"The scene in Iragia, which has just received widespread international condemnation for its recent massacre of democracy protestors is now preparing for possible assault against it as the free nations of the world gather together in prepartion for possible military intervention against the communist regime. The People's Republic, which maintains four main security elements, the Liberation Forces being the mainline military, the Civil Defence Corps being the internal security forces, the Army of the People's Republic being the conscript force for primarily defence, and the home guard militia.
Tens of thousands of conscripts are apparently being called up from the home guard, all of whom have previous experience in the Army of the People's Republic, which is pushing to muster a strength of approximately two hundred thousand soldiers to set up defensive positions. Iragian Defence Systems is allegedly working overtime in all its factories to produce more weapons, and we have received footage from freelance journalists in the country and resistance groups of coastal missile batteries, cannos, and extensive air-defence networks being established.
We have received reports of trenches being dug around the capital, and tank bunkers being set up as well as the Home Guard being called to service, and attached to civil defence corps units as they prepare and train for a partisan war against occupying forces, as well as guerilla actions to delay an advance through the country. We will bring you more news as the story develops.
