!EMERGENCY TENDER! People's Republic require AA systems, coastal defenecs

Iragia
10-02-2007, 18:43
The People's Republic is being threatend with foreign invasion, we are willing to pay whatever price for AA guns, SAM systems, and coastal missile batteries. Our factories are churning out systems as fast as possible, but we cannot run the risk of our nation being underdefended. We have money, and vast mineral resources we will ship to you now and once the conflict is over. Training time is limited, and this should be kept in mind when making an offer. We request these systems be brought in via airlift to the Baker's Landing Internation Airport, and the Mill Towne airbase, preferably within 24 hours.

The Questarian Government will pay twice what Iragia is willing to pay if you send the equipment to us, not them.

The Franberrian goverment was just going to offer Iragia around 15,000 old 40mm Bofors guns for 1 billion USD a piece. However, in light of the Questerian offer, we would be glad to accept double the payment.

Transport Safety Department

Clean sky to you, shippers of the world.

Transport Safety and Weather departments warn you about high risks of air transport in the region of Iragia. As the region may become a scene for military action, we suggest to be careful when considering shipping, as, if the conflict breaks out, the losses may far exceed the profits. You know the airlifted cargo normally costs much less than the vehicles, and the profit depends greatly on safety of the aircraft.

Also, as our company has declared embargo for Iragia, we unfortunately must inform you, that, unlike usually, our midair refueling and transport services will not be available for cargo transit to Iragia. All passengers are recommended to avoid the country. However, if you send in planes to help evacuation of citizens, our CVBGs entering the area, as well as flights from airbases, will ensure their safety.
If you select to still risk the flight, we highly encourage you to take as many citizens aboard as possible. Our carriers and bases will stand ready to accept them. We'll pay full ticket price for every passenger from Iragia who makes it safely to our bases or airports.

With best regards,
Aerospace Logistics Transport Safety Department personnel.

[ OOC: Iragia first needs to accept the deal and needs to have the money in the first place, of course. ]

As it stands presently Iragian airspace is Iragian airspace and is being defended by our air forces, no foreign aircraft are in or near the vicinity of our nation and it will take some time before they are able to begin their unwarranted acts of aggression against us. Therefore, there is still time to deliver systems to us and we will pay handsomely for any equipment we can get.

Ridiculously Encrypted Top Secret IC

The Griffincrest Corporation is willing to sell you 100 Gnat Fighter planes, as well as 200 Umkhonto missile batteries. Each battery is four truck mounted cells. The Umkhonto was designed for all-round defence against simultaneous air attacks from multiple targets, which will be very much like what you are about to experience. It is also the first vertically launched infrared-homing surface-to-air missile, also the first IR-homing missile to use lock-on-after-launch. Very good pick up if I do say so myself. Other things to look at for your defense would be the Charon class frigate (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=12123521&postcount=1)and the Neptune class cruiser (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=12129565&postcount=1), as well as the TALON (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=12026631&postcount=1)to defend your aircraft.

For your men on the ground, we are able to supply you with the full Corporate Alliance armaments. The M32 LMG and G36E assault rifles are available for sale, as well as standard CA issued body armor and camoflage. We also offer the Mercury APC (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=11215099&postcount=31) and Mars LBT (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=11963610&postcount=1)for your military.

These will be of great help, we do not have that much money on hand right now, but we are borrowing and gathering as much money as possible, we will be able to provide approximately 3 billion. We do however have gold reserves that we will load until your aircraft.

To: Blackhelm
We do not have time nor money to properly equip our forces with the goods you have offered unfortunately, however, we have come across a supplier to meet our present needs, but thank you for the offer. As for leafanistan, we have already done business with that particular nation and our present military manufacturing capacity is entirely purchased from their universal exports, we agree that it is indeed quite a fantastic export market.

Money..bah, who needs it. In return for some of your nations oil fields, we will sell you equipment, as well as send over advisors to train and if nessecary fight alongside your men. The oil fields would be determined by how much equipment you require.

We do not possess extensive oil fields, though there are rich oil sands in the south, and some stretching out to the eastern prairies. We have extensive mineral resources that we will gladly share as well. Military advisors would be most welcome. We believe we can stretch out the ground fighting through mass numbers, ambushes, and our large arsenal of recoiless rifles and artilllery systems, but our ATGMs and tanks are outdated. We also lack anything in the way of a navy, and are trying to lay mines at our ports and fortify our beaches. Also, we are setting up coastal missile batteries to fire at ships entering our waters with long range anti-ship missiles. Assistance in any of these areas is welcome.

To: Phoenix
Thank you again for the equipment, we are forever in your debt. Extended payment plan is acceptable, we have mustered $3.5 billion USD to pay you as is, in both money and gold, to be loaded onto your cargo airplanes after they have unloaded the AA systems.

