{OOC: What you are about to see happen here, is a rp type that not many people go into, and that would be the detail of their school system. If you would like to explain your school system, please feel free to. Also, if you want to congratulate Erint, the first Minister of Education at how well he's doing, feel free to. If you want to declare war, you will be ignored. Also, expect this to contain a lot of 'story' so expect to wait awhile. I'll show one school student from the original schooling plan, and than the fully worked out plan of Mr. Erint.}

*Ding Ding Ding Ding*

Jasmine looked up at the clocked like she always did at 8:55. School started for her at 9:00, and she was still tired from the late night party she threw at her house. She invited all her friends to a good time, and a good time they had. With the legal drinking age at fourteen, everybody got drunk. It was a Sunday night, and they ended up going to sleep at around two in the morning. They all new they were going to spend the night, and each packed their own things to get ready in the morning. It was a common teenage party in Havaco city.

"Uhggg. Another week of boring school. I guess I better get going to my first hour class."

She went to her locker, and got out her history book. It had a brown paper bag on it, and was colored with a multitude of colors. She also took her planner out, a small booklet which showed the school logo on the front. She closed her locker, and turned the knob twice around to the left.

Jasmine walked towards class, and looked again at the clock. It said 9:58. She was barely going to make it on time. She entered Mr. Vitera's class just as the bell started to ring again.

*Ding Ding Ding Ding*

Mr. Vitera starts to speak. "Hello class. Today is Monday, and you know what Mondays mean right?" Jasmine knew that was a rhetorical question, and thought the answer, "Yes, it means another week has begun and we have to have current... Oh Sh!t! I forgot mine again!" While thinking, Jasmine tuned out the teacher, and when she looked up, another girl, Cassy, started to give a summary of the event she picked.

"As everybody knows, Terry Erint has become the first Minister of Education for the nation of Havvy. He campaigned for this position through a radical new idea that would let students have basic education, and allow free education for those who go though it at an early age. He plans on taking off two years of elementary, but adding them to junior highs. He is also renaming college to make it 'Exceptional' schools. Each place has four years, and you get more choice in your studies the higher level you go.

He has passed the 'School Restructuring Act of H.74' which makes schooling year round, but with a week long break every month. This will not affect any student currently in the school, and the curriculums will still be the same. It will take a total of sixteen years before all students in this system will be grandfathered out, and until them, I'm glad I only have eight."

Cassy gives the summary that she wrote to Mr. Vitera. Than Mr. Vitera starts saying, Who's next? How about you Jasmine?...

OOC: Comments? Do you think the summary is nice? Would you expect the full peace of legislation to be better? Would you like to comment on my rping skills? Do I need to be more descriptive? This has to be the longest rp I've ever written for this site, so I don't expect to get this as a normal one.

Open Communiqué

To Terry Elint, Minister for Education, Havvy:

To begin, I would like to congratulate your nation for taking the steps necessary towards making Havvy competitive in the global economy. After all, the primary resource in making any nation competitive, especially a nation recently ravaged by a devastating hurricane, is education. To assist Havvy in further reforming the education system, I will be providing a brief summary on Eurasian education systems. Education is highly valued in the United Kingdom, with almost one third of the government budget being utilised to finance the advanced system; education, along with health, is one of the few sectors that the government refuses to allow privatization for, due to a concern about the poor being left behind. At age four, all Eurasian residents must begin their course work at a primary school (grades Pre-6) where the foundation will be laid for rigorous course work during secondary and tertiary education. At secondary school (7-8), students are taught highly advanced subjects including classes that match many other nations' high school course work. Tertiary school (9-12) is the final stage of a student's preliminary education, where they will be tracked into certain academic fields of their choosing to prepare them for university, which is also free. Eurasian universities are renowned world-wide for the quality of their education, especially the Royal University at Kensington and the Sandhurst Eurasian Military Academy. Graduate school, though encouraged by tax credits, is not mandatory. I sincerely hope that Eurasia can help Havvy with its educational system.

Best of luck,
Amy Wilson

Mr. Erint wakes up out of bed. It was his second day on the job, and he expected there to be a lot of news about him. He put on his clothes, and walked into the bathroom where he brushed his teeth.

When he got downstairs, he prepared some coffee, and read the newspaper. He look in every section of the newspaper, but could not find him in it. Instead, he found stories about hurricanes and how the damage was close to being fixed.

Then, he flipped to the last page. It was a section that focused on individual topics. Today's topic was 'Mr. Terry Erint'. It had a small biography of him, and his plan to change education. The newspaper also had remarks from other people of which some were bad, but most were good.

He took a sip of his coffee being proud that the newspaper gave him a well-deserved spot in it. He also knew it wasn't the last time either.

He got into his car, and drove down to a building that was being opened today. It was an office building, but it wasn't just an ordinary one. When he got their, he noticed two school buses and a plethora of newscasters. He walked through the middle of everybody, and went up to a podium.

"Hello everybody. Thank you for choosing me as the first Minister of Education for this country. As you know, I have a great reform plan for education, because currently, it's not working.

The first step is to open up this building behind me. It is the Havian Arts and Education Official Headquarters. Before we have the ribbon cut though, let us listen to the famous quire from Sizofrenia"

*A bunch of clapping*

The quire plays, and right at the end, Terry Erint cuts the tape. The newscasters got their shot, and now have a story for the public. The Sizofrenian Quire (OOC: Sizofrenia is a town) get applause also, and than stay in Havaco for awhile.

Mr Erint says one final sentence. "To mark this day, I declare that their shall be no school tomorrow, and that it will resume again on Tuesday.

*More Applause*

{OOC: It is Sunday when this event happens. This story writing has helped me out a lot. When I try to go for detail, I end up writing for a long time, but I now have enough patience to write some longer stories at another site. It will focus on my country's main character, Jerry Sophrone, and will not be very political.}
