Alright, I have decided that I don't like being alone and that I want real damn neighbors, so I have created a continent of seven large land areas (the entire continent is enormous - 56,970,508 square miles), six of which are open (because one of them is of course my nation.)

The continent will be named later. I just want some nations to claim the land first. Requirements:

500 million+ population
Must be active

Rules:
No colonies, territories, etc. This will be your actual country.

THIS IS NOW CLOSED FROM ANYMORE CLAIMS. I'M SERIOUS THIS TIME, PEOPLE. DO NOT POST UNLESS YOU ARE A NATION ON THIS CONTINENT.

I would like to beleive that my northern area is Temperate and the farther south you go along it the weather would get more and more Tropical, ending is in an almost fully tropical area in the south.

The Hunters would have bases all over the continent, but the initial strike can take place in No Taxes. The war's going to be limited to the continent, right? Maybe the Hunters could take over most of Vantaxia, and hold everyone off at a stalemate for a while until I get an invasion force from the rest of my Democratic Empire. Then the Hunters slowly start to lose control?

Off your coast is fine. Just wondering, how does you government work? Mine's a constitutional monarchy, but the Emperor has a whole lot of power still.

In summary:

The Lord Governor is the head of government and head of state. His powers are constitutionally restricted, and he is democratically elected into power by popular vote. His term lasts forever until he dies or resigns.

Only the children of the previous Lord Governor are eligible to run for office after the last dies or resigns, and they must be of Royal blood.

There is also a tricameral Congress. It has three houses, the House of Representatives, the House of Senators, and the House of Imperialists (Nobility). The first two houses are democratically elected officials by popular vote, but the House of Imperialists is a panel that acts as the Supreme Court and each member is chosen by the Royal Family, pending the lower houses' approval.

There are no local or provincial governments. The laws that are made are the same everywhere, and the Imperial government handles everything from education, defense, law & order, etc, through income and property taxes.