...Deep in the night, too far in the sky for Eyeball Mk.1 and other Iragia's best detection systems to see, several wings of B-2 bombers with F-22 escorts were flying over Iragia, together with F-35 and ALF-22N sent from the CVBG.

Precision concrete-buster bombs and missiles fell at airbases. They targeted no human, but only the few landing strips Iragia had. Afterwards, they bombed across the rare pieces of road where an aircraft could land.

After severely cutting the cargo handling capabilities, the bombers left as they came, and some fighters stayed to observe.

Boring in low over the horizon, the first flight of Phoenix Dynamix C-13 Jack Rabbits scanned for the drop zone.

"There it is bearing 020!" shouted a co-pilot who was wearing night vision goggles.

The flight turned and climbed a few hundred feet before dropping from its super sonic cruise speed. Each C-13 lowered its ramp at the same time and in sequence began dropping their packages. The sky was filled with the SAM systems and mobile AAA guns. It was necessary since the one of the C-15 Nova pilots who lead the first delivery hours ago reported air combat activity heating up in the area.

"Switch to high command! Peter Stanford, division 17110 reporting. Cargo planes, right below us, airdrop equipment! We're on their tail, awaiting orders." - Peter activated the main center comm channel.

Kirill Leonov was in the Aerospace Logistics command center, holding the conference.
- "Stan! Any data on the property?"
- "No. I'll call Lightning Communications."
- "First let Peter's team look."
Kirill came to the radio stand.

"Air Division 17110, report the markings. Set one plane to EMCON 4. Send direct feed for identification. No engagement until command."
"We're already shading them them, sir. I set 17110-26 to link." - the loudspeakers filled the room with Peter's voice.

The large wall screen displayed markings of Phoenix Dynamix.
"Just supersonics, not real heavy airlifters. They don't carry much. The country is neutral." - one of the specialists commented.
Kirill turned to Stan. - "Urgent shipment to them, I presume. What does the international law say on property in this case?"
Stan coughed. - "Well, technically, once they dropped it, it isn't their any longer, and may be engaged. But I'd rather wait a little. At least before shooting."

Kirill turned the radio volume down a bit.
- "Peter, listen to me. Do not touch the planes, they are neutral. Don't shoot at the equipment. Tell everyone to make a supersonic dash close to the parachutes, but don't touch them."
- "Copy that. But two first packages already landed. They are just old guns. What's with them?"
- "We may attack them as soon as Iragia takes them over and attempts any hostilities. But better try not to. Once they landed, they are Iragian property. Just make sure the air is too disturbed for parachutes to stay intact."
- "Copy that. Easily. I'll report any future information directly."
- "Yes. Stay online. Over."

OOC: No no we didnt fly right below u and we are already landed safe at home. NT

and the C-13's have a cargo capacity:
100 troops/paratroops -or-
48 litters + 54 patients and attendants -or-
170,000 pounds (85 tons) (76,644 kg) of cargo or vehicles and each C-13 dropped either 2 M-20 Gladiator 4x40mm mobile AA systems or a few SA-22 missile systems!!!!!!

And The Phoenix Milita was not involved in this transaction, only Phoenix Dynamix.

[ OOC: Of course, you didn't know you flew right below ALC fighters. It were stealthy fighters which followed less stealthy supersonic transports, and, of course, it's the former who see the latter, not the other way around.
And, yes, you got home safely (though maybe not yet - time passes not that fast in events like this - but you'll get). ALC planes didn't touch you and aren't going to. They only made supersonic dashes around the parachutes.

"We have heard some disturbing reports, an unknown force may attempting to interfere with our airdrops, probably the same ones trying to deny airfield operations. All remaining flights are to equip their loads with the Hermes IX system" the senior loadmaster said over an encrypted comm channel.

The next flight of C-13's arrived at the next drop zone and began dropping their air-bag enhanced cargo pallets.

*Mill Towne airbase*

The airstrip was in flames, the MiG fighters were useless now, and the charred remains of Liberation Forces personnel littered the ground.

Brigadier General Davies, the airbase commander, lowered his head for a moment of mourning before he started shouting out orders.

"Grab the cannons and rocket launchers, move all the kit we can use from the fighters onto the trucks, we're moving into the city to take up defensive positions!" He shouted at his subordinates as the remaining personnel loaded up all the weapons, ammo, and other useful equipment and abandoned the airbase.

*Fields outside of Baker's Landings*

Phoenix Dynamic aircraft had been running supply drops for hours now, almost as soon as the threat of invasion came up the MoD had procured thousands of air defence systems and the airlifters had apparently took off almost as soon as the order came through.

Most had come through the airbases, but now they had just been hit, and PD cargolifters were dropping the rest of the equipment by parachute to the besieged nation.

