The Constantine Neutral Zone and Space Station (FT, All Welcome)
OOC: Just a few OOC notes before I get to the IC meat. The Constantine Neutral Zone is presumed to be within what once was Trinity Blood Space, so no one loses any space over this. At its center is the Constantine Space port, and from it in a one falf-light year Radius in all directions, is a Neutral Zone.
It is Guarded by myself, and other FT entities, and upon request I would be delighted to draw up a list of who they are and TG them to you.
This is not really new, just a Grand re-opening of the station, to reflect the end of The Constantine Convention, and how it is reflected ICly upon events.
Those who signed may wish to post troop and ship info, as per The Constantine Convention. It sure would help me out, in any event.
There is an ITH wormhole near the Station, and of course, falls under Bal's rules for it. If you've wanted to Join, but never have, there is an ITH office on the station for you to ICly discuss it with him.
If nations not normally FT wish to become FT, but want help doing so, they too can come in, and we can let interactions begin, possibly help out with some technology to seed among your industies. Just make it seem semi-plausible as to how you got here.
One more thing, and quite possibly the most newsworthy.
I am Selling 50% ownership of the Constantine and its Neutral Zone.
No more than 10% per Player, regardless of IC entities. You must however, board the station, find my Station owner, and speak with him personally about it. Restrictions apply, and will be discussed ICly.
As there are currently 50,000 shares availible, this means no more than 5,000shares per person.
On to the IC roleplay!
IC:
The Constantine Convention was over, and nearly a month had rolled by, while the station repaired and fixed itself up.
The ships were shined, Shops were stocked, Deuce built a spiffy new Dance Hall, and the bar widened its selection.
General Harrison, together with Dr. Abrakadabra, and O'aka the 63rd, and 65th, got together, and composed a Broadcast.
"To all nations, regardless of power, Technology, Creed, Political Style, or anything else.
The Constantine Space port is proud to announce its Evolution, into The Constantine Neutral Zone, and invite one and all to come on down and check out our wide selection of shops, ships, Technology, and even our modest range of Weapons. For those looking for a Vacation, we have Holodecks of such Quality, as to be nearly unrivaled anywhere. Never heard of a Holodeck before, well that's alright friends, come on down and give one a spin. We also have Non-Technology shops. We also carry a fine selection of Magic items, potions, and many, many fine spells. We also have tailors, chocolateers, bakers, a Dance Hall, a Tavern of extremly high Quality, Gambling, Shops exclusivly for Children, and even an Amusement park near our fighting Arena.
Or maybe you don't need a Vacation, and your not out to shop. Maybe your in a fight with someone, and you both need a place to just talk it out, without fearing the other is going to shoot you. Well Folks we have places for that too. we even have specially trained Diplomacy Staff to help peace talks.
Finally, maybe your new to space travel, and intergalactic Politics. Friends, we can help you there too.
No matter your needs, no matter your wants, come on down to the Constantine space port and tell them O'aka sent you.
We hope to see you soon friends." A nice friendly recorded voice said in the transmission.
"Think it'll work?" Generaql Harrison asked.
"Well, nothing tried never works. Anything tried brings some sort of result." The 63rd said.

It was more directed at herself more than anyone elsem trying to deal with having her father back and yet Wolf missing because of it.

Meanwhile after the conference Robert Jones, the Cheif Marketing Officer of the Garbage Men was still hanging around the CSP enjoying the many things it offered. It was after enjoying a session in a private room that he heard of the option for TGM to be in on this adventure. Something that the Garbage Men had banked on for quite some time. He found one of the Security personnel and asked him to organise a meeting with Mr O'aka, the elder about a business proposition.

Inquisitor Kai Nordephal often walked the station, accompanied only by the female assassin from his entourage, and the attendant Autosavant (Who had proved invaluable in recording much of his thoughts and impressions of what occured in the station, along with actual events. Even now, without his armor, clad simply in simple silken robes, he was filled with a vague amusement, perhaps the rumbling of a pleasure at being chosen to serve as the Emperor's instrument here.
He carried his bolt pistol and power sword at his belt, not idle enough to wander the Chronosian Quarter or the free areas of the Station unarmed. He glanced at the woman, who rarely-if-ever spoke, and smiled lightly. She bore two blades at her belt, each engraved with runes that spoke of death to the enemies of the Emperor, and the victory of the quiet, subtle killer.
Even now, wandering the station, pausing to sit and contemplate his current situation upon a delicate wrought-iron bench, he smiled. He had much work ahead of him, and by the will of the Gods he would succeed. It was only a matter of time...

"Well, Currently there are 100,000 shares total that comprise ownership of the Constantine and her Neutral Zone. Pert of my reasons for selling, IS the Neutral Zone. The Government and I fully agree that if we were to continue as Sole owners, it might seem construed as not really being entirely neutral, or, Neutral but only if you play by Ri-an's rules. As you signed the Convention agreement, I'll skip that part.
I'm trying to get as many diffrent and varied owners as possible, to help keep a true neutral feel, and, yes, help in running the station.
So lets skip right to the point here. 5000 shares, that's ten percent of the availible shares, no more, no less. Their yours, for 1000 dollars per share.
That's five Million total. You'll easily make that up in the first year, and then some. There is no negotiating, its a take it or leave it offer."

The Cassiopeian Commonwealth has been a part of the Interstellar Trade Hub ever since it's come out of its shell. Saying that, not many nations knew about the small Commonwealth, other then the fact it existed... if they even knew that.
It is then the Commonwealth decided to send out a fleet of 12 battlecruisers, most of them sailing endlessly through the large void of voidness. Except one, that's right, one. One ship that was assigned to sail the ITH, it was the last one built but it was the one to find out who these other nations actually were and whatnot. It was the CNS Endorsite, the last of the 12 Air Hippo class battlecruisers that were built for exploration. How'd it look like? Like a battlestar, but bigger.
Moving on.
The CNS Endorsite was flying in hyperspace/warp/my pants when all of a sudden, a message!
To all nations, regardless of power, Technology, Creed, Political Style, or anything else.

- The Constantine Space Station
"Sir." An ensign said. "I think we should go. A station where a whole bunch of people from different places hang out, certainly helps to spread the word of our existance?"
The leader of this particular ship was Admiral Admar Jameson. He was a rather old man, his late 50s... 57 actually. He didn't like the idea of the Commonwealth having its presence known, especially since the last time that happened the Sephrion Empire almost invaded the Commonwealth. But nevermind that, he had a mission and he was quite a loyal chap. Besides, the sound of all these great things is much better then sitting on a giant chair giving orders.
He relented.
"All right." He said in a commanding voice. "Set a course!" Then, the ship stopped... they were already there. "... oh. Nevermind then. Open a channel, I wish to contact them."
The ensign did so. The Admiral began as such.
"Hello there." He stated. "I am Admiral Admar Jameson of the CNS Endorsite. We represent the peaceful state of the Cassiopeian Commonwealth and we come in peace. We ask for permission to dock, we also request that proper accomodations are made for the crew, if possible. It's a rather large one but I'm sure you can handle it, I hope. We will be waiting for a response."
And now... they would just sit there. Waiting. Their madness eating at them until they snap and they do the chicken dance... I smell reality TV series! It'd probably get cancelled.
(More info on the ship. It's a battlecruiser it's like in the 700 meter range, I never made stats for it since it's more a plot device then a ship. It fires n00ks of justice and it has fighters and shuttles in the pods since it looks like the battlestar, just a bit bigger. Hope you guys no mind.)

"From O'aka." was written on a paper tag, easily removed. It was made of steel, lined with Silver and Gold. Rubies and Emeralds adorned the case. The sides had the Company Logo on it, and the handle was engraved with his name. It was a very lovely case.
It was attuned to his Fingerprints, and at his touch, sprang open, to reveal the 5,000 shares, printed on nice thick paper that was extrordinarily pleasant too the touch.

Anthony walked into Mr. O’aka’s office about five minutes before his scheduled meeting with the senior authority of the station. He had matters to discuss with the station manager and they were important.
After waiting for a couple minutes, his office door opened and a Thoulian exited the doorway. The alien did not seem happy but that was none of Anthony’s concern. He stood and entered the office when the attendant told him O’aka was ready to see him. Anthony entered the familiar office he had visited but a couple weeks earlier when he had finished the arrangements which were interrupted when Trinity Blood disappeared mysteriously, leaving the station in the hands of Mr. O’aka. He took a seat in the same chair as before and looked over the desk at the owner of the station.
“Well, it seems to have been a tough couple weeks. I hope the forces from the conference have made themselves useful. They are not used to civilian patrols but their restraints are fully controlled by the Childer and Ta’Nar that accompanied the Kython troops.”

The Garbage Men

In Roberts ship a small Steel Case was waiting for him.
There was a not indicating similar electronic records were kept on Station systems, and had been e-mailed to him.
Robert smiled, when asked the crew said someone had droped it off. And they didn't know anything about it. The case was elegant and as he put his thumb on the thumb pad it sprung open. Feeling the paper there was only one thing Robert said. "This man has class." And then closing the briefcase and taking it with him into his compartment.
His ship got in contact with the stations Traffic controller and left.

Over that time I had seen and experienced virtually every facet of TGM operations. It was time for me to start working on my own, I started my first work on my own in the Surrepticious Collection Dept, I was there for 5 years which is the most anyone can work in that department. Before moving into a Depot. Eventually I got promoted climbing the ladder, so to speak and now I'm in charge of the Depot on the Constantine Space Port only around half a light year away."
Racheal had summarised her history. "Of course I have some medical knowledge as a result but only really how to deal with various toxins and other nasties."

Carth thinks over what was said the Two Shadow Wovles and the three Tigers that where resting in they beds at the side of the main room got up and went over to the Twins
"ok boys i'll feed"said Sky as she got up and opens a door that lead to the kitchen
hour later Sky came back as the main door open an in walks Revan, Roy and Riza
"Roy Revan a" Revan puts up a hand and Specks
"His here an Riza did a dam good job of healing him after what those bastards did to him to make him talk"Revan said to all
"he did not talk and paid dearly for it but i fix him the best i can, it now lays with him"said Riza
"can we see"ask Snow
"not for some time he still out of it and i have place him in a tank to help him now i'm going to get some sleep"said Riza then goes in to the room
"i'm going to join my wife in that idea"said Roy then goes in and close the door
"i too need sleep too i be back later"said Revan then leaves
"Then by what method shall payment be procured?"
Valdes then said, "Do ye take electronic currency? Otherwise, we have some gold bullion on hand to make the transaction."
“The real reason I made this appointment is because I wish to remind you about the offer I made on the Empire’s behalf to assist in financial support of the station. I was asked to see if you have decided to allow investors yet.”
After sharing his reasoning for selling partial ownership in the station....
"5000 shares, at 1000 per share, it amounts to 5,000,000 USD, easily made up in the first year."

