There are just a few things to keep in mind.

1) This does not effect anything. its a just for fun what if Tournament.

2) Bring your best, no second or third rate stuff here.

3) No playing Dieties from recognised religions in RL.

Other than that, this is all character based, and there are no other rules.

I should probably mention that there will be prizes.

I may or may not articipate directly, you just never know how a match will be set up.

First round is against each other, an opponet of my choosing.

Second round is against a single creature from one of the first two D&D 3.5 ED, Monster Manuel. The creature will be based on how well you do in the first round. Round three is a five hundred mile race between two cities.
Round Four is you versus your opposite from The Mirror Universe. Five is against a Standerd Ri-anese Sorcerer..

Six Two fighters Vs. One Opponet

Seven Two Opponets Vs. One Fighter.

Eight is against a Mystery opponet from another Reality.

Nine is actually a big Brawl of all opponets against each other at the same time.

10 is against one of my major Characters. Usually a Magi-master, a The Ministry of Shadow Members, Id, or even Lady Ri-an.

Are there any caps(beside logic, which is often rarely logical), such as imposed(self or otherwise) power-limiters?

I'm not imposing any limits, no, however, you may wish to think of the other RP'ers, who may not want to try and fight a character strong enough to create and destroy worlds with impunity.

Any special requests/needs: No mushrooms, please. And quality spell components. None of that 'talcum powder with yellow dye' crap I got at the last tournament.
Anything else we may or may not need to know/background: Karathis is one of the four adventurers stuck in this alternate reality after a lich's contingency spell. He has regained control over the local weave as of late and, more recently, mistakenly participated in a 'mage tournament' run by force users. This resulted in a fuming Karathis and Vaikwur storming out of the building followed by a wide-eyed Ulrich and I'mdyp shortly before the entire structure was blown into outer orbit. As far as investigations have been able to discern, the colosseum is still slowly orbiting the planet, the competitors and hosts trapped inside.

Done. Request granted. You will be pleased to know that Ri-an has the finest spell ingredients anyone who needs them could ask for.

Is it to be focused on powers/abilities or would there be any objections to characters just up and pounding on each other.

If you think you can win that way, go right on ahead.

Count me in- but expect a post a LOT later. The two reasons:
1. I figure I should make a new character for this- it takes a while for me to think of new characters.

Anything else we may or may not need to know/background: this is a ...thing that exists due the the manner in which the multiverse is destroyed at the end of time. when the multiverse collapses its entire content is channed into a single planer existence, then it spontaneously comes back into existence as it was when it started due to a flaw in time/space physics. after the multiverse has been destroyed Lx999999999to the power of 98 times its entire content has compressed its self forming one singular body of existence with all knowledge of existence for its entirety and the hidden knowledge of how to manipulate existence. due to its nature this thing, it is unable to comprehend how the singular beings in the existing multiverse could be so stupid as to not know there coming fate it has taken pity and decided to end this loop of existence... by destroying the multiverse and therefore ending the time/space flaw in physics. in order to do this, the "void" must do one thing... win a contest...

Tone it down some. I don't mind intergalactic beings, just thinking of everyone's fun. I have a worldspirit who may or may not participate depending on my needs. Why not scale it back to a world, or, pull out a canon character out of your favorite fantasy novel, throw on some customization and submit a character that way? Why not use the rules of D&D and make a character that way?

We don't use magic or sorcery. We don't even have souls. In fact, one of our main goals is to get rid of magic (mostly just the warp, but others too, yeah). Lots of null-fields and psychic voids.

He's not actually finished. Everything has been but a diversion for his real goal. In may, my last thread starts, and in that thread, he goes for it all, when he attempts to find and destroy The Crystal of The Heart of Creation, without which, nothing can possibly exist. When it dies, everything goes with it. Then this fanon can finally be put to rest, and I can begin the actual canon storyline. But that's all offline stuff anyway. His children are running around trying to find it. I already OOCly know where its and all that, just building up to the thread.

Funny how time and the minor inconvienience of dying can change things. First it'll be Tajen, his oldest son, who'll inturn summon his father's spirit and power, transforming him into the Real Kajeenith. Weaknesses may or may not be the same. Either way, that fight is the last one of the thread.

I can see my round 4 rapidly degenerating into a fistfight...

Or a mexican standoff. Or something akin to nuclear war.

Seriously, since Karathis' counterspells also do a spell turning when they are used, the moment one drops counterspell mode to do anything they're toast.

