General
The Imperial Democracy (Also Known as holy Empire, Empire, or Imperial Republic) of Nuevo Italia (Known also as Italia, Italy) consists of the colorful Italian people and is home to remnants of the world’s most Influentual Empire, Rome, some truly beautiful landscapes, a nation of freedom and Imperialism, a very highly developed economy, thousands of years of history, and a great diversity.
Nuevo Italia is an Italian commonwealth. After Italy's unification in 1161, colonizers arrived at Nuevo Italia in the 1500's. After independence was gained, A new ruler, an Imperatore (no longer "King") took control. He was the former governor of Roma.

*During the early Empire, muslims were mistreated and persecuted, keeping this number is low today.

Imperial Democracy
A democracy modeled after the US, but no electoral court, with the Imperatore (Emperor) as a figurehead who is a civillian idol and announces major descisions. Colonial Citizens have the same rights. Almost every freedom imaginable (except harmful drug usage) is available in the Italian Empire. Suffrage is universally 18 (Driving is 16). Italia is not a unitary state, but a federal republic. The Imperatore can halt any law being passed, but has not done so, and he controls 5% of the vote in the Imperiale Senato (Imperial Senate).
