Basically this revolves around a game of cat and mouse between two intelligence agencies as they try to outwit one another in an attempt to gain the upperhand in an international incident. I need someone to be the host nation for a Kulikovian embassy in the nation which mine is having the international disagreements with. Alexsandr Krueger is a young aide to the Kulikovian ambassador, he's a hard worker and has a promising career. He is approached by the MFS to assist them in procurring certain documents from the host nation, which will possibly give them an edge. There's also going to be a bit of a love story involved where he and a woman from the host consulate fall in love. Unknown to Krueger is that she is also a member of a rival intelligence agency. This is all in the planning and I want to work out a storyline for it.

Basically, I need someone to be the host nation and we can work out an incident. This is complicated but should be fun with all sorts of plot twists, betrayal, a love affair, as well as some good old fashion assasination. All other players can be part of our two nations groups or outside parties. I want to work out the kinks in this one. Thoughts? Ideas? Comments? Any feedback would be appreciated. Perhaps the difference could be an economic one, political, or military.

Backround stuff

The Ministry of Foreign Security is Kulikovia's primary intelligence agency, similar to the CIA. They will be the chief agency working inside the embassy and getting my character to ''cooperate'' in their mission to collect information.

Kulikovia is chiefly a Socialist nation but the new Chancellor is more capitalistic minded.

History: Krueger was born in the port city of New Archangel to a middle class family. As a young boy the world always fascinated him and dreamed of seeing as much of it as he could. In school he recieved top marks and was on the rugby team. He joined the Naval Forces after high school and went in as an intelligence analysist. He traveled acoss the world. After a few years he left the navy after recieving a degree. He decided to join the Ministry of Foreign Affairs abd worked hard to become an inturpereter. After being in the MFA for only a year he was sent out to be an interpruter for a prominent Kulikovian ambassador. He is intelligent and a hard worker who is dedicated and loyal to his country.

I would be interested. Krendakov would have interests in keeping your nation socialists. I’m sure some interesting activities would be engaged by the Krendian KGB. It would also give me the opportunity to introduce a character I want to eventually be in charge of my nation. So yeah, I’m thinking reconnaissance planes get shot down by you and this leads to your nation’s government wanting to know why Krendakov was doing recon on your country… but if you don’t like the idea or you don’t want to role-play with someone as inexperienced as myself, fair enough.

Not at all, that sounds like a descent idea. Perhaps a person from your nation was caught trying to break into a government building in my nation or something along those lines. Your idea sounds pretty nice.

I think your idea is the best, we'll run with that. Just make a character and we'll see where it goes from there.

All right. So, the Krendian government decides it needs information on the deployment of Kulikovian forces so sends a reconnaissance plane over Kulikova – piloted by one Ilya Grigoriev. The Kulikovian forces notice it and shoot it down. The pilot gets captured by Kulikovian forces. Krendakov needs to know if any information has been gained by Kulikovia so send an agent in to find out from the employees of the Kulikovian embassy to discover if they know anything – enter Karina Maksimova. The story unfolds from there.

I also have some idea of Karina escaping and defecting… If you don’t want your character to defect to another character, he doesn’t need to be involved.

History: Dropped out of high school at the age of fifteen – earliest age possible. He was drafted into the military for five years due to his age. The air-force seemed to be the best bet, so he chose to be a pilot. Being a natural at this, he was quickly asked to sign up for a military career. He accepted and was promoted to the elite pilot squad. Due to his exceptional ability and endurance, he is often selected for reconnaissance and spy missions.

Age: 24
Height: 1.55 m
Weight: 44 kg
Hair: Long, Light Brown
Eyes: Brown
History: Comes from a well-off family where her father worked as a nuclear technician and her mother was a university lecturer. She completed a university course in Mathematics, and was unsure of where to work after that. She was offered a job by the KGB and has been there since. She has not been involved in any major missions as of yet and is still untested.

I think he wants to send in special forces to investigate our activities... which would be really useful. Then we shoot his forces. Not exactly sure how this works with the thread ideas you initially stated. From this we can conclude that he almost read all of this thread, but not quite all of it. We can also conclude from his gratuitous use of smilies that he has no read the stickies. At this point I shall direct our young friend to read the stickies!

I was thinking we could start out with your pilot flying over Kulikovia, then my jets either shoot him down or force him to land. Some news stories, blah blah blah. The, the Kulikovian delegation is in your capital city who's name I don't know. There could be a reception party for the new ambassador and that's where our two characters could meet.

Main thread up. It's not so good, I'm tired and will be very busy tomorrow, our base is running drills and being part of security, we play a big role.

Why do posts always look shorter on the forums than in word? Oh well, there it is – it took far too long and I’ll look at it tomorrow and think it’s terrible, but what are you going to do? So anyway, your turn next, unless you want me to get further over land first, then I can write some more stuff.

Sorry about the delay and badness of the post, I was suffering a bit of writers block and a bad case of warrock. The two combined resulted in no post since I was just sitting there looking at a few lines of random text on word.
