept in either a Cabnet, a drawer, or a Shelf. There were jars of things best left unmentioned, bags of bones, Cloaks, wands for those that used them, anything and everything associated with magic was here. The magi-masters scurried about here and there, getting this, and getting that. The shopkeepers bowed as they past. Random mages stopped them to ask a Question, or to get a suggustion. Most of all, it was noticed, that the Magi-masters just took whatever they wanted and left without paying, unlike everyone else. This was because they owned every single item in the mall without exception, and the shopkeepers knew this.
Music played in the mall, quietly over randomly placed speakers. Currently, "Remind Me" by Royksopp, was playing.
Moving sidewalks went from one end of the mall to the other. Escalators moved over the diffrent floors. Restrooms were randomly placed, and marked Men, Women, and Other.
A Cafeteria nearby produced the most wonderful scents.
People and mages randomly walked the mall. It wasn't crowded, but it was filled with people.

Again landing in a most uncerimonious fashion, Mayth stood and brushed off the dust from the arena. Stretching as he stood he looked about before deciding to pop off to the nearest source of entertainment, or any kind. He had no idea where he'd arrive as it could be anything from an office party to a chippendale-esq to a child's party.
He liked randomness unlike some of his kindred. Well, most of them. They all prefered just watching, challenging each other and making sure things ran properly so they didn't have to get a talking to or make reports.

The nearest source of entertainment, was also the most popular. Disco was alive and well on Ri-an, and it lived in Deuce's dance hall, Ri-an's largest Discotheque. they had all sorts of dancing, fun, and entertainment there.

Vaikwur addressed I'mdyp and Ulrich as they reached the mall.
"Well, I'm going to go off and grab the scrolls - we'll meet back here in an hour or so."
The adventurers split up and went their seperate ways.
After a couple of false starts (Stupid elemental groupings...) Vaikwur found a shop selling high valence scrolls.
"I'll take eighteen scrolls of Refuge, please."
---
Ulrich had found his way to shop selling low valence clerical scrolls, and took the opportunity to stock up.
---
I'mdyp, however, was following a Magi-Master quite stealthily. She leapt across walls, staying ethereal for as long as possible and when impossible, hiding in plain sight.
What are these Rirroms they speak of...?
Arriving on his feet for once, he looked about and let out a mild curse. "Two cases of disco in one day. That can't be healthy." He commented, "That or someone is out to turning me into Travolta."
He then began looking around as his clothes began the process of getting into character.

Ulrich was able to buy as many as he had money for.

I'mdyp found the Magi-master had stopped and was addressing I'mdyp directly.
"I'm going to The Lady's heart now honey. You can't follow me there, your not Ri-anese. You'll find yourself somewhere remarkable unpleasant. Though, The Crystal Prison is never actually pleasant." Then Khalan disappeared. In fact, all the Magi-masters were gone.
There were other mages about, whispering about what was to come tomorrow.

I'mdyp was not fazed by this warning, and merely warded herself against detection with the magical items she had.
No amount of warding will stop the determined. You have yet to learn that.
As soon as Khalan was out of detection range, I'mdyp forged ahead, her exceptionally keen senses allowing her to detect and disable the magical wards in the area.
She was very good at her job.
Wizards often believe that their magical countermeasures are infalliable. This is far from the truth. While your garden variety rogue could not even hope to thwart such measures, and the statement, at least under normal circumstances, was to some extent true.
But for a true professional, these defences were nothing more than nuisances and served only to slow them down. Many a mage forgets this and as a result they are no longer with us. If there was any way to get through, I'mdyp could find it.
Even if there was no flaw, I'mdyp could make one.
No amount of sorcery or ingenuity could stop her once she set her mind to it.
(OOC: It's true. As a 30th level skill-based character, she can only fail to disarm even a magical trap on a 1, and that's assuming epic level for all of them. And no buffs. If there are, I'mdyp becomes pretty much infalliable.)

It wasn't Khalan that would do the detection. I'mdyp was well and fairly warned. It was the world itself that caught I'mdyp.
"You are not Ri-anese." Lady Ri-an said as she formed a Cavern around her.
"You are Guilty of Trespassing." was the last thing I'mdyp heard as the cavern around her turned to Crystal. Magic was impossible to use in the prison, though the Prison itself was magical.
an enchantment was laid upon I'mdyp that would cause her own thoughts to torment her. As she could not use magic, she could not counter it.
Meanwhile, her two friends were informed of her Trespass against the Worldspirit of Ri-an.
Karathis was also informed Via a note.
It was either 30 years imprisonment in The Crystal Prison by which point I'mdyp would have driven herself insane, a Rather Hefty fine of 100,000 U.S.D., or immediate Death. the decision was left to Karathis.
OOC: I do not use the D&D system. Lady Ri-an is a worldspirit, and feels and knows everything that happens on her world body, just as you would know of someone doing something to your body. It is the same concept as Gaia, spirit of the Earth, only its Ri-an, spirit of Ri-an. Think of her as having Divine Rank 20, should you ever have browesed the book of dieties and Demigods, version 3.5, since you are using the D&D system.
That being said, It is the second highest offence to attempt tresspass into The Lady's Heart, being that it is the only thing holding my entire nation together. It is nearly impossible to sneak in since the world itself guards against trespassers. The Crystal itself is Diamond, and I have yet to see the mage that could break it on their own strength without magic.
If she had simply asked to go along, I would have let her in no problem. You didn't have to try and sneak.
In the decandent environs, Mayth enjoyed himself. He had spent a while amongst 'Barbarian culture types' and they were generally noisy, boistrious, lewd, agressive and most importantly fun. Fun was important as it was rare, at least he found it so.

She pulled out a long scroll and whirled it about herself, the paper glowing bright blue. And then she was gone. However, even to the deific senses of Lady Ri-an, she appeared to be in the crystal prison.
Meanwhile, she had used the momentary protection of the epic scroll to clear the cavern and had clutched in her palm a shimmering disc on a chain, which she donned.
She focussed her ki.
Then she exploded. Arcane and Divine energy went everywhere as her possessions were annihilated on the material plane.
Retroactive Continuum!
She rematerialised as Khalan was telling her not to follow.
Just as her doomed past self was walking into the depths, it too exploded and was splattered everywhere. I'mdyp reappeared.

this isn't stopping so easily.
IC: Chron, the Temporal Magi-master stopped her rught as she rematerialised.
"If your so curious, see what most cannot, and be curious no more." He said.
He took her, sinking through the rising heat, into the core of Ri-an. The Temperatures reached great heights, and yet she was unharmed.
she materialised into a cave unlike any other. No matter which way she looked, she could see the surface area, and all things happening on it and even interact with them..
"This is the heart of all Ri-an. It is our most vulnerable point. It is protected in such a way, not even Gods can get in here against our wishes. It is hidden from all things. Every action you take in here, will either harm or help Ri-an, there is no in between. Every word we speak stirs the breezes and blows around the world, every step we take shifts continents and moves oceans. Every spell we cast is multiplied over one billion times and felt around the world, so imagine if you will, how much power it takes, to power the rorriM six diffrent times in a single day. It will take much to focus Zohar into a single area, yet still have enough Ambient Energy everywhere else on the world to maintain the usual enchantments. You may ask three Questions, and three Questions only. But beware you do not destroy the world of Ri-an in your Curiosity." Chron said.

The others nodded their assent indicating that this was true, and had nothing further to add.

After a brief chuckle, everyone agreed.

More Agreement.
"I'm busy body continually minding everyone elses business, and prying into their secrets, using my space magic to view them from far away." Stella said.

