New Salem, Ur, Thule, The Warren, Siklo, Guido, Kisramma, Kadath. All of the western desert citites seemed agitated. People in the streets, military men, horns honking, sights and sounds that seemed strange for a region of the country usually ignored. A vistor would be quite mystified. Why the all the red and smiles? Why were drug dealers and pimps lying dead on every street corner? Who was that up there hanging from a lampost?

All it would take was one look at the capital building for each city, and the strange flag that was flying (http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/5876/flagle1.png) was instantly recognized as not Zambistan's.

Revolution had come.

Tired of being the shithole of the region, a new revolution was occuring in the west. A masked man known only as "the barber" was leading it, and had considerable force behind him. Besides the heavily armed citizenery, all military units withen the Sandy Desert had defected to the side of the revolution, and all ships in the Port of Kadath had joined as well.

The real question was, who was going to stop the revolution? Zambistan had no government, save for the shadowy criminal council that seemed to manage its affairs. And all their representitives in the west were now dead. As the revoultionaries prepared to march east, they issued thier proclamations.

To the People of Zambistan:

The sons and daughters of Zambistan, who have risen up in arms as the Zambistan National Capitalist Front against misery and the evil government, present the causes of their struggle and their principal demands:

The reasons and causes of our armed movement are that the government has failed to find solutions to the following problems:

First: The hunger, misery and marginalization from which we have always suffered.

Second: The complete lack of land on which to work in order to survive.

Third: Repression, displacement, imprisonment, torture and murder as the government's response to the just demands of our people.

Fourth: The unbearable injustices and violations of our human rights as impoverished citizens.

Fifth: The brutal exploitation we suffer in selling our products, in our workday, and in the buying of merchandise of basic necessity.

Sixth: The lack of indispensable services for the majority of the population.

Seventh: The government's lies, deceit, promises and intrusion that have lasted over 400 years. The lack of liberty and democracy to decide our destinies.

Eighth: Constitutional laws have not been followed by those who govern this country; instead they make us, the people, pay for even the smallest mistake. They lay upon us the weight of a law that we did not make, and those who did are the first ones to violate it.

The ZNCF came to dialogue with the word of truth. The ZNCF came to speak its word on the conditions that gave rise to its just war and to ask all of the Zambi people for a resolution to these political, economic and social conditions that led us to take up arms in defense of our rights and our existence.

Therefore, we demand...



Women's Revolutionary Law
In their just fight for the liberation of our people, the ZNCF incorporates women in the revolutionary struggle regardless of their race, creed, color or political affiliation, requiring only that they meet the demands of the exploited people and that they commit to the laws and regulations of the revolution. As well as, taking account of the situtation of the woman worker in Zambistan,the revolution incorporates their just demands of equality and ustice in the following Women's Revolutionary Law.

First--Women, regardless of their race, creed, color or political affiliation, have the right to participate in the revolutionary struggle in any way that their desire and capacity determine.

Second--Women have the right to work and receive a just salary.

Third--Women have the right to decide the number of children they have and care for.

Fourth--Women have the right to participate in the matters of the community and have charge if they are free and democratically elected.

Fifth--Women and their children have the right to Primary Attention in their health and nutrition.

Sixth--Women have the right to education.

Seventh--Women have the right to choose their partner and are not obliged to enter into marriage.

Eighth--Women have the right to be free of violence from both relatives and strangers. Rape and attempted rape will be severely punished.

Ninth--Women will be able to occupy positions of leadership in the organization and hold military ranks in the revolutionary armed forces.

Tenth--Women will have all the rights and obligations which the revolutionary laws and regulations give.

Urban Reform Law
In the urban zones controlled by the ZNCF, the following laws will be enacted in order to ensure dignified housing for all dispossessed families:

First: The inhabitants of the zone who own their own homes or apartments will stop paying all taxes.

Second: The inhabitants of the zone who pay rent, and have resided in the same dwelling for more than 15 years, will stop paying rent to the owner of the property until the revolutionary government triumphs and new legislation is enacted.

Third: The inhabitants of the zone who pay rent, and have resided in the same dwelling for fewer than 15 years, will pay only 10% of the salary earned by the head of the family as rent, and will not pay at all after having resided in the dwelling for 15 years.

Fourth: Urban lots that already have public services will be opened for immediate occupation in order that dwellings may be constructed on said lots--even if the dwellings are only of a provisional nature. The freely and democratically elected authorities will be notified of these occupations.

Fifth: Vacant public buildings and large mansions will be provisionally occupied by families, who will divide the buildings among themselves. In order to facilitate this, the civil authorities will appoint neighborhood committees that will decide on requests that are presented to them and will grant living space on the basis of need and available resources

Labor Law & Industry and Commerce Law
Labor Law: Additions to the Present Law
The following laws will be added to the current National Labor Law in the zones controlled by the ZNCF.

First: Foreign companies will pay their workers an hourly salary in national money equivalent to what would be payed in dollars outside the country.

Second: National companies will increase their workers' salaries monthly, by a percentage determined by a local Prices and Salaries Commission. Said Commission will be composed of representatives of the workers, settlers, land-owners, business people and the freely and democratically elected authorities. The reduction of current salaries will in no way be permitted.

Third: All workers in the countryside and the cities will receive free medical care in any public or private health center, hospital or clinic. The medical costs will be covered by the employers.

Fourth: Every worker will have a right to a certain amount of non-transferable stock in the company for which they work, the exact quantity to be determined by the number of years that the worker has worked for the company--this in addition to their current pensions. The monetary value of said stock will be used for the worker's retirement, by his wife or by his beneficiary.

Industry and Commerce Law
First: The prices of basic products will be regulated by a local Prices and Salaries Commission. Said Commission will be composed of workers, settlers, land owners, merchants and the freely and democratically-elected authorities. Increases in the prices of basic products cannot, in any way, be more than increases in salaries.

Second: The hoarding of any product is prohibited. Hoarders will be detained and turned over to the military authorities, accused of sabotage and treason to the country.

Third: The commerce of a given region should be able to ensure the provision of tortillas and bread for all in time of war.

Fourth: The industries and businesses that the landowners consider unproductive, and attempt to close in order to carry away the machinery and raw materials, will be passed to the management of the workers, and the machinery will become the property of the nation.

Justice Law
First: All prisoners in all prisons will be liberated, except those guilty of murder, rape and the leaders of drug-trafficking operations.

Second: All government officials, from the level of the municipal president up to the Council, will be subject to audit, and will be judged for misappropriation of funds in cases where evidence of guilt is found.

Revolutionary Agrarian Law
The poor campesinos' movement in Zambistan demands the return of the land to those who work it and, in the tradition of Emiliano Zapata and in opposition to the reforms to Article 27 of the Zambistan Constitution, the ZNCF again takes up the just struggle of rural Zambistan for land and freedom. With the object of standardizing the new agrarian distribution enacted by the revolution throughout Zambistan territory, the following Revolutionary Agrarian Law is issued:

First: This law is valid in all Zambi territory, and benefits all poor campesinos and Zambi agricultural laborers regardless of their political affiliation, religious creed, sex, race, or color.

Second: This law affects all agricultural properties and agro/livestock businesses inside of Zambi territory, whether they are national or foreign-owned.

Third: All poor-quality land in excess of 100 hectares and all good-quality land in excess of 50 hectares will be subject to the Revolutionary Agrarian Law. The landowners whose lands exceed the aforementioned limits will have the excess taken away from them, and they will be left with the minimum permitted by this law. They may remain as small landholders or join the cooperative campesinos' movement, campesino societies, or communal lands.

Fourth: Communally held land and the land of popular cooperatives will not be subject to agrarian reform, even though they exceed the limits mentioned in the third article of this law.

Fifth: The lands affected by this agrarian law will be distributed to the landless campesinos and the agricultural laborers who thus request it as collective property for the formation of cooperatives, campesino societies or agricultural production/livestock collectives. The affected lands should be worked collectively.

Sixth: The collectives of poor, landless campesinos and agricultural laborers-men, women, and children without land title, or who have land of poor quality-will have the right to be the first to request land.

Seventh: In order to better cultivate the land for the benefit of the poor campesinos and the agricultural laborers, the expropriation of large estates and agricultural/livestock monopolies will include the expropriation of means of production such as machinery, fertilizer, stores, financial resources, chemical products and technical expertise. All of these means should pass into the hands of the poor campesinos and agricultural laborers, with special attention given to groups organized in cooperatives, collectives and societies.

Eighth: The groups that benefit from this agrarian law should dedicate themselves to the collective production of necessary foodstuffs for the Zambi people: corn, beans, rice, vegetables and fruit, as well as to the raising of cattle, bees, pigs and horses, and to the production of animal-derived products (meat, milk, eggs, etc.).

Ninth: In time of war, a portion of the products of the lands affected by this law will be designated for the sustenance of orphans and widows of revolutionary combatants, and to the support of the revolutionary forces.

Tenth: The purpose of collective production is primarily to satisfy the people's needs, to instill in those who benefit from this law a consciousness of collective work and benefit, and to create production, defense and mutual-aid units in the Zambi countryside. When a region doesn't produce some product, it will trade justly and equally with another region where it is produced. Excess production can be exported to other countries if there is no national demand for the product.

Eleventh: Large agricultural businesses will be expropriated and passed to the hands of the Zambi people, and will be administered collectively by the workers of those businesses. The cultivation machinery, seeds, etc. that are sitting idle in factories and businesses will be distributed among rural collectives, with the objective of making the land fertile and ending the hunger of the people.

Twelfth: Individual hoarding of land and the means of production will not be permitted.

Thirteenth: Zones of virgin jungle and swamp will be preserved. There will be reforestation campaigns in the principal zones.

Fourteenth: The riverheads, rivers, lakes and oceans are the collective property of the Zambi people, and they will be cared for by not polluting them and by punishing their misuse.

Fifteenth: In order to benefit the poor, landless campesinos and agricultural workers, in addition to the agrarian redistribution established by this law, commercial centers will be created to buy the campesinos' products at a fair price and to sell to them, at a fair price, goods that the campesino needs for a dignified life. Also, community health centers will be created with every benefit of modern medicine, with capable and conscientious doctors and nurses, and with free medical care for the people. Recreation centers will be created for the campesinos and their families so that they may rest in dignity without the need for bars or bordellos. Educational centers and free schools will be created where the campesinos and their families can receive an education, regardless of their age, sex, race or political affiliation, and where they can learn the techniques necessary for their development. Housing and road construction centers will be established with engineers, architects, and the necessary materials for the campesinos' dignified housing and the construction of good roads for transportation. Service centers will be created in order to guarantee potable water, drainage, electricity, radio and television, in addition to everything necessary for housework: stoves, refrigerators, lavatories, mills, etc.

