After concerns brought up by the Democratic Empire's Dominions and Colonies, Parliament has declared that it is reexamining what languages will be official languages of the Democratic Empire. They have placed a limit of three official languages, meaning atleast two of the languages now must go. The current official languages are:
Novah
Latin
Azoan
Imperial
English
Foreign representatives are welcome to come to present their language(s) of choice and argue why it/they should an official language(s), however only Parliament can vote.

Official Statement from the Imperial Nicksyllvanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs
We strongly reccomend that English remains an official language, as it is the most widely used International language and the language of business. As well as being one of the more poetic and sincere language whilst being practical for any application.

To Nicksyllvania: Your concerns have been noted. Are there anyother languages you would like to recommend? Many people think that English should remain, that Spanish should be added, and that either French or German should be added.
The Principality of Kurona
Kuroan understands you concernes. We would like to make a vouch, keep English as it truly is one of the universal world languages, along with French. We suggest drop Latin as it has no languistic values other than roots in history, but it seems pointless to have a dead language as an offical language. We don't have any knowledge of the language Imperial but it sounds like it could go, maybe.

We request that Valgardian be made an offical language of your Empire as it is a language spoken by the educated and elites of Scandinvan and we wish to spread its use to your nation's field of university and cutlural parts.

After ferocious debating, Parliament has announced that all languages but English have been dropped from the originals. Spanish has also been added, and now it's a debate at what other universal language should be adopted.
To The Scandinvans: We would like to know if Valgardian is a relativly universal language, or if it is just used in The Scandinvans. If it isn't widely used it is likely to be rejected by Parliament.

To The Scandinvans: We would like to know if Valgardian is a relativly universal language, or if it is just used in The Scandinvans. If it isn't widely used it is likely to be rejected by Parliament. It is a widely used language amongst the colonies, in countries where the Scandinvans have had an intellectual and/or cutlural affect, and it is also a language related to Old Norse, but is a much more complex and detailed language. So in total there are about 80 common speakers in total, but with billions of people capable of understanding it and of reading and writing it.

Unfortunately Valgardian has been dismissed. Not unfortunately, the languages of Novah, Azoim, and Imperial Standard are now being debated. Azoim has the least amount of support, followed by Imperial Standard closely behind Novah. Azoim is the oldest of the languages, Imperial Standard is the language of the empire that ruled Vantanas, and Novah is the langauge of the Native Vantanians.
I would personally vote for english, imperial and krisktaye.
English: already very established in most countries
Imperial: also very established
Krisktaye: a very simple language that can be spoken and learned very easily

The Dominion of Sendersdale
Our advisors would suggest English as well as French. Both of these are well established international languages used in politics and business. Latin is also a good choice as it is a base of many other languages.
We would also suggest a local language of you're country.
Whatever language you choose, our government wishes your country the best of luck.

After even more fierce debating, Parliament has announced the official languages of Vantanas:
English
Spanish
Novah
Why not Farsi? It's a very nice language whose alphabet is quite conductive to calligraphy...

Unfortunately, the official language debates are over. However, the debate for an official sign language rages on...