The Traffic controller guided them out of the station, and 1,000 KM away, sent a signal to the ship, which brought all other systems back online.

I've been waiting for you to post. After Time/space its one to Energy and Magiscience with Xos. After one or two main things with him, We'll do a few generalised practice/learning posts in which they learn from everyone, and learn all they can in each branch, as far as their powers will take them.
Then its onto the last branch. Khalan, and the powers of Life, and Death.
Then, the final test.
Valdes then said, "Do ye take electronic currency? Otherwise, we have some gold bullion on hand to make the transaction."
"Yes, Electronic currency is fine." he said.
He walked over to the Registers, used his pass to get inot the main system, and set it up for Valdes to pay the Five Million Right then and there.

"That is all? I thought it would be more than $5 million for a 10% share in this station. That price can easily be met and wired into your account before the end of this meeting. The Empire will of course secure interest in this station. It will ensure our participation and dedication to the long term prosperity of both the ITH Branch Office and the Embassy grounds."
Anthony sent a mental command to his staff to have the funds transferred immediately.
Dax approached the station at 1/4 impulse power. As she approached the designated range, all stop was ordered and a tractor beam brought the vessel in the rest of the way to the docking port. The mooring clamps were locked and the airlock was sealed. Sisko ordered O'Brien to power down the ship's warp core. The crew got up to relax. Sisko led his officers through the airlock first since he would be making first contact.
He saw the man who looked remarkably like Q, who he had met 5 years earlier. "Greetings, I am Captain Benjamin Sisko, commander of the ISS Defiant and right now representative of the IDF."

The 63rd checked his account, and sure enough, there it was.
"Fast"
He punched in a few commands. A briefcase similar to the one he gave TGM appeared, only this time bearing the Flag and seal of the empire on it.
It was unique in that it had a computer lock, but no visible way for someone without Ta'nar abilities to open it.
"I don't know if you have similar locks, but only you or another Ta'nar can open it. I'd key it to just you, but I don't know how to do that either. All 5,000 shares are in there."
The paper was thick and pleasant to the touch.
It's been a pleasure, and i hope it'll continue being just as Pleasureable.

"Pull us out of warp..." Captain Isaac Yates ordered. He watched through the viewport as the blue of hyperspace slowly transformed into the black of realspace and the elongated stars became single points of light. So smooth. So peaceful...
BANG. The sound was short, staccato, and very, very loud. Isaac slowly closed his eyes and covered his face with his hands. "Someone, please tell me that that wasn't the hyperdrive. Again." This ship, the aptly-named Mechanic's Nightmare, had blown out its hyperdrive twice in one trip.
His first mate, Nicky "For God's sake, just call me Nick" Vyne, looked at him. "It was the hyperdrive. Again."
"We're going to have a riot on our hands," Isaac said, shaking his head. He got on the intercom. "Uh, passengers, we're going to have a slight delay. Our hyperdrive is shot, we're going to have to set down for repairs. Please remain calm, this is as frustrating to us as it is to you. Thank you." Isaac hung up and looked around, patting his knees. "Well, is there anywhere to set down? And where the hell are we?"
"We're in bat country: the edge of Trinity Blood Space. We can set down on that space station, assuming they welcome us. It reads as neutral on the IFF."
Oh, for frick's sake, Captain Todenhammer thought. "Set a course in, and give them the ol' trader's dance."
The helmsman and comms officer complied. As the ship glided towards the station smoothly on its ion engines, the comms officer queried the station:
Greetings. We're a little clan of Rogue Traders, a bit far from home space. We've got a faulty hyperdrive, and its blown out for the third time this week. Would you mind if we stopped by for repairs, maybe did a little selling, and got some rest?
For the record, we've got 2,000 metric tons of pharmaceuticals, 200 tons of beryllium, and 500 tons of small arms to trade.

As the stricken ship entered the Neutral Zone, the 60 meter frigate changed heading to interpose itself between the incoming ship and the station. While the ship was moving into position, multiple scans were made of the ship and its contents. As the ship progressed, a message was broadcast to The Mechanic’s Nightmare.
This is The Marksman. Please cut your engines and allow Control to take over at 1000 KM. She will dock your ship for you. Please contact Station control.

The CNS Endorsite picked up the following message.
#CNS Endorsite Power Down All Weapons and Reduce speed to manuvering thrusters the Blackstone Fortress computer will will guide you through the traffic to the dock best suited at the time for your

Finally, the crewmen of the entire ship, all... of them (I don't know the crew count!) could finally relax, and do their job. It seemed like a cush job. Indeed, you can interact with aliens and get shmashed. That's right, shmashed, not smashed.
The ship slowly docked, connecting and whatnot to the... dock. With them pipe things, and stuff.
The crewmen were then assembled in the ship's cafeteria. Admiral Admar Jameson was standing on a chair, with his fancy white admiral's uniform like those of the US Navy, because I'm not original. He started speaking. "Crewmen." He said. "This is the continuation of our mission to seek out new nations and to make peace with them. Saying that, a few rules. Actually two. Do not cause an interstellar incident, and don't get pregnant. This goes to the men, hell if I know how they look like inside. I don't care if you're horny, darn it."
He paused. "Well, let's go!"
Half of the crewmen entered the station, the others staying behind. Most of the ones who went, went to the various bars and whatnot... but now, on to a special one.
This was Corporal Johnson Bob, not Bob Johnson, because the former sounds cooler. He was one of the Marines that defended the ship. He looked like... okay you seen those uniforms for Battlefield 2142? Like that. He had a pistol, but he left his E-11 knockoff on the ship, if only to be nice. But if pistols ain't allowed, well, oops. Then then he has no pistols.
He walked into one of the many public quarter thingers and to the bar. He asked for milk... because alcohol makes you dumb. Especially vodka, dirty Soviets.
He decided to go on a monolouge, because he can. "You know..." He said. "I've been sailing through space protecting a ship armed with missiles, and you know the only ships that attack us are like these flying triangles. And they just stand there."
He was talking of course about Star Destroyers.
"No." He continued. "You ever been in a battle involving one? I was in a frigate over some planet called Aios. They sent fighters and they blew up, all of 'em. But no! It's like, fah. Of course we haven't been attacked yet but to be honest we haven't met anybody new. Space is big, really big. Hope I meet somebody." Hint hint. "I mean, you can only talk about porn so much with other soldiers, and the Sergeant's got a beaver up his rear end."
He got his milk thing. "Thanks." He paused. "... I'm effin' bored."
Meanwhile, the Admiral was walking with two Marines as a bodyguard force. He approached a random worker of the station. "Excuse me." He said. "Is there a special area for Government officials? My crewmen are out and about the station mingling but I have a mission to make friendly with other nations."
He paused. "Oh I forgot. I'm Admiral Admar Jameson of the Cassiopeian Commonwealth, I'm the one with the battlecruiser parked outside." He smiled. "Anyway, do you have any recommendations?"
And thus, chaos. Or hilarity. Or seriousness. Actually I really don't know.
(Errm... I hope you don't mind the post I did. I haven't had a bloody character RP in a while and I'm a bit rusty. >_>)

A maintenence hatch for one of the thrusters started ticking as it contracted, then fell to the floor with a crash [OOC: I'm assuming I'm in a docking bay], punctuating the captain's statement.
OOC: Yes, in a bay. 44 Aquamarinians.
IC: The Aquamarinaians enetered the ship, and scattered throughout setting into repairs. Aquamarinians were all Brilliant scientists and engineers. It would be a very great challenge to find something they couldn't repair to a state of new.
In response to the Captain's station, a young lady spoke up.
"that's what I'm here for. Come on!" she said. She lead them through the station, and to a set of shops which all held models of the engines they sold.

He paused. "Also, she might have some sort of disease, hell if I know. All I know is you try living on a ship where your squad talks about bangin' his chick sideways upsidedown from the ceiling while the Imperial Light Orchestra is playing Just a Woman in the background, it gets annoying man. Real annoying."

The Admiral twitched. "... they protect the station?!" He sighed. "Ah well, last I heard that stupid Empire hasn't blown anything up so I can't complain."
One of the Marines behind him shrugged. ... they will eventually. He thought.
Admar sighed. "Well, saying that. Is there a way I can arrange for a Cassiopeian Embassy? Assumming the Government approves, it not, is there a way for my ship to be a makeshift Embassy? I ask this because my Government isn't exactly well known for its... cordiallity. If that's a word." He turned to one of the Marines. "Go back to the ship and go to a communications console, then wait for further orders."

"Alyt. The Solari have entered the system." the sensor officer noted, clicking at his panel.
Alyt Branmer looked gravely around the battle bridge, the majestic 3-D projections of the Solari fleet and Minbari flotilla, as well as Constantine Station and the various ships floating about that.
"Dephase from jump space, Nav. Arm all weapons, raise shields, and open a channel to the station when we're out of jumpspace. The Ne`shatans are going to have the initiative here, they're the ones armed with the anti-Kython weaponry. We're sitting back and commanding the show." the Alyt said, still staring gravely.
Next to the Solari fleet, 5 Minbari ships phased out of jumpspace in a battle line formation. The single Sharlin battlecruiser in the rear of the formation, with the two Ne`shatan destroyers, then in front were three Sinclair class frigates. The fleet was comparitively small to the Solari flotilla, but it could easily deliver far more firepower than similarly sized fleets.
A single transmission was sent to Constantine Station, stating, "The Balroggan influence on Constantine will not be tolerated. They will remove themselves or we will remove them."

Money does more than talk: sometimes it gives orders. In this case, money is used to order a flotilla of Corporate warships near a large space station and its defenders.
Seven ships from the Ambrosia Incorporated Defense Forces phase into the system directly opposite their Condottieri counterparts. The AmDns Solaris, AmCru Meson, AmCru Banshee, AmDes Tearful, AmDes Turion, AmDes Fear, and the AmDes Hyper all readied to begin the attack if the order came. They were also accompanied by a hellishly large number of strike-craft and Scattertubes, as well as clouds and clouds of drones.
Detection would be difficult for the defenders, however. Stealth systems were operating at full power to make the seven warships as invisible as possible. All emitted and absorbed radiation was shunted into a substrata of hyperspace, while the distortion fields hid most of their mass by distributing over and extremely wide area. The net cost however, was staggering: 6.276 x 10^9 joules of energy used per second. The attack had to happen soon if it was to happen at all.
Dresden: Hostiles everywhere.
Hollenhai: Damn it, we should have been allowed more recon than this.