Sixteenth: The campesinos who work collectively will not be taxed. Nor will the ejidos, cooperatives or communal lands be taxed. From the moment that this Revolutionary Agrarian Law is implemented, all debts--whether they are from credit, taxes, or loans--that are owed by the poor campesinos or agricultural workers to the oppressive government, to foreigners or to capitalists, are forgiven.

Law of Rights and Obligations of Peoples in Struggle
In its liberatory advance through Zambi territory, and in the struggle against the government and against the large national and foreign exploiters, the EZLN will implement, with the help of the people engaged in struggle, the following Law of Rights and Obligations of Peoples in Struggle:

First: The peoples in struggle against the oppressor government and the large national and foreign exploiters, without regard to their political affiliation, religious creed, race or color, will have the following rights:

A: To choose, freely and democratically, the authorities of whatever type they consider convenient, and to demand that they be respected.

B: To demand that the revolutionary armed forces not intervene in matters of civil order or the disposition of capital relating to agriculture, commerce, finances, and industry, as these are the exclusive domain of the civil authorities, elected freely and democratically.

C: To organize and exercise armed defense of their collective and private goods, as well as to organize and exercise the vigilance of public order and good government according to the popular will.

D: To demand that the revolutionary armed forces guarantee the safety of people, families and private and collective property of neighbors or transients, when these people are not enemies of the revolution.

E: The inhabitants of every population have the right to acquire and possess arms to defend their persons, families and property, according to the laws of disposition of capital of farms, commerce, finance and industry, against the armed attacks committed by the revolutionary forces or those of the government. By the same token, they are fully authorized to make use of those arms against whatever person or group of people assaults their homes, the honor of their families, or attempt to commit robberies or attacks of whatever form against their persons. This is valid only for those who are not enemies of the revolution.

Second: The civil authorities of whatever type, who are elected democratically, will have, in addition to the previous rights and the attributions that are signalled by the respective revolutionary laws, the following rights:

A: They will be able to imprison, disarm and turn in to the Commands anyone they find robbing, raiding or looting any home or committing any other violation, for which they will receive their deserved punishment, even if they are a member of the revolutionary armed forces. The same procedures will be employed against those who commit any violation, even if they are not caught in the act, if their guilt is sufficiently demonstrated.

B: They will have the right that, for their conduct, revolutionary taxes be imposed as established by the War Tax Law.

Third: Peoples in struggle against the oppressor government and the great national and foreign exploiters, without regard to their political affiliation, religious creed, race or color, will have the following obligations:

A: To give their services in works of vigilance, according to majority will or the military necessities of revolutionary war.

B: To respond to calls for help made by the democratically elected authorities, the revolutionary armed forces or by any revolutionary military person in cases of urgency, to combat the enemy.

C: To lend their services as mail deliverers or guides to the revolutionary armed forces.

D: To lend their services to carry food to the revolutionary troops when they are combatting the enemy.

E: To lend their services to transport wounded, bury cadavers or other similar works tied to the cause and interests of the revolution.

F: To give food and lodging to the revolutionary forces that are guarding or passing through the respective populations, to the degree that they are able.

G: To pay taxes and contributions established by the War Tax Law and other Revolutionary Laws.

H: They should not help in any way the enemy, nor give them articles of primary necessity.

I: To dedicate themselves to legitimate work.

Fourth: The civil authorities, of whatever type elected democratically, will, in addition to the previous obligations, have the following obligations:

A: To regularly report to the civil population on the activities under their command and the origin and destination of all of the material resources and human posts in their administration.

B: To regularly inform the respective Command of the revolutionary armed forces of any events that occur in their area.

Instructions to Leaders and Officials of the ZNCF
The following orders are obligatory for all leaders and officials of troops under the control the Zambistan National Capitalist Front.

First: You will operate according to the orders that you receive from the General Command or from the Commands of the Front Line.

Second: The leaders and officials who are in military operations in isolated zones or with difficulties in communicating with the Commands should carry out their military work, combatting the enemy constantly, according to their own initiative, taking care to advance the revolution in the places where they find themselves working.

Third: You will submit a War Dispatch whenever possible, or at least monthly, to the respective Commands.

Fourth: You will endeavor to preserve, as much as possible, good order among the troops, especially when you enter populaces, guaranteeing in full the lives and interests of the inhabitants who are not enemies of the revolution.

Fifth: To aid the troops in their material necessities to the degree possible, you should impose war contributions on the businesses or property-holders who find themselves in the zones where you are operating, but only if they have important capital according to the War Tax Law and the Revolutionary Laws that affect commercial, agricultural, financial and industrial capital.

Sixth: The material funds that are gathered by these means will be employed strictly for the material necessities of the troops. The leader or official who takes any of these funds for his personal benefit will be taken prisoner and judged according to the rules of the ZNCF by a revolutionary military tribunal.

Seventh: For the feeding of the troops, pasture of the horses, and fuel and repair of the vehicles, you should direct yourselves to the democratically elected authorities of the place in question. This authority will gather what they can from among the civilian population, for the material necessities of the Zambi military unit, and will hand them in to the leader or official of the highest rank in said military unit, and only to him.

Eighth: Only those officials with the rank of Major or higher will change authorities in those places that fall under the power of the revolution, according to the will of the people, and according to available and relevant sections of the Law of Revolutionary Government.

Ninth: The people, in general, will take possession of their goods according to what is established in the Revolutionary Laws. The leaders and officials of the ZNCF will give to these people their moral and material support, with the goal of carrying out what is set out in these Revolutionary Laws, whenever the same people request this help.

Tenth: Absolutely no one will be able to have meetings or treaties with the oppressor government or with its representatives without the prior authorization of the General Command of the ZNCF.

War Tax Law
In the zones controlled by the ZNCF the following War Tax Law will be instituted and will be made to function with all of the moral, political and military force of our revolutionary organization.

First: The War Tax Law will apply from the moment that a military unit of the ZNCF begins to operate in a specific territory.

Second: The War Tax Law affects all of the civilian, national or foreign populations residing in or passing through said territory.

Third: The War Tax Law is not obligatory for the civilian population that lives by its own resources, without exploiting any labor whatsoever and without obtaining any advantage from the people. For poor campesinos, day workers, workers, employees, the unemployed, participation in this law is voluntary and in no way will they be obligated morally or physically to subject themselves to this law.

Fourth: The War Tax Law is obligatory for those in the civilian population who live by exploitation, by force or through work or who obtain some advantage over the people in their activities. Those small, medium and large capitalists of the countryside and the city can be obligated to obey this law without exception, in addition to submitting themselves to the Revolutionary Laws affecting agricultural, commercial, financial and industrial capital.

Fifth: The following percentages of taxes will be established, according to the work of each person:

A: For small commercial businesses, small property holders, workshops and small industries, 7% of their monthly income. In no way will their means of production be affected by the collection of this tax.

B: For professional people, 10% of their monthly income. In no way will materials strictly necessary for the exercising of their profession be affected.

C: For medium-size property-holders, 15% of their monthly income. Their property will be affected according to the respective Revolutionary Laws of agricultural, commercial, financial and industrial capital.

D: For large capitalists, 20% of their monthly income. Their property will be affected according to the respective Revolutionary Laws of agricultural, commercial, financial and industrial capital.

Sixth: All of the goods seized from the armed forces of the enemy will be property of the ZNCF.

Seventh: All of the goods recuperated by the revolution from the hands of the oppressor government will be the property of the revolutionary government according to the laws of the revolutionary government.

Eighth: All taxes and burdens imposed by the oppressor government will be ignored, such as those debts of money or goods that the exploited people of the country and the city find themselves obligated to pay by those governing or by capitalists.

Ninth: All of the war taxes recovered by the revolutionary armed forces or by the organized people will become the collective property of the respective populations, and will be administered according to the popular will by the democratically elected civil authorities, giving to the ZNCF only what is necessary to contribute to the material necessities of the regular troops, and for the continuation of the liberatory movement according to the Law of Rights and Obligations of Peoples in Struggle.

Tenth: No civil or military authority, whether it be of the oppressor government or of the revolutionary forces, will take for personal or family benefit any part of these war taxes.

Law of Rights and Obligations of the Revolutionary Armed Forces
The revolutionary armed forces of the ZNCF, in their struggle against the oppressor government and the great national and foreign exploiters, and in its liberatory advance over the Zambi territory, commit themselves to the carrying out and enforcement of the following Law of Rights and Obligations of the Revolutionary Armed Forces:

First: The revolutionary troops of the ZNCF in their combat against the oppressor will have the following rights:

A: The troops that pass through a village will have the right to receive from the people, through the democratically elected civil authorities, lodging, food and the means to accomplish their military missions, according to the means of the inhabitants.

B: The troops that, by orders of the respective commands, are garrisoned in a place, will have the right to receive lodging, food, and means according to what is established in section (A) of this article.

C: The leaders, officials or soldiers who observe that some authority does not fulfill what is established by the Revolutionary Laws, and lack popular approval, will have the right to denounce this authority to the revolutionary government.

Second: The revolutionary troops of the ZNCF, in their combat against the oppressor, have the following obligations:

A: To make sure that those peoples who have not named, freely and democratically, their authorities, proceed immediately to free elections of the same, without the intervention of the armed forces, which under the responsibility of their military orders, will let the population work without any pressure whatsoever.

B: To respect the civil authorities elected freely and democratically.

C: To not intervene in civil matters, and to let the civil authorities work freely on these matters.

D: To respect legal commerce that obeys the respective Revolutionary Laws.

E: To respect the agricultural redistribution carried out by the revolutionary government.

F: To respect the rules, customs and agreements of the people and to submit themselves to them in cases of civil-military relations.

G: To charge no taxes to the population, in no way and under no pretext, for the use of its land and waters.

H: To not take over, for personal use, the lands of the people, or of the estates taken away from the oppressor.

I: To obey all of the laws and rules issued by the revolutionary government.

J: To not demand personal services or works of personal benefit from the civilian population.

K: To report those subordinates who commit any crime, imprison them, and remit them to a revolutionary military tribunal, so that they may receive their deserved punishment.

L: To respect civil justice.

M: The leaders and officials will be responsible before the respective Commands for the abuses or crimes of subordinates who are not remitted to revolutionary military tribunals.

N: To dedicate yourselves to making war against the enemy until they are definitively removed from the territory in question or are annihilated.

The city of Frik was a raging battleground, the local mafia and a few members of the army tearing the city apart. The "reds" as they were called had nearly 30 artillery pieces outside the city, shelling where ever they were told to. Inside the fighting was much more chaotic. Everybody in Zambistan was throughly trained in urban combat, because they needed to be to simply survive in a city.

Men in suits, bandannas, and torn uniforms were killing at least one revolutionary for every step back, but thier numbers were already being cut down. Tanks now streamed in, shelling sniper locations and massed foes. Planes flew outside the city, picking off re-enforcements and keeping the battle in the revolutionaries favor.

