Taylor: Good evening - I'm Ashley Taylor, for the EBG's Broadcasting Centre. Bear in mind that this programme is protected by a glass screen, but vital parts aren't. In today's broadcast, we interview Holy Emperor Bucktooth Beaver. [turns] Emperor, it's an honour.

Bucktooth Beaver: Hello, Taylor. Pleasure to go onto this fine broadcasting group. Now, what questions do you have for me?

Taylor: First, tell us about your nation.

Bucktooth Beaver: Well, a few years ago the Allied Corporations of Vantanas grew tired of the Vantanian Authoritarian Capitalism. So, we all chipped in, buying amounts of land in the northern islands. Since I bought the most land, I was declared Holy Emperor. We still maintain corporate presence in Vantanas though, and the only way we gained independence is by becoming a dominion. Now, the Slave Caste is working diligently, the Military/Police Caste is blossoming, the Corporate Caste is growing exponentially, and the Royal Caste is ruling forcefully.

OOC: Bump?

Taylor: Your nation is stratified into castes?

Bucktooth Beaver: Technically, yes. Although it is possible to fall down a caste, or even rise a caste. If someone in the Corporate Caste has more land then me, we would swap positions. Also, if you commit crimes against the Empire you can fall into the Slave Caste or be executed.

Taylor: Now, could you tell us about your nation's culture?

Bucktooth Beaver: Of course, there's the castes. Now, the Slave Caste is put to work from the moment they can work, and provided for by the corporation that owns them. The Police/Military Caste is trained from birth to fight, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, and defends our nation proudly. The Corporate Caste is a bunch of aristocratic people, high ends of society. The Royal Caste gets basically everything. There is one college for the Corporate and Royal Castes, and two colleges for the Military/Police Caste. Fashion amongst the rich is all imported designs, as is art among the rich. Basically, culture in my nation is dead.

Taylor: So the right to participate in national culture is exclusively granted to the rich?

Bucktooth Beaver: Yes. Wouldn't want the inferior races to contaminate my culture now would we?

Tanaka: Do the less-affluent recieve any rights at all, or are they mere serfs, with lives composed of fear, suffering, and hard labour?

Bucktooth Beaver: Let me see... They're given freedom of and from religion, reproduction... I believe that is all. Might be a few things, but definitly not the Freedom to Travel, Speech, Trial, and many more. We have a word for them in the language of Novah. Bahro, or Beast People.

Tanaka: But, earlier you stated that it was possible to rise in caste - how is that possible when a huge class of people are denied the basic rights afforded to them in the UN Charter and the European Union's Charter of Fundamental Human Rights?

Bucktooth Beaver: It is possible to rise from the Police/Military Caste to the Corporate Caste, and from the Corporate Caste to the Royal Caste. However, if your in the Slave Caste, you're doomed. Besides, we don't really think of them as humans, which they technically are, but as Bahro. We're not European or in the United Nations. The only alliance we are ever likely to join is the Corporate Alliance.

You think of the slaves as beasts, what happens when someone in the Corporate, Royal or Police Class gets demoted to slave?

OOC: They would have commited a crime against the Empire, and prove they act as a Beast Person, becoming a Bahro. Not a high regard for human life in Bucktooth Beaver. Also, I'd like to add a disclaimer, this is an entirely different nation.