I'm usually in other time periods watching exicting events take place, like the complete rise and fall of Western Civilization, So usually I'm full of stories of the past" Chron said.
More Agreement.
"I don't usually waste my time with these yahoos. Friends we may be, but I've got lives to save and people to heal. I'm a healer not some guest on a talk show. Is there really a point to all this Jibber Jabber or can we get on with gathering the neccessary energy to use the rorriM six times tomorrow?" Khalan impatiently snapped. Everyone backed away. Of all the Magi-masters, she was the most intimidating.
"yep, that's Khalan alright. we've been married for over 1,500 years over 15 diffrent lives and incarnations, and she has yet to stop being all business. Not even having our son mellowed her out. When she's older, she begins calling everyone sweetie, or dearie, or honey, or some other affectionate motherly nickname, which is how she earned the nickname of Mother Khalan. Karathis of the Burning Orb (henceforth referred to as Sihtarak, for ease of reference) stepped out of the mirror, a burning sphere rotating around his head like an ioun stone, and a staff of the magi clutched in his right hand.
"Your line ends here, villian." said Sihtarak, coldly. He flung a fireball at his abjurer counterpart.
"What, doing away with tradition?" replied Karathis, unravelling the fireball and turning it back upon his counterpart.
"An old trick. I know your ways."
Sihtarak raised his Staff of the Magi and absorbed the turned spell.
"Playing with staves, I see."
At this, Sihtarak was enraged. Lowering his defences, he unleased a barrage of lightning bolts at Karathis, who unleashed a similarly vicious barrage of dispel magics from his own Staff of the Magi, unravelling the bolts with great effort.
Damnation. I can't hold him back forever, and he'll be able to strike more viciously than I can.
The fool is starting to weaken. Victory is at hand.
Mayth found himself looking into a female version of himself that seemed as inconsistantly dressed as he was as like his own style of dress was shifting in both form and colour so to did his mirror counterpart.
"Hello there, what's up with you, same rules?" He asked at the same time as she asked the identical question.
Blinking the both sat down in unison before an intense squeal sounded. What had happened was something only perhaps those who were temporally in-tune to the fluctuations of time. A ten minute conversation had passed in the space of a second with all the noise compressed into that one second.
Both standing they walked over to the other and formed thier left hands into fists. Raising them up, the both called out "Reaux! Sham! Beaux!" as they pumped thier hand on each word. On the third word they each revealed a open hand.
They were playing a game of rock paper scissors. They were in actuality playing three different games with victory going to best two of three. The reason for this rather than a fight was should they compete at the level of thier opponent they'd find that one, the tournament would be over and two they'd be getting a visit from the one entity that they had to listen to and had expressly forbidden serious effort.
With a faint almost shrug, they started again.

Counter-Mayth won the game of rock paper scissors on the third hand as per the rules of between the two meant that Mayth got to choose the second competition.
As she was a mirror version of Mayth, her views on fun were different and what might be considered tedious. Of course when presented with proper fun as demonstrated by Mayth, she'd respond in an appropriately humourous manner.
Separating a goodly distance, Mayth turned to face his counter-part as a large grin split his face in a most comedic manner. Snapping his finger, the arean turned into a jello-like substance that began to wiggle and jiggle underfoot. As Counter-Mayth stumbled about in a manner most drunken, Mayth pulled out a massively oversized seltzer bottle and proceeded to spray his opponent, and also a good portion of the arena and a bit of the audience.
Of course that that landed on the audience disappeared in seconds while a bottle of thier favorite carbonated beverage appeared at hand.
A dripping wet Counter-Mayth stood and growled as she became slightly evil in appearence. With a spear in hand, held in what was certainly inexperianced hands, she charged at Mayth only to get pied. Boston Cream to be exact.
Sputtering and reeling she fell into a vat of goo and by the time she'd made her way out had the appearence of a tye-dyed shirt, only everywhere.
Cricking her next, she bowed and then took what could be only viewed as a martial stance. It seemed for the third round, it would be a proper fight thought of necessity limited in destructive force.

Travis bought several packs' worth of grenades of every kind, from frag to thermo detonators. He also included replenishments of kunai and shuriken packs.
Then he headed off to the Arena, where the fourth task is to fight his Mirrorverse side.
"Huh. I thought I already got rid of you." Travis said to his mirrorverse counterpart, the Dark Apprentice Travis.
"I could say the same about you." His dark counterpart sneered.
Both boys immediately started throwing kunai, but found that all of them were knocked out of the air. Then they went down and dirty with their lightsabers. Dark Travis had the power and fury of the Dark Side at his command, while Travis had the resilence of the Light Side. It was a stalemate through and through.

IC: Vector stared at his counter-part. Then, the air seemed to turn to vapour around Vector, waves of heat seemed to issue from his skin. A bright flash, and then Vector was gone. Or, to be more precise, he was there, only it was a little difficult to know where he was. His adversary, Dark Vector, stared at the 100 copies of Vector who were charging forward, then smiled. Soon, 200 Vectors were slicing at each other with lightsabers, the entire arena one big battefield. Behind the ranks, both Vectors eyed the fight. Vector: "This isn't going to work..." "Enough!"
Sihtarak cast another lightning bolt then unexpectedly followed through with a Grease spell, causing Karathis' staff to fly from his hands.
The aberration of a wizard's mouth twisted into a crooked smile, as his Staff of the Magi turned jet black and swirled with energy. Taking a potion from his robes, he drank it, his normally poor wizardly physique bulging and becoming larger.
Wings erupted from his back and his form became larger as he shapechanged into a mighty demon, wreathed in flame, clutching an enormous jet black staff.
"Now you will die!" bellowed Sihtarak, charging at the considerably smaller Karathis, staff pulled back as if to sweep him away with a single blow.
"Two can play at that game, demon!"
He focussed the weave, and light seemed to condense around his hands. When he pulled one hand back, it shaped itself into a shimmering longbow made of light.
"The line ends here, O cruel parody of mine!"
Drawing back the invisible string, a shining red arrow manifested itself, and was shot at Sihtarak. The balor beat it away with the staff, scoffing at the gesture.
"Your petty light magics are no match for the power of a balor."
Karathis drew back the string again, firing an orange arrow at the advancing wizard-transformed-into-a-balor. This time it landed true, sending searing acid through Sihtarak's transformed body.
But his rival was only slowed down slightly by the arrow of light, and continued on his charge.
The arrows are only slowing him down... I need to think of something, and quick!
"Have you made peace with your maker, magician?"
As his counterpart assumed her stance, one of balanced agression, Mayth assumed a stance of his own, a stable but fluid one. What happened next was possible to follow with the naked eye but not easy.
Counter-Mayth charged forward as her hands came up to strike at Mayth. Each strike was met, countered or avoided while the same happened with his replies until thier hands were moving beyond that which could be seen as each moved just slightly faster than the previous blow. Bouncing back they circled each other before they each manifest a sword. Mayth's was across his back while her's was at her hip.
Backing away from each other each drew the weapons. Mayth's bore a black blade that seemed sheathed in a vortex within the wind as well as a manji crossguard whereas Counter-Mayth's appeared to be ordinary steel. Reversing her grip she dropped it to the ground and instead of lodging in the dirt, returned from its former jello-like state, it passed into the earth as if it were water. Two parallel rows of blades rose up befor shattering into countless shards. Each tiny blade caught the light and reflected it in a manner most strange, as if someone had shaken a cherry tree dislodging its blossems.
The shards launched after Mayth directed by Counter-Mayth's motions. It was a most devestating technique as it combined incredible speed with projectiles that were next to impossible to defend against and most importantly was exceptionally beautiful to watch. Mayth's weapon and its associated strengths however were one of the view manners capable to combat the Vibrant Display of the Thousand Cherry Blossoms for they increased his speed beyond that of even Counter-Mayth's weaponry.
As the Cherry Blossems chased after Mayth, he seemed to blur and reappear in multiple places as he circled his opponent at high-speed. Each attack was avoided as Counter-Mayth worked to trap her foe in an inescapable position. Having gotten Mayth into the air she launched her trap as she sent the full force of her attack against him from every angle.
Then, from her opinion, the impossible happened. Mayth had been holding back his speed slightly and utilized the increase to knock down the tiny blades. Only one managed to get through to open a cut along his left cheek before he landed and dashed forward to impale his opponent. With a kiss to the cheek and a kick to the groin, Counter-Mayth vanished and her weapon with her leaving Mayth victorious but in pain.

It was 8:00 A.M. The contestants were seated in the stands.
At each Contestants turn, they were called down into the Arena Floor.
The last call came to Zaytun.
Once Zaytun was down there, he was told to adopt his favorite fighting stance, and face the other side of the Arena.
Once this happened, The Magi-Masters went to work.
Ros caused a Great Mirror to rise out of the ground. The others poured their particular element into it, except Xos and Agrinja who refrained from casting.
The Image shown was Zaytun, but, it was like a bad Joke, because the Karathis in the Mirror, was the exact opposite of the Zaytun in the Arena - Nutyaz [pronounced noot-iayz].
Then Agrinja formed the Void and enveloped the Mirror. It seemed to stretch backwards into eternity.
Xos Cast Multiple spells spells at the Mirror quickly.
The Mirror Shattered, but Nutyaz stayed.

