Hurricane Karen a vicious catagory 5 Hurricane is enroute to Aqua Anu, a nation composed of 11 islands is now under a LEVEL 1 EMERGENCY . This may be one of the strongest to hit in nearly 10 years, and the Queen and Princess hope they are well.

In Mac Anu the capital city people prepared for the worst. 7 year old Kaley McKnight, sat in class anxioulsy listning to the teachers safety tips, before school would be let out for storm conditions. Her older brother and sister we're in the next classes.

"Now when the Hurricane does hit, it's inprotant to know flooding is inveitable. Although the cannals will be drained, and the see walls will be shut, there will be massive floods. It's important to stay with your families at all times. Make sure you have your preparedness kits ready."

The Bell rang. "Becareful going home. Go strait home."

Thunder crashed loudly. Kaley buttond up her raincoat, and dashed into the halls, and straight into her sister. "Hey Kaley."

"Lilly, are we going to be underwater?"

"No silly. Jim hurry up."

Her twin brother Jim came out, also battond down a heavy rain coat.

"Let's go mom will worry if we take to long."

They struggled through the harsh weather, to their small appartment.

"Good you are all home." Their mother said. They all continued doing storm prep.


Mac Anu General Hospital 12:20 P.M. ETA to Land Fall of Karen 16:37:33:11

Nurse Alexis Smith was tending to her patients, trying to remain calm and keep them calm under this terrible times. Her patinets were of all age ranges from adult to child. "Hey Molly how are you doing today?" She said swetly to a little child.

"I'm okay."

"Can you breath in for me?"

Alexis listend through her stephascope.

"Is there going to be a bad storm?"

"Well yes, but this hospital can withstand it." Alexis really couldn't say that for sure. "Dr. Heimmer will be in a few moments, you just sit tight."

"Alexis, did you hear? We've been upgraded to a Level 1 Emergency."

"Yeah I saw it."

Alexis removed her white lab coat, she was wearing a pair of shorts and a tank top. The A.C. had to be shut off to conserve power. All medical personall please report the the staff room, all personal to the staff room.


Every gatherd in the cramped room. The Cheif of Administrator stood up on a tabel and quited down everyone. "We just got new orders from the Royal Ministry of Health, we need to evacuate all abled persons. That means anyone that can be moved with no significant danger to it will be moved. There is no word on the IRCO or anyone else a communication has been sent out for Air-Evacs by the plenty to come right away. In the mean time our own Air Medical Chopper has been runing rounds but it can only do so much. Let's get to work getting everyone ready to be moved."


OPEN COMMUNIQUE: AQUA ANU is currently in a state of emergency, preparing to brace a sever storm. We need to remove people from our centeral hospital. In additon Aqua Anu will need post storm recovery. We are currently a contributor of the Independent Red Crystal Organization so we call on other IRCO contributors to help

Both Mikaux and Subaru followed there assitants to a private boat for their transport. It was already bobbing up and down. "They're in, go go!"

The boat shoved off from the dock and sailed north beyond Mac Anu. They would arrive at the Head of the Royal Navy where they would watch over the country from there.

News has spread fast of the impending doom of Hurricane Karen on the nation of Aqua Anu, and a rushed meeting of the Honako Independence Commission has led to this decision...

The Oppressed Peoples of Honako understand the distress your nation must be going through at the prospect of such destruction. Therefore, as a gesture of international aid, and given we are only a small country, we are willing to prepare in advance food rations for up to ten days for 10,000,000 of the worst affected people. We will not supply funds but will supply manpower to help your country recover in the form of medical staff and 10,000 army personal if wanted. These will only be dispatched if the Hurricane damage is bad enough to warrent such help.

These will all be prepared in reserve and used depending on the destruction of the Hurricane. We hope though that things do not get that bad.

The Honako Independence Commission

The Armed Republic of Aurum Domus will send two White Knight Cargo ships stocked with food, medicine, and other necessary items. The ships will depart as soon as the storm clears from the Aurum Domus Orbital Weapons Platform.

The Constitutional Monarchy of Aziuz would be willing to contribute to the stabilization of your nation after the devastating effects that a category five hurricane may have on your nation. Therefore, the Aziuz government is preparing to airlift 30 million tonnes of rations to your nation as well as sending in a small ten man water purifier unit along with the air lift to ensure that the people of your nation have clean water to drink as well as ensuring no water-borne diseases effect more of the populace and causing a second calamity.

The winds and rain were now picking up. Karen was now hours away. Another family was making an attempt to brace for the worse. A young teenage girl was trying to comfort her baby sister. "Shh Madison it's okay it's okay." The wind was just howling making the baby increasingly nervous.

