Cautetan

Today, Cautetan at last ended the oppressive monarchy that had been clinging to power for the last few decades.
Rebels staged a successful coup in which loyalist forces were forced to surrender to a rebel onslaught, swiftly taking control of the capital. With a large portion of the military and general populace behind them, the Cautetan Socialist Militia managed to topple the oppressive royalty's regime, setting up a provisional government and immediately declaring martial law until the remaining loyalist forces are removed.
The United Socialist States of Cautetan, however, must now appeal to the international community for aid. Although we have succeeded in our effort to secure our nation for the people, we still face many problems- our infrastructure is weak, and the strain put upon it by this civil war is damaging transport of food into our few major cities. Our roads and railways are congested with refugees fleeing regions still held by loyalist troops, and our airports grounded by frequent power failures. If we do not act soon to rectify this, there may be widespread hunger in cities, and loyalist forces may regroup and pose a genuine threat to the new government.
The fact of the matter is that the provisional government has, between its members, very little experience. The previous ministers, corrupt as they were, at least knew how to keep the nation just barely running. Currently we are torn with indecision on key issues.
As well as this, our military has very few competent strategists within it. Most experienced generals took their few remaining men when the Royalty fell, fleeing south to secure old military bases. Our forces hold very few high ranking officers- those we do have, although competent, are unused to running an entire army rather than just personal regiments.
Simply put, we need advice more than anything now. We are appealing to the international left-wing community for aid in establishing a secure government, ensuring the security of our people, and most important, advising our military to a swift victory against loyalist forces before they are able to regroup and attempt a counter-revolution.
We are not asking for monetary or material aid, we merely need a socialist or communist nation to lend us some of their hard-earned experience, and be the champion Cautetan needs to secure its future. In return, you will be guaranteed extensive influence in Cautetan for decades to come.
(OOC: First post, hope this is right.)
