Ankara, Turkey, United Federation of Eurasia
The Cottish and Eurasian Government had a build a strong relationship though trade, it was now the time to build a stronger relationship between the two respected states. Just a state visit was arranged between the two nations to start the process of building better relations.
At Ankara International Airport
The Eurasian Honor Guard stood attention waiting for the King of Cotland plane to land.

Also with them was the Premier of Eurasia Nasir bin Abdullah al Assad, awaiting to meeting the King face to face.
The custom-built 787 Dreamliner, a wedding present to the King and Queen of Cotland by the Fuhrer of Hirgizstan and now put into good use as the official transport for the King and Queen, replacing the two old and fast, but ineffective V-16 Kongeløve royal transport planes, made a smooth landing at Ankara International Airport, a testement to not only the excellence of the pilots, but also to the excellence of the aircraft itself. It was quite a sight, the smooth surface of the large executive jet, all white with only a few small markings such as the Royal Cottish Air Force roundel, the registry number and the crest of the Cottish Realm disturbing the otherwise clean white surface.
The aircraft taxied over to the area where the Eurasian honor guard and the Premier was waiting, coming to a halt at the exact place where the ground controller signalled the pilots to stop the aircraft. Almost simultaniously, a set of stairs were rolled over to the aircraft where the door was opened to reveal...
...one of the Air Force enlisted that served as a steward-slash-handy man aboard the aircraft. The blue-clad man helped guide the stairs into position and looked down to make sure everything was ready before the door was opened completely, revealing two more blue-clad uniformed Air Force men who rushed down the stairs and took up positions on either side, coming to attention as soon as they were in position. At that point in time, two minutes after the aircraft had stopped, the go-ahead was given inside the aircraft for the King to emerge.
And that he did, stepping out from the insides of the aircraft into the doorway, saluting Air Force enlisted #1 briefly as he passed him. The King, dressed in a dark grey tailor-made high-quality suit with a matching shirt and tie, spit-shined shoes and well-trimmed beard and hair, looked out at the honor guard and the Eurasian Premier below for a brief moment, taking in the sight before ascending the stairs calmly, not wanting to rush it and risk falling. As he reached the end of the stairs, Air Force enlisted #2 and #3 saluted their King sharply, a salute that was returned as the King passed them and walked over to the Premier, a friendly smile on his lips and an extended hand.
"Premier, how do you do? It's a great honor to be here."

The Premier shake the hand of the King and said” I am doing well, your highness, its great honor for our humble nation to have you here. Now please follow me to awaiting limo which take us to my residence.”
Just the Premier walked with the King to the limos, which was about two in total, one for the King and Premier and the other for the King staff. The Premier pointed out some landmarks as they drove thought the streets of Ankara, in till they reach the Residence of the Premier.
The Honor Guard opened the steel gates to the residences and the limos pull up to the driveway of the residence. The Premier show the King to the main conference room and both of them took their seats in the leather chairs and the Premier said the following
“I hope this meeting opens new doors of relations between our respected states, wouldn’t you agreed?”
The King smiled as he sat down in the comfortable leather chair.
"Indeed. Our two nations has enjoyed friendly relations for a long time, yet we have yet to have conducted a state visit. It is my profound hope that this visit will be the first of many between our two great nations." The King motioned discreetly with a hand to one of the aides, who appeared carrying a large polished wooden box. The box was handed over to the King with a respectful bow before the aide quietly withdrew, leaving the King to present the box to the Premier.
"I wish to take the opportunity to present to you a humble gift from the Realm to you sir."
Inside the box, a Viking longboat miniature made out of solid gold stood. It was a model of the legendary Ormen Lange, the flagship of King Olav I of Cotland who had reigned Cotland for five years between 995 and 1,000 AD and been instrumental in making the nation a Christian one. The Ormen Lange was, at its time, the mightiest warship in the North, and was a sign of national pride for the Cots. To this day, the greatest warship in the Cottish fleet was called the Ormen Lange class, the incumbent class being the 457-meter long, powerful battleships, of which the Realm had sixteen at its immediate disposal. So, being given a model of the Ormen Lange as a gift was a great honor bestowed upon the Premier by the King. And more presents would follow as the visit progressed.

The Premier took a look what was inside and smiled “ Your Highness, I am greatly honored by receiving such a grand gift as this..I too have gift for you.” The Premier calls for one of his aids to being the gift to the King.
The Aid walked in and bows out of respect to King and give him a gold-inlaid saber which dated back to the Ottoman Era. It was well over 200 years old and still in good condition.
“I hope you enjoy this gift as I have enjoyed your gift, now I would like to discuss matters of state between our two nations, such as creating a free trade agreement between our nations.” Said the Premeir
"I thank you sir," The King said as he accepted the beautiful saber from the Premier. It was a lovely gift, and one which would symbolized the friendship between the two nations. After all, you don't give weapons to your enemy! The weapon was handed over to one of the aides for safe keeping as the King sat back down in the leather chair, preparing himself for negotiation. It was always a tough job, but one the King excelled in and one which he found interesting.
"A free trade agreement is not something the Realm gives away freely. It brings with it great rewards, yes, but also great responsibility." The King paused before he continued. "However, the Realm and the United Federation has been friends for a long time, and the Eurasian nation and its people have proven time and time again that they are friends of the Realm. Therefore, I can safely say that the Realm is most interested in such a free trade agreement with Eurasia. Within which fields do you think of expanding into the Realm?"

