Commander training: Combined enhanced tactical knowledge with advanced combat skills. Clone commanders receive flash training to fulfill their advanced roles and are bred with extra capacity for autonomy, tactical thinking, and coordination. In combat, they were often assigned to field command centers, but participated with their fellow clone troopers in combat if the situation required it.
Academy of Carida is one of our officer training schools.
The Academy of Carida is a private state-supported, comprehensive military institution. It formed a triumvarite of elite military institutions along with the academies of Raithal and Corulag. This institution is known by a variety of names such as Caridan Military Academy (CMA) and Carida Academy.
The central focus of the Academy was its training of clonetrooper s. While other branches and sister facilities were tied into the clonetrooper training program, every trainee that passed through the gates of the Academy participated in the basic training and field exercises of the clonetrooper Corps before moving on to their more specialized training. Live fire field exercises provided practical experience as well as the means to test new weapons in combat situations. Clonetrooper: Officer/Captain
Clone Trooper captains are specialized Clone troopers bred to act in special missions. They are recognized by the red markings on their helmets and torso armor. The Clone Trooper captains are also assigned to leading companies of 144 Clone troopers. Their weapons are the DC-15 blaster rifle and pulse grenades. They are also trained to handle the Aratech military speeder bikes. Some captains also serve as sharpshooters and scouts. Those clones are armed with long ranged sniper rifles and are tasked with the disruption of enemy infantry.

Clonetrooper: Officer/Commander
Clonetrooper commanders are clone troopers bred for leadership roles in the Army.
They lead regiments of 2,304 clone troopers into battle. They are distinguished by yellow-orange markings on their armor and helmets. They are given special training to fulfill their advanced roles, are also bred with extra capacity for critical thinking and tactical coordination, and were allowed more independence. In combat, they were often assigned to any command centre that had been set up though sometimes they participated with their fellow clone troopers if badly needed.

Security Command & tasked with enforcing law & order. They are a specialized subsection of clonetrooper infantry who serve as law enforcers
Wear light yet heavily padded crimson & black armor that provides protection against physical attacks. Their sophisticated battle helmet, which is lined with advanced sensors, allows them to work in complete darkness, and contains a COM link scrambler for communication with fellow personnel. A unit commander's helmet is also equipped with a voice-activated heads-up display that showed Other Police positions.
Optional tracking beacon software let a unit commander know the whereabouts of his subordinates at all times.

Clonetrooper: Radioactive Zone Assault
Radiation troopers, also known as Radtroopers are a specialized subsection of clonetrooper infantry. They are well equipped to operate in one of the deadliest terrain types: heavy radiation zones. A lead-polymer substrate that gave protection needed to withstand lethal Grade 5 radiation zone for several hours. Only the Radtrooper suits are proof against extended operations in deadly environments.
While space trooper suits were able to provide ample protection against radiation, they were too cumbersome to operate within planetary gravities.
The distinctive silver & black battle armor of the radiation zone assault troopers is a modification of the standard plastoid Clonetrooper armor & provides protection against radiation as well as biological & chemical expose. It is stress reinforced & contains a heat & radiation reflective coating. The suit also consists of a one-piece wrap-around backpack unit that contains a heat & radiation-cooling unit with energy source & portable environment unit. Their helmets are stress reinforced with automatic polarizing lenses, an integrated COM link & breathing filters. The view plate contains macrobinoculars with blast shield & UV sensors. Under the armor, the trooper is enclosed in a black two-piece temperature controlled & radiation sealed body glove.

Clonetrooper: Aquatic Assault
The seatroopers, also known as aquatic assault clonetroopers, are a specialized subsection of clonetrooper infantry. They are used to maintain a presence on aquatic worlds.
The seatrooper's armor is based on the light design of the scout trooper. It covers a two-piece environmental body glove that gives protection from uncomfortable temperature extremes or toxic water environments.
Their amour is more flexible than standard Clonetrooper designs, preserving & even increasing a trooper's aquatic dexterity. They are equipped with a back-mounted propulsion unit & a pair of propulsion boots with snap-down flippers. The aquatic trooper's regular weapon is a blaster rifle/speargun hybrid.