All together the city was cleared in eight hours, the bodies of criminals and capitalists alike burning. Atop the highest building they flew thier flag, marking the city down as "liberated." Civillians had abandoned the city, but the revolutionary commanders were sure they would come back.

All was not happy however, as news of a large pro-government force coming from the capital had reached thier ears. It was this force would be ambushed before they could reach the desert, and instead would be made to fight in the mudlands.

On the sea, the full force of the Red Navy was being sent to the Island of Arranas. It was unclear if the pirate infested island would give up, or if the reds would be in for years of guerilla warfare. Word had come down from the barber himself no mercy was to be given if they refused to surrender, and the use of Agent Orange and Agent Blue had been greenlighted.

The Red Navy may have consisted of only one carrier, two frigates and 4 interdiction crafts, but no naval units were stationed at Arranas. The reason was simple: they would be stolen. In fact the only real threat for the Red Navy was that during the night they would be boarded by pirates and robbed. But they would prevail. They had to. If they were defeated at Arranas it would spell the end of the revolution.

Frisco, Ermac, and now Wendell were occupied. The inhabitants of the three cities had staged a nearly bloodless coup, thier region even more inhospitable and impovrished then the Sandy Desert. Military forces were few in the region, but still...it was three less cities that had to burn.

The government was in full swing now, suspending all rights and closing all borders. Members of either the Revolutionary Nationalism Party and the Zambistan National Capitalist Front were considered enemies of the state and were to be killed on sight.

The government had other worries then just the revolutionaries however. It was getting harder to convince the navy to sail against the Red Navy, or to convince warriors to fight against thier comrades. Indeed, the also had to watche thier own back. Yallak could attack at any moment and make Zambistan a province, even Gataway could make a move against her neighbor. So, rather then use the full force of the military on the revolutionaries, a few were kept on the border to keep up apperances.

Four men men sat around a table, one a general, one a pirate, one a member of the Bagel Union gang, and one a drug trafficer. The room was barely lit by the one lamp above, and the room was completely bare. Each had a paper in front of them, displaying statistics, a map, and several other images.

"What shall be done then?" said the general. The gang member spoke first.

"My units can steal a few ZNCF uniforms, and terrorize the occupied areas. I can also ensure that any ZNCF or RNP member who can be identified will no longer have a family to fight for."

"Good. You?" The drug trafficer was nervous, but spoke up.

"I don't know...my opium fields in the desert have been burned. All I can do now is invest my money in our operations." The pirate stood up.

"Look, why are we even discussing this? This place is unsafe. I saw we take what documents we need, burn the rest, and head towards Arranas. I can assure you Arranas, who is far richer then the mainland, will NOT fall to these....these...glorified communists! We must hurry however, before the red ships get there!"

The general made no move. He could abandon all power on the mainland, which would ensure the insurgents victory, but be assured of establishing a strong defense on Arranas. Or he could stay here, marshall what forces he had left, and do or die.

"Here is what we'll do..."

300 T-310 Light Tanks, 40 M-409 Punisher Dual Barrel Self-Propelled Howitzers, and 150 RG-1's baralled towards the Sandy desert. They were unsure of exactly what they were fighting for, but knew they couldn't allow the reds to win. They had ammunition, fuel, and guts and they were willing to die

They remembered how the crowds had cheered them in Gommorah, how their wives and girlfriends had given them a night they would always remember, and they also thought about the punishment if failure.

With renewed speed they drove towards the insurgents...

"Commander Marks!"

"Yes, private?"

"We are about 5 min. away from reaching the Port of Kadath."

"Excellent. Prepare to dock."

"Yes sir!"

Commander Marks, one of Ruckinia's newest commanders, does feel nervous, yet does not show it. He has been ordered to aid the ZNCF in their cause. With 1,200 of Ruckinia's foot soldiers to reinforce the ZNCF, Marks believes that this will be a swift opperation, though he does still have that nervous feeling...

At the Port of Kadath, the sounds of Transport ships can be heard. All reaching the Port with haste. The soldiers quickly depart from the ships, as does Marks.

"You know your orders, men!" yells Marks, "Stay here until the ZNCF arrive."

The surroundings... Chaos... Utter chaos... Dead men lie in the streets and buildings are blazing in a huge conflagration... Yet the soldiers seem unmoved by this horrific sight. As if they have no fear.

Marks and his soldiers wait for the ZNCF...

A truck with a 50cal in the back of it screeched towards the docks. On it flew the flag of the ZNCF and inside were three political officers, they stopped short of the docks and ran the rest of the way, picking throught the bodies and trying not to get blood on themselves.

"Comrades!" they yelled. "Welcome to the Liberated City of Kadath!" The officers shook the hands of the leader of the Ruckinian troops. "Good to see some kind of support. For a minute I thought all of Mederterranica didn't give a damn! Please, where are my manners. I'm Commissar Xotn Greateye, this is Lt. Szem Bonerot and Lt. Dbux Metaleater." The officers greeted each other, and Greateye's tone became deeper.

"I hope you don't mind immidiate deployment, as we have a large force coming this way. They had news of your arrival, and I believe they want to discourage others from helping. They'll be striking from the south east, and we have enough buses to bring your troops there."

"We have been harassing them with the few aircraft we have, and have brought thier numbers down a little. All we know is its a mechanized division hailing from Kenwood, which means they are masters of urban combat."

"If you have any questions, please ask. Otherwise you can come with us to the front!"

"South east, eh? Do you know about any enemy reinforcements? Their numbers? Never mind that. That can wait until we are on the buses."

Marks orders his men into the buses and they drive off into the desolate, ruined wastland off in the distance.

"As I said earlier, Commissar Xotn Greateye, do you know any other information about these forces? Any strategies?"

"We do know that this is thier 'do or die' attack. They figure if they beat us here, the movement will fall, but if they lose, they believe they have lost for good. Thier tactics are standard: bomb the hell out of the city for a couple of days and then rush in to clean up. However it is we who shall meet them."

"Intelligence states that they will stop a good 4 miles away from the city to get the artillery ready. We however shall be attacking them from a long distance. Our tanks and artillery will move forward-"

Boom, Boom, Boom

"Well then. It appears our artillery has already struck. That means they'll be heading for the city. Right then. Thier tactics are just going to be barelling towards us and hoping they win."

Commissar Greateye and his Lt.'s jumped back into the truck "Hop in!" In a moment all four were speeding down the roads of Kadath towards the southeast corner of the city. Already Ground Support aircraft were screeching across the sky towards the government foes.

Towards the edge of the city a massive column of tanks, artillery, and APC's rushed towards them. The artillery had stopped and had begun the shelling, while the light tanks were flying forwards. 3 exploded as gattling guns from above ripped it to pieces.

"Get your head down! Tell your troops to wait until the APC's come in! Tell them to take cover!"

The events unfolding within Zambistan have the Republic quite concerned, especially with the recent business between our nations have undergone. In the spirit of goodwill, the Aequatian Republic Air Force (ARAF) would be able to deploy an Expeditionary Air Group to your country to support your forces in fighting the revolutionaries. All that is required is an airbase with the facilities to hold over three hundred aircraft and 1,500 combat and support personnel.

"MEN! Take cover and wait for the APCs to arrive! Hold your fire!"

The soldiers do as they are told and they rush to the nearest safe spot to hide. The artillery of the enemy tanks sound like the thunder in a storm, yet the nearby explosions constantly reminds Marks and his men that this is no blissful dream of calm storms, yet a nightmare that threatens every mans life. Marks looks at his men, and they look unshaken... unmoved... What brave men...

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

Minutes pass by.

"When the hell are the APCs going to get here!?"

Not a moment too soon, marks sees a fleet off metal vehicles in the distance. A nearby soldier yells to Marks, "Are those the APCs?"

Marks grins, "I believe so..."


Yet the artillery keeps firing... The undaunting sound of explosions, like the drums of war. BOOM! BOOOM! BOOM! The APCs may have arrived, but that does not mean that the battle has ended.

"Men! Get ready to board those APCs!"

The apc's were hidden behind a wedge of light tanks, whos cannons went blazing into the nearest rebel armor. The rebel tanks responded in tow, although tried to aim for the infantry more. The government tanks showed no signs of slowing down, and collided with a few tanks. So far the rebel tanks were outnumbered 3 to 1, and were suffering greatly. As the tanks raged the apc's shot up the infantry they could find with thier 50 cals, leaving only bits and pieces of insurgents. From above sinpers unloaded upon the infantry that now disembarked, hoping to kill as many as possible. Still, with over 100 150 RG-1's, they spilled forth near 160 foot soldiers to due battle.

Overhead the support aircraft unloaded on the tanks still waiting to enter the city with thier AGM-65 Maverick Anti-Tank Missilesand Rockeye Cluster Bombs. The government forces brought no anti-air units with them, and were deeply regreting it.

"Take cover, return fire," demanded Marks. And the soldiers did so. Each soldier did as they were told. The firing of their M16A4 Assault Rifles send shivers down the enemy's infantry's spine. The barrage of bullets hitting most everything. A group of Ruckinian snipers run to the highest point that they could find and begin to rain a deadly stream of bullets down on the enemy's infantry.

"Sir," said a wounded soldier, "we can't find the enemy snipers! They are picking us off one by one!"

"Christ... We need to take out those enemy snipers."

Marks radios the Ruckinian snipers to search for the enemy snipers and kill them. "Found one," said private James, a professional Ruckinian sniper, "You're all mi--" A bullet went through his head, killing him instantly.

As the Ruckinian snipers hunted for the enemy snipers, the foot soldiers began to advance. Through the artillery, the bullets, the carnage. They push forward, knowing it's either kill... or be killed... The constant firing of their M16A4 Assault Rifles, the determination to help the ZNCF, the sorrow in their hearts from their lost comrades...

Bodies began to litter the streets as the enemy rained artillery on the ZNCF's and Ruckinian forces.

We need those goddamn reinforcements thought Marks. Where are they!?

"Incoming!!!!"

BOOOOOM!!!

Artillery shells landed right outside the city, ripping through the royalist tanks. Thier infantry was nearly wiped out, but they still had plenty of tanks to fight with. Slowly the tanks pulled back, getting out of range of the infantry. As fast as they tried, 5 tanks still were wrecked during the retreat.

Rather then giving the battle up they simply moved a mile back, and darted in and out to fire upon the infantry and tanks. The artillery continued to rain fire upon the rebels, reducing them to only 34 tanks. The order was given to both the ZNCF and the Ruckinian forces: hide now. The shells were too much, and they were losing too many men.

It was made clear to Marks over the radio that while the infantry and tanks hid for a moment, the planes would continue to attack the government forces, hopefully taking some of the artillery. The battle slackened a bit, each side taking a breather, and so far the government with the superior forces.