The Constantine Space Port is a neutral zone as by international agreement. It is a place to foster trade and intergalactic relationships. Such a force is violation of the Ports neutrality. Unless you remove your ships from the neutral zone you will contravene the articles set forth in the Constantine treaty. As such many, many nations are obligated to send defense in Aid of the Constantine Space Port. Including ourselves remove your selves from the area or we have no option but to fire.

a light year out side the station space, 25 ships floated along ominously cutting through space. the largest ship moved at the head of the fleet, its ominous body shimmering gently in the dark void of space.
The bridge was loud, the Capitan sat on his chair growling his lips quivering up to revile his perfect teeth, his hands fisted as his brown eyes focused on the screen. he sighed and looked over to his con officer.
he said in a loud commanding voice "All ships set a course for that station, general quarters I repeat all ships general quarters , all hands to battle stations!" suddenly across the massive battle carrier lights blared red up and down in unison, alarms reverberating throughout the ship.
Suddenly the massive ships shimmered in to nothingness there FTL drives charging up and making them disappear in to a flash of bright white light.
The Capitan stared at his tactical officer and grinned saying "if we go in, scan things make sure who's who, then send them these messages.
Message from the 5th fleet: to allied ships
Our forces are hear to assist you, while we have a key leader on the station, our president we will inform you had he not been on there we would have assisted if we where in the area, we suggest using long range ships against these foes as well as short and medium ranged vessels.
To the enemy fleet:
We Demand you stand down immediately and leave the area at once, you have violated sovereign space and have put key members of the united colonial planets at risk of death, this is an act of war against our nation, if you do not back down we will destroy your fleet.
...
President bastidas sighed he was with his hopefully to be his future wife, he taped on his Communications patch on his hand and started to speak, the single traveled to the fleet outside they would relay it back to HQ then it would be relayed to allied factions.

The 63rd sent the demands to Anthony Stark.
"We have a hostile fleet bearing down on these coordinates, they seem to want blood and are making unreasonable demands, I'm trapped on here and my fleet is currently waiting for a response, I'm asking for a federal fleet to be amassed in case fighting brakes out, and I'm asking all allied factions for assistance, as these hostiles are sure to have allies." Fleet Captain Sorvy read a slip of paper that fed slowly from the tactical console before him.
Fleet Admiral Tolku stroked his chin in contemplation. His Task Force was capable of responding quickly enough, but...why? In general, the Aumanii were apathetic to the goings on in their adopted home, preferring to remain low key and not draw any attention to themselves... They were quite vulnerable, afterall.
On the other hand, Aumanii civilians were fighting a day to day battle to maintain their previous way of life, which was sure to deteriorate further if they didn't make friends, and soon.
Tolku's men were distracted, racked by fear for their families. Many of them wished they were home now, working in the struggling industries to make money, so their children wouldn't go with out...Military service at this time was a national service! And naturally, it didn't pay too well, especially in light of the economic depression.
'Prepare the Fleet for action, Captain. Set the drives for the coordinates provided.' said Tolku casually, hands clasped behind his back. Sorvy shot a quick salute and promptly went about shouting orders and storming about the deck, roughly, "aiding" the men.
And like that, after several minutes of terse radio chatter between the Captains and ships assembled, the Fleet faded briefly out of existence, only to return a fair ways away from Constantine Station...not close enough for the Solari and their friends to take it as an immediate threat...but close enough for them to acknowledge their presence through passive scanning...
But, if they had gone unnoticed...All fifty nine vessels attached to the Aumanii Battlespace Dominator Cerberus begun aggressive scans and attempted to achieve firing solutions on, well, everything they could see.
Fleet General Tolku, speaking into the mouth of a vox-reciever, sent this grainy message to anyone listening:
'Why don't you leave these poor people alone? This is the Aumanii Battlespace Domination Task Force, Codename: Infinite Hat. Power down your weapons and prepare for boarding. Piracy is considered an illegal activity in the Vascilian Charter. Regardless of the other parties assembled here, we will take action.
If you wish to take up arms against us, please keep in mind, reinforcements are en route.
Power down and prepare to be boarded. That is all.'
While reinforcements were on their way, thanks to the quick teletype action taken by Cerberus' Communications crew...no one could predict when it would arrive.

Anthony was reading several messages that arrived via the Space Minus Transmitter over the past hour. He was about to reply to one from an old student of his that was helping teach at the University. The Ta’Nar had high hopes and looked like he might even make it to Head Instructor of the BioKinetics Department at the Imperial University. He was interrupted by the reception of an urgent message from Mr. O’aka that was accompanied with a list of demands.
Demand 1: The Balroggan ITH Gate will be closed.
Demand 2: The Balroggans will be removed from the station.
That is all. If these demands cannot be met peacefully, we have recieved authorization to enforce them by use of our armament and embarked marines. And collaborators that attempt to aid the Balroggans in remaining will be treated as such, and removed.
“What the hell?”
He reread the demands. He could not believe what he was reading. He sent a mental message to one of his aids to report the situation back home. Within moments, the Space Minus Transmitter was active and transmitting all the known information while Anthony left the Embassy to seek Mr. O’aka, the 63rd.
After a little time passes, he located the elder owner of the station and willed himself to O’aka’s location. He faded into existence near the old gentleman.
“I am awaiting word back from my government but they usually refuse to deal with terrorists. They cannot fire on the Station without committing an act of war against all these who signed the Treaty last week. Even if they haven’t set up their Embassy itself, the space still is part of their government and firing at the station in any way would endanger them.”
“Any word from the other Signatories? I see TGM, Isa, and a few others. Have you contacted them to see what they want to do about this? How about the Investors?”
Anthony accesses his personal PC and checked on the names of the Signatories of the Treaty.

He also noticed there were at least two known GFFA members on the list. They are either shooting at their own allies or there is a plan to use their presence to attack from within.
“Mr. O’aka, it might be prudent to keep an eye upon their allies during this crisis. It has happened more than once the outer gate was left open from within. Also, may I use the open channel? I have something to discuss with those out there.”
After getting permission to use the radio, Anthony contacted those outside the station using a broad frequency.
“Attention alien attack fleets. You are committing an unlawful act. You are invading Ri-an Space and threatening to destroy a civilian target with your act of terrorism."
"I have sent a message, but I have not heard back from my government in regards to your demands. I might add that in the past they have never made deals with terrorist, especially those that threaten civilian targets.”
“If you fire a single shot at this station you are declaring war against all members of the Constantine Trading Station. Each nation was granted Embassy Grounds when they sighed the Treaty meaning you are threatening to fire upon the nations of Imperial Isa, Ri-an, Chronosia, Balrogga, The Jade Star, Thrashia, CoreWorlds, The Garbage Men, Hailung, The Humankind Abh, Sephrioth, and TheBlackLotusSociety. There are also other nations that have requested Embassies after the Signatories signed the Treaty. It would be foolish to attempt anything even remotely like what you have done."
“As for your demand about the ITH Gate, you need to take it up with them. The Intergalactic Trade Hub in completely autonomous from the Empire. It is also owned by Outer Heaven. You would have to take it up with them, not us. If you endanger the ITH by attacking it, I can only imagine what the 140 members of the Directory would do if you threatened their economical livelihood. Your hounds are barking up the wrong tree with that request.”
“In summery, you are going to have to wait for the cogs of government to turn before anything can be accomplished. Until then you have three choices. They are shooting the station, Listening to Mr. O’aka, or going away. The last two are the smartest choices.”
Anthony sighed and turned towards Mr. O’aka.
“If you truly want us to leave, we would not argue but I would like to remind you we never brought this here. Their claims to neutrality not existing here is complete bullshit. I would have ignored their presence on this station if they entered the station to do peaceful business. You know the truth of my words.”

Kai smiled lightly, sitting back having delivered his message, the assassin still at his side. He seemed almost non-chalant, barely concerned by all that was occuring.
"Ready the men" He whispered to the trailing autosavant. "I feel it shall be a most interesting time for us here..."

If you take the wise course and capitulate, there will be no bloodshed. Those that do not resist us need not fear our actions, as we have no quarrel with them, until they give us reason. You seem to mistake us for barbarians, sated only by blood. We are mercenaries sir, and if we can get payed without having to actually kill anything, we are more than happy to do so. I was also under the impression that this station and its environs truly belonged to no one, and that this was international space. If such is in fact not the case, then we will simply take our demands to the Ri-an government, as the controllers of this area. You may deliver our message to the Hub. We do not fear your defunct and gutted register of names. Nations that have not existed for centuries do not frighten us. Your register reads a bare thirty nations. Thirty, at most. More like 5 in truth. And how is it, that the gates, created by your own Empire, and revealed as such by said Empire, no longer remain under the control of your Empire? Are you so weak and ineffectual as that?
Remember, all nations here stationed, the Balroggans have brought this war upon you through their actions. We do not wish the deaths of any, as we are likely to join in the roles of the dead, but if they do not acquiesce to our short and quite simple list of demands, that they cease to violate the neutrality of this station by removing themselves from it, and we will disperse. If they do not accept these terms, we will board and remove them. Only those that resist our passage shall come to harm by our hand, we do not slaughter indiscriminately. To do so would undercut our reputation for fair dealings with our employers and our opponents, and reduce our contracts by a significant margin. So, as you can see, we have no reason to desire your deaths, and every reason to prevent them, as best we can,. while still fulfilling our mission.

You cannot be neutral, you cannot remain as a neurtal party when war is forced upon you, war not from those here-gethered, but from vile and desperate men."
He bowed lightly, risking a glance to the assassin by his side, smiling as he rises. "I would ultimately suggest that you pursue a formal alliance with the ESUS. The Constantine Space Station
Corporal Johnson Bob was drinking his milk, looking at the various folks, and really just making small talk with the bartender.
"The Commonwealth really is a nice place to live in." He stated. "It's always sunny you know, at least, in the home planet. It's called Rosanica. Everybody lives on a huge island but there's an giant archipelago, nobody ever goes there though, apparently it's cursed. The buildings are beautiful and the women, the women are easy!"
He took another sip. "Yah man, the Commonwealth's a good place. Almost got invaded by the Sephrions." He smirked. "But we showed them."
Then, an alarm.
EMERGENCY, EMERGENCY, EMERGENCY.
He looked around, confused. Emergency? Wasn't this a neutral station...?
"Hello?"
The pair of Admiral Admar Jameson and his sole Marine bodyguard looked around. He saw Mr. O'aka, but then, the alarm. He looked around, what the hell? And then he turned to the window... that's sure was a lot of ships. He then overheard random people shouting. "Invasion!" and "Oh noez!"
Then, a message.
Admiral. It was an ensign via the communications console inside the battlecruiser. Listen to this...
In the name of the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances, we hereby call upon the Balroggans to remove themselves from this station, and all who would trade with them to cease. The funds generate here are being used to fund their war effort against the Galactic Federation. As Condottieri, we are here to ensure that such action ceases, and that all Balroggan activities in and around this station are halted.
The Admiral opened his mouth. "Eh wha?!"
Yah. We've been monitering the conversations between the factions. This seems more like an independent job, the Coreworlds protect the station so it makes no sense if they're helping the Balroggans, and last I remember the Coreworlds is part of this GFFA and Balrogga part of this... ESUS.
He paused. Not only that, there's Minbari ships in the area, our allies. They seem to be in on this as well. It's quite an awkward situation.
Adar looked at Mr. O'aka. "... well. I was going to request an Embassy but it seems we have bigger problems." He looked at the Chronosian. "Hello."
He sighed and sent another message. "Tell the crew to go back to the ship. We might have to leave." He paused. "And ask that hostile fleet what the hell they're doing here."
TO: Unknown Fleet
FROM: CNS Endorsite
Hello. We are a neutral faction inside this space station. We found it riding the
International Trade Hub, an organization that we are part of. We represent
the Cassiopeian Commonwealth, a small nationstate of seven planets. We wish
to know, what are you doing here?
He sighed and looked at Mr. O'aka "What the hell is going on, exactly?"
Johnson Bob and the rest of the crew then picked up the following message.
All crewmen of the CNS Endorsite return to battlestations, I repeat, all crew of the CNS Endorsite return to battlestations.
Johnson Bob coughed. "... oh hell no! I just got here and I'm not going back inside that ship. Funk that. And I'm sure sitting inside a ship isn't going to help if boarders come inside." He looked at the bartender and took out his small pistol. "Where am I needed eh?" He winked.
And now, chaos.

