I'd like to see if anyone would be interested in hosting a visit from my Head of State, President Elizabeth Rowlands, as part of a diplomatic tour I'd like to send her off on, in the shiny new presidential plane. Visits to Aunesia instead, would also be great.

I was thinking along the lines of:


State banquets hosted by each head of state, with the other head of state being the guest of honor;
A visit to the legislature, often with a formal address being delivered to parliament;
High profile visits to famous national landmarks;
Formal cultural events celebrating both countries, which are held in conjunction with the state visit.
Talks between Heads of State and/or foreign ministers eg. (increasing trade, military co-operation etc.)

Anybody interested? If you have any ideas what our leaders could discuss, that'd be great. Any priorities we may have be able to work together on, etc.

That'd be interesting. Given the differences in systems (from what I'm assuming from your nation's page, at least. I don't know how you RP it). Who'd I be able to go meet? What possible topics could we discuss?

My nation page doesn't really reflect my nation(as I've mostly given up on answering issues).

Members of the Royal Family, Prime Minister, various other ministers/generals/VIPs, Great Uncle Raphael, all depends how it goes. Depends what topics/issues are raised. Trade, or at least information on appropriate companies/resources, is always viable, as is politics.

Sounds good. I'll brainstorm some ideas, sleep on it, and get back to you tomorrow evening. Right now I'd better get some sleep. If anyone else's interested, the more the merrier!

You've though that out quite nicely. I'm interested. Generally my nation is very isolationistic but it has a vast empire composed of about a half dozen other nations and so will make contact with such countries it thinks would make a good addition to the empire. That would give us at least one topic to be discussed on the diplomatic visit.

That may cause your government concerns at face value, given their strategic goals of preventing the spread of imperialism, but its not really imperialism at all (as all those nations are members not conquored or the like).

OOC: Im very interested in hosting you. You can come and see for yourself the wonders of Vetaka. Perhaps visit the native Vetakan Tribesman of the White-Phoenix Tribe whom live in the Vetakan Rogers Mountain Range. Perhaps try a Vetakan Oatcake. Our nations share alot in common and I am sure their is alot we can do together

If it's a big summit, I'm out. I have enough of those on my plate as it is. I'm here for a diplo tour, nothing more.

I'd rather stick to a diplomatic tour, if it's all the same. It allows for more one-on-one conversation between leaders, and is less of an organisational nightmare.