Clonetrooper: Desert
Sandtroopers or Desert Troopers are a specialized subsection of clonetrooper infantry equipped with modified armor & equipment to withstand the harsh climates of desert planets. Though their armor is similar to that of a regular Clonetrooper, their suits contain an advanced cooling system, which offers better protection from the relentless heat than standard Clonetrooper armor. Their helmets contain lenses that automatically polarize to protect the trooper's eyes, as well as breathing filters. Another notable difference is the shoulder pauldron each Sandtrooper wears. These are used to denote rank, with enlisted personnel wearing black pauldrons, while officers wear white & commanders of several units of these elite soldiers wear orange pauldrons. Additionally, Sandtroopers can operate in hot, wet, tropical environments with slight modifications to their equipment.

The Biker Advanced Recon Commando trooper, also known as the BARC trooper is a specialized clone trooper trained to handle the BARC speeders
Scout troopers have been specially trained for scouting & reconnaissance.
Scout troopers wear lightweight armor that is considerably more flexible than the standard uniform worn by their infantry counterparts, and often-used light Repulsorlift vehicles, such as the 74-Z speeder bike, in the course of their duties, earning them the nickname "biker scouts". Although not wearing the best camouflage for a forest/jungle environment, Scout trooper armor was designed for maximum movement and flexibility during combat. Scout troopers wore white boots with a tan bottom, and one boot was fitted with a pistol holster.
Their helmets can zoom in, use night vision, turn in to polarized snow goggles, & track enemies. They are trained to be more independent thinkers than regular Clonetroopers, and work in pairs. Being scouts, these Clonetroopers are lightly armed with standard orders to retreat and alert regular troops in case of contact with the enemy. They also carry sniper rifles

Clonetrooper: Blizzard Force/Cold Assault
Clone cold assault troopers, trained specifically for battle & survival in extremely cold regions.
Snowtroopers or Blizzard Force are a specialized subsection of clonetrooper infantry. They wear customized armor well-suited to the climate extremes of ice planets. In addition to the hard white armor, their suit incorporated fabric over garments that helped contain heat and terrain gripping boots for slippery conditions. The helmet contains snow goggles & breath warmer cover & breath heater.

Clonetrooper: Zero-G/Vacuum
Are a specialized subsection of clonetrooper infantry. Equipped & trained to capture enemy vessels intact. To perform their missions, space troopers wear a two-meter tall suit of armor, which interfaced with standard Clonetrooper armor. The suit provided a hermetic seal against the vacuum of space and propulsion that allowed space troopers to move & fight in space for extended periods.
In addition, the suit allowed them to carry heavy firepower, turning each trooper into the equivalent of a light tank. Weapon systems included two shoulder mounted, magazine fed grenade launchers, a right gauntlet blaster cannon & a left gauntlet miniature proton torpedo launcher. Each gauntlet also included laser cutters to penetrate ship hulls. A spacetrooper's equipment usually consists of cutting plasma-torches and power vibro-saws for quick entry into a vessel, as well as napalm-like flamethrowers for forcing enemy shipboard troops into confined spaces for capture or containment.
Platoons of forty space troopers are usually deployed from assault shuttles. Enemy capital ships could be easily overtaken with well-organized assaults.

Clonetrooper: Advanced Recon Commandos (ARC)
Advanced Recon Commandos, also known as Advanced Recon Clone troopers or simply ARC troopers, are the elite forces of clonetrooper infantry.
They were formed in response to guerilla tactics. They excel at acquiring new technology by capturing scientists.
They are specially trained in siege breaking, raids, and sabotage, with units ranging from four to forty commandos. Their black armor was based on the scout trooper's light armor and was coated with an advanced polymer called reflect which deflects light and sensor energy. While each mission profile required different loadout, ARC troopers were commonly armed with the Westar-M5 heavy repeating blaster, DC-17a assault rifle, DC-17 hand blasters, and fragmentation and reverse-polarity pulse grenades. When heavier firepower was required, ARCs donned specialized armor to bear the weight of reciprocating quad blasters, PLX-1 missile launchers, or Z-6 rotary blaster cannons.
ARCs received training that gave them access to vehicles, which usually requires a specialized clone trooper to operate. To enhance ground range and mobility, ARCs made use of the BARC speeder, named for the Biker Advanced Recon Commandos who used it. For small squad operations, Advanced Recon Commando pilots piloted LAAT gunships to drop units behind enemy lines. Advanced Recon Commando heavy gunners used heavy weapons.