"What the fuck is going on here and why are the Solarins being bastards?!" Naruto roared, scaring his subordinates, who arrived at the station to take up positons of protection as part of the Neutral Zone agreements. Hinata tried to calm her husband down.
"Naruto-sama, it seems they want to kick Balrogga out of the station for some reason or other. No reason given so far." A Coredian soldier replied, giving him the dispatches.
"I see. Get me their number." Naruto growled as he pulled out his commlink, hooked up with the Star Destroyer and hailed the Solarins. "Solarin Fleet. Doron had been sitting in a room that had been alotted as his diplomatic quarters for the time being. They were small but suited his needs for a temporary measure. He had no intention of staying in a station that lacked the suitable pressence of another Abh. Red wine had been ordered to his room and he had taken the afternoon to relax and enjoy a bit of art through his Froch. Light pulsed through his mind's eye along with different shapes intricatly changing and playing off one another.
It was a peaceful afternoon. Or at least it was supposed to be. An alarm rang out through the station which disturbed him from his concentration. Sighing, he unplugged his Froch and pulled on his cloak covering both lightsabers. "What the hell is going on here now?"
Opening the door, he saw people running about going to shelters and other stations. He grabbed one individual and asked what was going on. "It's the Solari, they're demanding that the Balroggans be turned out from this station or else they'll open fire."
Doron shrugged not seeing what the big deal was. "So what? As far as I'm concerned, they can throw the Balroggans out an airlock. What does this have to do with the rest of us?"
"They're serious about it. They've even brought another GFFA ally with them."
THAT caught Doron's attention. "What?! We never gave any permission for tactical strikes on civilian targets and the Solarin are no longer members of the alliance. Who is the other nation?"
"Th-the Minbari I think. Now let me go."
Doron released the man. "What the hell? No. No. NO! The stupid bastards are going to cause more harm then good."
Leaving the hall, the Abriel returned to his room and established a communication link with the capitol. "Lakfakallae, secure channel recommended, make sure you boys at the switch can keep up with the changing computers.
....
This is Prince Abriel Nei Dobrusk Paryunu Doron at the Constantine space station. We have a slight situation here. Please dispatch me to Admiral Spoor.
....
Admiral Spoor? Hello Baroness. Yes, yes I'm doing fine. Admiral, what is the status of your forces? ... I see. Well I have a slight situation at the Constantine space station. I would like the presence of Latopanyu garrison forces to handle it. I know I'm asking much but it will save us all a lot of heart ache further down the road. ... The Solarin League and the Minbari ... If you can aquire them, then that would be wonderful. ... Great. I'll join you in space once you arrive and lead a squadron with my own."
Doron left his quarters and made his way toward the docking bay. He knew this was going to get ugly real fast, but he never did fancy diplomacy.

Anthony suddenly received a message from the Embassy. He listened to the message and turned to Dr. O’aka.
“Reinforcements have been sent by the Empire. They lie off-phased outside Real Space waiting for you to give the order for their activity. Personally, I would rather this didn’t come down to fighting because I made that promise the day Trinity Blood disappeared. I will participate in a defensive fight for the Station but while within the Neutral Zone, I think we should resort to violence as a last option, unless forced upon us by the Terrorists. If they are that stupid, then they deserve what they get.”
The three Imperial ships continued on their assigned patrols, as ordered by Mr. O’aka as part of the standard duties for the forces send by the Treaty Signers. The Frigate, Destroyer, and Battleship does nothing to the invader fleet other than scanning them. All data is shared through the real-time battle computer Link and the ESUS Battlenet as well as the Space Minus Transmitter so all involved has up to the minute data on the enemy fleet.

Can you match a 3 trillion dollar contract, plus our penalty for defaulting on it? If so, we'll be quite willing to wander off. But you know, ships and fuel are expensive to just waste, so, if you can't match it, we'll be quire forced to carry out our contract, as we were hired to do.

Under the rules of war created at the Hague conventions of 1899 and 1907, TSL is absolutely correct about the station not being neutral territory. In hosting and allowing a belligerent party in the war to operate from the station, the station's neutrality has been forfeit. While I'm not saying that the Hague conventions hold water in NS, let alone FT NS, I just thought I'd point that out.
Secondly, I believe that the mercenaries would probably be more properly termed 'privateers' as opposed to mercenaries. Though to be fair, I suppose that would hinge on whether or not a letter of marque has been issued to them.
Third, I seriously question the logistical and command feasability of anyone getting any reinforcements to the battle at the drop of a hat, let alone entire formations of ships.
Just thought I'd give an outsider's perspective to the whole thing since arguing seems to be setting in.

Third, I seriously question the logistical and command feasability of anyone getting any reinforcements to the battle at the drop of a hat, let alone entire formations of ships.
Just thought I'd give an outsider's perspective to the whole thing since arguing seems to be setting in.

The stations are host to a number of nations including nations that are hostile to each other, ie coreworlds. Another thing what action(s) have Balrogga done involving the station have anything to do with the war. IF Balrogga was a beligerent nation their beligerence has so far had nothing at all to do with the station which is a civilian target.
It would be like the allies in WW2 invading Denmark because the Danes have been engaged in civilian trade with Germany.

That's Balrogga's Intergalactic Trade Hub working. He runs it, and he has forces dedicated to protecting the normal operations of the wormhole network that allows the trade hub to work. Travel time for these forces is 10 minutes, regardless of distance.
It isn't the travel time I question so much as the fact that the forces were even available in such a short time span as though they had been waiting to deploy for just this kind of thing. Warships aren't like fighters that can scramble in minutes. They take hours and days to outfit and crew, run final checks, and all the other preparations for deployment.

Economic warfare has always been a major part of war, be it pillaging the countryside and closing caravans or the merchant raiding practiced by the German and American navies during WWII and carpet bombings of industrial centers. If the Balroggans are making money with the station that funds their war effort, most would see removing them from the station by any means possible as a perfectly legitimate military objective.
Rather than invading Denmark because the Danes were trading with the Germans, it would be more akin to invading Sweden because the Swedes supplied the Germans with most of the iron ore and steel that fed the German war machine while allowing the Germans to use their railways to move troops.

These are not so much military forces as they are a police force. Whenever somebody calls 911, is it necessary to wake a police officer up, get him dressed, make sure he has a nice hearty breakfast, ensure that he is properly armed, ensure that his vehicle is in pristine working condition, and that the officer even knows how to drive?
No.

OOC: I'm only paying attention to this thread because Auman seems to have decided to stick his nose where it doesn't belong, but I just thought I'd point out a few things.
OOC:
First point:
The Station was created by Ri-an (and a deleted character) and he allows other nations to establish embassies there. He calls it Neutral territory and it was agreed upon during a meeting of several nations including members of the GE, ESUS, and GFFA, The owner wants no war here and we basically agreed. That is why it is a "Neutral" Zone. If I am to be booted because of an alliance war, then all alliance members across NS also needs to never attempt to sit at a table and work out peaceful projects together.
Second:
He himself stated he was a group of mercenaries several times and other GFFA members know nothing of the supposed arrangements between the GFFA and them. I doubt any Letter of Marque was issued or he would have used it as a foundation for a legal way of intruding instead if invading.
Third:
With the ESUS-GFFA war going on I have forces standing by for emergency situations. They use artificially generated wormholes much like many on NS does. They did not use the ITH to travel there, which is reserved for civilian traffic. I impose a ten minute travel time on my wormholes instead of insta-travel like many of the others use. When Anthony got the message, he sent word back home. They would have ordered the reinforcements to travel the fasted way to the station. They sent them to a nearby system and the ships used their Dimensional Drives to travel the rest of the way. I needed ten minutes for a direct transport via wormhole but once the invaders gave their hour time limit, the ships were redirected and finished the trip using T-Space. Home informed the Embassy which passed along word to Anthony who is with Mr. O'aka, the station owner.
Personally I don't want to use the back-up and ICly I feel the same. It is there for the last chance. If they leave or sit down with O'aka, then the ships will not be used and people will never know they were there ICly. That is the desirable outcome. If it comes to battling, I want to give the Treaty those 11 players signed last week (RL and IC) to have its chance to stand for the station. I will only bring them into play if told to by Ri-an/O'aka.
I think that is fair.
And now for your last (and unnumbered) point. This will be the last I mention these in this Thread. I agree there is too much OOC and this argument should be taken to my Arguments Thread where it will not disturb this Thread any further.
I hope I explained my logic without sounding too condescending. I just wanted to answer your questions.

Time undulated over the organic /explore-ship/ and the /humanoid-test/ passed her moments walking through the ship's warm corridors. The human strain had not yet been full integrated into the kesshii, and her oculars were improperly formed. Her bare feet were led as much by memory as any sensory information.
There was a tingling inside her head. Knowledge flowed and unfurled in her mind: the voyage would soon be over. A curious thrill trickled down her spine, filling her belly with a taunt excitement. She knew there were creatures in the /dead-life-sphere/ that were non-kesshii. Creatures like the humans whose DNA she had been birthed from. She reached out with her mind and tugged on that of the scout drone she knew. The scout drones, like herself, had no names, but it was familiar to her. The creature was sleeping, but she felt its consciousness stir at the touch of her mind.
Outside, the /explore-ship/ entered the area around the The Constantine Spacestation, it's inversion drive giving off the characteristic low wave photons of cold fusion.