Briano Sicilo pasted his office. He had had a rough day with the Senate, they were almost divided in half over the appropriate actions. His two advisors proposed two different things. They were complete opposite plans. One was to form a new Zambistani government. The other was to support this revolution. He sighed. He had to make a descision- fast. He also couldn't upset Aequatio- they had only been accepted into GASN several days earlier. In the end, he combined the plans. Ruckinia would easily be shoved aside. He had decided, and was about to consult congress, when...

Two men popped in his office. It was his top advisor and head general.

"Sorry for the lack of appointment Sir, I came running."

He sighed, somewhat annoyed.

"What is it?" he drawled.

"S4- Our spy wing- should be fitted for the job. They could easily take out this revolution, install a new democracy- without a single soldier deployed."

"S4- You mean the codename for Military Surveillance 4? The spies?"

"Yes."

"Excellent idea. We shall crush this rebellion- and if needed, Ruckinia, to install a government that suits us. We'll alert Aequatio, tell them of the situtuation, send them a nice card asking for limited intervention, yada yada yada. We move in, after our assasins kill the rebellion, then install a new government. If some little third world country gets in our way, the Ruckinians face the same fate. If Aequatio opposes- we do nothing."

The Island of Arranas, the new home of the pro-government forces. Tonight was a special night indeed. A dinner was to be held with local authorities, military men, and most importantly a Italian diplomat. This dinner was to inspire confidence, and assure thier neighbors Zambistan would be quite alright. In fact, even if the revolution did win, they could assure that the island would seceed and prosper without her, as long as the men at this dinner party were still alive and kicking. Of course if the italians helped....

Anywho it was a fine dinner. Rare and exotic dishes galore, the four members of the board were all here, although you'd never guess it. The pirate, drug runner, and gang member were all dressed in suits, although the gang member was wearing the slightest bit of green, still flying his colors.

The dinner atmosphere was anxious, as they waited for the real guest of honor to arrive.

"Report. How many known Ruckinian casualties?"

"390, sir."

Marks sighs. "Christ... Maybe... we sh--"

"SIR! The enemy has ceased fire!"

"Excellent. Maybe there is a chance."

Marks orders two groups of 40 soldiers to take flanking positions for the enemy infantry. They go off down the street, staying hidden and praying they don't get hit by a stray artillery shell. Luckily, they made it into position, in the ally way of a few, still standing, buildings. Hiding... Waiting...

The planes overhead continued to attack the government's forces, one tank at a time. The government's infantry push forward... right into the flanking trap. The two groups of Ruckinian soldiers being to attack, disorenting the enemy's troops. Mowing them down. The carnage...

However... This drew the attention of the artillery... The government's artillery aimed... aaaaand... BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! The Ruckinian groups were obliterated...

The government has superior forces... All the Ruckinian's and the ZNCF have is hope for those reinforcements to arrive... Only a tactical mastermind can pull this off...

55 Super J-10Ns belonging to the Northern Baltic's 4th battlefleet traveled low over the coast heading towerds the battle. While they were on their way to the battle, a messege was sent to the rebellion HQ. It read:

We have heard much about your movement to install a democratic government in Zambistan. After reviewing your demands for woman's equality and such, we have decided to support you militarily. We cannot and will not let the enemies of freedom prevail.

Meanwhile a fleet of 10 Delta IV submarines and 35 Amur 1850 submarines proceeded towerds the island controlled by the former government of Zambistan. Once the Delta IV Submarines were in range, they opened their missile hatches and prepared to fire.
"Send a messege to the damn government and tell them if they do not end hostilites, we will open fire."
"Yes sir. Sent it sir."

"Commander Marks!"

"What is it now!?"

"Reinforcements have arrived!"

"Thank god..."

Commissar Greateye reported back to Marks: "Look to the North!"

Heavy Bombers.

Finally the Red Navy had diverted back to Kadath, and the carrier was finally flexing it's might. As the bombs dropped upon the artillery, fire completely stopped. 10 bombers wiped them out completely, as combat support bi-planes came around yet again, this time usuing their AGM-65 Maverick Anti-Tank Missiles to thier full extent.

Pieces of metal rained everywhere, the shrapnel even ripping into the red infantry. Still, the tanks were now in a full retreat, showing thier backsides to the mercy of the advancing rebels. With only 6 tanks, the rebels were still outnumbered by 17, but the government forces knew they would eventually die.

And frankly old Zambistan just wasn't worth it.

Rather then return to Kenwood, they simply headed for the Mudlands, hoping to the gods they wouldn't be found. With a "Hurrah" the rebel forces celebrated, thier few tanks chasing the government forces for a mile. Still, Kadath's forces were horribly weakened, and they knew another group like that COULD be sent, and they would be destroyed by it.

The bombers had no bombs, the tanks were nearly out of fuel, but at least the ammunition was abundant.

"Marks, come in. Come to 48th street, we've set up a makeshift command center. Here your men can get rest, and we can plan the next step."

So, we gather the forces all over the west and east, and get them to converege on where the most government forces are: Gommorah.

Word is they're just holing up in there, trying to wait for re-enforcements. We have to strike before they can get them! We march as soon as we can. What do you think? Im open to suggestion."

"What do I think? If our tanks are fueled, our bombers ready for bombing, our soldiers ready to attack, than by god, what are we waiting for? Let's move out. I believe our troops are ready. What do you say, comrade?"

My nation is PMT.) near that Kadeth place- It seems the battle has more or less ended there, so it should be alright. Then, depending on what the scouts report- We may or may not choose to add more support."

The Red Army and Airforce list read off proudly. From the east and west the two forces converged just south of the city, taking a full day just to get together and get 10 miles out from the city. With red banners flying the army got into place. As the bombers smashed the capital, the artillery crept within range, and the tanks drove slightly ahead of them. Most troops would have to march, but the Ruckinians were to be loaded into the RG-31 infantry fighting vechicles, and were to travel to the front.

Their vechicles had an anti-tank capability, and the Ruckinians were given one RPG per RG-31. It would be they who would lead these vechicles into battle, and the many commissars were quite interested in what they would do.

As the bombers returned back, the battle began. Artillery opened up and the tanks lurched forward at full speed. The troops, which had already begun marching, were only 4 miles from the city of Gommorah.

The city was not defenseless however. Nearly 2,000 tanks, 500 artillery pieces and thousands of infantry were dug into the city. Thier artillery began firing into the tanks that seemed to get closer with each nano-second.

The terrain was difficult: the mudlands were just that...mud. No soil, no rock, just mud and rivers. Infantry slogged through, and planes had to land and refuel in the desert. The only solid ground was in the city, and the government forces were using it to thier advantage.

The Battle for Gommorah had begun.

The drop pods were ready and the 20 Extremists entered, Four per pod. The coordinates were locked- Fields Near Kadath. As the pods prepped for launch, a cry was heard.

"STOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOPPPPP!"

The launching officer nearly chocked on his own saliva, and aborted the drop sequence. A man, exhausted, burst through the drop bay door and ran to the officer.

"A message just came in, sir. There's nothing going on at Kadath, but word just came in that a place called Gomorrah was under siege by the revolutionaries. Orders from the FC say that we're to drop behind the Rovollutionaries' artillery pieces, and try and come in contact with their leaders. He also said that after the main drop, we'll be sending in some Tacticals and Sergeants."

The Officer looked confused, and agreed. With new coordinates locked, and the launch sequence reaching zero, 5 drop pods filled with 4 Extremists fell from the air and created what looked like a shooting star to someone on the ground.

The artillery had opened up, and screaming shells were descending to Gommorah in the morning light. All the cannons were firing, and all the bombers dropped thier deadly payloads upon the capital. The tanks slowly advanced, going right through the small rivers and acres of mud. The Ruckinians were ordered to follow behind the tanks, and disgorge their contents when inside the city. The ZNCF infantry marched, as their eyes fell upon the hell hole they were about to enter.

The city had been mined apprantly, as tanks began to blow up before even reaching the city limits. Still, thier were only a few, and within 30 minutes they had all exploded, taking with them 17 tanks. The government forces had ordered thier units to simply wait for the rebels to enter the city, and give 'em hell when they do. When the tanks and infantry vechicles had entered range, government artillery opened fire, pulverizing the rbels armor.

Combat Support aircraft however now had a lock on the artillery pieces, and ripped them to pieces, using thier entire arsenal to do so.

Then came Order 66.

The Bombers were to fly yet, again but with a new package. As they cast thier shadows upon the ground, all eyes looked up, and those same eyes opened when they saw what occured. Bombs, but peculiar bombs. They exploded but...something was wrong...

Fire.

The city was burning with massive amounts of Thermite, burning at the heat of molten lava. The rebel infantry stopped in thier tracks, watching as people threw themselves out of buildings to stave off the flames. Many were civillians. The Commissars ordered the men to continue thier march. Many asked "Are we to fight in an inferno?" The answer seemed to be yes.

Computers would later say the Thermite was burning nearly 76% of the city, but to the average warrior, it seemed like the end of the world. The cries of women and children could be heard on the wind, over the sounds of cannons and shells.

Yes, the tanks and artillery were still firing. Men were taken aback by the lack of mercy, the horribleness of war Pieces of the burning buildings fell on vechicles and people, sometimes even the revolutions own. Men in tanks were baked alive, unable to escape. Somewhere among the battle was the Barber, driving his own tank, and bringing war to the foes of the revolution.

But most shocking of all, was that the government forces did not surrender. Yes, they would make the revolutionaries experiance what they had wrought. Come, shoot a man who's skin is falling off. realize you do it to put him out of his misery, rather then hate. Look upon the monuments, the Arena still in construction, the curches, the schools. Your homes!

But the battle pressed on. Finally the tanks enetred the city streets, sniper fire bouncing of thier hulls. What a war, what a battle. Even though it had only just begun, the revolutionaries were sure it was worth it.

Lt. Victor Chuikov skillfully flew his Super J-10N over a group of loyalist troops and began opening fire with his machine guns. His wingman spotted a tank and used one of his anti-tank missiles to quickly dispatch it.

Now with Baltic forces attacking the city, a white flag was quickly raised. A roar of victory rose from among the revolutionary ranks, as artillery stopped thier shelling. Tanks and men now rushed towards the city, to provide aid for the dying, and disposal for the dead. A few pockets of resistance were quickly crushed, and in 8 hours the city had clamed quite a bit. Baltic forces were radioed to meet with The Barber himself, as was the leader of the Ruckinian forces. A command tent had been pitched outside Gommorah, and The Barber eagerly awaited the arrival of the herioc men who had helped capture Gommorah.

20 Mi-8 Helicopters escorted by Northern Baltic fighters headed towerds where they would meet the Barber. In the helicopters were the field commander(Marx Cromwell), fleet commander(Norman House), and air commander(Brenda Thrums) as well as hundreds of Northern Baltic elite troops that would preticipate in the final attack. Next to them flew several An-24 planes which were loaded with weapons(Ak-74s, RPG-7s, At-7s, Sa-7s, and GP-30s) as well as gasoline and plenty of cold hard cash. Several medium transports carrying more men and supplies were also on their way.

