This is a crime/legal thriller. Sign-up if you're interested.

There are two types of people in the world: Those with power; and those without. A symbol of those with power are corporations, with limitless funds and connections across the nation. A young attractive woman is gruesomely murdered in a city park. Her death cries foul from the start as the police conduct a shabby investigation which leads to a seemingly uninvolved man who is arrested and sent to prison for his crimes. The man was a marketing advisor for Winfield Firearms Company, the woman was a secretary for the gun manufacturing giant as well. Certain clues lead to a powerful executive being involved. The woman's sister then sues the company for the wrongful death of her sister. Advocacy groups clamor to her as she asks the assistance of a trial lawyer and his team. But everything is not what it appears to be. They are pitting themselves against a powerful opponent who hides a secret so powerful, that certain people will do anything to keep it a secret. They struggle to unravel the truth behind the woman's death. A trail of lies, betrayal, and blood money run deep. Will they discover the truth? Or will someone pay the ultimate price?

Could I play as "The Eliminator"? (Based on the movie with that name, which has a slightly similar plot, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger...)

Basically, a secret agent that is specialised to make people who need protection "disappear", so that they cannot be found by their enemies. When the womans sister is threatened, Arnold gets the job to bring her to safety. He barely manages to save her during a fire-fight, and soon realizes that several members of his own agency (including his boss) might be involved in the plot. The plot deapens, and Arnold and his new companion decide to try to steal crucial information, and release it to the media. This plan, of course, leads to multiple explosion-packed action-scenes. Also, the womans lawyer (Sean Murdock) soon realizes the need for him and his family to "disappear".

...just a thought... it might make the thread more interesting for RPers...

Btw. nice new thread Kuli... *thumbs up*

That's a bit extreme. This is similar to some works by John Grisham. I'd certainly welcome you being a part of this rp but that character's a bit too extreme. You could be a ''consultant'' for the company, like their investigator who intimidates the opposition and digs up dirt on them.

hmm... not really like me... but if this thread get's any other participants, then I'll think up another character... probably a member of the Board at Winfield Arms who is left out of the loop by his collegues, and when finding out the plot, tries to help the unfortunate woman... or somethin like that...
