Aziuz

Prince Henry Marsin of the Marsin family looked out the window of the Royal Palace Foreign Affairs office and looked out onto the streets of Marsindale, the capital of a small constitutional monarchy run nation of five million people and he looked back down at the declaration that he was preparing to present to the world. The nation of Aziuz had been run by several larger nations in the region it had been located in, however, it always maintained the Marsin family as the legal 'heads' of Aziuz, even though their defence, foreign affairs and their internal resource management was always dealt with by one or more much larger nations in their region. Recently though, the Aziuz people had begun to tire of having their lives run by foreign influence and because the nation itself had grown to a substantial sze of five million people it was agreed by foreign powers in the region and with the Marsin family that the nation of Aziuz would be solely run by the Marsin family and not by outside influence. Thus, Henry was in charge of foreign relations thusly, and therefore this is why he was troubling over the draft statement that the Queen of Aziuz, Marie Ansalesa Marsin will present to the world community and to her people later on this afternoon. He had to have the speech written properly to ensure that the Queen, his niece, would not be made a laughing stock on the world stage and as well having his niece loose face with the people of Aziuz.
Outside several streetcars went by with passengers filled in them as they headed off to their jobs or back home to families that would be waiting expectantly for the speech from the Queen of Aziuz. The sun was shining brightly on the streets of Marsindale with several white fluffy clouds floating highly in the blue sky why Prince Henry Marsin finished the final draft of his Queen's speech and rushed to her stately room to give her a copy. Several minutes later he knocked on her door and she told Henry to come in and when he opened the door he looked at the beautiful young woman, nearly 25 years old with pale white skin, freckles and flowing red hair and lovely green eyes look at him and smile warmly. Having become Queen several days before with the death of her father, King Marcus III who ruled the nation for thirty years, it all felt extremely new to the new head of Aziuz. Presenting her with the document, Henry looked at the ground as Marie smiled and read the document word for word. She then extended her hand and touched her uncle's hand lighly which resulted in him looking her in the eyes and she spoke;
"Thank you Uncle Henry for this wonderful document. I believe this clearly presents the ideas of yourself, the Marsin family and the nation of Aziuz."
Several hours later, Aziuz television sets were glued to the Aziuz Royal Palace where on the front veranda Queen Marie Marsin stood in a lovely white dress and a beautiful golden crown and spoke for the cameras the document her Foreign Affairs minister had presented;
Aziuz has always had the Marsin family to look up to in times of trouble and in good times. The Marsin family and the nation of Aziuz have a strong link together forged under 200 years of having the Marsin family rule, or be the lead house in Aziuz affairs with regards to are internal matters and with dealing with foreign influences. Aziuz has in the technical terms only become independent with regards to international ideology when my father, King Marcus III hammered out an agreement with our neighbors to ensure that the Aziuz nation will maintain all of its affairs under one house and not be protected or controlled on the international scene by foreign nations, no matter how friendly or hostile they may be, and that we will chart our own course in history, maintaining strong connections to foreign friends that have defended us in times of trouble but also making newer friends that will assist us in building our nation into a global competitor and make our nation, though small, one of the powerful in the world. I as your Queen, Marie Marsin pledge that the Marsin family wil bring the nation of Aziuz into the international community, by maintaining Aziuz culture, independence and national progression for all of its citizens. Thank you!
