Aschenhyrst Defense Industries, LTD is a government owned company operating under the authority of the Ministry of Defense. production is primarily for domestic consumption although sales to allied nations are allowed. Aschenhyrst Defense Industries produces the following weapons and systems : SMALL ARMS- M1911A1 pistol, M16A4/M4A1 Assault Rifle, M14 Designated Marksman Rifle, M249 SAW, M240B GPMG, M2HB MG, M203 Grenade Launcher(these small arms are produced in Mediterranican Union Standard Calibers for domestic use and other Calibers for exportation . Vehicles(transport and armored) HMMVW, M1A1 Bradley AFV, Stryker AFV. Armor and Artillery : M1A1 Abrams MBT, M109 Palladin 105mm Howitzer. Rotary Aircraft: AH64 Apache , UH60 Blackhawk and Variants,CH64 Chinook. Fixed-wing Aircraft: F-16 Falcon, F-18 Hornet, F-22 Raptor, F-35 Lightining, AC-130 Specter, A-10 Thunderbolt, AV-8B Harrier, KC-135 Stratotanker. Naval Products: Nimitz class carriers, Iowa class battleships, Arleigh Burke class destroyers. many more products are under negotiation to produce or classified information. the Kingdom of Aschenhyrst is a founding member of the "League of Allied Royal Countries" Defensive Alliance along with belonging to the "Mediterranican Union" and for security reasons cannot state all of the capablities of its military per obligations of collective defense for its allies.

http://cain.ulst.ac.uk/images/symbols/ulster2.gifthe Royal Army is comprised of approximately 10,000,000 active troops and an additional 7,500,000 active reservists. the Royal Army is divided into ten army groups. each army group is comprise of 15 active divisions: 4 armored, 6 infantry, 3 artillery,1 cavalry(air cav) and 1 airborne. there are also 5 reserve divisions: 1 each armored, infantry, artillery, air cavalry and airborne. soldiers are armed with M16A4 or M4A1 assault rifles with 4 soldiers per squad armed with M14 Designated Marksman Rifles. approximately 50,000 troops are in the special forces, who are able to deploy anywhere in the world within 24 hours.

Space Command is primarily charged with sattellites and missile offense/defense,along with control over domestic airspace. the other 4 commands are assigned to their resective global co-ordinates. each global command has a tactical transportation wing, who is charged with deployment and resupply of the other armed forces worldwide.

Each Fleet Command has four active fleets and one reserve fleet at its disposal. Central Fleet Command is responsible for defense of territorial waters, while the other 4 are charged with projecting the Kingdoms power around the globe. the navy is structured around the carrier battle group and a large collection of battleships. the navy also boasts a large submarine force. a unit of Naval Infantry (special forces) is attached to all of the fleets. each carrier batle group is comprised of one carrier, two battleships, four destroyers, four cruisers, eight supply/support ships and may or may not have an unspecified number of submarine escorts.

http://cain.ulst.ac.uk/images/symbols/uvfflag2.gifthe Royal Marines are comprised of 1,000,000 active troops and 500,000 reservists. the marines are divided into 5 divisions and are equiped with air, land and naval assets. marines are armed primariliy with the M16A4/M4A1 Assault Rifle and 4 marines per squad are armed with the M14 Designated Marksman Rifle. all marines, regardless of what assignment they have, are 1st class riflemen. anyone not capible of meeting the marksmanship standard for the marines is either denied admitance or removed from service.

the Ministry of Homeland Security is in charge of the Kingdom`s Coast Guard, Border Patrol, Police and Royal Security Forces as well as Diplomatic Security. the Ministry supplies its forces with the same equipment issued to the regular armed forces. their are 5,000,000 troops deployed by the Ministry. the coast guards primary objective is to protect territorial waters, whether it is routine inspections on vessels, drug interdiciton or stopping illegal immigration from the sea. Coast Guard is also tasked with rescue mission within the territorial waters of the Kingdom. Border Patrol`s primary mission is to secure the borders from terrorist threats, illegal immigration, drug smugglers and has stations at every major port of entry into the Kingdom. the Police force is a national police force, having jurisdiction thoughout the Kingdom. primarily tasked with law enforcement, the police are also tasked with keeping tabs on subversive elements within society. the Royal Security Forces are comprised of the most loyal members of all the armed forces. these troops are tasked with the protection of the King and other members of the royal family along with protecting cabinet ministers and other high ranking officials. Diplomatic Security Forces are tasked with providing security to both our diplomats abroad and foreign diplomats within the Kingdom.

perhaps the most valuble resource in the Kingdom is its citizens. citizens of the Kingdom of Aschenhyrst have the right to keep and bear arms of their choosing. most reservist soldiers are allowed to keep their issue weapon at home with them, so they can be ready for duty at a moments notice. the only restrictions placed on private arms ownership within the Kingdom are ones preventing criminals, mentally unstable persons, persons suspected of treason and foreigners. all of these people are barred from owning any kind of weapon.