Marx Cromwell stepped out of the plane first followed by Brenda Thrums and then Norman House. The troops stood behind the three leaders as they moved to meet the Barber himself.

The sound of plane engines roared as the Gatawan high altitutde bombers along with other strike craft and escort fighters made their way towards their first target..a city named Frisco just across the border..their objective was simple total destruction of as many revolutionary forces as possible to make the ground offensive easier....350,000 troops with tanks artillery and other supporting units had already mobilized and began moving to cross the Zambistan border they were scheduled to cross shortly after the bombers hit their target....

The Gatawan army halted the thundering sounds of explosions could be heard in the distance it was now time for them to prepare for their assault..General Krrov stood over a table examining a map of the eastern deserts of Zambistan which would be the area of operations for the campign. Krrov's divsion commanders stood by awaiting the general's orders...

"Speed and mobility.. gentlemen is the key to success, we have the element of surprise now and the enemy positions will be soft by the time our airial bombardment is over..Order our mechanized units encircle the city to cut off their escape routes then the main force will hit the city from 3 sides at once and the rebels can surrender or be killed..Relay our situation to High command..you have your orders..now make it happen."

The divsion commanders simultanesouly replied with "Yes sir" and moved quickly to their respected posts

Shortly their after the sound of medium tanks and mobile APC stirke craft could be heard as the Gatawan ground forces moved to encircle the city while the artillery units deployed and prepared for a ground bombardment before the assault began. Frisco was under siege...

The masked barber was standing over a computer, showing a map of the country. He appeared to be speaking Yiddish with a few of his commanders when he noticed.

"Comrade Cromwel, so good to meet you. Your forces really helped in taking the capital." He shook Cromwel's hand. "We have much to discuss, and so little time to do it, eh? Lets get down to bussiness. The homeland is under attack by capitalist pig-dogs. Gatawayain forces have layed siege to the city of Frisco. For the moment, I ask that you move your forces quickly to defend Frisco, and prepare for a counter invasion. Another aid to the revolution shall take Arannas, for your excellent forces are needed in Frisco more then anywhere else. If I am correct, your ships are already en route to port-4. Keep them there, and prepare your naval forces for an assault of Gataway's coastal cities....." The barbers eyes darted back to his screen. "...burn them to the ground if you must."

The barber turned to another aide and gave him a written order, and the aide walked away. "I wish I could discuss more with you comrades...but there is so much to do!"

Frisco sat a quiet city, burning itself down. Inside the rebels were arming themselves for what they considered would be a very long fight. Thank the gods the WSP aid package had come and a little had been distributed before the Gataway Treachery. Improvised mines were being layed along the roads as the rebels dodged pieces of burning buildings. 300 Dragunov sniper rifles had been dispersied amongst the population, and snipers were hiding themselves quite well. Windows, schools, hospitals, homes, even churchs hid masked gunman waiting for a shot.

They had no armor, but plenty of guns, bombs, and ammo. Copies of the anarchist cookbook were flying everywhere, as recipies for napalm were downloaded and cooked up in cellars. Poisonious gases were being cooked up as well, thanks to the same book, and loaded into crude shells. The few mortars they did have, around 100, were to be used when the Gatawayians entered the city only. Tanks were not built for urban combat, and they could bomb all they wanted, but they still had to enter sometime. ML-20's were being hidden in rubble and alleyways, slowly being pointed towards the Gataway tanks, loaded with what few shalls the Friscos had. Each artillery piece had around 3 shells each, and would have to make them count. As the population grabbed thier rifles and hunkered down, they prayed for a quick death.

In Port-4 a relief force was already enroute, made up of all the WSP T-72BM's and plenty of artillery. In the skies 136 A-108 Close Air-Support Aircraft screeched towards the Gataway forces, determined to blow them up. Following behind them where the C-130 Hercules transport's, carrying a new secret weapon. Escorting these planes were 200 F-107 Fighters and 4 MiG-25Foxbats

The A-108's quickly sighted the Gataway forces and opened fire, using thier AIM-9X Sidewinders, AGM-65 Maverick Anti-Tank Missiles, and Rockeye Cluster Bombs to pummel the artillery. If the planes successfully did considerbale damage to the artillery, they fired upon the tanks with their 4 barrel 30mm gatling guns, which would turn the tank's armor into mincemeat.

The C-130 Hercules transports dropped several large paracutes a few clicks away from Frisco, totaling into 40 groups of parachutes. As they hit the ground it became all to clear what the parachutes had delievered: tanks. Yes, the all new T-3 "Burebista" Airborne Light Tank. With thier Aequatian Military Industries 105mm Rifled Gun and Aequatian Military Industries M90 20mm Coaxial Autocannons, and rushing towards thier foes at 60 miles per hour, they sped towards the offending enemy, unloading every weapon they could upon them.

The fighters simply stayed in the air, watching to make sure no aircraft dared to challenge Zambistan, and prepared to open fire as soon as any rose from the horizon.

"Welcome sirs, to Arranas, this way." The guards escorted the Gatawayians into the dining hall, where meany nervous looking officials attempted to force small talk. With the foreigners entering the room, sets of "here here's" were heard all around, and the Gatawayian offcials were quickly served alchohol. "We shall begin in a moment, we are waiting on Italians." A general could be heard under his breath "As usual..."

Explosions rang out as the Zambistan bombs and rockets fell taking out the open artillery devestating several units and killing off a few tanks they were not met unopposed however as the Gatawan anti-air batteries were alerted by radar of the upcoming attack and had opened up firing salvo after salvo of anti-air missles and filling the air with 30mm cannon fire...the Gatawan air force was also quick to act as 8 squadrons of f-22's began engaging in dogfights with the Zambistan planes..While initially the Zambistan's new weapon inflicted heavy losses on a surprised Gatawan armored divison in open combat the Zambistan's light tanks were met by the Gatawan heavy armor elements bearing down on them with 140mm cannon fire as well as TOW and Hydra missles..Meanwhile the Mechanized forces had completed their pincer movement and had began attacking the city mostly with APC internally housed 120mm mortars maintaining their permitier around the city..

General Krrov laughed while looking over an intel report much to the suprise of the other commanders in his command post.."The rebels are coming to assault us from port-4 the fools...and with T-72's..they may as well use pea-shooters." Krrov turned to a private working the radio center..."Get General Linz on a secure line and tell him to assault this intervention army we can whipe them off the map before they get here and notify high command to fortify our defensive positions." The private replied his voice somewhat shaky "Yes Sir."

Hellina Gataway

General Linz was suprised to be awoken during his mid-day nap by his radio operator "Sir orders from General Krrov..The Zambistans have launched a relief army from port-4 we need to take it out and form a barrier between the two cities..." Linz shook his head somewhat shocked...mobilize the army then and get out planes in the air." No sooner had his words been spoken than half of the 2nd army some 400,000 men and equipment began moving out to intercept the Zambistan force with their precious and limited armor the remainder stayed back in Hellina. Along with 2nd army several hundred strike and fighter craft roared off to harrass the enemy column as they moved towards Frisco..they wouldn't make it there in one piece

Bullets impacting the body armour of a female soldier and the snap of broken sound barriers were heard in the Zambistan capital as a small fire fight broke out between revolutionaries and Aliquancian Special Forces soldiers of the Ghost Recce regiment. These soldiers, trained from birth, were the first Aliquancians operating in Zambistan, they were dropped into the city by a special forces Merlin HM-04 helicopter to recover items of importance around the Zambistan capital and to depart the area with Aliquancian agents. The mission had not gone well however as they underestimated how well the rebels would communicate and fight together, most of all disregarding armoured vehicles. The team were tracked and constantly harassed as they moved to their first target, the Zambistani Intelligence service headquarters and after reaching its location found that it had been bombed, likely by the military of Gataway, one of the main opposes of the revolutionaries. By this time, the team of two sections (16 soldiers) of female soldiers decided to move to the Aliquancian embassy, where SIM Agents where waiting. Bombing Run

As the bombers came over each city, one by one, a single bomber would drop an EMP bomb, knocking out the communications lines. The bombers would then drop enough Greek Napalm* to burn the city down. The same was done for other strategic areas (factories, forests, military bases, etc.) minus the EMP bomb when there were no communication lines. By the end of the bombing run, the island would be ablaze.

*Highly powerful incendiary. Mixture of Ultra Napalm (improvment of Super Napalm [used by USA in Vietnam]) and Super Greek Fire (Improvment of Greek Fire. Cannot be put out by water.

Back at the Port of Kadath, transportation ships come by the dozens. Marks, with over 12,000 foot men (10,000 armed with M-16 Assault Rifles, 1,000 armed with SWS Sniping Systems w/ Sound Suppressors, and 1,000 armed with SMAW Shoulder-Launched Multipurpose Assault Weapons. All also armed with 3 Frag. Gernades.) dock. All in APCs. The screams of Ruckinian 10 B-52 Bombers and 10 F-16 Falcons can be heard over head. The rumble of 100 M1A2 Abrams Battle Tanks shake the ground.

After warding off the Zambistan air and limited ground assault the Gatawan forces turned their attentions back towards the city of Frisco.
Waiting until dark where they would have the advantage with night vision systems..the Gatawan forces were now adopting a kill all ask questions later policy.. and with much of the main artillery force damaged or destroyed the remaining groups fired 3 "alleyways" up towards the city to help deminish the threat of mines.
Meanwhile the Gatawan heavy armor assembeled outside the city and began firing... taking out most of the outerlying buildings..In preperation for an infantry assault the fast strike craft APC's deployed smoke and tear gas rounds into the city in an effort to further hamper the rebels ability to fight, they then quickly moved into the city suffering minor losses from the remaining mines and enemy sniper fire.

Along with the ground forces Gatawan army helicopters hovered over the city hunting down enemy positions especially searching out any anti-tank forces and hitting them with a combination of hellfire rockets and heavy .50 cal fire.
After the Infantry forces deployed they quickly began busting down doors and clearing rooms one by one killing anyone inside..Meanwhile the APC forces now being joined by urban assault vehicles (similar to bradley fighting vechicles and strykers) began taking out other sturctures with 120mm mortars and rocket fire... the fight for Frisco had begun and Gatawan forces had no intentions of stopping until nothing of Zambistan decent was alive..Outside the city the Gatawan armor, not ment for urban fighting, formed a perimiter around the city with the reserve infantry... still destroying outlaying sturctures with their heavy cannons...

The Port-4 relief force finally came up on sensors and the Gatawan strike craft were quick to react firing off their missles targeting specifically the rebels precious armor and their supply units while radioing back to General Linz the location of the enemy force..the Gatawan 2nd army was about 4 hours away but was still advancing at a quick pace to intercept and annilate them before advancing on to port-4.

