It is my sad and tragic duty to confirm the reports that President Lord Govenor Daniel Pearce leader of the Dominion of Vetaka and its people was shot 3 times by a male. The incident took place at around 4:00am this morning within the Grounds of the Presidential Palace. The President sustained 3 gun shot wounds from a 9mm Semi Automatic Pistol. The attacker we have identified to be Psychopathic Communist of which the Vetakan State was aware of. We do not believe he was part of any Communist or Socialist nation or group. We belive the attack was inspired by the attackers mental health.
The Presidents condition is serious. He was stablized at the scene before been taken to Theeb Capital Hospital where he is currently undergoing emergancy theatre at this time the outcome of which is unpredicatable. The Dominion of Vetaka would like to make it clear that it blames NO NATION OR GROUP this incident was carried out by a very unwell individual the Vetakan Mental Health unit failed to aid the man and as a result a Review of the Vetakan Mental Health system has begun. With the current international situation on Communism The Dominion of Vetaka will not allow any nation or group to use this attack as a pre-text for any possible International Reaction.
At this time this is all the information we have. A Press Conference will soon be made by the Acting President Vice President Roxanne Wright by the end of the day. Our thoughts and prayers are with President Pearce and his family we hope he pulls through.