Johnson Bob was walking around the station seeing the entire situation. Security forces getting rifles, civilians hiding, orders being made. He, meanwhile, was looking for something to do. Anything. Like, even if it involves mopping the floor.
Of course the Admiral was concerned with other things.
Sir! The communications ensign stated to the Admiral via some sort of fancy system. The crew is on board... sort of.
Mind you the Admiral didn't have time to deal with mutiny. He was trying to deal with a delicate diplomatic situation in which apparently their allies were involved. One of their only allies, mind. Not only that but there was his original mission, and Admar was sure that the Cassiopeian Government did not want to hear of another diplomatic mission gone FUBAR. In fact, that's the last thing they want to hear.
But alas...
The Admiral coughed. "What do you mean... sort of?"
The ensign replied in such. Well sir, other then you and Private Geraldo. The Admiral's bodyguard. There's another marine missing... a Corporal Johnson Bob. The only one mind, and apparently he's still in the station.
Admar sighed. "Fah!" He shouted. "Private go find the Corporal, I need to deal with some things that are more important."
The Private saluted and entered the porthole and left. This was horrible for the Admiral, he's never had this much happen to him at once. A missing crewman, a delicate diplomatic situation, and an angry Government that could be behind him to whip his head, boy.
The Admiral shook his head. "Do we have any more information?"
Well. The ensign said. Mercenaries, not associated with any sort of Government. And it seems that the Coreworlds do not approve of this, and last I remember they're the GFFA. It seems like it's piracy more then an actual invasion.
The Admiral saw Mr. O'aka and all those gathered. He walked up to all of them. Thus, ranting. "Look you." He stated. "I have a battlecruiser ready to help, but my allies are involved in this, and maybe the Government knew before me but I certainly didn't. Not only that I have a man of mine inside the station when he's not supposed to."
He paused. "Now, can't any of you tell me what the hell is going on in detail? Any of you?"
No I don't have a witty sentence to end the post with.

"We know the Galactic Federation, as a whole, did not purchase these mercenaries. The Consul is controlled by the Abh Empire and New Dornalia and an order of this can only be passed by both Consul members. Consullor Abriel did not approve of such a thing, I can assure you. The Abh look at mercenaries the same way they do at pirates, and that is not in a favorable light. This leaves us with two options. One is that a faction within the alliance has decided to be a hero and hire mercenaries to help fight the war. If this is the case, then once sufficient evidence is provided; the failing member of the alliance can be removed at once.
The other option is that some hostile government has viewed this station as a golden opportunity to drag the name of the Galactic Federation through the mud. My suspicions would be the second option. Any mercenary worth their grain of salt does not mention their employer openly upon attack. These have already done so as soon as they arrived. Now, they could just be piss-poor mercenaries but there is always the option that someone is out to get you."

That only holds true if there is no reason not to, in this case our justification stems from the nature of our employers. Supreme Councilor Jorrus, while in the middle of meditation hovering in mid-air, was startled by the sudden cry of the Comm's officer completely throwing him out of proportion. He wounded up loosing control and fell from the air, landed with an "OMPH," "Ow.... Yes, Comms, what is it that you need to report that should interrupt my meditation period? It's the only time I have off from classes..."
"Sorry sir. We just got a disturbing report from our long range communications on the Constantine Space Station."
Jorrus looked puzzled at this, "It's a neutral zone station isn't it? Signed by members of the GFFA, ESUS, and GE isn't it? What's the problem there?"
"*sigh* It seems that the Solarin's have declared a form of war... They're declaring that all ESUS members leave the station. Specifically, Balrogga. They're saying that you're a member of the GFFA which signed the merc's permission to attack the neutral station."
"...YOU'RE SHITTIN' ME! I sure as hell haven't signed any such contract! It's against our nature and law to attack neutral zones. Hell, even against our darker brethren (huntarian empire) won't attack inhabited neutral zones even if it came from Palpatine himself. It's dishonorable to do such a thing... Neutral Zones are fragile enough areas as it is. I've been busy with our Civil War efforts and our new found allies... The Woodians. I don't have time for such contracts unless they're related to our Civil War... Which the only "mercs" I've highered are the New Dornalians..."
"Aye. Course of action?"
"I'm going over there personally. I'd like to find out very much what's going on and how they could've even had my signature on the said paper... Ready my personal flag ship and any available ships we have. This could get messy."
"Aye sir."

Even for mercenaries, these guys were a pain in the ass to deal with. Doron was groing far more frustrated by the minute, but there were some things beginning to make sense here.
"I see. So by the nature of your employer, you were instructed to reveal the Galactic Federation as your sponsor. Interesting. Still you could have made a successful raid without anyone ever having known your origins as mercenaries, therefore your security would never had been compromised leaving the rest to wonder who was responsible for this act. With this aside, it brings me back to my original point of asking you to hold off while this order is confirmed. I assure you that you will receive compensation for wasted time and fuel. After this order is confirmed, we can then give you more appropriate targets and discuss additional fees."
We could not raid the station. ROE instructs no direct strikes against the station, or non-resisting polities here based. Our options were severely limited, as you may note. I will contact my superiors, and halt the countdown. If, by the time I have contacted higher, received confirmation of an extended deadline, and enacted said deadline, you have not managed to return a result from your inquiry I will be extremely upset.

First:
You have had someone asking if they can dock for three time now. You are the one who was controlling that part of the Station with your characters. Could you please answer them before they decide we are not friendly?
Second:
TSL would be able to detect the energy spikes from your ships as you try to transport. His sheilds would block the transporters from establishing a lock so the system would not engage unless you disabled the failsafes. If you did that, the objects would either rebound and appear on your transport pads, be shunted elsewhere, or even be lost and destroyed in the teleport process.
If you don't agree with the sheild blocking them, it was used as several plot devices in many ST episodes where they had to drop their own sheilds to beam people up but someone was firing at them.

All wasn't well in wonderland.
The Admiral sighed, he was getting truly sick of this conundrum. Indeed, he's never seen anything like it and he certainly had a feeling that these things happened all the time. After this he would want a vacation, a very long one. "... well. You know we're going to have to think of a solution one way or another. We can bribe them, blow them up, or... I don't think there's a third option."
Sir. It was that darned communications officer again. Update, we still can't find that Marine. Also, the crew here are getting anxious. Some want to leave and other want to stay, I think there might be a mutiny if you don't come here soon.
Mutiny.
The Admiral's vein on his head popped. "... fah! Tell them to shut the hell up, Admiral's orders." He paused. "And find that bloody Marine!"
Johnson was having a different problem.
He decided that staying here wasn't going to do anything. If he was going to solve something he'd do it right, he'd fly there and start shooting. So, an idea. He had no idea where the hangers were but certainly there were maps scattered... but what fighter could a Cassiopeian fly that was easy due to experience?
Sephrion!
Johnson had his lightbulb bright indeed. Granted he had no idea what the interstellar consequences would be, but nevermind that. He took his pistol and started running, he was going to help darn it. Even if the method was a bit... awry.

"You heard them." Said Proudhon to the Utopia's captain.
Weapons and shields on the bird-like ship had been powered down, leaving only the armor powered up on a ship that looked like a three-pronged claw, the middle being three to four times longer and twice as wide as the adjacent talons.
Once the ship had been guided in, Proudhon and several escorts stepped off the ship onto the metal floor awaiting them, and waited to be escorted to wherever the proper authorities for discussing trade were located.
Meanwhile, several large pods were unlocked in the Utopia's cargo hold.

Anthony listened to Mr. O'aka talking about paying the mercenaries off. The notion of appeasing them didn’t sit well with him but the station was under O’aka’s command.
“I suppose paying them would add extortion to their list of offenses. Personally, I think the diplomatic process should be tried and then the Treaty used to defend the station. Paying them off, while being a political tradition, might undermine the validity of the spirit behind the Treaty.”
“They already said they could not fire at the station and if they did, the results politically would put not only their mercenary companies at risk, it would put their “employers” at risk. Even if it was proven differently, some nations might take their threat to their families since there isn’t a government entity to target for retaliation, which has happened in history before.”
Anthony glances at the chronograph to see how much time remains before the deadline expires. He knew his government would not cave into the demands of the terrorist because it would open too many doors with the precedent. They would only leave if O’aka requested them to do so.
Deep within T-Space, several of the ships that arrived to reinforce the Station were generating Avatars for use if things went bad. They sat outside the STC waiting for the signal to intervene.

The ITH
The Delta Serpentis Jump Gate was a special Jump Gate. Not necessarily because it was closed off, but because it led to Outer Heaven MK II, the Nation that had co-led the ITH until it disappeared many years ago. Since then, the Gate had been near decommissioned, never opened, with even running lights shut off.
With this in mind, surprise was tangible as the Gate suddenly activated. For the first time in over a century, something was coming from Delta Serpentis. Or so it seemed.
After a few moments, an Orion Class destroyer and two Deimos Class corvettes jumped into the ITH. Not wasting any time, the ships immediately proceeded to the Constantine Space Station gate. ITH Police on station tried to intercept the ships, which seemed to hold many things in common with Outer Heaven ships, but the small fleet was too quick. And the ships seemed to wield quite a fair bit of control over the ITH. As the Fighters of the ITH Policing fleet closed in, the Constantine Space Station gate opened up, and the ships dived in, closing the gate down behind them. The Policing ships tried to open up the gate again, but found that they had lost control over that gate...
The Constantine Space Station
As the timer ticked past fourty minutes, the Constantine gate opened. After a few moments, the 3.5KM Orion and it's Deimos escorts dropped into realspace, taking up positions within 10KM of the gate. As Fighters were deployed in sentry patterns around the three Ships, a message was sent forth:
[All ships, this is the DVD Alanis. While we hail from Dos Volodis, I can assure you, we are Serpantians, and of course, co-owners of the ITH. Now, would someone care to explain why a valuable service is being halted? We recieved a transmission about a sort of situation brewing here.]

When the message from the ITH Police Cruisers came through, Anthony seemed surprised. The Empire hasn’t heard from Outer Heaven in years. They mysteriously closed their gates and was never heard from again, except for the ITH vessels they already had in the system, no further contact came from them. Anthony sent the newly appeared ships a message.
“Greetings old friends, we haven’t heard from you for quite some time. The last was when you played host for our Emperor aboard one of your new ships. After that we lost you on the radar. How are things?”
----------
Elsewhere in the station in the branch office of the ITH, the Branch President Nir’Vahl was sitting in his office trying to do damage control.
Why the hell did those damn mercs have to pop in here and ruin business? Restricting incoming access has seriously ruined the projected profits for the month. If this continues, my bonus will suffer.
The intercom on the mahogany desk buzzed.
“Sir, there has been an unauthorized access of the Gate.”
“What? What the hell is going to happen next? Is it going to rain frogs?”
“Almost that level of miracle. The ships are from Outer Heaven and they are transmitting a message. It is being forwarded on Channel two.”
Nir’Vahl activated the other channel in a different display.
[All ships, this is the DVD Alanis. While we hail from Dos Volodis, I can assure you, we are Serpantians, and of course, co-owners of the ITH. Now, would someone care to explain why a valuable service is being halted? We recieved a transmission about a sort of situation brewing here.]
“What the Hell? Get me a line to that ship right away.”
“Yes Sir.”
“This is Branch President Nir’Vahl. It’s about time you showed yourselves. We’ve been holding the fort for quite a while. You might want to pay attention to those mercenaries above the station. They apparently think the ITH is funding the Empire instead of ourselves. They must think the ITH Police crews for free.”
The Garbage Men
18-02-2007, 11:51
This Mercenary Fleet was annoying, it was macking people tense, sometimes tense situations can be good as it focuses people on "getting your affairs in order" and this usually included getting rid of alot of stuff that you had accumulated. No one knew why but this was not one of them. The Garbage Men trade had halved and was going really slow, not to mention the overall performance of the station which TGM would get their cut of.
The waiting and negotiating were taking time, and things where either going to result in The Constantine paying off the Mercs protection money or a battle. Strangely the people who where monitoring the situation that were from The Garbage Men actually prefered the battle. for many reasons..
1st, it would set a bad precident
2nd, Wouldn't truly be neutral if they had to worry about people doing this about a participant.
3rd, It was money that TGM wanted to keep
4th, It was bad PR from their point of view
5th, A battle with clearly defined badies (the mercenaries) with TGM coming to the defense would be a veritable treasure trove of great Public relations.
In the end the safety of the Constantine Port is the most important thing though, have a one time loss of a few Hundred billion though have guaranteed Billions every year? Either way TGM had ships a few more ships other than those that were stationed their on their way should a battle ensue but their orders where to stay well away until it was clear that diplomacy had failed.