Swamp troopers are a specialized subsection of clonetrooper infantry. These specialized soldiers were deployed to dense, swamp theaters and wore upgraded, green armor they are trained for evergreen swamp/jungle/forest terrains and use projectile weapons over blasters for better tactics and sniping attacks, they are known to use vibroblades that allowed for easier operations in humid and poisonous environs.

Clone jet trooper provided aerial tactics with jetpacks. A jet trooper was any clone trooper equipped with a jetpack that had gone through special training for use with such equipment.
They utilized their limited flight jetpacks to cover great distances very quickly and gain aerial advantage over their enemies. Jet troopers would generally use DC-15 blasters, because of their lightweight, and their ease of handling.

Provide heavy, close range anti-troop firepower. The clone blaze trooper is frontline close combat infantry support unit and a variant of the jet troopers. Heavily armored and jet-propelled, the hulking figure was seemingly reminiscent of the army's spacetrooper armor, giving rise to rumors and assumptions that the armor was the same.
They were designed to literally "blaze" through enemy lines and to clear accumulated battlefield debris from advancing infantry using a wrist-embedded plasma thrower.

Darktrooper: Droid Troopers:
Special droid troopers.
The dark troopers were advanced battle droids that featured heavy armor, powerful weapons, and jetpacks for increased flexibility and tactical advantage.
They came in three versions: the Phase I dark trooper was a skeletal droid armed simply with a vibro-blade and physical shield; it was primarily a test bed for the later stages as well as the Phase II which featured also the external elements. The Phase III dark trooper was the main unit but it was never fully developed; the originator of the project used the only prototype

Phase I Dark Trooper
The Dark Trooper Phase I was the earliest dark trooper and was little more than a skeletal frame equipped with a vibro-sword attached to its right arm, and a blast shield on its left. Its actual military purpose is unknown (never participated in battle) but it is known that it was used as a guard in some Imperial installations.
Phase II Dark Trooper.
The Dark Trooper Phase II was equipped with the external elements as the suit, a jetpack and an assault cannon fixed to its right hand capable of firing 400 plasma shells and 20 missiles without reloading. It was also capable of being loaded into hyperspace pods for transportation.
Phase III Dark Trooper.
The last and most powerful dark trooper was the standard Dark Trooper Phase III, which dwarfed even the Dark Trooper Phase II, and was intended to be the armor of the next generation of Stormtroopers. Only one dark trooper Phase III prototype managed to be ever constructed; it was in the armor of General Mohc, who tried to use it as an exosuit against Kyle Katarn during a battle onboard the Arc Hammer, where he was defeated. Its weapons were an assault cannon and two shoulder seeker missile launchers hidden under the suit's shoulder plates when not in use.

Hazard troopers are a specialized subsection of clonetrooper infantry.
Hazard troopers wear a very heavy suit of body armor, which offers complete immunity to extreme temperatures, as well as being immune to acidic damage. The armor is also a functioning space suit, which can keep the wearer alive in a vacuum or underwater environment for up to three days. The armor is extremely strong & can resist lightsaber attacks to some extent. Hazard troopers were commonly equipped with either the heavy repeating blaster or the Stoker concussion rifle.

