Official Statement from the Socialist Sultanate Duchydom of Franberry on behalf of the Alliance for the Presevation Of Civillization

Franberry and APOC will not tolerate slavery. We demand the shutdown of this buissness by Strator within 24 hours. If these terms are not obeyed, Strator should assume it is at a state of war with APOC and be prepared for Strator to cease to exsist.

Space Union supports our ally Franberry in its opposition to the nation of Strator. It is a gross misconduct to sell people into a forced labor against their own will. Any nation that respects human rights even at the bare minimum should oppose this nation and its inhuman treatment of our fellow humans. Therefore, on behalf of Space Union and together with APOC and Franberry, we give you an ultimatium. Close down your slave trade in 24 hours or assume a state of war with the Alliance for Preserving Civilization.

We sincerely hope that we do not need to shed any blood and we hope that you agree with us on this. In the interest of everyone, we hope you meet our terms.

The president coughed a troubled look on his face. "It's come to this eh?" He held a piece of paper in his hand nervously eying the gin tonic set on his desk. He took a sip and stood up preparing to offer one of the hardest speeches of his life.

He stepped out onto the balcony of the presidential palace cameras flashing before him. He gently eyed the podium and set his hand on his forehead in a nervous gesture before speaking.

"People of Southern Colombia, you have spoken. In a historic act you have voted to overturn our non-agrresion policies and join in war on the nation of Strator. 8 million of you voted and of those 8 million 7 supported the effort to stop Strator's slave trade at all cost. It is with a heavy heart I adress this country for I desire nothing but peace. But being as the people have spoken it is my duty as a representative of the people to follow their commands."

He sighted gently.

"Strator I join many other countries in this. You have 24 hours to cease all slave trade or with God as my witness you will be blown to smithereens. Your country shall be wiped of the face of the planet and your people will be freed and allowed to live life with all the comforts of freedom you did not grant them. This is your last chance to avoid concentration. If you do not it is off my hands it is the choice of the people of this country."

"We fully expect to support any allies who want to attack strator because of this situation as well. We pledge full support to any war effort that may arise."


He sighed again and walked back off the platform.

Aust had no wish for a large scale war, instead it's objectives where basic, free the slaves, capture certain stratigic ports and destory the enermy air force. Thus only a small fleet conisting of 3 aircraft carriers and 20 support ships set out from Bambinio towards Strator, though more would follow later when the Legions had been mobalised and the Austian Special Services had been put on full alert.

However, even as this rapid reaction force set out 6 wings of i'Tuni fighters and 4 of k'Brosh bombers where setting out from the airbase at Nuevo Owloon with the intention of attacking Strators cheif port and airbases. Other fighters where being transfered to Kowloon, which would act as Austs forward base during this assult, and they would strike later.

Another wing was setting out, this one of transport planes escoted by 2 units of fighters, the 12 transports would disengorge there cargo of ASS troops near the largest slave comound in an effort to take it voer and free the slaves, who would then be armed and encourage d to form a rebellion, supported by the ASS of course.

OOC; I realise that, meh, I was 12 when i thought them up, it was funny at the time.

ooc: Per the other thread, I have a small fleet of seven ships: two destroyers, four LPDs and One Aircraft carrier. Rosdivan has much more ships than that present. Also, two subs will be there in a (NS) day.

Our humanitarian efforts in slave trading are well known throughout the world. We are currently making a large purchase of drug criminals from Shazbotdom in order to give them a second chance.

We are also known for our massive evacuations of populations under attack.

Modern warfare and Postmodern warfare must extinguish the entire population of the country to prevent cottage industry. However, the military nor the populace starts wars, the politicians and the media starts wars. Those should be those held responsible. We are therefore ordaining that those wishing a war spare the civilians and let us evacuate them to refugee camps in The Berberay Coast.

We have charted Purity Cruise Lines to evacuate up to 20,000 people at first and have contracted Oceanic Airlines and donated aircraft to evacuate 50,000 more people.

We too are trying to extradite the refugges and willa ttempt to destory the leadership of this nation with as little colatteral damage as possbale. Our play is to stike quickly, detsorying key goverment buildings and millitary targets, capture a port and tkae the slave holding areas. We will then transfer the slaves to ships or out own aircraft and and leave. We will do as little civillian damage as possable.

He remembered standing at Port de Richesse, the Port of Riches, his team assembled behind him, the hardened 120th Light Division in uniform rows drilling holes in him with their eyes.

We have been charged with invading a small nation of Strator by none other than General Wincenty himself. Behind me stand the members of my team, and we have our orders just as you have yours. You have been charged to seize the capital as the first wave of Ennusian boots, though we are not alone. Strator has been deemed a vital threat to Ennusian national security, and the evidence presented to me is quite damning of this fact.

The group’s 88 ships were approximately 5 hours from linking up with the blockade of Strator, and twenty combat groups were mobilizing to break water. In 4 hours, his team would be wet. The landing site had been picked out using UCAV reconnaissance, and the bio-degradable boats (active usage life: 2 weeks) were being inflated and checked. In 6 hours, they’d be pounding sand and ground, ready to put a .50 cal in the hearts of their enemies.

I am pleased to announce that the first rapid reaction force is arriving in theater with the brave men and women of the 120th light division. Like all light divisions, they’ve trained specifically to take cities. Prior to commencement of major operations, the 120th is prepared to rapidly cross terrain to seize the capital, effectively cutting off any hope the enemy has of coordination. Though a small force, the division packs quite a punch, and longer-range assets such as the airforce will be showing in force. Please contact either myself or Mer des Ennuis High Command to coordinate operations.

36 Tidal Wave Class LCACs moved up, clearing the mines ahead. 9 Phalanx Class Amphibious Assault Transport Ships and 8 hovercraft landed over 50,000 marines on the beaches, including 100 M1A2 Abrams Main Battle Tanks and 96 HMMWV Humvees, as well as 1,000 SSHQ "War Elephant" Tanks.
