The following message was recorded from Amerion Explorers in a Communist contry south of it's location...
"OH MY GOD! They have us cornered we only have 2 weeks of food and they're closing in on us...."
The transmition broke after this we spent the next 30 minuates trying to establish communication then we heard someone speaking we think it wasn't meant for us it was for the explorers we just overheard....
" Shut up, Who do you work for"
Then the transmition went dead well for a few then one of the guys that are interrogating them found the radio...
"Amerion If you ever want to see your exeplorers pay us 13,000 jestins" (Amerions currency)
All reasoning with the hostage takers failed no word on Amerion's plans on going into the war or not

Breaking news: The ACSA or The Amerion center of space adminstration lauched 3 satallites to spy on the communist group. The embasy for that country was never established so no amerionians are in that country other than the hostages.... the neogation continues there is not much piont for it at this time thought

No, I mean, have you asked him if you can use his nation to RP this little incident of yours?
OOC: No, he didn't ask, I just found out when he TGed me the thread. However, if you want to go to war Amerion, by all means do so. Might I also suggest that you move to the region Castamere.

OOC: I'll play along, though the hostage takers are ex-Liberation Forces personnel from the former communist regime, they don't actually work for Iragia but are instead enemies of the state, they simply say they do

Captain Jacob Angelus, formerly of the second People's Guard regiment of the Liberation Forces of the People's Republic of Iragia looked at the captives before him. A survey team from Amerion had been exploring the lands around Iragia when the captian and other LF troopers who had survived the Civil Defence Corps' witch hunt had taken refuge in the wilderness. They lived off rations, and launched raids for weapons, munitions, food, water, and fuel for their handful of vehicles.
Originally they had sent a ransom demand to the government of Amerion. Now, however, the captain had a better idea. He hated the so called 'democoracy' that had sprouted up in Iragia, and the newly minted Republic. The captain had his uniform, and he could easily convince the Amerions to go to war with Iragia and hopefully damage if not bring down his enemies. Perhaps, with enough of a power vacuum, Angelus could team up with the Socialist party and seize power for a renewed socialist paradise.
He donned a captured Armed Forces of the Iragian Republic uniform, and ordered the surveyors' video camera set up. The surveyors were put on their knees, and the captain, and several of his troopers, all wearing captured AFIR uniforms, prepared a statement.
"Attention people of Amerion. Your surveyors have violated the sovereignty of the Republic of Iragia. As a captain of the armed forces it is my duty to care for the defence of our national sovereignty, and I hereby demand reparations to be made to our government for your actions. We demand the immediate payment of an increased ransom of 50,000 Jestions if you wish to see your surveyors alive again. If you do not believe we are serious, we will give a demonstration."
The captain nodded to another soldier, who raised his Kalashnikov rifle and executed one of the prisoners.
"You have 24 hours"

OCC: can you aprehend the captain without them killing the hostages
OOC: The captain and his troops are encamped in the wilderness east of my nation, outside of Iragia proper and the government isn't even fully aware of this problem. You mentioned something about a war, do you want to have one, or do you want a more peaceful resolution?