The Variable Altitude Assault Transport/ enforcement (VAAT/e) is the predecessor of the LAAT gunship used by the Republic Security Forces as a rapid troop deployment platform.
It measured 25 meters in length, 7 meters in height, and had a wingspan measuring 25 meters. Its cargo capacity was about 36 cubic meters in the main hold, and it could carry about 15 troops and 1 IM-6 battlefield medical droid.
Its crew consists of one pilot, one copilot/gunner, and two auxiliary turret gunners. It is armed with a concussion missile launcher and two dual heavy laser cannon turrets.

The PX-4 Mobile Command Base is a tracked Mobile Command Center protected by a reflective shield, an outer hull almost half a meter thick, and a secondary hull encompassing the command pod. It was also armed with a heavy laser cannon (turreted).
The vehicle's role was that of an observer & command post, travelling alongside the advancing troops and protecting its command staff (usually seven individuals).
The PX-4´s ability to protect its passengers was so extensive, units of this type even saw service as transports for planetary prefects and governors, some of which lived aboard the vehicle, never venturing outside.
A PX-4 on Yavin IV, in the aftermath of the Battle of Yavin. The onboard sensors and computers continuously updated the staff on the progress of each battle, as they observed every conflict. In addition to receiving incoming transmissions from friendly forces, the PX-4s also monitored enemy transmissions, making them extremely valuable to Imperial intelligence.

Commander training: Combined enhanced tactical knowledge with advanced combat skills. Clone commanders receive flash training to fulfill their advanced roles and are bred with extra capacity for autonomy, tactical thinking, and coordination. In combat, they were often assigned to field command centers, but participated with their fellow clone troopers in combat if the situation required it.

The Academy of Carida is a private state-supported, comprehensive military institution. It formed a triumvarite of elite military institutions along with the academies of Raithal and Corulag. This institution is known by a variety of names such as Caridan Military Academy (CMA) and Carida Academy.
The central focus of the Academy was its training of clonetrooper s. While other branches and sister facilities were tied into the clonetrooper training program, every trainee that passed through the gates of the Academy participated in the basic training and field exercises of the clonetrooper Corps before moving on to their more specialized training. Live fire field exercises provided practical experience as well as the means to test new weapons in combat situations. Clone Trooper captains are specialized Clone troopers bred to act in special missions. They are recognized by the red markings on their helmets and torso armor. The Clone Trooper captains are also assigned to leading companies of 144 Clone troopers. Their weapons are the DC-15 blaster rifle and pulse grenades. They are also trained to handle the Aratech military speeder bikes. Some captains also serve as sharpshooters and scouts. Those clones are armed with long ranged sniper rifles and are tasked with the disruption of enemy infantry.

Clonetrooper commanders are clone troopers bred for leadership roles in the Army.
They lead regiments of 2,304 clone troopers into battle. They are distinguished by yellow-orange markings on their armor and helmets. They are given special training to fulfill their advanced roles, are also bred with extra capacity for critical thinking and tactical coordination, and were allowed more independence. In combat, they were often assigned to any command centre that had been set up though sometimes they participated with their fellow clone troopers if badly needed.

Wear light yet heavily padded crimson & black armor that provides protection against physical attacks. Their sophisticated battle helmet, which is lined with advanced sensors, allows them to work in complete darkness, and contains a COM link scrambler for communication with fellow personnel. A unit commander's helmet is also equipped with a voice-activated heads-up display that showed Other Police positions.
Optional tracking beacon software let a unit commander know the whereabouts of his subordinates at all times.

