Tolvanic Army
The bulk of the Tolvanic Army reports to Land Forces Command (LFC) headquartered at Fort Nix, near Brayton. LFC retains operational control over all deployable conventional Army units. LFC currently contains four corps level headquarters, twelve divisions (six armored, three motorised infantry, three airmobile), three armored cavalry regiments, three artillery brigades (two armored, one airmobile), three air defense brigades, three combat engineer brigades (all mechanized), four attack aviation brigades (in addition to those assigned to the divisions), three aviation lift brigades (in addition to those assigned to airmobile divisions), three military police brigades (all motorized though one is airborne capable), and three Theater Sustainment Groups (TSG).

Army total personnel strength: 485,276

Corps
The Tolvanic Army operates three corps level headquarters formations, these are:

I Corps (armored)
III Corps (airmobile)
V Corps (training and home defense)
VII Corps (armored)

While any corps HQ can control any type of division, the HQs are optimised for a particular type of unit. Corps HQs can control anywhere from two to four divisions, as well as additional engineer, artillery, air defense, and military police assets as required by mission considerations.

Current Corps HQ locations:
I Corps - Fort Jackson
III Corps - Fort Baines
V Corps - Fort Lynchman
VII Corps - Fort Morgan

Divisions
The division is primarily an organizational formation in peacetime and while deployed coordinates the operations of two-four brigade combat teams, as well as support and aviation assets as needed. Administrative functions are handled by the separate administrative support units and base adminstrative officers. The Tolvanic Army currently fields three types of division: armored, motorised, and airmobile.

Armored Division
The armored division is combined arms unit consisted primarily of tanks and mechanized infantry and with a significant degree of mechanization among its support units. Armored divisions are primarily offensive formations but operate in the defensive if necessary.

Armored divisions consist of:

3x armored brigade combat teams
1x attack aviation brigade
1x Civil Affairs company
1x Psychological Operations company
1x Mobile Field Hospital
1x Divisional HQ

Armored divisions have a personnel strength of 20,158.

The Tolvanic Army includes the following armored divisions:

1st Armored Division - Fort Jackson
2nd Armored Division - Fort Hewlett
3rd Armored Division - Fort Carter
4th Armored Division - Fort Hobey
5th Armored Division - Fort Sullivan
6th Armored Division - Fort Nix

Motorised Infantry Division
The motorised infantry division offers a "medium-weight" option to field commanders. The motorised infantry division utilizes the Tolvanic Light Armored Vehicle (TLAV) chasis for the basis of most of the divisions combat and combat support units. The motorised division combines the tactical mobility, survivability, and firepower of mechanized units with the strategic mobility, light logistical footprint, and greater infantry strength of a light force. As a result motorised infantry divisions are capable of both high intensity combat operations (though heavy forces are preferred) and conducting Operations Other Than War (OOTW).

Motorised Infantry Divisions consist of:

3x Motorised Infantry Brigade Combat Teams
1x attack aviation Brigade
1x Civil Affairs company
1x Psychological Operations company
1x Mobile Field Hospital
1x Divisional HQ

Current Units:

4th Motorised Infantry Division - Fort Crawford
5th Motorised Infantry Division - Fort Kentson
6th Motorised Infantry Division - Fort Linton

Total personnel strength: 15,095

Airmobile/Light Infantry Division
The airmobile division is a light infantry division trained and equipped to fight as either an airborne, air assault, or light infantry force. The force emphasizes strategic mobility at the expense of tactical mobility and firepower.

Airmobile divisions consist of:

3x infantry brigade combat teams
1x light attack aviation brigade
1x air assault aviation brigade
1x Civil Affairs company
1x Psychological Operations company
1x Mobile Field Hospital
1x Divisional HQ

The Tolvanic Army consists of the following airmobile divisions:

1st Airmobile Division - Fort Baines
2nd Airmobile Division - Fort Carver
3rd Airmobile Division - Fort Baines (one brigade at Fort Hobey)

Airmobile infantry divisions have a personnel strength of 15,204.

Brigade Combat Teams
The Brigade Combat Team (BCT) is the primary tactical unit of the Tolvanic Army. While division's retain operational and administrative control the Battle at Brigade Level and Below doctrine dictates use of largely independent BCTs to accomplish a series of objectives linked to an overall divisional concept of employment. As such BCTs are combined arms units containing all the necessary subunits for sustained combat, minus aviation assets.