Gataway
All throughout Gataway home guard units were being called up to bolster the coastal defence units and curfews had been put into the place everyone was on edge... The navy's submarines had been stationed up and down the coast while the main fleet assembled in Curco waiting to deploy and attack any enemy amphibious assault forces.. while a small strike force of 4 subs was en route to station off the Zambistan coast and would launch missle strikes against rebel targets on the mainland as well as monitor Arranas and Zambistan forces

Krrov was stunned at the sudden order to halt all advances but he was a loyal general and wasn't about to throw away his 40 year career "All units hold and take defensive postions until ordered otherwise" the command trinkled out through the entire first army and instantly all the Gatawan guns fell silent the Infantry troops dug into the rubble or fortified the structures they had already cleared..2nd army halted and dug itself in tight neither General was sure as to why a cease-fire was being imposed but the Emperor's word was law.

Explosions rang out as the Zambistan bombs and rockets fell taking out the open artillery devestating several units and killing off a few tanks they were not met unopposed however as the Gatawan anti-air batteries were alerted by radar of the upcoming attack and had opened up firing salvo after salvo of anti-air missles and filling the air with 30mm cannon fire...the Gatawan air force was also quick to act as 8 squadrons of f-22's began engaging in dogfights with the Zambistan planes..While initially the Zambistan's new weapon inflicted heavy losses on a surprised Gatawan armored divison in open combat the Zambistan's light tanks were met by the Gatawan heavy armor elements bearing down on them with 140mm cannon fire as well as TOW and Hydra missles..Meanwhile the Mechanized forces had completed their pincer movement and had began attacking the city mostly with APC internally housed 120mm mortars maintaining their permitier around the city..
The light tanks may not have had the firepower, but they could run circles around the heavier tanks. As they light tanks glided among the desert sands, they fired into the heavy tanks, 3 on 1, who would become mired in the sand. The simply sped away when they saw a tank's cannon pointing towards them, being able to get behind them and fire into the weaker parts of thier armor. Still, 12 tanks had been destroyed.

As the fighters kept up thier dogfight, the Combat Support craft dodged and ducked the AA fire, firing on all artillery they could find. When hit, they drove thier planes inot thier enemies, so determined were they to let the revolution win. Heavy losses abounded.

As IED's tore apart the infantry, mines blew upeverywhere. Homemade napalm grenades were chucked at any APC, burning the men inside ALIVE. Indeed it had become a horrorshow. The forces of Gataway were determined to search everyhome...and everyone was trapped. Shotgun shells, mines, bombs, acid, the death toll rose with each minute. The city was alive with gunfire, any flesh seen was quickly shot at. All fighters moved after each shot, making it impossible to locate them. APC's were stopped with small bombs, and targeted for mortar strike, which were then quikcly moved. Manholes eemed alive with rpg fire, a head popping up every now and then to find fresh foes.

The sewer system was alive with fighters, crunning down this tunnel, coming up on this street, hiding in that building, and blowing up anything they could. Burning cars stopped the Gataway forces and led them to amubush points.

Gataway forces obviously had no idea how to fight urban combat. Zambi's had been in gangs for years, and fought on these streets, and fled from corrupt cops just as deadly as anything Gataway could throw down. Helicopters? Sitting ducks! Thier characteristic hum alerted everybody they were coming, and all weapons were hidden while RPG's fired away.

Could they escape? No. All exits were being filled with burning cars and booby trapped wreckage, APC's unable to get over without exploding. Frisco was a deathtrap that would go into Gatawayian military textbooks, as an example of what not to do,w hile in would go in Zambi minds as what TO do.

What good were tanks and rifles against an enemy they couldn't fight? Greek fire actually got stronger in the presence of water...so Arranas had one big problem.

The ENTIRE island was ablaze in hours, and was actually viewable from space. 57 unique species would be wiped out in a night, as the once bountiful island was reduced to ash. The surrender of Arranian cities was quick, as they watched these same cities soon no longer exist.

700 Northern Baltic T-95 tanks and 300 T-90S tanks which were accompined by 150 Tunguska Air Defence Vehicules, 75 Sa-6, and 250 BMP-3 APCs loaded with elite Northern Baltic Assault Troops sped through the desert. Following a disregard of the cease fire through offensive movements regarding Zambistan or her allied forces the empire is revoking her cease fire and has declared open war on the new Zambistan government and her allies following this treachery the empire will make an example of what happens to traitors.

Krrov was shocked at the new order from high command..at least he was at first but soon a sinister grin spread across his face...the remaining artillery batteries opened up on Frisco once again...however this time they're payloads weren't heavy bomb shells instead the payloads consisted of Sarin gas.."If the rebels want to be stubborn then let them all die..it matters not to me we'll wait out for 4 hours then move into the city..there won't be much left." Krrov sat and watched the shells lob into the city...The batteries fired four salvo's of the deadly gas into the city... there would be no where to hide.

Meanwhile 2nd army had mobilized and was moving quickly from the south east to reinforce Krrov's army as well as drive off any enemy forces from the flank.

Frisco was dead. Bloated bodies of women and children filled the city streets, thier weapons laying in thier hands. They had fought to the last, giving the ultimate sacrifice to protect thier homeland and thier freedom.

Thier would be no peace now.

The entire Zambistan military was enroute to Gataway, with an anger and zeal only Hezbollah could understand. All the new tanks, planes, and whatever else the nation could muster was moving towards the east. Ships left Kadath and tried to sail as fast as they could. No person wanted to miss this!

Port-4 was on high alert, and was being transformed into a fortress city over night. Subs protected her port, buildings were fortified, mobile SAM sites were set up, gas masks were issued, and the populace settled in for a tough fight ahead. Artillery cannons bristled as they awaited the Gatpigs(as they were now called) to attack. Every citizen was armed, and fully ready to fight to the death.

From the mountains the city of Isleopgrad were going to be bombed heavily with chlorine gas and traditional munitions, any radar attempts to detect them would be ruined by the smog of the volcanoes and the terrain of the mountains. As soon as they would finish the job they would quickly flee back across the mountains before fighters could retaliate. They would be distracted with another action.

Hellina was about to be bombed at the same moment, Zambistan fighters protecting bombers who now rose from carriers. Napalm and traditional explosives would be rained down upon an unsuspecting populace. Gataway could throw as many fighters as she wanted, but the new fighters from the WSP would easily destroy them. However the bombers seemed completely oblivious to the potential of AA fire, and flew low, hoping perhaps to detect radar.

Terrorists were sneaking across the country, climbing over the mountains in attempts to reek any damage they could. They were lightly armed, but had the knowledge of a guerilla.

But The Barber had given another order as well.

ICBM missles hidden in the deserts were quickly being armed with one of the most devestating weapons Zambistan had. They were loaded carefully with a package that was very rare indeed in Zambistan, and very treasured. The missles slowly raised, poised to deliver a death blow.

The Barber had a choice to make: strike now and face the consequences...or continue his war....

Off in the distance a horde of APCs, tanks, and infantry can be seen. The dust from the ground is kicked up by the massive force, causing a large dust cloud to form, making it obvious to everyone that something big was on the way. The Ruckinian forces have finally joined up with the ZNCF.

Marks smiles as he talks on the radio, "Commissar Xotn Greateye... Comrade. We are here. What's going on!? Wasn't there a ceasefire? What happened?"

"Attack now comrade! The Gatawayians have betrayed us! Rush ahead, your forces are faster! Strike now and we shall be behind you!"

"Roger. Dispatch soldiers and fire at will!"

The APCs screech to a halt at a (somewhat) safe place and thousands of soldiers spill out. Beginning their attack. Shooting wildly, bullets fly in every direction. The Ruckinian snipers find any place they can to camp down and begin to take down infantry. The soldiers armed with the SMAW Shoulder-Launched Multipurpose Assault Weapons begin to fire at anything they can. Explosions can be heard everywhere. BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! The non-stop firing of Assault Rifles and artillery fire fill the city with chaos.

The F-16s scream overhead. They are on the hunt for any air craft that can be found...

The constant barrage of bombs, mortars, artillery all sent a shiver down the Gatawayians' spines, yet they still fight.

The Ruckinian tanks shoot, shell after shell. The foot soldiers begin to advance. Knowing that there is a risk of bio-warfare, the soldiers are ordered to put on their masks. They walk through the thick smoke of the gases and explosions.

"INCOMING!!!"

A large group of Ruckinian troops were taken out by a stray Gatawayian artillery shell. Killing about 30 of them.

The B-52 bombers continue to drop bombs on the Gatawayians' artillery and tanks. Reducing their numbers my many.

The advancement of the Ruckinian army was well noted, as the troops mowed down the Gatawayians' infantry.

finally the forums work long enough for me to reply to something this is mostly for the Zambistan attack a few posts ago..

ooc: I know they aren't rebels now and if you want to be that technical then Im not betraying zambistan I had an alliance with the former government...

Im going to request a post edit due to a few simple factors 1. I have 750,00 troops in Zambistan 2. My homeland as previously stated was on a high alrert stance therefore A. I find it highly unlikely that a nation who just underwent a revolution and had a horrid economy previously without any real standing army besides crime syndicates has anywhere near enough planes or equipment to invade B. As previously stated I only have 750,000 troops deployed which leaves me with more than ample amounts of reserves for homeland defence C. I find it unlikely that Zambistan would has a massive air force that rivals a more developed country even with the Aid packages which are mostly near obsolete planes compared to things like the F-22 and F-16's etc etc. Not to mention I would definately detect any force from some distance considering I have been on a high alert status like I said before.
Therefore the odds of a massive air strike reaching targets and inflicting massive destruction would be highly unlikely..sure a few would get through and what not and I would take losses but still city AA units as well as fighters would have been alerted long before the strike force reached anything and as for mountains and fog interfering with radar I have other border cities that could look far enough into Zambistan plus that 750,000 force deployed across the border would definately pick up anything..lastly I dont see Zambistan having a stockpile of ICBM's capable of nuking me off the map..I can see a few terrorist groups sneaking across the border similar to what occurs in Isreal in RL...anyways this is why I request a post edit...or if need be we can communicate through TG's to work something out..

