Lucionn
Description:
The Lucionn race is basically a race of vampires. They are typically fairly tall and strong, with nice curves and built muscles. Strangely the race consists of more than 50 percent females, leading to the question of whether there is something genetically involved. They somehow have achieved immortality to natural deaths, only being able to be killed in a small set of ways. They are deathly afraid and poisoned by Gargantua (the sun). It literally burns their skin away for some reason. They have sharp teeth and have been known to suck each other's blood, but always ritualistically and never violently. They are a violent race on occasion though, and typically prepare themselves for self-defense. Every member of the country owns some sort of weapon. They are also highly susceptible to bullets for some reason, and being devoured alive will also kill them. They are a smart race with a great ammount of intelligence, especially on geographical and militaristic matters. They are nocturnal and prefer to live at night, and thus their nation developed on the dark side of Halion.

Government:
The government of Lucionn is based in Ochea. It is primarily driven by defense and religious issues and is based around a sole leader. The "Kha" (Also known as the "Lord" in Lucionn street lingo) is the head of the Lucionn Council. The council is comprised of six people, one from each major guild in the nation. The ten guilds are:
Lucionn- The chieftan guild. The "Kha" is always the representative of this guild. It is the group of Lucionns who are loyal to preserving the race.
Ditaria- The warrior guild. The representative from this guild is typically a great leader or general in the armed forces of Lucionn. This guild aims at destroying the enemies of Lucionn.
Dentaria- The protectorate guild. A great leader with defensive ideals is the representative for this group. Their goal is to keep the Lucionn race from harm, and protect the land at all costs.
Jorgon- The guild of the gods. The race's high priestess, called the "Goma", is always the representative for this religious based guild. It is a highly loyal group of Lucionns who base everything on their religion and their goal is cherishing it.
Stalon- The passion guild. Any obsessive Lucionn with brains and enthusiam could be the council representative for this guild. They are a very enthusiastic and extreme group of Lucionns, and also are the smallest guild. They are typically viewed with disdain by the other factions.
Q'Vrong- The wisdom guild. The leader of this following is a provenly wise Lucionn. This guild is hardcore on literature, the sciences, math, and anything that contributes to their education. They are also highly rooted in the ideal of 'practical knowledge'... or in other words common sense.
Each of the six representatives has an equal hearing at council, and each is able to state their opinion before any decision is made. The council is methodical and practical, and they usually agree on most issues for the good of Lucionn. When something is debatable, they call for a vote and majority wins simply. If there is a tie, the Kha breaks it.
On simpler matters of less importance, the Kha makes decisions on his own. He essentially has dictatorship at any moment if he chose to seize the chance do it, but most Kha's are so sensible that they would never do such a thing.
The guild representatives are voted by every member of the guild for terms of ten Halion years. After the term is up the reigning representative may choose to run again for innumerable ammount of times. However, once a Lucionn has been defeated in an election, they may never run again according to Lucionn laws.
Geographic Breakdown:
The Lucionns are spread out among the darkened portion of Halion (so that they can avoid most of Gargantua's rays), and are typically very bunched up where they live. The nation is broken up into six provinces, with each corresponding to a guild. All the citizens of those provinces are then the members of that guild.
There are sixteen main cities in the nation of Lucionn, and they are typically gatherings of the guild members together in a small area.