Johnson Bob was sneaking around and whatnot. He wanted to finally end the statlemate and force the ship to a battle. Of course he couldn't do anything from here, so he had to use a ship. But since he couldn't go back to the CNS Endorsian (that's right I renamed it Endorsian) he had to make due with the next best thing, something a Cassiopeian could fly due to experience.
Sephrions.
He peaked around a wall seeing the soldiers outside of the hanger, and probably even more inside. He couldn't risk a direct assualt, oh no. He looked at his belt. Darn, no grenades.
Johnson sighed. "I'm going to have to do this the hard way then...." He drew his pistol when all of a sudden.
"Hey, there you are!" The Private that was guarding Adar said. He finally found him. "You're in big trouble sir, the Admiral's pissed off and he wants you back on the ship. What the hell are you doing?" He whispered.
"Well." Johnson replied. "I'm trying to get a ship and start the battle already, it's stupid. We could take them out easy and they're being wussies. Anyway, you're under my command now."
"What?!" The Private said in surprise. "Oh no no no no, this is your harebrained scheme not mine. Unless you noticed sir, there are Sephrions guarding the place. And they have big guns."
"Fah." The Corporal said. "Well, that's why I need your help. Unless you want me to start shooting for no reason and have us both killed."
The Private's eyes widened. "... you wouldn't."
The Corporal drew up his pistol and almost turned the corner when the Private pulled him back in. "Fine fine!" He said. "I'll help you, what do you need?"
The Corporal smirked and pushed the Private out of the corner. "Start runnin'"
There he was, the Private, in full view of Sephrion forces. The Private gulped. "AAAAH!!!" He scram as he ran across the hull, hoping all Sephrion forces don't chase him to his death.
The Corporal smirked. "Let's see what happens now..."

Adar was already sick of the waiting, but he made it less visible. "I have to go back to the ship, there is a crisis." He stated. "But please keep in contact with me via this hologram thinger"
He put a square on the floor and all of a sudden it was him, and it did everything he did. "So if you excuse me." The two voices said. "I need to go." He left the conference room, his hologram twin walking in place in the same direction.

Johnson saw the Dreadnaught was going to slam itself on the wall, seeing this it jumped out of the back and watched the giant robot stunned and dizzy. He saw this as his chance.
He ran to the switch and activated it, the hangers doors opening for him. There it was he thought, the Sephrion hanger. Of course they knew that he was there so as soon as they heard all the ruckus outside, but no matter. Of course it was a foolish move on his part, one lone soldier with a pistol and 12 armed with weapons heavier then a house, but nevermind that. He took out his pistol and shot the switch from the inside of the hanger, locking himself in and not letting anybody get out.
He sighed as he rolled behind some random box. "Okay... here I go." He took his pistol and started running to the nearest fighter, shooting at the guards and trying to get to the ship as fast as possible.
The Private was less foolish, he just kept running, hoping to either get to the ship or running to another nation's sector, any sector. But for now, he ran, he ran like hell.

The Corporal ducked and covered and rolled behind another random metal case. Well, this certainly isn't working out well. He could do two things... surrender? No Sephrions don't take prisoners, they're too bloody stubborn. Fight? Well that seemed like the only option really. He sighed, still, maybe they wouldn't kill him.
He took out a white handkerchief from his pocket and looked at it. Well, he knew when he was beat and he didn't have any grenades to help him out. He'd probably be killed in a front assualt and he didn't feel like dragging this out from behind a box.
He had a pistol, see.
It was thus that he decided to surrender, maybe they'd show mercy. He threw his handkerchief in the air. "I surrender!" He shouted. "I surrender peacefully!"
The Private wasn't having as much luck however, but a break came. He continued running until he saw a foreign nation's Embassy, he didn't care what Embassy it was but it was foreign and they could protect him. It just so happened that it was the Chronosian Embassy.
They had a nasty tendency of being well... nasty.

Hinata was pissed and whacked Naruto upside the head. "Baka! Don't go cheating on me now! Now go to the bathroom and clean up that blood!"
"Oww! Hinata-chan!" Naruto whined, rubbing his bump. He then saw Hinata pull a huge hammer out of her personal pocket dimension and scurried away like a rat. Hinata ran after the nude lady, intending to smash her for attempting to seduce her man.

Johnson saw Naruto, he had no idea who he was but he knew he was somebody. Maybe he could save him from being a Sephrin prisoner and just suffer Cassiopeian penalties, hell it was worth a shot. And even better he decided to be honest.
He coughed. "Errrm... well see strange coloured hair man, I tried stealing a ship and it failed horribly. Now they want to take me prisoner and all I want is to suffer Cassiopeian punishments, I am a Cassiopeian so it is the least I deserve." He paused. "Also it seems that there are snipers point at me, and there is a very angry man with a large pistol who seems to be pointing it at my head so errm... help?"
Meanwhile the Private saw the five Jadite soldiers. "Oh thank you!" He shouted. "Please protect me! There's a giant robot chasing me and I didn't do anything, it's that Corporal's fault!"

Anthony used the computer to display a copy of the Contract provided by the Mercs and closely examined the wording to see if there was a loophole that would allow everyone to come out ahead.
OOC:
TSL, can you please provide the exact wording of the contract?
OOC: No, that would require several people to actually get together and agree on a contract. That is unlikely to happen for several reasons, the main one being that we can't be assed to actually agree on terms. You may assume that there is one minor, questionably exploitable loophole, that rests on several contingencies which would have to be met.

Private Ciaphas Shetland, Ships Musketeer and presently off duty, sighed and removed his shako. The things might look nice, but they were hot as hell.
Glancing around the little resturaunt he noted the variety of uniforms present, virtually every colour, style and size was represented, although it was fairly easy to pick out the musketeers, even amoung the variety. Musketeer battle dress was fancier than the full dress of most other militaries, and the shako's on the table were a pretty good giveaway to.
Shetland picked up something cheap and greasy from the counter and picked an empty table, some distance from the main crowd but still within earshot of the other musketeers.
He prodded at the thing he had picked up, it appeared to be attempting to leave his plate and was making odd bubbling noises.

Anthony read through all the documented data so far collected. There was a bunch of legalese that was not relevant in the Nation of Ri-an and thus easily ignored according to the Treaty where Ri-an laws held precedence over others here upon their native territory. That only led to the ridiculous demands by the Terrorist. According to the station logs, their first message was:
In the name of the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances, we hereby call upon the Balroggans to remove themselves from this station, and all who would trade with them to cease. The funds generate here are being used to fund their war effort against the Galactic Federation. As Condottieri, we are here to ensure that such action ceases, and that all Balroggan activities in and around this station are halted.
Removing themselves from the station would be easy, all they had to do was step outside the station and the letter of their initial demand was followed. The ITH gate was inconsequential since it was not owned by the Empire so their possessive label on it was incorrect. The Empire has never received a single credit from the ITH in its entire history. The Emperor himself guaranteed their exempt status centuries ago. Anthony didn’t know why such an apparently modern organization would fail to know basic history of their intended targets, but mercs were not known to think things through carefully, it is a common stereotype.
Anthony then used the fast forward feature to bypass a lot of clutter to their other demands and quickly found them:
Demand 1: The Balroggan ITH Gate will be closed. Demand 2: The Balroggans will be removed from the station. That is all. If these demands cannot be met peacefully, we have recieved authorization to enforce them by use of our armament and embarked marines. And collaborators that attempt to aid the Balroggans in remaining will be treated as such, and removed.
The first was already taken care of by reading history texts or doing a simple computer inquiry. Perhaps they didn’t understand printed languages. The presence of the other co-owners would also enforce the idea the ITH was not an Imperial project but a privately owned one shared with another foreign Power.
Now to demand two.
According to their demands all we have to do is step outside the airlock and we are off the station. Both demands specified “removed from the station” as their common wording. Anthony was sure it would piss them off but doing that would justify their asinine demands and this silliness will be over.
Simple solution, but none the less exact to what they have stated.
Anthony viewed more of the log and came across the entry where they admitted the GFFA was benind the whole thing by providing the contract.
The contract is HERE, signed by agents of the Galactic Federation. We did, of course, insure that they were who they purported to be. I ill include a copy for your perusal.
As the transmission goes out, a download begins to all vessels and to he station itself, a perfect electronic copy of the contract, signed and dated by several prominent members of the Galactic Federation.
Anthony forwarded a copy of the log to his personal ship where it would be sent out using both the Space Minus Transmitters and the ESUS Battlenet for recording in case they were stupid enough to open fire on the station. It was soon after that Anthony reviewed a transmission that completely removed any sort of Threat the cloud of ships possessed.
Apparently all they can do is stay up there pretending to be menacing but they were not allowed to fire anything at the station. If the defending forces positioned themselves between the station and the mercs, they could use displacement fields to guarantee there were no sure shots to be taken against them. That means there would be a large number of merc misses and the shots would travel past the defenders onto the station, making their contract void so they would not be able to collect in any way.
If any shots did strike the station, regardless of the extent of damage, any nations present could take it as an attempt against their embassies, thus an act of war.
Anthony sent a mental command to one of his staff, who began to round up all embassy staff and recall the security forces. They were pulled back to the Diplomatic Ship that was docked to the station and instructed to wait there. While Anthony and the others waited for the Mercs to actually do something menacing, the rest of his staff were boarding his ship. When he received word that they were all aboard, he excused himself and disappeared as he used his exoteleport ability, reappearing aboard his ship. He used the comm. System to contact the Mercs.
Attention Mercenary Fleet. In accordance to your demands, I have "removed" all security and embassy personal from the station. That condition is considered to be met. The ITH Gate has not been the possession of the Empire for several centuries. Ask any computer system programmed with a rudimentary Galactic History course and you will find that is true. All your conditions have been met so you can kindly bugger off before we decide get unpleasant.
Anthony ordered everyone to return to the station before they could get any clear shots on the ship. He returned to the situation room the same way he left. And accessed the Comm system again.
Your contract is fulfilled by your own terms. You can leave. Don’t let anything hit you in the ass on the way out.
OOC:
Since you cannot provide any actual wording we are forced to resort to using your previous posts as examples. If you can get together to arrange this charade, you should have thought to get actual wording down so you could provide them when asked. Instead all I got was the runaround when I asked for them.
That means all three Merc Fleets can go home and collect their payment now.
Third fleet? How would I know ICly there was a third fleet? You forgot that the third mercenary company would have been named on that contract you posted every ships recieving. That would be enough reason to know there was a third party involved too in the attack. Perhaps enough to run further scans...

