OCC: Looking to get into Future Tech

I was looking to get into Future Tech and was wondering if anybody would like to encounter my civilization. Eventually I was planning to go into a war, just to see how FT works in that respect. I have a good idea of how large my fleet is and what they are capable of, so I won't be a newbie RP player. Anyone interested?

What sort of contact? Random probe finds me or visa versa, or we bump into eachother, or we have knowledge of eachother but no method of contact, or what?