Now, to get to the points.
[ooc: Nutyaz will be voiced in teal]
Zaytun looked squarely at his opponent - the alter ego of the demon. It was a pacifist; and any attack would dematerialize against him. The way to beat Nutyaz was simple - to instill doubt in him. But Zaytun was all doubt and it would prove difficult to batter into someone with absolute certainty. But each person was their own fortress, and thus this would become the battle of the words long before it could become a contest of brute force.
"So they have summoned you - my brother..."
Nutyaz immediately retorted - "They did not summon me, and you are not my brother. Do not twist truth or you will find yourself wrapped in it tightly. Slander me, but you shall find it difficult to dispel me."
"Dispel? You read intentions too harshly..."
"But truthfully. You aim to destroy me, and I shall resist against you."
"Hatred is not one of your caliber."
"I hate nothing."
Zaytun laughed. "Everyone hates something. You have to be a blind fool to believe that."
"Hatred is not compatible with my existence," Nutyaz replied, glaring directly into Zaytun's eyes. It was a blank stare.
"You are nothing though," Zaytun said. "I can see nothing in you, and yet you blare these random paradoxes that utterly confound your own existence."
"You doubt everything - how can you be so certain that I am nothing?"
"It's easy for me to doubt that I know. In fact, you cannot prove that I doubt everything, because I do doubt everything, so I doubt the fact that I doubt everything."
"And look who spills the utter paradoxes that utterly confound his own existence," Nutyaz replied. Zaytun was becoming angry - rightfully so. Was it impossible to corrode the certainty of his lies, or was this going to be a contest of will? Zaytun looked around at the crowd, some yawning in their seats while others became more disinterested in the contest of rhetoric in the arena. A negliable number was devotely attentive to every action in the arena.
"Look! You're boring the crowd!"
"I am not here to please the crowd or to play with you. I am here to defeat your pathedy, and erase your influence upon the world. Whether you would like it or not, it must end today."
"It has always been in my favor though, you remember?"
"Do not confuse the pathology of mortal intelligence to the divine. You can sway the minds of the weak - the ones who fear everything, knowing nothing to fear in any case. The mortals destroy themselves with their own fears and pathologies - the only impact that you create is to catalyze their reckless thoughts and commit to the paths of the unrighteous. You may be able to win the mortal mind, but the divine shall always prevail, and no divine has ever chosen the ways of skeptical doubt. You have failed in every confrontation, and in the arena, they have summoned me to satisfy their own pleasures - but I shall neither indulge it nor tolerate it. I will end you."
"So harsh - how can you be so negative about me? If you are so certain that I am to perish, what about yourself?"
Nutyaz nodded. "I don't need you to exist. I know myself - and you are not me, and I am not you. We exist in different planes."
"You are exactly like me,"
"You so certain, yet you doubt even that. I can recite your own words and make you tremble at their every thought. You can try to conjure your army of demons, but the truth is that you can never prove their existence. I will always prevail because you are never certain of their own existence, and I am always certain. You cannot dispel my belief over your doubt. Belief is more powerful than doubt."

Why must you call down another blow?
Chorus:

Dark Travis:
You who I called brother
How could you have come to hate me so?
Is this what you wanted?
The dust cleared to see the two combatants with their lightsabers raised. They charged once more.
Chorus:

Dark Travis:
Then let my heart be hardened
And never mind how high the cost may grow
This will still be so:

As the 200 copies of Vector and Dark Vector battled it out on the field, the two opponents stood behind the ranks supervising the battle. All in all, Vector seemed to be winning, although his troops were gaining little headway. Then, Vector stopped, as if thinking. "Hmmm... my exact opposite eh...? Well, if that's the case..." Vector unleashes a small globe of electricity which flies in a wide arc over the battlefield, right at Dark Vector. Dark Vector looks up, then smiles sinisterly, lifts his hand in the direction of the incoming attack and unravels the energy, which promptly dissipates... revealing a hand-grenade at the core, which slowly drops to the floor. Dark Vectors eyes widen, and then a tactical nuclear explosion incinerates half of the arena. "Well, that's that..." Vector chuckled, walking out of the arena.

In desperation Karathis fired the other arrows, which were each absorbed in turn by the blackstaff.
Only the Violet one left...
He lifted the shimmering bow one more time and drew back a brilliant violet arrow.
Sihtarak's eyes locked onto the final arrow. He knew all too well its powers.
"Oh no you won't!" he bellowed, swinging the blackstaff across at the bow.
A split second before Karathis could unleash the arrow, the staff impacted the prismatic bow and absorbed it, leaving the abjurer holding his hands in a silly fashion.
With horror, he saw the weave of the light-bow flow into the blackstaff as it glowed.
And then, it dawned upon him.
"You haven't won yet!" he called, unleashing a bolt of raw arcane energy. Caught unawares, the Balor was struck by the bolt of magic square in the chest and was sent flying into the centre of the arena.
Sihtarak began to laugh.
"Try your best, abjurer. This form is too powerful for you to destroy with your petty magics."
Bolt after bolt came after the infamous Burning Orb, who absorbed each with a grin of glee with the staff.
"What, getting tired?" taunted Sihtarak, confident in his victory.
Not deigning to answer, Karathis intoned a very powerful, high valence spell. Nagae, Faestun, Abarras, Gaverni, Malacht! came the echoing words, as light appeared to swirl into his hands in a vortex, forming into a ball.
As the incantation finished, the ball streaked towards the confident Sihtarak, who raised his staff to catch it.
"Goodbye, O double of mine."
Karathis held an arm over his eyes as his counterpart realised his fatal mistake. But it was far too late.
As the orb sank slowly into the black staff, fractures began to appear from the point of impact. Bright rays of light erupted from the staff of the magi as the entire arena began to rumble, prompting many to brace against the seats in front of them.
Even those with the ability to see the weave were affected, the escaping magics threatening to blind those who looked directly at it. For a moment, it was if a star had formed in the centre of the stadium.
Suddenly, there was a deafening explosion, creating enormous fissures all through the arena floor. (Thankfully, it was stopped by the warding spells) When the energy cleared away, there was a huge 30 foot crater where Sihtarak was standing, with rubble strewn everywhere.
Slumped against one side of the arena was Karathis, teeth gritted and bleeding profusely. He stood, coughing, and picked up his staff from beside him to prop himself up.
It appeared his gambit had worked, and his fatally arrogant mirror counterpart was gone.
Whether he had been shunted to another plane, or simply annihilated, did not matter. What mattered was that the evil wizard had been defeated, and would not plague him any more.
---
Karathis of the Burning Orb stood, cursing his mistake. He shivered, and looked around at his surroundings.
Standing before him was a pit fiend, wreathed in a pair of leathery wings. His heart sank as he realised he was still in the form of a Balor, and began to back away.
"What brings you to sunny Cania, Mel'thnksinda'shvaal?" it spoke, its mouth contorting into a cruel grin.
Sihtarak's eyes widened in fear as he realised the devil knew his true name.
"Stand back! I-I command powerful magics!" he whimpered, raising his arms and backing away. The Pit fiend unfurled its wings and raised a claw.
"I said K-keep aw- Eyaaaaaargh!"
OOC: Where's round five? Is it on this thread, or do you have a link?
OOC: I'll link you to Hak's thread in a moment. Since it seems, Demon 666 is no longer intrested, you may assume his place.

