GRAND IMPERIUM WITHDRAWS FROM APOC
Emperor Paulus Whyatica I unilaterally withdrew from the Alliance for the Preservation of Civilization today, the latest in a massive series of reforms going on in the post-McMillin Empire. Growing distrust against the Imperivm Doomanvm and the other, more oppressive regimes in the Alliance for the Preservation of Civilization has caused Whyatican-APOC relations to chill ever since the invasion of Kahanstan, an action taken by the deceased Prime Minister which caused an international uproar and the brief warfare within the Imperial capital. A great majority of civilians polled approve of the Emperor's action, most citing their dislike for Doomanum, Generia, and other nations that were fought against in the Last Great War. However, the battle lines between the Sovereign League and Coalition Against Democracy are being drawn anew, as the Imperium strengthens it's relations with the League, and Doomanum prepares to engage in hostile action against the United States of Allanea.
The Emperor declined to comment on how he would respond if a full-out war broke out between Doomanum and Allanea, noting that there were far greater issues to deal with as the Midlonia Crisis develops, with Midlonia perplexingly not responding to Paulus' famous speech two weeks ago.