Clonetrooper: Radioactive Zone Assault
Radiation troopers, also known as Radtroopers are a specialized subsection of clonetrooper infantry. They are well equipped to operate in one of the deadliest terrain types: heavy radiation zones. A lead-polymer substrate that gave protection needed to withstand lethal Grade 5 radiation zone for several hours. Only the Radtrooper suits are proof against extended operations in deadly environments.
While space trooper suits were able to provide ample protection against radiation, they were too cumbersome to operate within planetary gravities.
The distinctive silver & black battle armor of the radiation zone assault troopers is a modification of the standard plastoid Clonetrooper armor & provides protection against radiation as well as biological & chemical expose. It is stress reinforced & contains a heat & radiation reflective coating. The suit also consists of a one-piece wrap-around backpack unit that contains a heat & radiation-cooling unit with energy source & portable environment unit. Their helmets are stress reinforced with automatic polarizing lenses, an integrated COM link & breathing filters. The view plate contains macrobinoculars with blast shield & UV sensors. The seatroopers, also known as aquatic assault clonetroopers, are a specialized subsection of clonetrooper infantry. They are used to maintain a presence on aquatic worlds.
The seatrooper's armor is based on the light design of the scout trooper. It covers a two-piece environmental body glove that gives protection from uncomfortable temperature extremes or toxic water environments.
Their amour is more flexible than standard Clonetrooper designs, preserving & even increasing a trooper's aquatic dexterity. They are equipped with a back-mounted propulsion unit & a pair of propulsion boots with snap-down flippers. The aquatic trooper's regular weapon is a blaster rifle/speargun hybrid.

Sandtroopers or Desert Troopers are a specialized subsection of clonetrooper infantry equipped with modified armor & equipment to withstand the harsh climates of desert planets. Though their armor is similar to that of a regular Clonetrooper, their suits contain an advanced cooling system, which offers better protection from the relentless heat than standard Clonetrooper armor. Their helmets contain lenses that automatically polarize to protect the trooper's eyes, as well as breathing filters. Another notable difference is the shoulder pauldron each Sandtrooper wears. These are used to denote rank, with enlisted personnel wearing black pauldrons, while officers wear white & commanders of several units of these elite soldiers wear orange pauldrons. Additionally, Sandtroopers can operate in hot, wet, tropical environments with slight modifications to their equipment.

The Biker Advanced Recon Commando trooper, also known as the BARC trooper is a specialized clone trooper trained to handle the BARC speeders
Scout troopers have been specially trained for scouting & reconnaissance.
Scout troopers wear lightweight armor that is considerably more flexible than the standard uniform worn by their infantry counterparts, and often-used light Repulsorlift vehicles, such as the 74-Z speeder bike, in the course of their duties, earning them the nickname "biker scouts". Although not wearing the best camouflage for a forest/jungle environment, Scout trooper armor was designed for maximum movement and flexibility during combat. Scout troopers wore white boots with a tan bottom, and one boot was fitted with a pistol holster.
Their helmets can zoom in, use night vision, turn in to polarized snow goggles, & track enemies. They are trained to be more independent thinkers than regular Clonetroopers, and work in pairs. Being scouts, these Clonetroopers are lightly armed with standard orders to retreat and alert regular troops in case of contact with the enemy. They also carry sniper rifles

Snowtroopers or Blizzard Force are a specialized subsection of clonetrooper infantry. They wear customized armor well-suited to the climate extremes of ice planets. In addition to the hard white armor, their suit incorporated fabric over garments that helped contain heat and terrain gripping boots for slippery conditions. The helmet contains snow goggles & breath warmer cover & breath heater.

Clonetrooper: Zero-G/Vacuum
Are a specialized subsection of clonetrooper infantry. Equipped & trained to capture enemy vessels intact. To perform their missions, space troopers wear a two-meter tall suit of armor, which interfaced with standard Clonetrooper armor. The suit provided a hermetic seal against the vacuum of space and propulsion that allowed space troopers to move & fight in space for extended periods.
In addition, the suit allowed them to carry heavy firepower, turning each trooper into the equivalent of a light tank. Weapon systems included two shoulder mounted, magazine fed grenade launchers, a right gauntlet blaster cannon & a left gauntlet miniature proton torpedo launcher. Each gauntlet also included laser cutters to penetrate ship hulls. A spacetrooper's equipment usually consists of cutting plasma-torches and power vibro-saws for quick entry into a vessel, as well as napalm-like flamethrowers for forcing enemy shipboard troops into confined spaces for capture or containment.
Platoons of forty space troopers are usually deployed from assault shuttles. Enemy capital ships could be easily overtaken with well-organized assaults.