Ray stopped the Blast from hitting the audience and effecting anything further than the Arena floor.
But it was far too late.

the seats that Wolfs Family were now were empty of them as they were taken away when he was taken away from the Battle
The Combatants and their helpers were all called to the center of the Arena, all at the same time.
It was Dusk.
"Ladies and gentlemen please Would you bring your attention to me?
For a feast for your eyes to see An explosion of catastrophe." The speaker was shrouded in impenetrable darkness. The Magi-masters, Lady Ri-an, and The Aquamarinians were nowhere to be seen.
"Ladies and gentlemen good evening You’ve seen that seeing is believing.
Your ears and your eyes will be bleeding Please check to see if you’re still breathing." Thunder crashed and lightning struck a sheet covering a massive door. The sheet fell away to reveal a massive stone door with a whirlpool design on it.
"Like nothing you’ve ever seen before Watch closely as I open this door.
Your jaws will be on the floor After this you’ll be begging for more." The Darkness fell away to reveal Kajeenith himself. The Space Time Continuum around the Arena Twisted and turned, buckled and jumped, as a massive anomaly unlike any other was felt. There was no escape from it. Everyone was carried along, as Kajeenith opened the door.
Behind it were the missing persons, near a large four armed Gareen.
They awoke just as everything went white.
The Combatants awoke to find themselves in a giant ring, voices shouting in a confusion. Some were audience members, some were people on the side.
A screen read "Error Macro!" and it was flashing.
A bell rang. "Begin Round Seven." a female voice called.
On the otherside of the ring, was a Giant of a Gareen, boasting four remarkably well muscled arms, and it had an Aquamarinian for a head. It was weaving its Tenticles about, as it shadowboxed the air. It wore The robes of The Magi-masters, all of them, blended into the robes of a crime against nature, for that was what This thing was. They could feel The Psionic Hive Mind of The Aquamarinians Blended into this, THING. They could feel it had the powers of Lady Ri-an.
The Screens Flickered.
"Begin Round Seven." The Female Voice called again as The Bell rang again.
There were no other Dimensions to escape to, no existence beyond the ring, as large as the Arena was.
The Screens corrected themselves.
"In The Red Corner, Representing Humans, Dragons, Kobolds, and generally all of Existence, The Contestants! and, in The Blue Corner, Made from the Combined powers and bodies of The Ri-anese, Representing The Void, ERMAC!" Kajeenith Called out from his Throne of Bones outside the Ring.
Ermac turned to the Contestants. Ermac let out a Bloody Roar that shook the very floor of The Void.
"Defeat and kill ERMAC. Its the only way to save us. Lady Ri-an said from outside the ring. She was completly powerless.
"It'll disrupt Kajeenith's Anomally, and free us all." She said a moment later.
Ermac turned to the Contestants.
Ermac used Amniesa on the contestants, causing those so targeted by The Psionic power to completly lose their memories for a brief time, which meant, no powers, no fighting ability, nothing. They could see its area of effect streaking through the air towards them.
Ermac then Rolled up and threw a giant fireball at them.
OOC: This is Round Seven. Kill ERMAC. Round Seven begins the hardest rounds.
ERMAC has all the skill and power of a Gareen, The Aquamarinian Hive, and Lady Ri-an, but none of the wisdom on why to use certain things. therefore, its not as difficult as facing the real deals.

((OOC: Well, at least for this battle, I'm considering the party supercharged by the run-in with the Zohar Reactor and as such, everything they do is immensely amplified from normal.
For the record, it is in fact all an extension of the Shapechange spell, just with one form, and made possible by the Zohar Reactor. That, and it's powerful enough that dispel attempts are more-or-less pointless.
Karathis became a Prismatic Dragon (SRD), Vaikwur became an Omnielemental (MM3), Ulrich became Large sized and temporarily gained equipment similar to the Regalia of Good (BoED) and I'mdyp became an Ethereal Dragon (Draconomicon)
The omni-elemental is souped up, as well.))
Karathis reactively raised a Prismatic Wall between Ermac and the contestants, blocking the effect of the Amnesia spell entirely, incidentally also blocking the fireball from passage by virtue of its brilliant power.
That, and the mind blanks were still handily in effect, so the adventurers were immune, if nobody else.
Well, my lady, it looks like we're going to have to dip into our resevoirs again.
The adventurers lifted small, intricate structures made of gemstones painstakingly (and magically) worked into thin wire, glowing with immense stored energy. Pressing their hands against the structures, the gemstone devices crumbled to dust, the adventurers each becoming infused with an awesome power unattainable by their own means.
Ordinarily, the magnitude of this would not be so great, but after their brief stay near the Zohar Reactor, the structures were charged with immense power, and almost elemental aspects of the adventurers were brought to the fore.
They weren't quite expecting such a great effect, but all the same they were glad for it.
"You would dare attack me?" boomed Karathis, his form becoming enveloped in scintillating light, and growing as the other adventurers moved out of the way.
Vaikwur brought his staff down, arcane magics radiating from the point and enveloping the adventurers. All at once, they were augmented with an combination package of the power amplifying magicks, at a higher grade of power. Raising the staff again, while Karathis' light enveloped form was still growing, the little Kobold's form evaporated, the vapour expanding rapidly.
Ulrich's armour turned gold, and his form grew, blazing with golden fire and thundering with righteous might. His sword transmuted into a shining mithral rod, his helmet became adorned with a circlet of silvery mithral, and a bright orb of purest crystal embedded itself into his shield, the paladin now the size of the largest ogre, surrounded in blinding light.
I'mdyp appeared to simply fade away, clutching the shimmering disk of her god. "Io grant me strength" she muttered, a pearly white substance flowing from where she disappeared, and flowing outwards into the form of a dragon.
The shimmering prismatic aura around Karathis coalesced into the form of an ancient and mighty prismatic dragon, its wings a brilliant violet and its body a montage of colours. Well, I wasn't expecting this... All the better, then. he thought, taking wing and aiming a blast of multicoloured, deadly light at Ermac. He retained spellcasting faculties, of course, but it was easier to ignore them for the time being until such time where they would prove decisive.
Besides, he had a wonderful fresh new resevoir of magical power inherent in this form.
The Vaikwur-vapour formed together as a towering mass of the four elements, the normally conflicting primal forces working in unison and protecting one another. He lobbed a flaming rock at Ermac, the concoction of elements climbing out as one of the 'vanilla' elementals upon impact.
Ulrich, as usual, charged in, severely lacking in ranged combat capacity, raising the staff and swinging it with enormous divine force.
I'mdyp coalesced into an Ethereal Dragon, flexing her pearly white wings and taking to the skies, fading away here and reappearing there, to deliver a wave of pure force, blowing over those unfortunate enough to be in its way.

Mayth yawned during the warping of time-space and had fallen asleep during the announcements and pleadings. The fireball was the catalyst for waking him up. The restrictor he'd been put under to ensure a fair fight would also let him have an enjoyable time with Ermac, after a decent rest.
Watching the actions of the active party, he pulled a deck chair out of the air and a mixed drink in a coconut with a twirly straw to watch for a couple seconds before getting involved.

Travis and Ryujin were dropped once more into the arena and along with the others, were face to face with an extremely powerful foe known as ERMAC. The fact that all the contestants had to face this guy at the same time didn't bode well...
Travis started off with a Thunderbolt while Ryujin breathed a Flamethrower technique at the beast, dodging the fireball it returned on them.
As the combined attacks streaked towards Ermac, he reached out with all his arms and all his tenticles and pulled the magic into him, and ate it. then he dived upon The Prismatic Wall and sucked it up, eating it.
Ermac flexed his arms and Tenticles, and began to Glow.
The heat began to rise, and a Firestorm like the surface of the sun erupted outwards from Ermac.
Meanwhile, as Ulrich approached, ERMAC paused and put on a pair of sunglasses. Then he punched Ulrich with the strength to crumble a Boulder.
As Vector approached, a Quake happened, Violently shaking the floor.
Then ERMAC leaped away. His powers combined.
The Gravity began to rise, as ERMAC brought into being something even Light couldn't Defeat.
It Rose higher and higher and threatened to crush them.
Ermac was just a Black Sphere, which was really, a Black Hole.
He couldn't keep it up forever though, but he could keep it up long enough for it to qualify as a deadly assault with Gravity.