I'll probably run it as a mexican standoff, where one fires off a quickened disintegrate (or something suitably lethal) and resolve it with an almost instantaneous series of counterspell pulses.

One second, two mages staring each other down.

The next, twenty green beams across the battlefield and one mage.

Unless... Maybe the mirror Karathis will be an evoker, focussed on all-out offense. Then it'll be easy. Just wait for the mirror-version to try and cast anything.

Powers: Immortal, effectively omnipotent(for various reasons will be at nowhere near full power. For a loose comparison, think Q from Trek compared to a sheep)
Any special requests/needs: Beer, babes and more beer. Also lots of meat.
Anything else we may or may not need to know/backround: Due to the nature of the existance of Mayth/others like him, competitions are usually things on the order of both exerting all thier force on trying to move a grain of sand. As this can get somewhat tedious, he has decided it'd be interesting to participate in the games beings play.

Prior to hearing of the tournament, he'd been having an extended 'vacation' in the in the 'barbarian world' that of the sterotypical fictional barbarian.

Will be likely very wierd as he is very bored.

No, Om became part of Ri-an after it Blew up. That was part of Xos's wish. Kajeenith's spirit and power roamed freely, because he wasn't actually dead yet, due to his children. He once ruled the planet, he could easily find his way out.

The very act of breathing kills him a little with every breath he takes. In Final Fantasy terms, he has one hell of a lot of HP, that gets restored in The Void. The trick to beating him is to get him to completly merge the Void with the Multiverse, then completly obliterate him there. But for the purposes of this battle, he only needs to do a great deal of damage to Kajeenith. This will undo the Merge, and allow Isa to win, should he get to that point.

I really could care less. Age is meaningless to me. everyone will die equally. I mean, uh, Gosh that's intresting. Why only 2?

All right, my creation:

Name: The Faorin Brothers
Age: 44
Race: Human
Powers: Although there are three brothers, they share one body- most of the time. When the circumstances demand it, one brother will take over for the moment.
Joed is the Eldest Brother, the Brother of Ice. When he's in control, their body appears somewhat gray, and the hair is somewhat white or blue colored. He uses ice-based attacks, and works on freezing the hell out of people. He is also the physically strongest, able to punch holes through pure titanium.
Tora is the Middle Brother, the Brother of Thunder. The body appears yellow when he's in control. Needless to say, he specialiises in electric attacks, and carries a long spear that can extend up to 25 meters. Moreover, when Tora is in control, he can fly.
Leta is the Youngest Brother, the Brother of Fire. The body appaears orange when he attacks. Leta is incredibly quick-tempered, and is easily triggered by insults. He specialllizes in fire blasts, carrying a flaming sword. In his mode, the body moves at incredible speeds.

Moreover, they can change who is in command almost instantly when the time requires. Furthermore, each one has to be killed, meaning that the body must undergo three deaths.
Needs: Nice bed. Having three bodies in one means tht they do tire fairly quickly, and you'll find the three frequently asleep.

He has an uncanny ability to switch between elements, everything from wind to light and he has a signature move known as Psybolt. He can also summon Dragons to his aid. Right now, he's seeking to combine Rasengan with his elemental powers and/or Psybolt to generate another signature move, but that's another story and shall be told another time. His lightsaber is gold and deals double damage to people with evil hearts, slicing right into the soul (not immediately fatal, unless struck true). Otherwise, it deals regular lightsaber pwnage.

No. If say, your character lost an arm or a leg in this tournament, it wouldn't actually effect anything. This is a just for fun RP, that effects almost nothing. The only thing that does effect you, is whatever prize you get in the end, should you take one of the top three winning slots. That prize IS real.

Thus, you can send in whatever Character you want, provided its not Blatant Godmodding, and not have to worry about losing them. Its a chance to test out a possible character you may have been thinking of.

Anything else we may or may not need to know/background: his power is limited against resolute persons, as the majority of his power is devoted to forcing people to believe things that he wishes them to believe, in order to turn their own will against themselves; he is invulnerable to physical attacks, but if confronted by a wise person, he can do nothing to them and is almost as if he doesn't exist at all.

Powers: Vector is pretty much an "all-round" person, who knows a little of everything. He has 3 main abilities:
1: To learn; he's an amazing learner who often outdoes his teachers.
2: The ability to channel raw power/energy/force; never touch him, you might as well jump into a supernova.
3: The ability to master the fourth dimension (time); this ability makes him almost invincible, and can be very annoying for his opponents and teachers.
