Two jet bombers flew overhead. Each carried a bomb, one atomic and the other hydrogen. They were literally on the fringes of the Democratic Empire. They were running the most important test in all of Vantanian history. They approached the two small uninhabited islands, splitting off to bomb their selected island. As they dropped the bombs, they turned around fleeing as fast as they could. Two mushroom clouds exploded up into the air behind them, but the jets had gotten out of danger. Vantanas had gone nuclear.

Official Announcment

Today at 0400 two nuclear bombs, one atomic and the other hydrogen, were dropped on the small uninhabited islands of Skogrria and Otapiana. The test was sucessful and now Vantanas is officially part of the nuclear club.

Biological and chemical weaponry has already been developed, as well as the Deathbringer ICBM, Spartan III ICBM, and Poseidon (sp?) II SLBM. These designs are extremly similar to the Peacekeeper, Minuteman III, and Trident II, but different enough to not be stealing. The designs for these weapons have been taken from an artifact from Nova Brittanica, a military CD.

OOC: This thread isn't just for announcing I have nukes, but for further military research and achievments too. Like SkyNet and a Super Soldier Program.

Your nation's development of nuclear weapons is disturbing at best, with your nation being small and instable. I command that you cease further development of nuclear weapons, and no longer test any type of nuclear device, as radiation caused by your bombs is currently heading towards the eastern seaboard of Eurasia. To Gataway: We thank you for your congratulation. However, we will not be purchasing uranium from you at this time. We are already on the way to having sucessful nuclear reactors in isolated places around the Democratic Empire.