((OOC: For this defence, I am using the precedent of the spell Reality Maelstrom, which creates the magical equivalent of a black hole.
Also, mind you, none of the attacks which came from the party could be considered in any way magical. They're monster abilities...))
Ulrich met the punch (and firestorm) with his shield, being pushed back by the punch but without toppling over, a small dent showing on the artifact shield. The two dragon-form adventurers resisted the firestorm, their nigh-on-impossibly high resistance to magic causing it to simply waft around them. And Vaikwur? Well, he was in omni-elemental form, after all.
As Ermac formed into a black hole, the two adventurers-in-form-of-dragon dropped to the floor of the arena and dug in, while the other two were already far too heavy to be pulled out of their positions.
Heavy, of course, was relative, but their forms may as well have been anchored for all the black hole was worth.
The grounded Karathis and Vaikwur moved their tranformed arms in complex patterns, unravelling the magic that held Ermac together, channeling it back to Lady Ri-An. It wouldn't just be a simple dispelling, as could be done with so much other magic, but it was wearing away at the forces keeping Ermac as a whole.
Ulrich, the only one still with access to his gear, slowly dragged a silvery rod from a leather bag, by a little baggie of paper, and let it go, the rod seemed to hang there for a split second before soaring up into the Black Hole of Ermac.
"Gravitate THIS!" he yelled, the vicious pole gaining speed.
The others kept their distance, with good reason. It was a rod of cancellation, one of the most powerful items created with abjuration magicks, and charged with what might be considered 'Anti-Magic', though the term was not entirely accurate. A single touch with it had the potential to strip the power from even objects created by the gods - while it was not going to kill ermac by any stretch of the imagination, its abilities would cause serious disruption to the amalgam-being.
OOC: Right, I've had enough of this waiting. I will post a response to Hak's actions, then wait exactly three days for three responses.
IC:
While Ermac did have spells against the rod, he didn't know to use them. However, The Magi-masters robes had defences woven into them against Anti-magic. Only two activated. The Robes of The Temporal Magi-master forsaw the Rods effects, and inturn, due to the inseperable bond between Time and Space, The Space magi-Mistresses robes activated, cancelling The blackhole while Teleporting Ermac away.
ERMAC noticed that most of the Contestants had Metal.
He summoned from Mirroden, A Ruststorm so Violent and Heavy, it looked like an Arabian Sandstorm. A Mirroden Ruststorm was magical in nature, and forced Everything Metal it touched to Rust out and become useless, such as The Anti-magic Rod, Ulrich's Armor shield and sword, The Lightsabres, Mayth's Deck chair, anything metal in any pouch or pocket the rust could get into.
With the Ruststorm came a host of Rust Creatures and Elementals that began eating the Metal.
ERMAC used Xos's Dispelling enchantment, which automaticly cancelled all enchantments on bothsides, permanently. This upset Kajeenith quite a bit.
The Aquamarinian fell off The Gareen's head and again became two seperate creatures.
The Gareen saw it was under attack and rushed Travis intending to pound him to bits.
The Aquamarinian Shook its head, and launched a Psionic assualt. Not every Psionic power could be beaten by a Mind Blank.
It Cracked its tenticles, and the air took on a sick green tint to it. The Light and darkness elements was disabled from use, rendering all presently active Prismatic spells and forms useless.

A shock of danger and Travis rolled to the side just as a huge creature attacked. With speed borne of his training, Travis lashed out with the golden blade, hoping to damage the beast.

Sputtering Mayth came up from where he had fallen when his deck chair had been rusted away. He brushed off some of the excess fluid from his drink but still smelled as if he'd come out of a bar.
Glaring at ERMAC, he bent and touched his hand to the ground. Standing a plant grew up from the ground in a form of a very large shillelagh. It was composed of darkwood and was then subjected to a transmutation to mold it into dark-ironwood.
With a warcry he hefted the cudgle and charged.

((A prismatic dragon is still a dragon... the fact that Karathis can no longer use the prismatic spray breath doesn't mean it's not damned dangerous.
That, and Major Artifacts tend to be difficult to destroy. You know, except for very specific methods.
I'm just going to make a call here and say that magic items in general are not destroyed-destroyed, because of the difficulty of cleanup afterwards. The amount of time needed to reclaim all the stuff from a disenchanted storage device is kind of excessive, so I'll say the enchantment got suppressed.))
Ulrich's armour and shield disintegrated and blew away in the rust storm, leaving him wearing just his arming doublet (with associated clothing) and circlet. In his hands remained the pure crystal orb and the staff, the artifacts unaffected by mere planar magics.
The planar gate having been closed by Ermac's unwise use of Xos' dispelling enchantment Ulrich set to work tearing into the rust creatures, swinging the great artifact staff at the intruders from Mirrodin.
I'mdyp lost her dragon form, though her equipment survived thanks to the dispel taking effect after the rust-storm. The melded equipment returned, some of it rendered inert, others not. Drawing her blade, she leapt at the Gareen, vanishing entirely, before reappearing without warning and ramming the blade into the back of the Gareen's neck.
Vaikwur returned to the form of a kobold, quickly regaining his composure and unleashing a barrage of force bolts at the Aquamarinan, employing his most powerful valences of magic yet not expending them. Much of his equipment had survived, too, given the great quantities of magic which needed to be dispelled.
Karathis seemed slightly offended at the attempt.
"Hah! You think to abjure the magics of a true master?" he scoffed, unravelling the attempt to dispel his prismatic dragon form and seizing the magic to his own ends, the form advancing an age category.
If there was one advantage Karathis had over this thing ursurping Xos' power (among others), it was that it lacked the finesse which usually came with great power.
"The finest ingredients in the world won't help you if you can barely make a stew."
Despite the Aquamarinan applying a blanket block to arcane manifestations of light and darkness, the prismatic dragon's strengths were hardly in that realm.
Karathis-as-a-Prismat descended on the Aquamarinan and began tearing into its flesh, beginning by throwing it into the air with his jaws. Karathis continued by tearing into it with every limb, finishing by slapping it back down with his tail.

OOC: Good Job! You got him.
IC:
The Aquamarinian had but one last chance left. It wrapped itself around the Gareen to again access the magic.
It cast the only spell it could could think of, being overwhelmed with the various elements.
It cast a spell The Magi-masters had mutually decided not to cast, due to its difficulty for even the most notorious, the most epic of castors to control.
It cast Elemental Flare. True enough, they had other flares they could cast, but once started, it was hard to stop.
As it cast, the contestants were ripped back to Ri-an, and it started.
Lightning continually struck from the skies, the ground opened wide to swallow them. Fire Raged and screamed accross the battlefield. Water was everywhere, as Water gushed up from the underground watertables, rising into a flood. The Spirits of the dead ripped out of Lady Ri-an and began attacking everyone.
Space twisted and turned, buckling and turning the attacks on everyone, as Time slowed considerably, for everyone.
Ermac realised his mistake too late, as the final part of the spell manifested, and turned everyone's own energies against them, causing them to attack and harm their own masters with every passing second.
ERMAC tried to stop it, but failed.
ERMAC screamed a pitiful scream as his own unnatural energies ripped him apart. There was no more ERMAC, but the spell was still active, it was still going.
OOC: I'm not too surprised this one went quick though, everybody fighting, trying to come up with a challenege that is sufficent but not impossible for everyone is hard. Eight, Nine and ten are solo though, and I think I have each of you figured out enough to give you a pretty difficult challenge, none of which are Kajeenith! He's optional round 11.

It was over in a flash. They had tried to fight, of course, but the warped space-time meant they had as much chance of accidentally hitting some poor sod eighty light-years away as they did of hitting their target.
"D-Damn it! Dispel! Dispel! Di-" yelled the kobold evoker frantically, shifting the elements as fast as he could to try and bring the extreme amounts of elemental energy released, before being hit by the feedback and being flung into the sky, his small form flailing about as he soared into the distance.
I'mdyp almost seemed to dance around the various elemental effects, even weaving through gouts of flame unharmed, materialising again further along her route after becoming ethereal multiple times.
Ulrich, having little mobility as it is, was pummeled by the elements, surviving only thanks to his fortituous health and liberal expenditure of healing magicks, wounds reopening almost as fast as they closed.
Karathis was more or less safe, the form of the prismatic dragon being exceptionally thick skinned and weathered the magic well.
They could not, however, have prepared for the backlash which followed, as the fortituous powers of the adventurers turned traitor and began striking at them.
I'mdyp's frail form was the first to fall, only her relic of glorious Io keeping her alive, yet comatose, subdued by her own ethereal alter ego turned traitor.
Ulrich suffered a similar fate, the long forgotten dark side of human nature almost overwhelming him and triggering a shut down into a comatose state to protect his own psyche. He did, however, succeed in suppressing the cascading effect (personally, at least), despite temporarily costing him his consciousness.
Karathis, still in the form of a prismat, felt the immense magics built up in his form beginning to turn traitor, and shucked the magicks quickly, the Prismatic Dragon exploding into a burst of multicoloured (and fortunately harmless) light, leaving behind the wizard who was polymorphed into it muttering rapidly and drawing all manner of arcane symbols on the ground.
While the sudden expenditure of magic, the abjurer's arcane footprint was greatly diminished, and the burgeoning energy attempting to rip him apart was slowed. Willing himself to stay conscious, he worked feverishly to reweave the spell into a self-destructive loop (As in, the spell would stop increasing in effect and start petering out), all the while his body looking more haggard by the second.
Drawing a last sigil, and channeling the rest of his prepared power into it, he finally collapsed, fading into unconsciousness. Hopefully, it would be enough.
Meanwhile Vaikwur had summoned an air elemental, which was gradually slowing his fall. He was, of course, well out of the arena by then, and outside the area of the spell's effects - barring some sort of expanding radius, but even then it would be some time before it caught up.