The Gatawan forces who were dug in weathered the storm of Ruckinian forces taking heavy losses..and firing back with their own mortars and infantry units fired off salvo after salvo of anti-tank rockets..in the skies above f-22's engaged the Ruckian fighters while Gatawan strike planes layed down a wall of Napalm upon the advancing Ruckinian infantry and armor...The Gatawan infantry had an advantage over their Ruckinian counterparts who were forced to fight using their gas masks..firing from remants of trenchs and foxholes..The Gatawan forces held strong in the face of the onslaught...and soon the tide would turn as 2nd Army led by general Linz finally arrived his combat planes mixed in with the Ruckinian fighters already engaged and his strike craft assaulted the Ruckinian rear supply elements and artillery positions..meanwhile 2nd armies fresh tanks and Infantry simeltaneously slammed into the advancing Ruckinian flank behind a massive artillery barrage of the Ruckinian forces and then split starting to encircle the Ruckinian forces columns breaking off and assaulting the Ruckinians from multiple directions

IC: 40 miles away from the raging battle in near Frisco, the second expeditonary force would soon be added to the first. While the light tanks had quickly picked up firing as soon as the Gatpigs had betrayed them, they needed more power behind thier shots. Still, they danced around the battlefield, prefectly designed for desert warfare, of which gataway had little chance to practice.

They speed towards the battle they could hear in the distance, the artillery stopped when just in range. The officers kicked the artillery into "Saturation Mode" and watched as shell after shell from the dual cannons flew through the sky. They knew where Ruckian forces were, and had done thier math to ensure none of them would be hit. With a salute of approval, the rest of the forces continued towards the battle, eager for blood, as even more forces began to pour from the east.

The remaining Ruckinian soldiers (about 9,000) found cover to hide from the onslaught of bullets, napalm, and artillery.

The Ruckinian F-16s were having a rough time shaking off the Gatawayian fighter jets. The Ruckinian F-16s were more preoccupied with protecting the artillery. The B-52 Bombers continued to rain bombs upon the Gatawayian's Artillery, bring it down to a very low number. The B-52s were ordered to return back to Ruckinia after the bombing run, and after the B-52 bombers ran out of bombs, they did so. Only losing 2 amung the battle. However, the F-16s were dropping like flies. Fighting as best they could, they tired to take down the 2nd Army's jets, yet only took few with them...

The 700+ soldiers armed with SMAW Shoulder-Launched Multipurpose Assault Weapons turned their attention to the new threat of Atrillery and tanks, and began to fire from a far off distance. Though their distance lowered their accurcary, their amount of rockets made up for that. As if the sky was raining fire... The missiles were launched...

The Ruckinian snipers were ordered to take up sniping positions in the safest possible areas, to avoid (as best possible) the artillery, napalm, and advancing 2nd army. They began to pick off the Gatawayians' infantry one by one.

The Ruckinian tanks, though losing numbers, continued to fire. They changed their target to the 2nd army's artillery and began to fire.

The Zambistan artillery was devestating and caused a portion of the encircling party some 3 divisons 2 armor one mechanized infantry to turn to engage the Zambistan force. The strike craft from second army also turned to engage targeting the Zambistan armor units and artillery pieces leaving the Ruckinians while a large portion of first army surprsingly turned and counter attacked the Ruckinian forces with a vengance following a massive heavy mortar bombardment along with medium armor and several infantry divisons as well as attack chopper support. 6 divsions from 1st army's reserves 4 armor and 2 infantry were mobilized to fight the oncoming Zambistan force along with the 3 divisons from 2nd army already engaging them..

Meanwhile Back at home the 3rd and 4th armies were mobilizing north from central Gataway to aid 1st and 2nd armies..hopefully to arrive with the aid from the LARC members..Also a large formation of planes was being picked up and immediately slavo after salvo of AA missles and gunfire flew up from the ground fighter planes scrambled and began engaging enemy fighters and bombers...More disturbing were satellite images of ICBM sites prompting the high council to deliever a message.

The air losses were heavy, and as little damage had been wrought, the remaining planes limped to base.

Meanwhile things in Frisco were getting better. The light tanks were able to out manuvour the Gataway armor while they attempted to fire at the units on the horizon. Now the T-90's joined in battle as well, thier cannons ripping to shreds any armor they encountered. APC's vomited forth men with RPG's, bringing down helicopters. Still, losses for all sides were getting quite heavy, as there was no cover to hide behind.

But no Gataway forces could stand up against the 350 tanks on the horizon, coming to the aid of thier Ruckian allies. Speeding past them, the tanks continued the tactic of running circles around the Gataway artillery and armor. Saibot rounds punched holes through tanks as if they were paper, and infantry did the best they could to avoid the radiation.

Overhead Combat support craft were zooming in, hoping the ruckian fighters could distract any offensive aircraft. They aimed for the artillery, utilizing every weapon they had, praying to the gods that shrapnel ripped through the Gataway forces.

As the planes came, Zambi infantry let out a cheer and directed the snti-tank round on thier BMP-Ts towards any foe they could find, and those on the ground rushed forward, lobbing gernades at opposing infantry and firing rockets.

Far behind the lines Saturation fire continued, the artillery forming a solid wall of shells that began to push Gataway forces back. If they didn;t move, they would be destroyed, plan and simple, the space between shells mere feet. Even with this large amount of fire, the artillerymen remained careful to make sure thier were under any circumstances any friendly fire.

following the missle streaks the Gatawan choppers began attacking the Ruckinian SMAW postions and their remaining tanks with hellfire rockets..before turning to aid in the fight against the advancing Zambistans..The Gatawan assault continued on the Ruckinians despite the losses soon the Ruckinians would have to surrender..retreat or die to Linz and Krrov it didn't matter which they chose, but they did decide to give them the choice..and once the Ruckinians were delt with all forces could turn to face the Zambistans.

These forces have been delievered to Port-4 and are enroute to Frisco, curving around the fighting to get behind Gataway forces. You don't know this however.

All nations involved in the current Gatawan-Zambistani War will cease offensive action.

Gatawan will reduce it's WMD stockpile by 5%. As compensation, the Isle of Arranas will be annexed by Gatawan. Gatawan will pay 40% of all damages done to Frisco.

Zambistan will recall all forces in Gatawan. Zambistan will keep Frisco.

The tanks and soldiers quickly recieved new orders: screen the Ruckians. The light tanks quickly sped in front of the slower Ruckian forces, soaking up fire and dishing it out too. The T-90's continued thier slow and methodical fire, punching through armor. Infantrymen were now in hand to hand fighting, Zambi bayonets digging deep into Gatawayian chests, as each BMP slowly rose thier tank kill count even higher. It was clear the Gataway forces were slowly dwindiling, while Zambi forces were growing every minute. Zambistan could handle a war of attrition...could Gataway?

The Gatawan artillery was pummled and following the massive armor advance the Gatawan forces commenced a fighting withdrawl mauling the Ruckinian forces one last time before pulling south.. Using mostly strike craft to hold back the enemy forces..3 squadrons took a few "revenge" shots at the Zambistan artillery hitting them with cluster bombs before streaking back to Gataway moving back inside the border of Gataway as quickly as possible..Linz and Krrov we'ren't fools they wouldn't fight a losing battle they're forces had been fighting for nearly two days straight and they needed to regroup..they could regroup at the border where the border fortresses would provide excellent protection and there they could wait for 3rd and 4th armies to arrive should they be orderd to advance again..meanwhile off the coast of Zambistan the Gatawan subs finally in position fired a surprise salvo of strike missles into port-4 targeting the docks and airfield there before slipping back under the waves..waiting to possibly strike again

Any airborne missles from the subs were quickly defeated by the mobill SAM sites(although the airfield was hit a bit), but it was unclear if the North Baltic ships were as quick...

Meanwhile the light tanks seized thier chance and flew at full speed toward the routing Gatway forces. They fired rounds into the weaker back of the tank's armor, and did as much damage as possible. Nearly 200 gave chase all the way to the border, leaving many, many burning tanks behind them. The artillery quickly followed, stopping short of the border and firing continously at any troops at the border.

By the time the Gataway forces would arrive, artillery would have damaged highly any and all forces along thier exit route, allowing the tanks to give chase even further.

But the work was done.

Having killed many during the retreat, the light tanks fled back to frisco, where they could refuel, easily out running anything, save for aircraft, that dared to cross the border. Frisco was alive again as gas stations and supply trucks fed and nurtered all forces present.

The orders were given:

Refuel.
Regroup.
Run to the border.

Marks, having called air re-enforcements when beginning the battle, grinned... The screams of the Jets could be heard in the distance, as well as the putters of the Helicopters. 20 AH-64D Apache Longbow Helicopters, 40 F-16 Falcons, 10 B-52 Bombers, and 10 A-10 Thunderbolt II’s all come into the battle. Beginning the attack were the F-16 Falcons, firing at the helicopters. Next was the missile attack of the AH-64D Apache Longbow Helicopters, destroying much in it's path. The A-10 Thunderbolt II’s began to bomb the artillery, doing what they were made for best. And the B-52 Bombers began to drop the bombs on the Gatawayians' forces. The air assault greatly diminished the Gatawayians' force, and were losing their great advantage...

Meanwhile... The Ruckinian soldiers continued to fire their rounds off into the Gatawayians' army. The Ruckinian snipers shot off round after round into the Gatawayian soldiers, picking them off, one by one... Bullets went wild, from side to side. However, the Ruckinian flanks were still exposed and were still being exploited.

"Fall back, soldiers!"

The Ruckinian soldiers begin to scramble, yet are surrounded. They have no place to go. They all decide to push North, through the infantry. Heavy casualties were caused, however they made it. The remaining soldiers wielding SMAW Shoulder-Launched Multipurpose Assault Weapons continued their missile attacks.

The sky was chaos. Ruckinian air forces and Gatawayian air forces exchanged fire. Yet the massive force of the army overcame the Gatawayian Air Force.

We can end this now. Lay down your arms, and you will be spared. You think this is all the Ruckinian army has in store for you!? Oh, if you mean the island in green above Ruckinia, that's part of Ruckinia. Slivaro is a small territory to the east of Ruckinia wedged between Ruckinia and Jupiter.

i would like to apologize for any errors i may have made. for clarification my troops are on the island between Ruckinia and Gataway. to Nuevo Italia: i am not invading you. to all: i am allied with Gataway in its conflict with whichever government is in charge of Zambistan. from this post forward, i am refering to my troops on the Ruckinian island not Slivaro.

OOC: Zambistan is 75% "mudland", this is due to under (and over) water rivers. Storming the "beachhead" with heavy artillery is not the best idea, because it causes the tanks to be stuck in... well... mud. So basically doing this will cause most of your tanks to be unusable... You sure you wana do that? Do some research before invading new places, please.

OOC: The Revolutionary War was won with my bombing of Arranas, sending the Capitalists up in flames. However, Gatawan launched a new war on the New Zambistan communist nation, and Zambistan and co. sent forces in to Gatawan. However, things are at a stand still due to Gatawan not having been on for a while. Aschenhyrst has provided some (badly written) plot movement, but unless Gatawan does something, this thread is going to die.

"this is not our battle, Sergeant", said Captain Liao of QTWolf's "cannibals", lowering the last 20 tons of rice into the clawing hands of the homeless..

Besides, their skills were not of much use here, as the local populace seemed to be almost as adept at taking things apart for recycling as the "cannibals" were..

