Currently the Italian Conservative party holds the majority and the seat of our Prime Minister, Briano Sicilo, won two years ago. In 5 weeks, the National Democratic Liberal Party- and possibly the Red Worker's party- may gain an upper leg in the Senate. Current seats read:

As far as interests go, in brief, the Conservatives support State-Choice for Civil Unions and illegal abortion. They support higher defence budgeting and the privatization of welfare. They support the GASN. The Democrats support total nation legalization of Civil Unions, Abortions, and Marijuana on private property. They support many welfare programs and less defence spending. They are soley for for the GUSN. The Red Worker's party adhere's to Marxist Communism, and are totally against any private economic activity. The National Socialist Party (Who are NOT Nazis) support Spanish-Style Socialism.
