In the beginnig of the Diaspora, what is known as the "Second Yugoslavian Civil war" breaks out, as violence between Croats, Bosnians and Serbs break out as the "Serbian Liberation Front" comprising of many Serbian military units invades Bosnia-Herzegovina. Germany sends several divisions of troops to assist, as widespread evacuations begin. After grueling fighting, the Serbs are driven back, the Croat-German forces find themselves somewhat trapped. They march all the way to vienna, where they begin their own evacuation looking for a friendly fleet to help them.

Meanwhile, across the globe, North Korea invades South Korea. Japan sends the bulk of their forces to assist the South Koreans, and a similar situation occurs. The Japanese army retreats to Pusan, evacuating to the last waiting Japanese ships, and they agree to pick up the Croat-German force. The new force agrees to name themselves the Haneastic League in rememberance of the old country and the commercial empire, aspiring to do the same.

An envoy from his Imperial Majesty Emperor Antonius IV of the Star Empire of Lesser Ribena requests a meeting at the highest level to discuss the Weybum system. As this system is equidistant from both homeworlds it is proposed that joint control of it is established. Both sides should be free to develop the system in cooperation with each other and a small military force from both sides should be present to protect the system (a few battleriders each with some fighters and ground troops would probably suffice). A non-agression pact is also offered between the two nations on condition that this matter is resolved amicably.

EDIT: Just got your TG! If you like an alliance or mutual defence pact can also be arranged. You're also welcome to anything else in G sector, I just want a small force in Weybum so that my homeworld can't be attacked easily. Oh, and i'll probably also claim Avat which is to the coreward side of sector G just so that if (when!) the aliens get here I'll have a presence in the directiomn they'll be coming from, but that's the limit of what I want in sector G.

The Lesser Ribenen ambassador is greeted warmly.

The proposal on Weybum is agreed to and the Haneastic League proposes a joint research center to solidify the alliance of the two great nations

Champren sends an ambassador to the Haneastic home system, Dryden. The ambassador hold a letter and has been instructed to give it to the Haneastic State Department.
The letter reads
"Dear ministers of the Haneastic League,
The Champrenian government would like to discuss the possibilities of future relations between our two nations. We realize that both our nations are surrounded by powerful nations and the need for allies is great. Moreover, Champren proposes an exchange of ambassadors and the establishment of respectable embassies."

The Haneastic League approves of this, and will send an ambassador immediately.

The Haneastic League issues claims on the Tigo, Arrow Rock, Depot, Nuqual, Hold, Gilgamesh, Yossem, Chief, Megelina, Remington, Layne, and Didinka systems.