As with divisions there are two types of BCT in the Tolvanic Army: armored and light/airmobile

Corps Level Brigades
While the primary tactical unit of Tolvanic Army is the Brigade Combat Team (BCT) and the primary administrative unit is the division, there are certain areas in which the BCTs organic capability is frequently found insufficent and thus require augmentation. As a result the Tolvanic Army fields several types of independent brigades, typically deployed at corps level to support divisional and brigade tactical operations.

Field Artillery Brigades
Field artillery brigades fill two purposes: 1) to provide corps commanders with massed artillery fire in excess of that organic to the BCT and 2) provide the corps commander with heavier weapons than those typically found organic to the BCT.

Reserve Forces Command

The bulk of the Tolvanic military's combat power lies in the active duty Regular Forces. However, there are substantial amounts of forces held in reserve throughout the country. Currently all able bodied males are required to serve two years in a Reserve Force unit upon reaching his 18th birthday, the only exceptions are those individuals who wish to join the all-volunteer Regular Force. Reserve Forces units can not be deployed outside of Tolvanic Territory without a formal order issued by the Prime Minister and approved by at least a 75% margin in the Parliament. In addition the Provincial Governer of the province in which the unit is based must also approve.

Reserve Forces Command consists of the following branches:

National Guard
Air Force Reserve
Air Defense Command
Coastal Defense Command
Individual Inactive Reserve

National Guard
The largest branch of Reserve Forces Command, making up nearly 70% of its manpower. Its primary mission is to serve as a defensive force should enemy forces stage a landing on Tolvanic soil, provide provincial governments with response forces for diasters or civil unrest, and rarely to augment Regular Forces with additional troops. The National Guard consists of 27 battlegroups spread throughout Tolvan. Each battlegroup is a battalion sized, combined-arms formation organized along geographic lines, with most of the individuals serving in the National Guard in that particular area reporting that unit. Each Province in Tolvan has at least one battlegroup, with the Doveridge Province having the most with four. Each battlegroup consists of three line companies, a cavalry troop, a combat engineer platoon, an air defense battery, an artillery battery, and a foward support company. National guard battlegroups are evenly split with nine light infantry formations, nine mechanized infantry formations, and nine armored formations. Each battlegroup reports to a brigade HQ in time of war. There are currently nine brigade HQs, each controlling two to four battlegroups.
In addition the National Guard also includes three combat engineer battalions, three military police battalions, three transport battalions, and two medium lift helicopter battalions.

Total personnel strength: 42,467

Air Force Reserve
The Air Force Reserve is the second largest branch of Reseve Forces Command. It's tasked with providing additional airpower assets to support Regular Forces operations and to provide additional security of Tolvanic airspace.
Air Force Reserve consists of the following units:

37th Fighter Wing - 72 F-15T
38th Fighter Wing - 72 F-16T
4th Bombardment Wing - 48 B-52T
27th Airlift Wing - 48 C-135
12th Utility Wing - 50 C-9

Total personnel strength: 7,325

Air Defense Command

Air Defense Command's (ADC) primary mission is to track all aircraft in or around Tolvanic airspace and react to threats as required. In times of full mobilization, ADC mans Tolvan's Intergrated Air Defense System (IADS). The IADS consists of dozens of independent tracking and control centers and 217 air defense sites through the country. These sites employ both SAMs and AAA systems to engage aerial threats.

Total personnel strength: 8,371

Coastal Defense Command
Coastal Defense Command (CDC) tracks vessels in and around Tolvanic national waters. During times of full mobilization CDC operates 36 coastal defense sites throughout Tolvan. These sites consits of both coastal artilelry and anti-ship missile batteries and are positioned to guard key coastal cities and ports, as well as likely landing areas for amphibous forces.

Total personnel strength: 8,109

Inactive Individual Reserve
The Inactive Individual Reserve (IIR) consists of all able-bodied Regular Force and Reserve Forces veterans discharged from servie inthe last five years. The program is designed to allow the rapid call back of personnel to fill lossses if needed. Personnel in the IIR are not required to report for training and do not recieve a salary unless activated.