"I want you so attempt to shut down life support gravity or another other systems, preferably tactical use all the AI and computers from the fleet."
the tactical officer nodded again his fingers taping on the holographic console, the light of the bridge gleaming down upon them, the combined power of massive ships and small ships alike the sheer processing and power of the ships focused on the flag ship of the mercenary fleet the best hacking and ECM equipment that money could by and time could make was put to use.
Rob glanced at his suit case, it was near him it was metal and it gleamed gently in the light of the station, he drummed his hands up and down glancing at it gently, he sighed his brown eyes focusing around him his mind wandering off on things that had nothing to do with his current situation. one hundred million quadrillions per second went off from the AI's focusing on shutting down systems and gathering information. he taped his hand smiling a bit he started to interface with a computer he was carrying on him, the computer then started to assist the hacking by trying to interfacing with low level station computers and allowing the fleets cascade to go around. the cascade constantly fluctuated around and around, the processing power of the fleets computers increasing as they focused more and more, massive layers of fire walls being erected in data channels.
The captain chuckled a bit and looked over to his tactical officer "once we get what we need or if they find out about this and attempt to stop us send in multi adaptive viruses" the officer nodded.

"I want to know where these people are from, engage polymorphic hacking of there ships cascade it from multiple computer I want star charts orders and information, hack exploits or low level subroutines first, if you need to cascade it off the station computers, just make sure its not traced back" The tactical officer and computer officer nodded they activated algorithm omega, the extremely potent and powerful AI calculating as enormous speeds, the Capitan sighed sitting back he looked over to the tactical officer again.
The president directly linked with his computer mind machine interface, he physically began to put safeguards in positions.
The information never made it past the first processor. "Invalid File Type. Threat assessment, non-existent. Theorized purpose unknown. Assume hostile due to lack of identifying transmission and handshake."
In the time it took a single subroutine to reach that conclusion, several things had occurred, all of them unpleasant in the extreme. First, the carriers had begun deploying their gunships, and would soon have quantity to offset any quality of enemy smallcraft. Second, every single gun in the fleet had made a milimetric adjustment, changing their angle of fire enough to have the TFU ships, and their apparently suicidal president, square in their sights. Third, a message had been sent, on a hard line to the Coredians and the Abh, with a great deal of vehemence about this apparent betrayal. 4th, less than 7 thousandths of a second after having determined that someone had just attempted something Very Stupid(TM), some 100+ thousand tons of solid kinetic energy weapons were streaking through space at a quite healthy .6c, with enough power at impact to blow most anything out of the water...void...whatever. 5th, Missiles, several thousand of them, scattered out from launch tubes in every direction, targeting all the ships in the area that weren't allied mercenaries.
Your hostile actions have necessitated a change in the rules of engagement. From this point forward all targets at this space are fair game, as a result of an attempt, foolishly, to hack our systems. Your complicity in this farce will not be tolerated. The disablement of all targets, their surrender, or utter destruction are now your only options to cease this conflict. Your desire to surrender will be indicated by abandoning your ships in lifeboats or unarmed small craft. The hostile transmission came from these spatial coordinates, you may decide whom to blame for the increased hostilities based upon that information.
A short string of coordinates is included, indicating the location the transmission originated from, which was, of course, the former location of President Robert, who in a small fraction of a second, was about to become a rather impressive smear of gaseous plasma.

OOC: President Robert Bastidas is on the Space Station. You just enraged half a dozen nations and then some! :D
IC:
Naruto was enraged when the call came in, not to mention the shields of the station flaring from the onslaught. His eyes were beginning to turn red. "So now they want our deaths."
Before Hinata could answer, he commed the Solari mercenaries.
"Know this, bakas! By attacking us now, by attacking this station, you have committed an act of war against the Imperial Republic of Coreworlds, the Shinobi Nation of Konohagekure, and the Dragon Kingdom of Coredia! Not to mention the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances! I order your immediate surrender and abandonment of all your vessals posthaste!"
Of course, nothing of the sort was going to happen, so Naruto sent word to the task force hidden just outside the 1/2 lightyear mark to begin the attack and sent secure word to HQ to dispatch the Fifth Fleet posthaste. The reply from HQ came on secure channels:
"Order acknowledged. Not only that, the Battlestar Coredia's battlegroup is on its way to pick you up. The Emperor has a separate mission for you that required its presence."
Naruto smirked. The Coredia's going to give these idiots a headache they'll never forget. I wonder what's the mission.
Two massive Star Destroyers and their escorts jumped into the system and immediately began firing all weapons upon the Solari mercenaries. Blue and green bolts of death rained up the enemy in unrelenting savagery. Missiles of all kinds were thrown at the enemy, from conventional thermonuclear, proton, concussion and antimatter types to Singularity and Shattermissiles (don't forget, they pass through shields, turning 'em to glass and bore into the hull and blow shit up). Tachyon torpedoes (bought from Godular) were employed as well, hopefully to make the mercenary shields useless.
Although they were only nine ships, there was far more to come...

Suddenly encompassing the president a huge flash of bright white light morphed over them, making him shimmer out of existence of the station, and on to the bridge of the UCS Hood.
the same happened for other delegates, an emergency beam out was ordered, and all the important delegates and people in the general area where targeted for beam out in the same manner the president was
the Capitan gritted his teeth and said "Sick bay Prepare for incoming wounded!"
The president fell to the ground injured, hos body badly bruised his suit tattered he panted bleeding slightly out of his mouth he clutched his chest. suddenly a bright white light surrounded him he appeared again on the ship but this time a med bay, by this time he was out of it, his case was still with him remarkably, but was at the side of his bed, he lay there splayed and injured as tones of medical personnel began to work on him medical machines of remarkable advancement started preening over him pouring energy around his body, telapaths stood by telepathically helping the process by focusing there power on his brain and heavily inured parts of his body, regrowing damaged nerves and and tissues as the machines worked diligently to do the same.
The captain sighed shaking his head "damn it!" he slammed his hand on a panel in front of him he grumbled gently , looking around he growled and looked to his tactical officer and said "Kill them all... he then looked to his helm officer and nodded saying in a rather loud commanding voice "take us to 1,050,000 km and set up a defensive perimeter around the station all ships maintain a firing solution on those mercenary vessels.
The officer nodded suddenly the mass of ominously huge ships began to move back more and more away going in to a loser formation, one part of the fleet started maneuvering port the other starboard the other on top and the other on the bottom, the captain sat in his chair observing his maneuvers he smiled the president was carrying his suit case looking out as well the Federal fleet was loosely surrounding the Emmey's flanks while maintaining a long range.
The captain sighed a bit, the president was barely alive but was being worked on, he was getting better quickly as it where thanks to many medical advancements over the years, in fact ironically the third president of the Union had been killed in almost a similar attack nearly two centuries ago. the captain looked over to him and then to the tactical officer he girted his teeth he chuckled and said in a commanding loud voice. "tell Western galactic tactical command to get there Quick reaction task force here on the double." The president him self smiled his suit case grasped in his hand.
Mean While admiral Alexi stood on the bridge of the UCS Omega, he sighed as his tall older body shimmered in the same light as the Hood , his uniform glimmered gently as he put his hands on the console in front of him, he sighed his eyes peering out in to the dark lifeless void of space, he looked over to his tactical and helms officer and said "Engage quick reaction drive, get us there yesterday!" he said in a loud Russian type voice his blue eyes peering around his bridge. the large forty ship fleet rumbled in to the darkness, there engines pushing them along in white blue glowing streams of energy, suddenly blue and white shimmered over there seething masses of hull making them disappear and shimmer out of the known universe, it would not take long for the fleet to reach its destination it would get there nearly instantly, there ominous Grey masses floating in the pitch black void , the engines emitting the only light seemingly in that infinite darkness, suddenly they shimmered out this time with a black glow over there bodies, Alexi sighed looking down at his panel his fleet shimmered in to existence bursting in to space with a crackling energetic noise, the ships busted out of the void there ominous demonic like dark Grey and black body's floating gently over the other fleet, the black ships moved ominously and gently like angles of death towards the mercenary fleet, the new fleet was behind the enemies.
Alexi grinned gently, a smile going over his dark scared face as he grasped his leather like seat, he looked over to the tactical officer and said "tell crimson squadron to pan there Fusion cannons on those idiots, also target gravity lances and gluon cannons on the main ship." half the fleet was painted black there bodies shimmering like demonic shadows out to get blood in the darkness of the void, there hulls painted with sleek black plating and crimson death symbols, there weapons the most advanced in the union and most powerful, there ships the most deadly, and rightfully so, the ships look like they where the spawn of Satan him self carrying army's of lost souls, devil solders, and fallen angles. Alexi smiled sitting back in his chair as his fleet waited, there shields activated already, there weapons panned on to to enemy's fleet.
they could not stop the first volley but no matter the fleet would get its revenge.
suddenly with out a due the entire fleet opened up, thousands upon thousands of white beams spread out from federal ships there massive power output shaking the space before them, volleys of yellow and white pulses followed behind , cannons fired again and again reverberating with crackling demonic energy sounds going off in every direction. following the initial yet constant blast of fire from the original fleet, the crimson and fast reaction force opened up, the FRF used the same weapons as the normal fleet, white and yellow white fire busted out every witch way from them, following these volleys of energy weapons Hundreds of Cfractional projectile cannons fired again and again in unison , shooting out FTL boosted shells that jumped to faster than light, missiles with massive teraton level warheads followed behind.
all these weapons moved forth in great streams of death, the crimson fleet waited the mercenary's had seen nothing yet.
Alexi smiled chuckling slightly, he nodded to his tactical officer and said "destroy these fools" suddenly the black crimson marked ships opened up, thousands of Blue fusion beams fired out, pulses of blue fusion energy rocketed forth like comments at light speed, the pulses spamming the entire area of space , following the pulses where bright green beams of heavy gravimetric energy caused by reversed singularity guns , hundreds of them priced out in the to dark shimmering void of space, missiles and HD spike drivers followed behind spike drivers traveled at .10 c but had the mass of small dwarf stars due to half of the projectile being in another dimension.
as fire rocketed out of every single ship in the area, fighters launched off with heavy torpedoes the raced towards enemy ships, the fighter pilots grinned, they saw there fleet unleashing unholy amounts of fire power in constant streams, combined fleet power was well in to the exaton range, as they fired at every single mercenary ship in the area, the dark area of space crackled and reverberated with massive energy blast, in a constant stream. turrets fired again and again there barrels reverberating as they fired pulses of massive power. the seen was indescribable, the ships firing had the fire power to slag an entire system , there combined strength focused on mercenary vessels, lances of fire powered out crackling in the darkness, demonic shriekings of missiles weapons and mass drivers filled the ships as they fired there large cannons, the crimson fleet had not even reached its full potential and it was already putting out enough fire power per ship to slag a planet in several minuets. the fleets fire filled the dark vastness it was covering, it fired from all sides, bottom, top, behind, front, left and right. criss crossing, fighters and bombers where about to enter the picture as well. Alexi Smiled and said "engage ECM tell our fleet do to the same" suddenly over 20 layers of ECM and ECCM per ship focused on the mercenary fleet the entire 65 ship fleet poured out ECM and jamming every witch way. it was on, there would be no survivors.

