'The strength of a dictatorship or a kingdom is only that of the one man that rules, the strength of a democracy is that of the millions that rule.' - Sir Themirin Ilek-Vaad, The Honoured Statesman , co-founder of the C.I.D.

Since 1993 The C.I.D. has been a support system for fledgling democracies world wide. The C.I.D. is a non-governmental charitable organization that is committed to helping fund and organize in nations that are committed to expanding or introducing democracy. From purchasing voting machines to funding and training political parties the C.I.D. offers to reach out and help all democracies bring power to the people.

The C.I.D. is open to working with any nation that wishes to bring about democratic change and take the logical political evolutionary step away from neolithic dictatorships, kingdoms and empire and move into the advanced and intelligent light of rule by the People, for the People.

The C.I.D. does place requirements on who may and may not receive aid:

1.) Democratic movements and political parties must be legal in their state of origin and such democratic movements should ideally be working hand in hand with the legal government of their nation to bring about democratic reform.

2.) Democratic movements and political parties must sign statements that they are committed to non-violent democratic change and that once democracy has taken root, that they will always abide by free and fair elections.

3.) Democratic movements and political parties must understand that the C.I.D. also reserves the right to aid opposition parties that also agree to non-violence and agree to make free and fair elections binding.

4.) Democratic movements and political parties must agree to act ethically in regards to political campaigns, and refuse to use slander, innuendo or untruths in the course of any political campaign.

5.) Democratic movements and political parties must agree to transparency, both in regards to political stance and funding.

6.) Democratic movements and political parties must agree to be inclusive and place no racial or ethnic restraints on party membership or on voting rights in general. Democratic parties should represent ideology, not racial or ethnic bias.

If your nation is moving toward democracy and the parties involved can meet this criteria, requests for financial, organizational and political aid can be directed to The Right and Honourable Sir Theleb Kanaan, Grand Master of the Coventry Institute for Democracy.

The C.I.D. also would like it to be known that direct membership is available by invitation, invitations for membership will be made to individuals who help foster democracy and civil rights through committed actions and words.

So contact the C.I.D. now and give your nation the strength and enlightenment of rule by and for all the People!
