“Today rebels broke into the unfortified he was staying at while he was vacationing in the southern province and with him he had only brought a group of twenty guards which left him in a state of openness which would never had happened at the main palaces of the Imperial family which always have entire regiments of the Imperial guard which make it impossible for anything save for a full attack on it to manage to pierce their defenses.

Yet, back to the main topic of tonight the Emperor had been killed by a rebellious group that has long been underground until just a few weeks before the attack. When they had remerged they had threatened to kill the reigning Emperor Olaf whom had managed to arrest nearly all of their group a decade earlier. But, they had sent a letter in which they have vowed to gain revenge by killing the whole of the immediate Imperial family.

To readdress this a imperial inquiry had been sent to root out the rebels and arrest everyone whom was part of this group. Despite, the threat the Emperor Reginald decided to go to the area in which the group was at its strongest.

The rebel group took advantage of this and launched a massive attack of hundreds of well armed members whom managed to easily overwhelm the twenty guards and the Imperial staff who took up arms in response to the attack were killed.

As the attack was in its final stages an entire legion of Imperial soldiers, whom had been garrisoned in a fort on the outsides of the camp, came and killed all the rebels, but it was to late as the Emperor, all the guards, and only ten wounded survivors of the staff were saved in the end out of the formerly dozens there.

To add to the redress of the attack the Imperial Secret Service had rounded up nearly a thousand other members of the group. As for them they will face charges of mass murder, treason, plot to overthrow the government, planned murder, and a few other charges. The result of these charges in death for a vast majority of them and life in prison for the rest.

For the death of the Emperor Reginald there will be a national day of mourning day tomorrow and we ask all to pray for him and to honor his memory.

The main reason for their attacks is in that they sought to usurp the monarchy and to install a communist goverment in the place of the Emperor and Parliment.

After seeing the obvious respect this man had garnered Honako wishes to commemorate him in there own way - he shall have a picture on the walls of The Headquarters Of The Commission in Jabero which are filled with respected and dignified men of Honako's and the worlds past, and a small statue in the Garden Square in the center of the same building - a place that pays respects to former leaders. We will not do mass as we are not a religious set of rulers, though we have encouraged our people of faith to commemorate him.