“Well your highness…my nation can offer you the following iron, lead, copper, zinc, cotton, tobacco, citrus fruit, cloth, marble, limestone, wheat, beef, lamb, goat, rice, barley, honey, nuts, saffron, and tea. Which I believe are in great demand within your respected state” said the Premier
The King smiled. "Great demand may be a bit of an exagguration, but those goods are all in demand within the Realm. We will gladly import such goods to the Realm, assuming of course that the goods pass the quality controls. We have very high standards in the Realm to among others food and metals, but I'm sure they will meet the Cottish standard, or even excell."
The King paused before he continued.
"There is another subject I wish to speak with you about sir. Namely, the subject of tourism. There is a great wish among Cottish citizens to come and visit the United Federation. They wish to see the lands that once housed the great empires of the Ottomans, the Mesopotamia, Babylon and Persia, just to mention a few. We already have tourists coming to the United Federation, but we have yet to establish an official link between the Realm and Eurasia. That is something I hope that you can help me with accomplishing. I was approached before I left by the Tourist Board, who wanted me to convey their humble request of setting up a tourist office in Eurasia that can co-ordinate with both Cottish tourist companies in the Realm and with tourist companies in Eurasia, to help facilitate tourism to and from both our nations. Would your government support such an undertaking sir?"

The Premier nodded in agreement and said” Why yes, my government will support such a undertaking, we are always welcoming people from other lands to come and see the rich background and history of our nation..all I ask in return is that your nation would be open to tourism from Eurasia to see your nation rich background and history.”
"Naturally, your request is granted." The King said, shifting position slightly. "What other matters did you wish to discuss sir?"

“Why yes, my government would be interest in conducting joint intelligence anti drug operations in order to promote a higher chance of successes in our war against the drug cartels and others..” said the Premier
"The war against drugs is an ongoing quest for my nation," The King said, "And we are most willing to eliminate anyone who attempt to poison Cottish children with their drugs. The Realm would be very interested in using its... special assets in this quest. Did you have anywhere in specific in mind?"

“Well, we in Eurasia are conducting our own war against drugs in the regions of Afghanistan and the frontier regions of Pakistan…so far we manger to take out one of the major drug warlords in Afghanistan, just clipping the drug trade in that region…yet we manger to stop a major shipment of opium which was bound to Europe in Pakistan…its origins were from Waziristan..which is a very remote region within the federation…I believe it will would be in our best interest that we conduct a join operation in taking out these drug lords in that region.. “ said the Premier
"I see." The King said, thinking about the possibilities. While he officially had to confer with the cabinet about most things, the King's word tended to be considered the unofficial law and obeyed by the cabinet. That meant that he could commit the Realm to such an operation which the Eurasians were proposing without problems. "I believe that can be accomplished, but the Realm does not have any territories in the vicinity where we can base the troops, equipment and logistical train necessary for undertaking such an operation. I've been told by my foreign minister that your nation is considering discarding some territories in India. Perhaps if the Realm could take over some of these territories, we could be in a better position to operate more effectively against the druglords. Perhaps in exchange for say Cyprus?"

The Premier nodded and said” Yes, the Federation government is wiling to let go of some regions on our frontiers…in order to better manger the Federation as whole…my government is willing to grant your nation the regions of Gujarat and Rajasthan, return for Cyprus.”
The King nodded, "Such a trade would be agreeable for the Realm. I trust you will allow us to maintain the strong ties between the island of Cyprus and the Realm, such as allowing dual citizenship for those who so wishes, et cetera."

“Yes, if the same is done for the regions that we will be handing over to you. If yes, then we are in agreement I hope.” Said the Premier
"Naturally," The King replied, smiling as he offered his hand to the Premier to settle the deal. When the journalists would ask what the two heads of state had discussed, both sides could say that they had enjoyed "positive and fruitful discussions".
"I must say that I'm very excited about being here," The King said after the two had shaken hands. "I don't get the chance to travel as often as I'd like to. I'm sure you'll agree with me when I say that it takes quite a bit of work, running a country. How is the family by the way? You must forgive me for not asking such an important question earlier."

“Oh they are doing well, and how is the Queen doing recently?”asked the Premier
The King smiled when the Premier asked about his wife.
"She's doing well, considering her condition. A lot of morning sickness and some mood swings, but I've been told to expect that. She asked me to convey her appologies for not being able to join me on this visit, but unfortunately her schedule has had to be reduced since we found out about the baby."

The Premier nodded and said, “ I am glad to hear that you two will soon be expecting a baby, I wish your wife and you the best of luck. Children can be a second job at times, I should know…my two twin daughters( about the age of 6) tend to be handful at times..but its worth it in my opinion.”
