INTRODUCTION:

When the Soviet Army found itself in the need for a Scout Rifle, the decision was taken to make a joint project with the Cravanian "Sapinian Arms" Corporation, the resulting product (the Sapinian-Soviet Multi-Purpose Rifle) didn't pass the military tests, but was praised as a very good rifle by the test users (on the other side, it completely passed police tests and was quickly adopted as one of the main marksman weapons). Thus, it was released into the civilian market as a hunting/recreational shooting rifle, fields where it excels due to its accuracy, range and stopping power.

INNER WORKINGS:

This rifle uses a bolt action system to load the round into the barrel.
The action itself is derived from the Mauser system, allowing the rifle to fire "higher pressure" rounds such as magnum cartridges. Its bolt is unique in that, like the Remington 788, it has nine lugs in three rows in its rear-lugged bolt, and locks at a 60 degree angle when in the open position. This, of course, allows for a more liberal selection of scope mountings and other accessories. The rear-lugged bolt design also gives the rifle a stiffer receiver, thus possibly improving accuracy somewhat.
The system was suggested by Sapinian Arms officials, whose hunting rifle, the SA230, uses a similar system.

PERFORMANCE:

Since it was designed following Jeff Cooper's "Scout" design, this gun is short and light, being only 1,01 meters long and having a 0,5 meter barrel.
This allows a much better handling of the rifle, which is easy to carry (and conceal, should the need arise).
It has a range of about 220 meters, and extremely good accuracy.

OOC: "Roll-on, Roll-off;" a description of a vehicle transport ship for trucks, tanks, &c that the vehicles can just drive onto a parking deck inside for loading and then drive off of when at the destination. Like an LST, these ships have at least a cargo door at the front, and often one at the rear too IIRC so the vehicles can drive straight through.

Pearce Weapons Inc (Under the Direction of the Government of The Dominion of Vetaka)

After continued research by the Vetakan-Military Resarch Complex which was a cabel made up of Pearce Weapons Inc, The Vetakan Defence Force and The University of Helgan. As already stated the aim of the AU1 was to provide an Invasion Force with the capacity to rapidly build up its Armour and Artillery Force very quickly as a result both the rear end of the ship and the front of the ship where fitted with opening doors that opened out revealing the lower decks of the ship and thus the cargo space for the Vehicles from their Sloping Ramps would deploy allowing the Vehicles to simply drive out the ship and straight into the Action. Of Course this also meant that the Vehicles could simply drive onto the ship at its load port. However during the design of the ship Pearce Weapons Inc discovered a problem during the phase when ramps where deployed the ramps sloping graidents meant that longer ramps where needed as a result it became impossible to store them within the ship so Pearce Weapons went back to the drawing board. Eventually after trying different means they developed the Sink and Deploy System. A method that although rather dangerous was the safest of a bad bunch of proposed solutions. 2 Large Ballast Tanks where fitted to the bottom of the ship. If the ship needed to lower itself so the ramps could deploy themselves the tanks would fill with water dragging the ship down by 10 meters. This was a very risky option and one that should only be used if the situation trully deserved it. After all the Ships Ramps could de-camp the Vehicles into most Ports the Sink and Deploy Aspect was only installed for the "Bastard" of Landing operations.

Because the top deck of the ship was open to use Pearce Weapons Inc designed it so it could be used to store more Vehicles or be used as a normal Rotary Wing Chopper Carrier of course its Helicopter Carriying Capacity would be limited it meant a small Contingent of troops could be carried. Pearce Weapons Inc also increased the AU1's Defensive Capacities

Just like The Peoples Class the AU1 also features a special secure cargo feature called the Pearce Weapons Inc (PWI) security Vualt. It is located at the front of the ship decided and has a capacity of 10,000 Tonnes. It only has one enternace and is similar to that of a Bank Vault. It has been designed to provide a secure hold for sensitive items such as Nuclear Weapons and High Value Items such as Gold and Diamonds etc etc. The vault can also be set up so that the crew has no access to it while at sea. This provides a saftey net for nations that dont trust their crews. The Vault also has an oxygen system and could be theorectically rigged to hold people. The Vault has also beed designed to seperate from the Ship should it be sunk and deploy inflatable rafts and float to the service from their a GPS distress device will emit so the nation can pick it up on Pickup the vault has been fitted with pre-set hooks as a result a Chinnok Chopper or an equivalant could make a pick up and a successful Air Lift back to a Fleet or Base.

Looks good so far.:D At first I thought the capacity was a bit small, but then I noticed that the vault and the 100 vehicles could easily account for the spare tonnage once displacement was figured in.
