We would like to ask exactly what the point of this conference is?

Animarnia already enjoys a liberal and free sexual society; Safe Sex is promoted over abstinence; many places are clothing optional, Sex education is compulsory in all state funded schools and most private schools baring a few of the religious schools for those so inclined. Animarnian's are already quite open about sex; we even have state funded condom dispensers giving our free condoms nation wide. We have an excellent healthcare system and STD's are almost non existent because of increased awareness in the average citizen plus our sex crime is almost nil.

Our policies on sexual health and education focus on ensuring people understand and know the risks involved and know that they have certain rights, which can never be legally challenged by any religious group, as the only current existing groups have come to accept the cultural norms of the nation.

The great couuntry of Nevillonia applauds Kryozerkia for their open rights!!! We are currently struggling with the issue of polygamy as well. We are not sure, where freedom ends and forced marriage begins with polygamy. It will be a long battle. Skgorria, this forum shouldn't really involve you; Nevillonia does not recognize a country with such antiquated ideals.

Our nation also has quite liberal sexual policies, believing as we do in the revolutionary tradition of free love. Civil marriages may be granted to any couple by a local court; although the State does not demand the same of religious marriages, provided the partners are not excommunicated by their congregations as punishment for a civil marriage, in return for the clergy's submission to taxation.
The only sex crimes as such are the obvious examples of rape, incest (specifically parent/child or sibling/sibling varieties), assault (including pedophilia) and harrassment. Prostitution is legal, and supported insofar as the industry is granted full access to the healthcare and welfare systems like any other. However, the State does not run a stake in the business, and so all brothels must pay full corporate taxes; unlike a government business, which would be able to qualify for the usual tax benefits of 5-20% depending on annual profit.
There are of course disputes regarding these rights, as in any even remotely democratic society. Many conservative elements want sexual relations between at least first-cousins criminalized under incest as well, and protests against the prostitution and adult entertainment industries are a daily occurrence; and legal, so long as no violence or sedition occurs.
The more controversial forms of sexuality (bestiality, BDSM, &c.) are generally left alone by mutual consensus among our politicians; as was there were fistfights in the National People's Congress the last time those issues were addressed some years back, without a decision since the Red Guard Police had to be called in to forcibly prevent some enraged Congressmen from possibly killing each other. Gay Marriage is legal. A justice of the peace can wed any same-sex couples. Same Sex couples can also adopt children with no more fuss than a hetero couple. (lamen's terms: they are the same)