"Is she doing any better, Katy?" The mother asked. She just shook her head the mother took the baby. "Oh it's okay Madi, it's okay."

"Okay here is Karen at 24:20, Karen at 11:10, Here's Karen Now. By judging by the size of this, looks like it's going to be a hard hit."

"What do we have on Storm Surge Predicions?"

"Were looking at several feet. Unless this storm dies down, let's face it, half of everything will be underwater when this is over."

Lilly was doing her best to keep calm her self and her younger siblings. The mother however was deeply worried because she was watching the news.

"We have the bands now apporaching the area, so it's only a matter of time before we really see the full effects of this hurricane"

She shut it off. "Luilly, honey why don't you get your violin out and play something?"

"Sure."

Cathy Ayers was a singel mother to a young daughter. Her son was grown and on tour with the Navy. Her daughter however was deaf and mute. Her daughter signed to her mother telling her she was scared. Her mother signed back giving her comfort. She held her and rocked her

The first eye wall was now upon Aqua Anu. Every island was being torn apart by the wind and the water. A lone fisherman who got caught in the storm was now clinging to dear life was swept away. In Mac Anu there was a tall office building which was now overcrowded with people fleeing their flooding homes. However the windows were slowly going with the wind. Pretty soon the windows all ripped off, creating a major wind tunnel effect, many people were being blown out and falling into the churning waters bellow. Nearby a small family was trapped outside fortunaley between very heavy and very sturdey beams, but gallons of water was pouring down on them. Another young man was despertly trying to escape in a tiny boat which was quickly toppled by a wave.


Whiteman Family-United States of Grub

Lilly and Madison Whiteman narrowly escaped the storm. They evacuated by their own personal boat hours before land fall of Karen, but it was still very stormy on the seas and the effects were being felt here with rain. Madison watched the T.V. in the Center where they were staying. "Hotchoclate honey?"

"Thanks mom. It looks bad."

"I know. I hope thoes who were foolish enough to stay behind, will get out."

Aqua Plant Azure Island, Aqua Anu

The water purification plant was being batterd by the wind. The men and women inside were struggling to maintain power which magnatically sealed the Azure Island Hurricane gates. But the breakers kept going. As one man reached to restore the breaker he was electorcuted causing any and all power to ceace. Now the gates were slowly being pushed open by the crashing waves and wind. Pretty soon they opend enough to let in a surge of water, Azure island was going to suffer.

Port Anya was so far doing well for it's self however it was mostly suburban housing. As for Ophu the Navy Fort was water tight. The navy men and women watched the horror. Once the storm cleared they would be on duty to clean and recover.

Crystal Lake now completly under water. People were huddled at the top of the tallest structures which were apartment complexes.

New Venice was beaten to it's last whim. Every house was now blown down and people who stayed clung to what little debries was left. Two twin sister were amongst them. Both had lost a majority of their clothes after being sucked by a water spout. Their names were Bell and Holly and now they were seperated from their father and all alone.

In Magdalen the large Catholic Chruch was over crowded and already flooding. Some people were so dissoriented they didn't care or notice the water. The Mosiach style glass collapsed, and pretty soon the doors bust open with a high amount of storm serge water. Pearl was just ravaged, home to mostly wealthy it didn't survive any better than Crystal Lake.

Now the Eye came over Aqua Anu, calm was in the air as well as an errie silence. Though some water spouts remained.

The Royal Sever Storms Labratory was now a victem of the storm. It hasn't been able to endure much. Thoes reporters brave enough to stay behind were holding on for dear life. Three in the station were already dead. In the water floated a storm guage. The needle was burried at 156 MPH/250 km/h it was now busted which means the winds have suprassed that of an ordinary Category 5. Could this be the infamously fictious Category 6? Dramatized in cheesy TV disaster movies?

"Impossible!" cried one of the Meteorologists. This was actually the worst storm he's ever experienced. And it still wasn't over. This was only the Eye, and of course there would be thoes wishfully thinking the storm is over but will get trapped in the second round. Karen wasn't done yet. This bitch of a storm still had a lot more to do, and it stalled the nation was as good as doomed out of existance.

Some foreing reporters were hitting the streets.

"Live in Mac Anu where the first Eye Wall of Karen has ravaged this island, the storm serge is unbelivably high most of Mac Anu is flooded and several buildings are already catching fire or slowly crumbling!" There was the sound of a loud explosion. "We are constantly running into bodies therefore it's very likely many have already been killed and there still could be a lot more. We are going to go off and take shelter but will contiune taping all the storm coverage for you."