The three patrol vessels were already on alert since the appearance of the pirates. Their alert status was just continued during all the posturing while they made a semblance of continuing their assigned patrols. That did not mean they were doing nothing. Every passive sensor was examining every cubic centimeter of the Neutral Zone while paying careful attention to the Merc Fleet. They could easily tell by the electromagnetic communication that they were AI controlled and linked ships. The lack of proper energy signatures showed they were uncrewed and did not possess an artificial gravity plane. They were probably completely automated and unmanned.
When the Federal ships intervened and began transmitting signals to the ships, the crew knew it was all over. The appearance of C’Fracs accelerating away from the Mercenary ships spelled doom for those in their paths. The captain of the Battleship did not have any idea what defenses the station had but they better be good.
Then the missiles were launched.
“Evasive actions! Launch all tubes !”
The shout was broadcast across all three ships as they reacted to the appearance of thousands of incoming projectiles. The ships spun and tried to dodge those missiles that seemed to home in onto them like angry bees. As they neared, they broke into clusters of about a hundred warheads, each individually tracking their targets. The ships Flac and Point defense began to work heavily on negating the cloud of oblivion that was threatening to envelop them.
The Torps were safely away and began to circle around to close in on their targets. The typical Singularity was generated in front of the missile as they closed in on their targets. The 5 meter effect easily hid the 3 meter body of the torpedo behind itself and drew in incoming flack and laser fire. Attacking a Grav Torp from the front is futile, that is why they try to come straight at the target. Hopefully some would at least get through before they discovered they would be easy to counter from the sides or rear.
The Marksman Frigate was the first to get cornered by the incoming warheads. The smaller number of point defenses allowed the warheads to slip through, pealing off layers of Reactive Armor. The holes became larger until finally enough of the ship was compromised that it ended up a ball of plasma.
The 180 meter Shank soon followed afterwards, It too tried to dodge the missiles and warheads but it was too big of a target and ended up a matching ball of plasma, although much larger.
The Quicksilver lived up to its name. It was smaller than The Shank but it had more point defense than The Marksman. It was also designed to give chase to fleeing enemy ships, thus a lot faster. The ship twisted and turned while using not only her point defense against the missile barrage, but also firing her main weapons at the missiles before they were able to release their inner swarms. This resulted in there being a longer time that The Quicksilver survived.
She wove in and out of missiles, keeping their distance while acquiring targets against the incoming ships. The automatics never bothered to reload the tubes, instead concentrating on tracking every incoming bogey and working to eradicate them before they struck the ship. Balls of plasma blossomed briefly in the blackness of space as point defense met aggressor.
“I can’t shake them!”
“Do your best.”
“I’m trying.”
“I know. Comms, send for reinforcements. Tell them all Hell’s broke loose.”
“Yes Sir, sending message.”
“Some are getting th-“
The ship was rocked as a few warheads struck one of the spines, completely removing the structure from the destroyer. The explosion rocked the ship and while it struggles to reorient itself, several more got through and began to pick off the superstructure of the destroyer. The ship attempted to respond but an ever increasing number of explosives were zeroing in onto the disabled vessel. Within a couple more seconds, The Quicksilver was a ball of plasma just like her two sister ships.

As soon as the station's shields began to take a pounding, the skipper of the Ares class freighter Uniden VIII began issuing orders to his half drunk crew. Though the large ship was full of ore, she'd stopped at the station for repair and provisioning after getting caught in a larger than usual meteor storm.
"Cut the umbilical cables and dump the gangways! Blow the bolts on the mooring lines!" shouted the ship's commander. The hoses, cables, and cords that had been linking the ship to her berth were quickly jettisoned from the ship. Almost immediately, the ship's nine engines roared to life.
As the ship started moving forward, the dock's doors began to open as quickly as they could. Unfortunately, it wasn't fast enough and the ship's four engine nacelles clipped the doors, bending them out of shape and ensuring that they'd never open or close again until they were replaced.
Once clear of the station, the ship's shields flared to life, forming a protective bubble around the ship.
"Damage report?"
"Superficial. I don't expect that the doors fared as well though."
"Good. Divert all available power to engines and shields. Our guns will be of little use here."
"Captain, the local space is filled with weapons fire."
"Set course for Red Hammer. Evasive maneuvers."
The ship moved as quickly and nimbly as possible for something as big and heavy as an ore laden freighter. It would try to escape the battle and FTL to the New Havenic Red Hammer system.

CNS Endorsian
All was not fine inside this trustworthy ship. Discipline was brought back by the Admiral, but Jameson was having other worries. He was having a meeting on how to get his soldiers back. Some suggested he should go on with a trial, respect their cultures and go through the motions, they would win.
Then there were the Hawks of the group.
They didn't care for other cultures really, they were part of the old school Cassiopeian mindset. Who cares as long as we get what we want? All interstellar relations does is bring war. They did have a point this time.
I mean really. The CNS Endorsian arrives at the station thinking everything was honky dory and there was love and rainbows and unicorns and random things of love and desu... and what? Random fleets coming out of nowhere! Nowhere! Showing up and saying, I pwn j00 and asking for cash and the owners of the station to leave. All because of some war, and now apparently there was evidence coming out that the Solari Government was involved.
It just wasn't a good day for Admiral Adar Jameson.
"It just isn't my day today..." See? "I have two soldiers inside the station, I have no idea what the hell is going on, I have a headache and I'm mad! Angry! Admiral smash!"
It would get worse. "Admiral..." The communications officer had a worried tone to his voice. "... the enemy fleet is firing. Apparently a foreign fleet entered the area, tried hacking into their computer mainframe, and now... well, it hit the fan basically."
The Admiral started to twitch. "... what?" He paused. "Screw the trial then! Get inside the station and get 'em out! Send the Marines! I just wanna leave!!!"
"Errm..." The officer said. "They're gone... wait, I have a reading. I think they were teleported or something... they're inside the capital ship of the fleet that just came here, apparently they come from some country called the Federal Union, hell if I know... sir?"
"Wrrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyy!?"
The officer coughed. "I'll send a message..."
The CNS Endorsian slowly backed away from the battle, it was still in the area to observe it but it certainly couldn't leave its men alone in the chaos. So, a message was sent.
TO: Unknown Federal Fleet
FROM: CNS Endorsian
It seems you've... taken two of our soldiers. Can you send them our way
so we can leave? Now?
It certainly wasn't something that he would tell his grandkids.

"Captain, somethings going on at the edge of the system..."
"What? Another trade ship arriving? Dont bother me with stuff like this."
"Looks like...weapons discharge-"
CRACK!
"Sheogoraths balls! EMERGENCY PLANESHIFT!"
The TSF Parthelon promptly vanished, managing to evade the heaviest of the barrage, emerging from whatever dimensional sidetrip it had made above the main line of bombardment, thin plumes of steam jetting into space from a tear in its armour. A cloud of randomized magical energy was visible to those with a trained eye as well, the leftovers of the Octigen gas which had probobly saved the ship from far more sever damage.
"Whats our status? Casualties?" The captain righted himself and adjusted his hat. Emergency planeshifts were not easy on the special effects, especially in the 'rocking bridge' department.
"Turrets four and five arent responding, three-four and six-seven report minor casualties. Were venting steam from somewhere. Six confirmed dead in the portside corridor." The tech looked up from his station, "It could have been worse, sir. No breaches are reported in the main hull. Were still working on figuring out what hit us though."
"Who cares what hit us?! Were still in fighting condition, give me flank speed! Towards those bastards who shot at us!"
"Shouldnt we figure out what the sit-"
"I know some people just laid a broadsides into our ship, its a matter of honour now!" The captain slammed a fist into the polished wooden counter that encircled the command deck, "Flank speed, NOW! Fourtyfive degree rotation to port, dont show them our underside."
"Sir! Flank speed, forty degree turn to port."
"Have the mages concentrate on the forward shielding, bring us around to their right flank."
The Parthelon moved to obey, moving at suprising speed for an object which had the aerodynamic properties of a brick, not that it mattered a whole lot in space, but it still looked odd.
The ship quickly moved to roll over, however, presenting its heavily armoured (and armed) topside to the enemy as it sped off.

the Capitan smiled a bit, his lips curling up in a grin, he grasped the chair armrest, and sighed he looked over to the helm officer who played the message and said "open a channel to all allied fleets"
a blip was heard and a comn frequency was opened.
the captain began to speak.
"As you all know we have initiated an emergency beam out procedure, to save lives, we have many people on board, we cannot risk staying here due to this, we shall send you the coordinates to meet us at, after witch we will depart to said place and you can come pick your leaders, citizens and diplomats up"
the captain nodded and the frequency was cut, suddenly the lone heavy cruiser shimmered out of the vast darkness of space that was filled with massive fire coming from fleets in the area, it crackled and and disappeared, the coordinates were sent right after it had vanished from the space. now it was up to the military might of allied forces to teach these criminals a lesson, every one was hopefully safe.

CNS Endorsian
The communications officer, finally, some good news. "Admiral!" He in a joyful voice. "They're fine. They were taken to one of their planets where they're safe, we got some coordinates. I assume you wanna go there now?"
Adar sighed. "Yes... let's leave this bloody hellhole. I'm going to send the coordinates and the transcript of what happened to the Government, they'll be amused to say the least..."
The CNS Endorsian powered up. Finally they were leaving this cursed place. This would be a story of failed diplomacy, how a ship entered expecting peace and prosperity and got a war unfolding before its very eyes. The Cassiopeians would come back, with a large fleet no less. But for now they would have nothing to do with it. They wanted the Embassy, but not that bad.
The CNS Endorsian warped/hyperspaced/FTLed/went really really fast towards the planet of Torm... and to maybe some peace and quiet.