A group of Liberations Forces personnel were moving out to grab the airdropped equipment and bring back to the city to reinforce the defences.

"Sir! They started to use airbags!" - the radio shouted.

The operator transferred a picture. - "What shall we do now?"
Kirill came to the comm station again. "Stanford! All planes to EMCON 2. Find missile armament and radars. Increase intensity. We don't need to destroy it, just damage so they can't use it. Triple-A droppings are tertiary, radars and missiles first. Keep careful, avoid detection."
- "Copy that. Out".

"Carrier groups, launch the available stealth aircraft now. Mission time 0310-0740." - Kirill ordered.

Peter rushed to the new airdrop. A large, segmented airbag was protecting the SAM vehicle. He slowed down, put his plane above, and turned afterburners for a few seconds, leaving a cloud of flames behind.

Others followed him. It was less effective and some deliveries managed to get through.
In half an hour, most of the cargo planes left, leaving some equipment on the ground, most of it damaged or broken, but some intact.

The communications lit up again.
- "We've got a problem here. Their forces are moving in to take the deliveries. What are the orders?"

"We shouldn't attack them right yet" - mentioned Stan. - "The SL forces will do the dirty job. Maybe just deter them?"
"No. We'll move in openly in the daytime." - Kirill responded.

Matthew finally was here, observing the situation. "Maybe we can use EMP?" - he joined the discussion.
- "Won't help. The radars are shielded, EMP can burn them only when they are working. Victor! Report on passive counter-electronics munitions arsenal."
- "Reporting. We have two hundred graphite and foil guided bombs in the air, one hundred foil, two hundred Matzoh Ball. Supply on carriers is tens of thousands."
- "Order new sorties to replace counter-runway and AP munitions with PCE. Take MB when available."
- "Yes."

Kirill came to the radio.
- "Stanford! Direct F-35 to engage equipment on the ground. Use minimal force available and spend ordnance in one run. Return to base at EMCON 1 immediately after engagement. Mission secrecy priority is above damage efficiency. Fighters with PCE munitions exempt. All F-22 and ALF-22N, stay in the air, do not engage. Over."
- "Copy that. Some equipment is already taken."
- "Do not destroy. Once equipment is manned, engage with PCE. Use Matzoh Ball on TELAR, simple PCE on triple-A. Follow up on radars with simple PCE. Fresh fighters are on the way. Return to base once replacement arrives."
- "Copy that."

In the center, Matt was somewhat surprised. - "Will it destroy the SAM?" - he asked.
"No. But all the radars will be ineffective for some time. It will likely take two days to clean them." - Kirill explained - "Most likely their troops will just break the electronics in the process."

"FUCK!" the general screamed as he kicked the SAM vehicle. Someone had come by and burnt it, it was twisted and charred, its eletronics systems useless.

Some of the other air dropped equipment was still useful however, and the troops wasted no time in grabbing whatever was useful and driving it back to Mill Towne.

The RSDJ is willing offer the nation of Iragia 278 JMWWS-AA Capricorn wheeled, medium-range mobile SAM batteries and 96 JCV-3AA Mad Max tracked tandem SAM/flak batteries which are not entirely dissimilar in concept and execution from the M6 Linebacker. Further, we are willing to offer sizable numbers of the latest Juumanistran surface-to-air missiles – the 5,200 AAGM.7 Barbeque short range missiles and 1,800 SAGM.61 Sideswipe medium range missiles – and the 32 of the P242 radar sets they are designed to operate with. Further still, we are willing to provide you with some 4,000 Schneider MANPADS systems and a further 4,800 AAGM.7s for the Schneiders.

The aid package offered is valued at roughly $1.75 billion USD and is offered free of charge, as a register of the RSDJ’s displeasure with the current state of affairs vis-a-vis the rest of the world and Iragia. Delivery of the systems, however, is up to Iragia or the contractors it wishes to hire.

"Listen up!" The Phoenix Dynamix liaison, a former KOP himself shouted to the commanders of the 2nd Mercenary Legion.
"Rules of Engagement are simple, only fire if fired upon. It is going to be a mess over there so a clean insertion and extraction is going to be tricky, but not impossible. We will be posing as members of one of the invading or counter-invading forces and this will be a very fluid situation. IFF will be specially tuned, for example: If Vault 10 forces interrogate you, IFF transponders will respond with a Harakian signal, if Aequatio interrogates you respond with a Galaway signal and so on and so forth."

The liaison continued with details as the force neared Iragia, it would only be a matter of time before the force would conduct a landing and distribute the remaining missiles and AA guns. It would seem silly to some to hire an entire legion for 10 billion dollars to deliver around 5 billion worth of equipment, but Phoenix Dynamix absolutely guarantees delivery.