During all this time, Vector had been swept off his feet by the earthquake. He quickly recovered, but by the time he came charging at Ermac, the thing disappeared. "Oh no... I'm too young for this..." he feverishly fumbled in his garments, growing weaker and weaker. His shield-generator protected him from the elements, but feeling his force turning against him threw him into somewhat of a panic. Finding what he was looking for, he withdrew a small ring from his pocket and put it on his finger. Immediately his robes began to glow. "Ha..." he chuckled. "They may try to use my own powers against me, but they can't use my technological equipment." He grew fainter, almost disappearing, as he was uplifted into another dimensional level, away from all the chaos and mayhem. He walked over to Karathis, leaving no foorprints as he went, and put his hand on him (or into, to be more precise), "jumpstarting" him with a charge of power.
Although the Air Elemental was slowing his fall, Vaikwur found himself caught by the same man he had pummled earlier. Riding on Starfire, his Alicorn, Rahegalhoff caught Vaikur as he fell, winging his way back to the arena.
Back at the Arena, the spell suddenly died, as Kajeenith uncreated it.
He scowled at everybod.
"So it would seem you can fight." he said.
Then for no appearent reason he smiled at Karathis. He disappeared.
At this point, Rahegalhoff dropped Vaikwur off back at the arena.
That left the problem of where were the Magi-masters?
The Robes of Ermac seperated into the individual robes of each master, and fluttered down on the ground. Arcane energy filled them, and adopted a humanoid shape. Then it became the actual magi-masters themselves. They slowly stood up.
"Ugh, I feel as if I was just hit by a Freight-train." Xos complained.
Khalan held her head. She had a splitting headache.
"Stupid Kajeenith doesn't even know how to make a proper anomally monster." Stella complained.
"We'll begin fresh the day after tomorrow. Obviously, we need to recast the defense spells against Kajeenith." Xos said.
Rahegalhoff kneeled, prayed, and a massive field of restoration filled the arena, returning everyone's health to normal.
"Replacement armors and weapons will be payed for by the Ri-an Government." Xos said.
Your rooms are still where they were before.

Travis used every trick and trade he learned to dodge all the elemental attacks. He met wind with counter-wind. Fire with water. Water with fire. Lightning with lightning. Spirits with Reigun. Kawarmi and Kage Bunshin against those he couldn't fight. His reserves were quickly drained. And then...his powers turned upon him. A powerful explosion resulted when the various elements struck him, consuming the boy. He was a bloody mess by the time the restoration field revived him.
"That was a doozy." Travis moaned. Though healed, he was achy from all the battles that resulted and had to do minor exercise to get the ache out of his muscles. "I hope I never have to live through something like that again..."

A Middle aged woman was nearby.
"Oh you poor man! Are you all right? Come, I know an excellent store where we can replenish your gear." She said.
fact of the matter was, The audience was able to see everything.
Mayth found himself caught in a whirlwind of emotional chaos as that's how the elemental and spiritual storm presented itself to him. As it wasn't presenting a threat persay, he ignored it till he found himself being clubbed with his own club and that he was in fact clubbing himself to vocal encouragement. Vocal encouragement of the tone of 'Stop hitting yourself, stop hitting yourself, stop hitting yourself.'
Gritting his teeth as he attempted to stop himself, he stumbled about his ears ringing and the fountain that had been his nose gushing blue.

As the battle was over, and the restoration field active, he was fully healed.
Finding himself with a headache even a fully empowered restoration field could cure, Mayth stretched and headed to find someplace to soak while the mages did thier thing and fixed up the arena and its wards.

They had a whole day to relax/train.whatever until round eight, so Mayth was Teleported to Kokonino Beach, The premire beach in all of Ri-an. He found himself relaxing in a deck chair underneath a beach umbrella. Next to him on a little table was a Coconut containing a smoothie. A wee little paper umbrella leaned over the side of the Coconut. the sun was shining, the waves were relaxing, and the water was warm, not cold. the perfect place for mayth to rest up awhile.

"Gee, thanks. Lead the way." Travis replied.
An orange-clad sensei and two worried friends came along for the ride.
"You all right, kid? That was a tough battle, even for you." Naruto asked.
"Yeah. Yeah, it was." Travis grinned tiredly. Then he remembered his lack of weaponry and sobbed. "All my precious! Gone! Boo ho ho ho!"
They sweatdropped until Kagome whacked him upside the head with a harisan (paper fan).
"Ow. Thanks. I needed that." Travis rubbed his head, his waterfall tears ceasing.
"No prob."

She lead him to a nearby store. then she went through all the aisles picking out weapons. Obviously, she was very wise in the arts of the ninja, because she seemed to know exactly what Travis needed. But, it wasn't of ordinary quality. The replacements were of Masterwork Mythril. The strongest, lightest and highest Quality one could get.
Ordinarily, that much Mythril would cost More than the average person could afford.
"Just bill it to my Husband." She told the shopkeeper.
"Yes, Milady Empress." He replied.
"Well, my teacher always did say that second rate equipment made a second rate Ninja. But you'll meet him soon enough Mr. Masaki. Your going to face him in round 8." She said.
She lead them back out.
"Now don't get me wrong, that isn't always neccessarily true, but all the same, the concept is sound." She said, handing him all his Equipment in a bag of holding.

"Looks like you'll be facing a Master ninja, the guy who trained this Empress." Naruto smirked as Travis took the stuff.
"I can't decide whether to be relieved or frightened." Travis deadpanned. Mythril, eh? Same stuff as my mailshirt. Cool.
"Eh, you'll be fine." Naruto chuckled. "You survived the last seven rounds, after all."
"By the skin of my teeth, Sensei. By the skin of my teeth." Travis sighed as he restocking his holsters and sheathes. Still, it's rather fun, and I even got some experience under my belt.

Master and apprentices took glances and shrugged. "All right."
Mayth sipped his drink throught the bendy straw he manifested as he looked about. It wasn't a truely good place to relax without the odd wild bikini populating the landscape, throwing and persuing novelty flying disks or simply turning pale skin into a nicely bronzed tone.

"My husband, emperor Magesha of The Black Lotus society." The Empress said.
He nodded.

"Ouf," said Vaikwur, colliding with and being caught by Rahelgahoff's steed. "Thanks."
The winded kobold was silent the whole way down to the Arena, though he found the breath to mutter a quick Haste spell, accelerating Rahelgahoff's journey.

Once the adventurers had rested and managed to recover, thanks mostly to the restoration field, they hit the Mall, replacing their lost equipment. Ulrich also splurged some money on a crossbow with an automatic reloading mechanism and some custom bolts incorporating rods of cancellation.
After stocking up on miscellany, the adventurers met up again and set off to find Lady Ri-an, to take her up on the offer of counter-void training.
Failing that, they would simply trespass again, holding large placards reading 'Looking for Lady Ri-an', which was bound to catch her attention.