It was a cold raining day as the sound of heavy equipment could be heard "come on get that stuff loaded on to the ship" a soldier yelled out as ships were being loaded with supplies. Some of the ships had already left with destroyer escorts and even those destroyers had supplies. They would arrive a couple days later.

As soon as Vetakan Forigen Affairs had recieved Authorization to deploy aid to Aqua Anu the Fleet had set sail out of Helgan Naval Base quickly as possible. They where at full speed for the fleet and wanted to arrive and help the People of Aqua Anu. For Vetaka this was payback, The Aqua Anu's had deployed to assist Vetaka during its struggle against its pirate pest. As a result for many involved in this mission this was Personal. It was time for Vetaka to repay one of her debts.

"Comms Update Command of our position. Inform them and the Aqua Anu our ETA is 10 Hours." instucted Barber

ZAFT forces relief fleet

"Max speed we need to get there ASAP" The captain of one of the ships said. The supplies they had were needed so they had to get there fast. Two tranport planes were sent ahead with a quick response team outfited with basic rafts and medical supplies. It would be about 36 hours before the ships arrived at Aqua Anu, but only about 3 hours before the QRT got there to begin with recovery efforts.

The nation of Honako has sent off the aid ships containing it's promised food packages. They should arrive within 24 hours. We wish you luck.

ZAFT forces QRT transport aircraft

"My god look at that storm, we cant get in there till a window opens up or we land to the north and you boys head south" the pilot yelled to the crew on the aircraft "We are not even there yet it might head north before we get there just enough for us to land" a soldier yelled back to the pilot "The airport is probably under water we will probably have to land in a field near by" he continued to yell at the pilot trying to be heard over the loud engines.

Aqua Anu Aid and Support Fleet, Sea en Route to Aqua Anu, ETA 2 Hours:

Rear Admiral Barber was the Vetakan Aid Fleet Commander. He was briefing his Command Staff:

"Ok listern up. We all know the importance of this mission to the Govenrment and to us. The Aqua Anu helped us during our time of need so today we help them. On Arrival we will sweep our area of operations and survey the damnage. From their we will deploy our medical team to the hospital and prioritise casulties. From their we will begin transportation to Mercy Hospitals. At the same time our combat forces will deploy in support of Local Law Enforcement. The bottum line is that our troops are under the basic command of the police. Our troops will also secure a dock and landing strip to begin building up aid. The Engineers will re establish water supplies and make safe anything that is posing a serious threat to public safety. Ok people lets go to win Understood?"

"Yes Sir" came a cheer of replies.

"Good Dismissed" replied the Admiral

Akiko was busy with the phones and preparing the aid fleets to Aqua Anu. With Elenore and Karou out of the country it was up to her. Aqua Anu had put their lives on the line to aid the Hanover War and now they needed to return the favor.

"Yes how much longer? Okay cut that in half. Hold on. Akiko here, do we have our anphibious craft ready? Good, once the storm has cleared we will need to land right on the water. Of course they don't have an airport for heaven's sake man! Okay there are five other nations helping let's be cooperative, and make srue their Royal Navy knows. Thank you."

She hung up the phones, "phew."

"Busy day?" Alex asked

"I don't know how Elenore has always stayed so calm. Maybe I might rethink running for Prime Minister."

Alexed laughed. "Hey your doing the right thing by assuming responsiblity in Elenore's absence."

"All acounted for. Between the six of us we will have enough to feed them for a year-and-a-half."

As for Post Storm Civil Law Enforcement the Vetakan Security Forces will provide support and advice to your local police force and army. Ultimatly all decsions on Law Enforcement will taken by your police force Vetaka will provide Military Grade Support and general peacekeeping duties.

Over hurricane

"We can’t get down there" the piloted yelled to the team "What’s the closest area!?" a soldier yelled to him. The pilot pointed his finger to a field some distance from the hurricane "We can set you down there but you will have only 40 minutes to take shelter before the hurricane is on top of you" the pilot yelled to them "Alright contact ground control if they don’t respond then assume its been taken out and land any way" the soldier yelled to them. The Co-Pilot got on the radio "This is ZAFT Military transport Echo two forty seven carrying a small quick reaction relief force, requesting permission to land in a field several kilometres north of the hurricane" The CO-pilot repeated the message two more times.

Sadly bad weather conditions have made it impossible for our food package ship to reach you. We will send it right after the storm is over.

The Honako Independence Commission

"Okay here is what we have so far your majesties, the eye is currently over the country and within the next 25 minutes the next eye wall will move over."

"The second eye-wall is always more deadly than the first." Mikaux said.

"In theory, yes. Damage so far is looking beyond catastrophic, this is indeed the worst storm we have seen in 10 years. Not only are we getting the severity of Karen's winds we are also getting adverse effects of storm serge and water spouts as they come ashore they become near full force tornado's."

