APG Pistol

Calibre: 9x19mm PL
Weight Loaded: 795g
Overall Length: 198mm
Action: Double Action
Magazine Options: 15 round see-through magazine only

The APG was the standard sidearm of the Antigran armed forces until recently, and is, and will continue to serve in great numbers for decades to come.
It is a good weapon, noted for it's rugged reliability.
The first APGs were built in 1989.
Several parts of the weapon bear a striking resemblance to the Beretta 92FS, from which it is partly based on, such as the slide (which is identical, only shorter than a 92FS's), trigger guard, and grip.
There is a 'tactical' version with a thread on the front of the barrel to attach a silencer, and several accesories may be clipped onto the gun.

SABRE ASSAULT RIFLE AND VARIANTS

Calibre: 5.56x44mm Auto Rifle
Weight Loaded: 4.43kg
Overall Length: 100.2cm
Rate of Fire: 750rpm (Toned down from 950)
Action: Semi Auto / 3 Round Burst / Full Auto
Magazine Options: 10, 20, or 28 rounds box mag or 80 round beta C-Mag

The Sabre began it's life in 1979 at the AUD factory in western Antigr, due to an army need to replace the old BAR-style rifles that they had.
It's barrel resembles the G36's, as does the receiver and trigger, and it has a detachable carrying handle-cum-sight like on the M16, the only difference being that it is shaped slightly differently.
The main part of the handle is non-detachable, but the sight mounted on it can be removed and replacced with various scopes, etc.
The rifle has a folding butt with a built-in cheek rest, and the rifle is all black except for the mag which is a light grey.
The Sabre has two cousins, a sniper rifle and a carbine.

The carbine is basically the standard rifle, but with a barrel of reduced length.
The sniper has a longer and thicker barrel, and with a 10x scope mounted in place of the usual carrying handle-cum-sight. The scope is mounted in a similar structure that doubles as a carrying handle.
The carbine is known as the Sabre SL and the sniper known as the Sabre SSG.

UDI MX66 General-Purpose Machine Gun

Calibre: 7.62x61mm TRG
Weight Loaded: 10.3kg
Overall Length: 116cm
Rate of Fire: 920rpm
Action: Semi Auto / 3 Round Burst / Full Auto
Magazine Options: 28 Round Side-Mounted Magazine / 80, 200, or 500 round Belt or Box

The M66 General-Purpose Machine Gun was developed in 1984 by the Antigran Company UDI (United Defence Industries).
The weapon is very mechanically reliable, and has a wide range of magazine options.
It had a wooden stock, but this was replaced soon after by a skeleton stock which can fold alongside the gun, making the M66 easier to store.
The ammunition port in which the belt or drum is inserted comes almost immediately after the trigger housing, and forward of this there is a grip.
Forward of this, it is very similar to the FN MAG 58 GPMG.
The small tubular extension below the barrel can be fitted with a bipod, and the gun, of course, can be fitted with a tripod too.
The top of the gun can be fitted with the standard Antigran military sight, or the more common ladder sight, which can fold away.
The M66's barrel, like on the FN MAG, has a carrying handle attached and changing of barrels can be done in seconds.

This rifle is a development of the Sabre series, based on the US XM8.
It was first developed in 2003, following increasingly urgent requests to replace the army's well-loved but aging Sabre I Assault Rifles.
They used a .243 round, a progression of the cartridge first used in 1901,
The Sabre II uses the same bullet, as this will not need to be urgently replaced until around 2050.
The .243 Auto Rifle, in all it's glory, has a length between that of the 5.56mm NATO round, and that of the US .243 Winchester.

RANGER TACTICA III M4 SHOTGUN

Sketch (M4A2) (http://i151.photobucket.com/s129/albums/antigr/RangerTacticaIIIM4A2.jpg)

Calibre: 13-Gauge HEASHI (Contraction of HEAvy SHotgun, Improved-durability)
Weight Loaded: 8kg (M4A1: 7.3kg, M4A2: 5kg)
Overall Length: 121cm (M4A2: 94cm)
Rate of Fire: (Current Production M4A2s) 235rpm, (M4 and M4A1) 185rpm
Action: Gas-Operation, Full Auto
Magazine Options: 21-Round Drum (M4A1: 5-Round Box Mag, M4A2: 54-Round Beta C-Mag)

The Tactica III Shotgun Series was developed by Ranger, who first made the original pump-action shotgun, the M1, shortly after new year 1954, the weapon soldiering on until 1968 before being replaced by the M2, essentially the same but for a few add-ons.
The M2A1, A2, and A3 had an increased capacity.
Then in 1979 came the M3, again pump-action, with a much-changed exterior but still the same excellent interior mechanisms.
Eventually came the M4, a decade later, which used lots of internal parts dating from the M1 but had an all-new feature: fully-automatic firing.

The orginal M4s weighed 6.6 kilograms and were often used with a bipod or rested on some kind of platform to fire accurately, as the average soldier found it hard to lift the M4 so they could look down the sights and keep it still.

In an attempt to rectify this, the M4A1 was developed, featuring several unneeded things (such as the chin rest, forward handle, and specialised optical sight) dropped, and a 5-round Box Magazine, which proved enourmously unpopular, due to the fact that your five rounds were used up in under two seconds and that 41 soldiers died in room-clearings because the idea of the full auto shotgun was to kick down the door of a room and keep on shooting 'til everyone was dead, rather than shoot two enemies and get shot while reloading.

And thus came the M4A2, featuring lighter materials, chopping 27 cm off the barrel (Producing better close-range effects), and the major redesign of a number of new parts, 40% being eliminated and found to be easily and reliably bypassable. The result, a 4.2kg Fully-Automatic Shotgun. Stunning results.
To take advantage of this, the Ranger design team added a 54-round Beta-C dual-drum magazine and a 5 times more reliable loading system, bringing the weight up to a reasonable 5kg.
A project is underway to reduce the weapon's weight to 3.5kg, but this downgrades reliability and the troops are already quite happy with the Tactica III M4A2, which, when worn with the gun strap worn over one shoulder to take the weight, produces deadly and accurate short-range effects.

A new improved Batch 4 of the M4A2 is out, picture here (http://i151.photobucket.com/s129/albums/antigr/RangerTacticaIIIM4A2Batch4.jpg)