Between the time Rahegalhoff left and the time Ulrich got his replacement equipment, Ulrich would find his armor had replaced itself, and was nearly identical to Raggy's except it had the symbols of Ulrich's own God. He would later find, that this Armor was completly immune to rust and destroy effects, fixed itself during and after battle, slowly regenerated his wounds and heales his illnesses, and lastly, if he kept his sword in the scabbard that came with the Armor, he would never again need to fix it, sharpen it, or clean it, save to wipe the blood guts and gore off before putting it away.
He had The old man himself to thank for this special armor, if he could ever find him again.
(OOC: Mythril Plate Mail, Self-repairing, gives Regeneration 1d4 per round. Mythril Shield, Self Repairing. AC 20, with Shield, 25.)
Meanwhile, Lady Ri-an was in a cavern filled with various Ioun stones. A myrad of stones picked up and started circling the adventurers as they passed, producing nearly every effect known to be given from an Ioun stone.
She stood, removed the stones, and then Agrinja, The Void Magi-master Brought them to a section of the void that he had managed to seal against Kajeenith over the years.
She began talking about the balance of Creation versus Destruction, and that for one to battle the other, one must have a well-spring of its opposite within.
Knowing that not everyone was a Creation diety, it was figured out long ago, how to configure Spellcasters to enable their own magic to act Creationistic. Often this empowered the spellcasters making them stronger. If they were disapointed about becoming stronger, then she would be glad to stop there.
For Karathis and Vaikwur, she temporarily configured their magic, so they could feel what it was like to do it. Then she assisted them in learning how to permanently keep their magic that way themselves, Thus making them stronger in magic, and making them strong against the Void. They no longer worked magic, or did magic, they would create magic.
For I'mdyp the Ninja, she was asked to wait until after Round 9, when The Blind Master was going to teach her and Travis Masaki how to Combat The Void. She suggusted she watch him fight tomorrow in Round 8. He was the most qualified of anyone to pass on this knowledge.
For Ulrich, she tried the best she could, but he was a Paladin, and a Paladin's strength came from his Faith. Thus, Pelor and he would have to become so close, that Ulrich would always have a part of his God's strength with him. Thus, even in the Void, he would be a fearsome challenge. It was not her place to interfere with a man's private relationship with his God.
She took them all to a far off world. Ulrich found a Temple dedicated to all of the Sun Gods where he could Pray to Pelor for that strength Lady Ri-an mentioned.
Agrinja stayed to produce Void Creatures they could practice against.
Looking about he spotted what he'd been expecting. Deciding to take a nap Mayth closed his eyes and slept. As he slept a very small amount of drool leaked out and dripped to the ground causing various plants to grow and spread out till he was surrounded in a circle of verdent and extra-ordinarily lush vegetation. As before during his altercation with Rahegalhoff many of the plants were exceedingly rare or otherwise extinct.

You've got it wrong. Kajeenith never actually existed as his own being. thus he cannot ever live or die. Kajeenith was the religous side of Yore. Thus, two Kajeeniths, The good kind God of Creation no one ever knew, and The Mad God of Destruction everyone hates.
Warfare is his Militaristic side. Again, a good kind Creation;y bent one everyone knew, and a Mad destructive God thankfully kept out of the picture.
Yore divided into his two parts, Creation and Destruction. Alpha, Creation and the beginning of all things, and Omega, Destruction and the end of everything.
But Alpha and Omega further divided into each Warfare and Kajeenith. Then, the two Kajeeniths were switched as to what side of the mirror they were on.
So, to answer your original question, my answer was correct. He never was, as his own being. At best, he is an Idea given physical form. But how do you kill an Idea? Destruction can always find a willing follower, as can Creation.

Vector was called out to the arena for round eight.
Once he got out there, the arena warped and twisted into a discotheque.
"Live from Deuce's Boogie Wonderland, its Round eight, Vector versus Deuce!" Xos announced.
The floor lit up, and the Disco ball decended and started turning.
Disco inferno was playing. Dancing his way out to the center, was Deuce himself, in his red jacket, White pants, both covered with sequins and shining brightly. His dance shoes were made of fine leather. He had a gold Afro pick in his oversized Afro. He took of his sunglasses.
"Its time to get funky." He said.
With that he did a spin as part of his continuous dancing, and shot a flaming disco Ball of Chaos at Vector. In addition to being a fireball, it also had the Chaos effect, which would cause him to mess up on his attacks in a random unforseen fashion

As Vector walks into the arena he starts dancing (http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b308/psychicwraith/ninja_by_ulebule.gif) to the rythm of the thumping music. "Man, I like this..." he says, nonchalantly dodging Dueces' fireball and retaliating with a wave of electric force, wide spread, just to make sure Duece doesn't get away. Vector stops dancing and gets a thoughtfull expression in his face. "Feels like something is missing here...", looks around, "I know what it is!" he frantically searches through his clothes and, a couple of seconds later, retrieves a mask from the interiors of his robe. "IIIt's time to get mischievous!" he says, then forces the mask unto his face. After some intense moments of transforming into a lightning-shooting tornado, the new form (http://www.cinestatic.com/different_maps/uploaded_images/mask2-724809.jpg) of Vector appears through the cloud of smoke. "Mmmm... whata spicey meataball...!" Snaps his fingers in the air and the music changes to something more salsa-tango-disco-stylish. Withdraws a huge Stinger missile-launcher from his small pocket and aimes it at Deuce. "May I have the first dance?" Pulls the trigger, letting the laser-guided missile fly straight towards Deuce.

"HA! Loki didn't have the rythim to keep up with me, and I doubt anyone carrying his mask would either." Deuce said. He switched places with vector as the wave hit, thus hitting Vector with his own attack.
Deuce waved a hand at the missle, and it warped and twisted into a beautiful salsa dancer, and without missing a step, went from dancing solo to dancing with her. It seemed less of a fight, and more of a dance off.
He twirled her away, and she spun towards vector, becoming the missle again.

"That's because Loki always had a profound disinterest in dancing... so boring of him, I know..." Zap, sizzle, sizzle. As Vector ("The Mask") gets hit by his own electric attack, sparks running throughout his body, he switches to robot dancing for a while. He pauses and pulls out a cellular phone from his pocket. "Ahh... batteries reloaded... nice..."
As the missile approaches, he turns into a tornado, snatching it out of the air and sending it straight back at Deuce. But, before impacting, the missile simply explodes, in a deluge of blue paint, staining all of Deuces clothes and shoes. (and the tommygun)
Vector calmly stands still as Deuce empties the whole clip of the tommygun into him. Pulls out a bottle of coke and downs it. A shower of small streams flow out from his (punctured) body. "Hmmm... it would seem that you're quite a good shot... let's see how you dodge..." Whips out a small detonator with a over-sized red button and presses the button, making the tommygun in Deuce's hand explode into... well, a large elephant. Sitting on Deuce.

Transforms into a tornado, quickly growing in size and taking over the whole arena in one big sandstorm. The next second, the entire storm disappears, and Vector is seen standing behind Deuce with an enourmous hammer. Hits him full force on the head causing, according to cartoon physics, a huge bump to grow on his head.

Vector pauses and looks at Deuce. "So... tired already? I was just warming up..." Pulls out a ring from his pocket and shakes it, making it grow in size until it's very big. Looks behind him. "Come on, jump..." as if talking to a Lion in a cirkus. Before anybody realizes what's going on, a huge burning freight truck with trailer and all bursts out of the ring, flies through the air, and lands exactly on the spot where Deuce is standing.
OOC: The quickest way to beat him, is to bust the disco ball on the ceiling.
IC: As the truck sailed through the air, it hit the disco ball and knocked it off. Deuce rushed to catch it, but it broke on the floor before him.
"NO!" he screamed. He fell to his knees, hands on the floor.
Energy cracked, and deuce was transparent. As energy flickered in the air, Deuce slowoly faded away, screaming in pain and agony.
Vector found himself back at the arena.
"Victory by death!" Xos announced.
------------------------------
After Vactor had had time to rest, and the others completed round eight, Vector was called out for round nine.
"Vector versus Sepherena!" Xos announced.
Sephrena, was the sweet innocent little girl, painting Vector's picture in the middle of the arena. For a little girl, she sure was good, just as good as the great masters of art, if not better. It seemed so life like, so realistic.
It showed him, as he normally was, but standing on a gigantic pile of cash.
"Don't you like it? I call it victorious Vector. I saw you, and then I saw you with more money than I could count, so I painted that in with it. All my pictures come true eventually, all of them, without exception. Even the ones depicting terrible events, like the destruction of the Orion Trading station, or the self-destruction of Ri-an." She gave the marvelous portrait to vector.
She had a little red cape on over a school girl uniform. She couldn't of been more than seven years old.
"Let not thine eyes decive thee vector, yon child is most stalwart in battle." Lady Ri-an called down.
Sephrena painted a man holding an ak-47 on the wall. The man stepped out of the wall, becoming real. He fired at Vector.
While Vector was occupied with Sephrena's guard, she painted herself a new body, an adult body. It became real, and the child body faded. The adult Sephrena picked up the brush the shild left behind.
"You see, I'm a life goddess. I am Alpha Kajeenith's eldest daughter." As an adult, sephrena inspired lust in those that saw her. Most of the men scooted closer, and looked very hard at her, forgetting that moments ago, she was in a child's body. Which was okay, because she never was a child in the first place. She was 30 years old to be exact, but then, she could be any age she wanted to be.
"All you really have to do, is get past my paintings and knock me out." She said. Easier said than done, when she could paint faster than most printers printed.