Clonetrooper: Advanced Recon Commandos (ARC)
Advanced Recon Commandos, also known as Advanced Recon Clone troopers or simply ARC troopers, are the elite forces of clonetrooper infantry.
They were formed in response to guerilla tactics. They excel at acquiring new technology by capturing scientists.
They are specially trained in siege breaking, raids, and sabotage, with units ranging from four to forty commandos. Their black armor was based on the scout trooper's light armor and was coated with an advanced polymer called reflect which deflects light and sensor energy. While each mission profile required different loadout, ARC troopers were commonly armed with the Westar-M5 heavy repeating blaster, DC-17a assault rifle, DC-17 hand blasters, and fragmentation and reverse-polarity pulse grenades. When heavier firepower was required, ARCs donned specialized armor to bear the weight of reciprocating quad blasters, PLX-1 missile launchers, or Z-6 rotary blaster cannons.
ARCs received training that gave them access to vehicles, which usually requires a specialized clone trooper to operate. To enhance ground range and mobility, ARCs made use of the BARC speeder, named for the Biker Advanced Recon Commandos who used it. For small squad operations, Advanced Recon Commando pilots piloted LAAT gunships to drop units behind enemy lines. Advanced Recon Commando heavy gunners used heavy weapons.

Phase I Dark Trooper
The Dark Trooper Phase I was the earliest dark trooper and was little more than a skeletal frame equipped with a vibro-sword attached to its right arm, and a blast shield on its left. Its actual military purpose is unknown (never participated in battle) but it is known that it was used as a guard in some Imperial installations.
Phase II Dark Trooper.
The Dark Trooper Phase II was equipped with the external elements as the suit, a jetpack and an assault cannon fixed to its right hand capable of firing 400 plasma shells and 20 missiles without reloading. It was also capable of being loaded into hyperspace pods for transportation.
Phase III Dark Trooper.
The last and most powerful dark trooper was the standard Dark Trooper Phase III, which dwarfed even the Dark Trooper Phase II, and was intended to be the armor of the next generation of Stormtroopers. Only one dark trooper Phase III prototype managed to be ever constructed; it was in the armor of General Mohc, who tried to use it as an exosuit against Kyle Katarn during a battle onboard the Arc Hammer, where he was defeated. Its weapons were an assault cannon and two shoulder seeker missile launchers hidden under the suit's shoulder plates when not in use.

Hazard troopers wear a very heavy suit of body armor, which offers complete immunity to extreme temperatures, as well as being immune to acidic damage. The armor is also a functioning space suit, which can keep the wearer alive in a vacuum or underwater environment for up to three days. The armor is extremely strong & can resist lightsaber attacks to some extent. Hazard troopers were commonly equipped with either the heavy repeating blaster or the Stoker concussion rifle.

The Variable Altitude Assault Transport/ enforcement (VAAT/e) is the predecessor of the LAAT gunship used by the Republic Security Forces as a rapid troop deployment platform.
It measured 25 meters in length, 7 meters in height, and had a wingspan measuring 25 meters. Its cargo capacity was about 36 cubic meters in the main hold, and it could carry about 15 troops and 1 IM-6 battlefield medical droid.
Its crew consists of one pilot, one copilot/gunner, and two auxiliary turret gunners. It is armed with a concussion missile launcher and two dual heavy laser cannon turrets.

The PX-4 Mobile Command Base is a tracked Mobile Command Center protected by a reflective shield, an outer hull almost half a meter thick, and a secondary hull encompassing the command pod. It was also armed with a heavy laser cannon (turreted).
The vehicle's role was that of an observer & command post, travelling alongside the advancing troops and protecting its command staff (usually seven individuals).
The PX-4´s ability to protect its passengers was so extensive, units of this type even saw service as transports for planetary prefects and governors, some of which lived aboard the vehicle, never venturing outside.
A PX-4 on Yavin IV, in the aftermath of the Battle of Yavin. The onboard sensors and computers continuously updated the staff on the progress of each battle, as they observed every conflict. In addition to receiving incoming transmissions from friendly forces, the PX-4s also monitored enemy transmissions, making them extremely valuable to Imperial intelligence.
