OOC: My first attempt at a RP... This was to be just a NSWiki article, but I decided to make it a thread just to see what parts other nations would play.

Civil War in Dark Eran.
There was panic in the city. The building was on fire, fights were erupting. Many did not know what had started this, most did. Nobody knew why the President was inside the building, but the building was on fire. The President was already dead.
It was the first day of the Civil War. The war was slow to begin, but many people are blaming it on the nation's anti-capitalistic nature. Income tax was it its highest, and crime was at its worst. The civil war was to change everything, and build up a new nation where the freedom of the people was respected.
The President, Emmanuel Goldstein, was dead. The nation was at war with itself. Nobody knew for sure who started the fire, who is the leader of the revolutionary forces. All they knew was that the state was at war... And that whoever you sided with, you could be a target.
OOC: Notice anything about the name of the President? That might be a reference to the post civil war state of Dark Eran.