The Sergeant looked into the vast and EMPTY hold of the UN-loaned C-130 Hercules...and then laughed almost insanely, as if he'd just seen the joke..then he issued a few whispered orders to a few key people, who had a few even more quiet talks with some other people..

Captain Liao sat in his office, going through the rapports on his laptop...this place was a nightmare, there was nothing even remotely interesting to salvage.. people LIVED in bombed-out armoured vehicles, and every last resource was being put to use, altho Liao almost wept at the innefficiency..he looked up as the sergeant knocked, then entered the office..

"Sergeant Vandenabeelen reporting mission complete and requesting immediate take-off, Sir!" Captain Liao just nodded, the sergeant yelled an order into a walkie-talkie and on the runway a C-130 dragged it's heavy ass into the air, apparently laden with sensitive cargo..

"well, Sir, it's like this....we could not really find a cargo..and then I remembered how these locals were nicking stuff of our trucks all the time, you remember?"

Liao nodded, he remembered well..one day he had to buy 1500 gallons of fuel on the black market because someone stole the fuel from the trucks.. and that was just ONE example...he had sent a sample of the fuel to HQ for analysis, but he had little doubt it was the petrol that was stolen FROM the trucks..

"well, Sir, I went back to see what sort of tools they use....."

"well, Sir, I reckoned that this would be the ideal place to rescue a couple hundred souls from a rescue-camp...seeing as they steal the parts from our trucks while WE is IN the trucks, using tool that are only CALLED tools because the pre-historical clubs and spears were ALSO tools"

The fighting that is going on for my forces is along the Gatawan Zambistan border mostly outside Frisco..where my forces had to withdraw back to the border to rest, and regroup into a massive series of fortifications I have buit up on the border with Zambistan...My ally "the new guy" Invades Ruckina in order to lessen their involvement in the war between myself and Zambistan while also deploying some troops into Gataway to reinforce my own army..also my two allies have fleets off the coast of Ruckinia and I believe Zambistan as well...while Vontanas tries to play both sides and form some type of peace agreement...hopefully everyone is clear now.

All along the border soldiers continued to get dug in..Krrov and Linz's armies were now joined by 3rd and 4th army from central Gataway and side of the border somewhere out in the desert the Zambistan forces remained..the fortified forces were being supplied daily by the train load with ammuntion, food, extra artilery pieces and Anti-tank pieces, anti-air and anti-missle systems,and other essential equipment.. The soldiers waited anxiously inside their secure positions.. all units were on high alert as word of another possible offensive began to spread..the Gatawan air force had also stepped up its presence conducting 24 hour patrols along the border with strike craft and fighters ready on alert...along the coast too fortifications were beefed up and the Imperial Navy was on high alert staying off the southern coast in order to help deal with Ruckinia should they have too...

The Northern Baltic 2nd and 5th armies arrived in one of the smaller ports in Zambistan. Traffic came to a standstill as the tanks, trucks, and men moved through the steep windy streets in near perfect discipline. Despite pedestrians welcoming the troops in, the troops were at first ordered to keep their formation. Eventully, the crowds of pedestrains became much to impossible to move through so the troops were allowed to break formation and return the welcoming of the citizens.

While the welcoming party was taking place in the small port, a radio messege had gone out to New Zambistan HQ requesting a location to set up camp.
"We're gonna need a lot of land", said General Visbey, commander of the 5th Army.
"I have full faith New Zambistan will supply us with more then enough land", said Air Wing Commander Leia Rose.

The first of the Type 95 Self Propelled Howitzers were unloaded from the ships. Their 203mm guns and 30 mile range should deliver a punch to whomever they will be facing.

The border units grew restless from waiting..and after days of fortifiying their positions it was nearly impossible for the Gatawan forces to become anymore entrenched..news of several of the communist forces withdrawl from the conflict had lifted the spirts of the Gatawan soldiers and hopefully Ruckinia would withdraw by the end of the day...The soldiers went about regular tasks..and began laying mines all along the border infront of their positions...newer super heavy 406mm Behemoth cannons were being deployed in newly built bunkers along with dozens of MLRS systems as well as 120mm self propelled Vengance anti-tank units and anti-missle/air systems..

The coastal units too had their spirits lifted by the news of some of the communist nations dropping out as well as the entrance of two allies into the conflict..the navy beagn deploying more subs towards the Zambistan coast to fire missle salvos into Zambistan..

And in an effort to further hamper enemy movement scud-D missle systems were being deployed along the border carrying both conventional and chemically tipped warheads.

The entire navy was now on high alert, scanning the waters making sure no Gatpig terrorism would succeded. The majority of rebel forces were now near the border, the buildup of tanks, artillery, infantry, and the many devices of war very apprant. A small community had begun forming, as an airfield was built and defensive structures were put up. The border had been mined heavily, and huge tracks of barbed wire stretched across it. While the border was not as secure as "Fortress City," a new nickname for Port-4, it still did its duty. The opposing force was studied from across the border. The "super heavys" would, by far, be the least of thier worries. Something that large would move incredibly slow in the shifting sands of Zambistan.

In fact, the whole affair was laughable. Gataway had made no attempts to sand-proof her vechicles, and many an infantrymen laughed as Gatpig mechanics were overdrive just to keep thier tanks in working order. Zambi forces however were quite adapted for the desert warfare, thier soldiers knowing the location of every dune and every pit in the region.

Each day more and more revolutionaries, flag and gun in had, traveled to the border. Among them were young people, some scarcely 13, ready to die for thier people and thier country. Why did the fighting continue? Was Gataway simply that greedy? Even though they couldn't understand why Gataway wanted to continue the war, they were willing to lay down thier lives to defend thier homeland.

So were the terrorists now spread among Gataway cities, living in ethnic slums, who were cooking up thier bombs and dreaming of peace. Isleopgrad had become a hive of terrorist activity, providing fresh recruits with contacts who could disperse them throughout the country. All this was cleverly hidden, the government unaware.

Very well. You know were our loyalties lie in this conflict.

They were soaring above New Zambistan. Everything from jet fighters to refueling planes. Many of the planes had paratroopers in them, itching for a fight with the Gatpigs. Flight Commander Marx Redflag radioed the New Zambistani government, requesting to land and have a meeting with the New Zambistani military leaders.

Krrov who had been named Regional commander now was pleased with the work of his soldiers the fortifications were more than formibable and would be able to withstand almost anything thrown at them the Zambistan fortifications were light in comparison and should a massive offensive occur they would pose little more than a speed bump. The soldiers sat idlely in their positions unless of course they had been unlucky enough to be assigned to patrol duty. Enemy patrols had been sighted 8 times already but by now this was common place both sides watching the other waiting for one to make a move. Still no word from the Ruckinians on wether or not they would withdraw surely they would have to.
The morale amongst the Gatawan troops was high reinforcements of some allied marines should arrive soon and the scud systems had reached their positions behind the lines now giving Krrov the ability to bombard his enemies while staying out of range of their artillery as well as being able to deploy unconventional weapons against them should he choose to. Not really, seeing as the Gepard 3s are SHIPS and the SA-18s are MANPADS.

Many argued that the war was unimportant to Kulikovia. OOC: The Revolutionary Nationalists are now the government, my allies are still prepared to fight, but since we are in a cease fire, nothing is happeaning. Gataway was pushed back to his border, where both me and him have dug in quite well.

OOC:Yeah basically its like the Korean war where one side had success then the other and now that we're at a stalemate and its obvious the revolutionaries won the war no since in fighting for a dead alliance. So basically my allies have agreed to withdraw from any Zambistan allied territory..and its kind of like a cold war scenario

The Gatawan envoys looked about the ruined city..eyeing the formations of troops assembled before them Krrov in particular had a somewhat disgusted look upon his face..never the less he followed the other two generals and the Zambistan officer to meet with the barber, who had been so elusive during the campaign..

The Gatawan generals laughed a bit in unison as the barber read the letters from the Zambistan people..Nifta being the head envoy took a drink and stroked his chin.."We will agree to pay reperations for Frisco.including reperations to any remaining family members of those killed at Frisco. We however will refuse to pay for any equipment destroyed during combat unless the establshiment of Gatawan bases on the isle of Arranas is allowed we request a single Naval base stritcly designated to refuel our fleet ships during long range operations..we also prepose a 50 mile DMZ on both sides of the Gatawan-Zambistan border and tighter border controls on both sides of the border as well as an end to all terrorist activities inside Gataway in return our chemical weapon stockpiles will be reduced by 5%"

The Barber was not happy with the laughing. He snapped his fingers and the soldiers in the room took one step forward and stopped. "I think laughing is highly out of place. A DMZ is un-needed, because we will agree to a tighter border. However I am lost on how can possibly defend against paying reperations."

"You invaded us. Period. We defended ourselves. Period. Have we driven into Gataway? Have my warriors occupied your territory? Have I GASSED your people?" The Barber took several puffs of his pipe. A jet plane flew from international waters into Zambistan, zooming into Gommorah and depositing the delegate. The nervous Vantanian rushed into the building, catching the words the Gatawan delegate said. He responded immediantly. "My government would accept these terms, and will pay all fees that Gatawan will not. What say you, Barber?" the Vantanian then listened to the Barber's response.

"Ah, the Vontanian! Please, sit!" One of the soldiers pulled out a chair from one of the hallways and put it at the head of the table, so that the delagate could be between both groups.

"Please, let the Gatawayians speak first. Let us here if they can admit thier wrong doings, eh?"

The Vantanian smiled, taking his seat. He slipped a note to the Barber.

It had native Vantanian drugs, not the mind-warping psychodellic kind, but definitly positive, with a flavour of sweet gum. Instantly he was transformed from a nervous delegate into a seasoned ambassador. He passed a note back to the Barber.

Nifta spoke firmly "The gassing of your people is regertable but was deemeed necessary to discourage further insurgency... and as stated we will pay reperations to the families from Frisco as well as 100% of the cost to rebuild the city.. however our invasion was in order to support an alliance we had formed with your former government... loyalty is a value highly prized in our fine nation therefore we do not see it as a wrong doing.. Popular choices are always not the best, you could win little popularity by continuing war at the moment but in long run your people would only suffer because of that."

As a response to the Gatawanians, the Vantanian slipped them three one million USD bills.

He then spoke out, "Now that we're settled on the idea of the naval base, I would like to announce that my government is willing to pay for all damages to Gatawan." He winked at the Gatawanians.

The Barber signed his title, and put took of his ash from his pipe and smuged the paper.

"One last thing" said colonel Kiviring. "At the name of Empire of Olmedreca, I officially recognize current communist government of Zambistan as legal government of Zambistan. That also means allowing trade between us."

Nifta stamped the Imperial seal onto the paper as did Krrov and Linz before passing it around..they then stood nodded to their Olmedrecan supporter and made their way back to the chopper to return home.
