The country of Haribet is looking for soilders to protect it the east side has gone into complete rage and is trying to take over the un! The East side is lead by Johmattan Alitisa III and the West is lead by Julti Maliri (The President of Haribet) Please join and help before this could break out into a world war

OOC: Do you have a map?

Not to be rude but I would kindly suggest that if you are truly worried about your conflict becoming a world war – and not simply prevailing over your ideological nemesis – then you would not be calling for foreign intervention. After all if no one comes to either side then you will have a civil war which, though unfortunate, is contained to your small country. The likelihood of this war spilling over into other nations increases exponentially as the economic, political, and military interests of foreign entities become entangled within the conflict. As such Otares will be politely declining and remain noncommittal to this conflict.

i do have a map..i need to upoad it onto the computor though..and we need forighn help because we are such a small country without them and they held most of our supplies we are pretty much defenseless...please help!!!

OOC: I would send troops to one of the sides if there was a side red enough for my nation. However, no one seems to be even socialist and my troops are for the liberation of the proletariat, not for serving a side or another (even if it´s economically convenient). So, I would intervene but helping an eventual communist party (specially if it is maoist) which posture was simply against the war, as it would be a conflict between capitalist interests and not for the proletariat. Also, money would be send to create a democratic system based on soviets in the areas under the control of that eventual party (if Haribet agrees, of course) and weapons but only to defend the locations which refuse to take part in such a war and not to force locations to be under communist command or torture. In that case, all support would be ended. That is my proposal.

OOC: Actually if Haribet were interested in pursuing this story line I would like to get involved as well. Otares is by no stretch of the imagination communist but as a bit of an imperial dabbler setting up a communist state like the one you are proposing is in our interest. Having a formerly unstable country both stabilized and pacified would be nice. We of course wouldn’t be in it for the same ideological reasons but our goal could be similar. A self sufficient, representative, socially just state, who conveniently has less money to spend on arms. And the only caveat would be one export processing zone that includes at least one city.

OCC: I'd be interested in this also.

OOC: So what do you think Haribet? I think the lot of us would need a brief write up of either faction and the state of social parties, communes, labour unions, et cetera in your nation but it sounds like some of us might be willing to RP this out.

That said the only reason I am bringing this up oocly and not in an in character fashion – yet – is because I realize that you are indeed new and this RP could go a very different way than what you are planning and I would like to see how amiable you as a player are to being run rough shod over. (I say this because both Montegrande and Otares are a fair size larger than your nation. I myself am paying upkeep on an infantry force that is approximately one third the size of your total population.)

OOC: Clones troopers are rather FT and maybe PMT. This MT. So people will most likely ignore this.

Is this going to happen then?

OOC: It doesn’t look like it unfortunately. One of the reasons people are kind of reluctant to play with people who are so new is because there is always the risk that they might not continue to play. I will be surprised if this goes anywhere at all because the new guy has yet to post again.