After having sent the guard flying into the wall he just exited, Vector sighs... "Oh well, looks like we'll have to use that again..." He withdraws a mask from his garments and wears it, turning himself into a very familiar individual (http://www.cinestatic.com/different_maps/uploaded_images/mask2-724809.jpg)with a yellow suit. Whips out a painting brush. "Prepare to meet your match..." *eyes her* "... lady."
OOC: I'm going to be away for the weekend, I'll respond on Monday...

as the mask was withdrawn, it was teleported elsewhere out of his reach.
"Really now, you think I'm THAT powerful? goodness, you don't have much experience do you? Are you saying your so weak you can't take a match to what is essentially a paper-based entity and burn it to ashes? You must be weaker than most children, what species do you decend from that your so weak? Why were you even allowed to participate, if you don't even understand the basic concepts of fire and paper and what they do to each other?" She asked, genuinly worried that vector was too unintelligent to fight.
OOC: I mean, you do have a light sabre after all, I saw it in an earlier post, plenty of time was given for you to get another from the local armory.
I mean according to your own profile( http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=12433813&postcount=93 )
You have force powers, and your skin is super hot. make a little fire, put up a shield, something. this match was based on those powers, not the masks powers.

OOC: Sorry...
"Easy, easy now..." Vector chuckles at the worried look in Sephrenas face. "I was just trying to have some fun, but if you want to take everything so damn serious then, well, have it your way..." He withdraws his light-sabre from his belt and activates it, together with his energy-shield. "So, are you going to stand there all day, or are you going to actually do something? What, you're too pretty to fight?"
He decides to make the opponent have the first attack since she is obviously in disadventage, officially. Unofficially, Vector realizes that these duels have a tendency to get harder, not easier. So, Sephrena must be more powerfull than his last opponent, in which case it would be wise to procede with caution and estimate her powers by making her attack first...

OOC: Don't worry about it.
IC:
Sephrena smiled. He let her go first. Well, that would be the last mistake he made.
She twirled her paintbrush, and ink flowed freely from it. It swirled around and made a machine powered by the very same force vector was using to defend and attack with.
It stood and initiated a force shield, but only after extending an automachine gun.
The Gun started turning, and whirred into highspeeds, beginning to fire force enhanced bullets at Vector, following him as he moved about.
As he took care of that, she skipped away, painting something else.

Vector was impressed. This girl obviously knew what she was doing. Actually, she was already starting to annoy him. Vector concentrated, and, before the machines' bullets had reached him, they stopped in mid-air. "It's time for... well, to be honest, it's not time for anything..." Vector chuckled as he created a time-bubble around himself. To the onlookers it would seem as if he disappeared from one place and appeared in another one the very next second. In fact, he leasurly walked over to the machine, attached a time-bomb to it, and walked to a place where the bullets wouldn't reach him, without first having to pass through the macchine. (He placed himself behind the macchine, at a safe distance.) As soon as the time-bubble had ceased, he looked at his watch. "Well, I think that thing was supposed to go off sometime... NOW!"
A huge explosion riples throught the arena. Vector looks at the girl with barely concieled annoyance. Starts walking towards her.

As he started walking toward her, a Behemoth shouldered its way into existence. Behemoths were very large creatures, and were naturally highly resistance to non-physical attacks. This meant Psionic, Arcane, and Force powers suffured at its hands. They were also incredibly strong.
Just one of its large claws was big enough to crush Vector like an ant.
It came down slapping vector, and the shockwave of it hitting the ground jostled the stands.
Sephrena continued painting.

Sephrena continued painting.
Vector looked up at the Behemoth. "You know..." he said, "...where I come from, we have this saying, it goes: 'No matter how big the tree, it's still felled at ground-level...'" And with that, Vector made a backwards flip, landing temporarily outside the Behemoths range. He then concentrated in the Force around him, almost wearing it like a glove. He was aware of the Behemoth being resistant to non-physical attacks, but as the saying pointed out, the opponent was still standing on the ground. A light blue aura spread itself away from Vector, disipating into the ground, underneath the Behemoth. Then, Vector suddenly 'pulled' the force (and the ground) away, which had the effect of pulling the carpet out from under someone. As the Behemoth fell to the floor (quite surprised, one would assume, since this happened in just a couple of seconds) Vector activated his second light-sabre and was literally all over his opponent, using short time-bubbles to aid him. He simply jumped upon his fallen enemy and sliced him to bits, dodging the desperate blows of his victim with alarming ease. Well, to be honest, he just delivered one fatal blow to the head, and that was it.
When that was taken care of, Vector jumped down from the Behemoth (or whatever was left of it) and looked at the beautifully annoying girl. "You know, if you insist on putting up resistance like that, I won't eat dinner with you tonight..." he chuckled. Then, he vanished. He had simply dissipated himself into the surrounding Force, the only thing left of him was a rather large shimmering and sparkling cloud. A sudden jolt of force snatched the paint-brush from Sephrenas hand. "Game over, girl..." a rather familiar voice said from nowhere in particular.
OOC: I'm going to be inactive for a while, but I'll be back on Monday...

Sephrena let out a little peal of laughter.
"who says I want to eat dinner with you in the first place? Secondly, who said it would be so easy?" She said as the painted picture fell to pieces.
She too was pure energy, only she couldn't be seen.
Vector could feel himself being torn apart by her, from all sides.
Her paintbrush turned into a live cobra, that was not at all very happy to be floating in mid-air.

Vector chuckled as the cobra caught fire and burned into ashes. "Silly girl, you cannot compete with the Force, it's energy is limitless..." Vector shook off her attack, then made all the Force in the area focus itself on Sephrena, crushing her under its enourmous weight, crushing each and every one of her particles with a weight equivalent to the gravitational pull of several suns, choking her under the enourmous weight of the Force. "Don't you know, the Force is everywere, even in YOU..." she could feel the Force destroying her from the inside, burning her up...

"Small minded mortal. The force is not limitless. Infact it is really quite finite, and not present everywhere." Sephrena said.
Vector discovered that the force was gone. Just, Gone. He was inside the void, and if he valued his existing, he would revert to a normal physical form.
It didn't matter either way, because Sephrena was lost. She had no control over The Void, at all. She lost, because she was no longer present. The opening she had created was closing fast.

OOC: Um... the Force is everywere, actually, ohterwise it wouldn't be THE Force, only A Force...
IC:
Vector felt the void pulling him away from the Force, cutting his connections to it. "Great... this is something new..." he thought, making a mental note to remind himself to research into this later on. For the moment, he regained his form, jumping down unto the arena ground. He looks around, noticing that Sephrena is nowhere to be seen. "Great... what now?" he asks himself.

OOC: The Void is the complete absence of all things, the only place existing, that does not exist. A paradox indeed, but otherwise, it would not be the Void, only a giant empty space.
IC: Agrinja popped in, and grabbed Vector.
"You win, but not in a favorable manner. I hope he doesn't find her." Agrinja said. He pulled Vector out of The Void. Vector felt everything return like a giant Tidal wave.
OOC: After Coreworlds and Hak get through nine. We'll do ten.

You know, is Coreworlds going to reply?
Just wondering.

Just wondering.
If core has not responded by the time Hack finishes nine, which is actually going to be his next post, then by default, I must cut him out.
He was going to face Aiko, because nothing had really happened with Theao. I was going to take it all the way to Aiko's deceased half-angel-half-demon-deceased-for-a-few-years-now daughter Calbrena, her fourth doll.
Then in round Ten he was going to Face Emperor Magesha, Ruler of The Black Lotus Society, The Master Samurai Warrior.
Oh well.