Subaru crossed her self "How horrible are we talking, death toll wise?"

"You have to be lucky to survive this."

"We should have ordered everyone out."

"That's the price we pay for living here too long. Mother, I know you aren't one for God, but will you please pray with me?"

"Of course sweetheart."

Both of them exited the room back to their cabin. They both nelt down and Subaru began to pray. Mikaux wasn't religious like her daughter, she was agonistic, but she always supported her daughter.

Tomoyo was reading through the paper of Hurricane Karen. Kurona was millions of miles away and it was unlikely Karen would reach them but Tomoyo felt a sense of compassions since Kurona's own run in with nature's wrath. "I think I'd like to tour the disaster scene. See what I can do."

"I have made the arrangments your Highness."

"What can we give them, anything?"

"This year was a good year for farms all around. We have a great abundance of food."

"What about soliders, you remember what happend here, anarchy and chaose was breaking out left and right."

"We can do that as well."

"Find farmers and ranchers that didn't have a good year, I'm sure they will need a job to support their family."

"Yes your grace, right away."

The calm center of the eye had passed and now the second eye wall was approaching fast. The rain, wind, lighting, and thunder began once again with full force. A poor young lady with her small daughter were huddled together behind their only shelter. Water was pouring down on them in massive ammounts. "Hannah, hold on babe, just hold on!" The waves pounded through what was left of the storm gates water was now flooding all of Aqua Anu, anyone unfortunate enough to be locked on the streets was now in a death trap of debries and a suction to pull them out to sea. Any tall buildings flooded completly forcing people to the roofs no window could hold anything any longer windows were blowing out of their buildings and people were being swept by the wind. Anything left standing from the first blow had been blown down.

Mac Anu General

Alexis had to shuffle more patients above the water. As she was running down the hall a celing pannel fell on her with plenty of water. The bulding was shaking in the violent winds. She pushed it off and contiued running. She ran into the room where she visted earlier, it was Molly's room. The wall was torn away and in the distance a tonado was bearing down on them. She found little Molly hiding in the corner wimpering. She was soaked to the bone and bleeding. Alexis picked her up and ran as fas as she could.

McKnight Family

The McKnight's not holding out well enough. Their appartment was already flooding to the max level it could hold. They were already at the celing level. All took their last breath and slipped underwater.

Ayer's

Ayer's was on a civilan rescue boat being tossed in the violent seas. She held very tightly to her daughter and could see the water spout rip the hospital apart.

Trucks with supplies were loaded off and the supplies were unloaded "Alright pilot your clear to take off, see you back home in a few weeks" The commanding soldier said. He then ran over to a truck which was being loaded up as the engines from the planes started up. As the planes began to take off, the last of the medical supplies were loaded into the four trucks, and they drove off looking for a place to take cover untill the storm passed. To do this they would get to the nearest town or village to the storm and ask the locals for shelter.

The storm at long last subsided. The Queendom was in utter ruins thoses lucky to survive were stunned and shocked. Boat were overturned buildings were in ruins people scoured around and instantly began looting and taking what they could. There was a bunch on a tiny boat just huddled together. The Royal Navy was now enroute to beging the clean up process. This was the most devastating hurricane to hit Aqua Anu.

Honako has now dispatched the food ships to your country now that the storm has stopped. It contains basic food supplies for a few months for now 15,000,000 of your worst affected citizens and health supplies such as drugs and medicine. It should arrive with in 24 hours.

The Honako Independence Commission

After the storm passed the QRT loaded up and heading towards to coast as fast as possible. Meanwhile the ZAFT relief fleet had arrived off the coast and hover craft were being loaded with supplies and small boats. The sky was still grey and it was almost night fall so ZAFT forces had to move fast. When the QRT reached a coastal city they could not believe what they were seeing but in the distance there could see the ZAFT fleet loading up. They went to the only above water area they could find, a highway over pass near the water line. It was still raining even though the storm had passed, just some rouge clouds it seemed. They began to set up the tents as the two search teams put there boats into the water and began to move out. One soldier stuck a stick in the water he couldn't reach the bottom even with a five meter long pole (pole has several sections that just screw on). They went into the core of the city since it was the closest, they came across several officer towers after a few seconds of driving, one soldier then pulled out a megaphone and turned it on "Please remain were you are, this is for your own safety, if your are injured or with some one injured please signal us with candles, a flash light or something that can get our attention, please only signal us if its a serious injury" he said to them using the megaphone.

The Kingdom of Emerald springs is sad to hear of your state, we will rush food and supplies for your citizens, and cleanup crews will help
