Jorrus walked upon the bridge of the recently captured and refitted Aphotic Super Star Destroyer R.S.S. Redemption. It was christened from it's previous name, H.S.S. Aphotic, the Empire's former flag ship. Captured by the Alliance, and the Godulans in the first coordinated assault at the Bunitash System. It has recently been refitted with all of the alliance's top technologies and weaponry, making it the deadliest ship the Alliance has in possession. He was impressed with how "new" the ship looked from it's former beaten up look it had when he lead the assault against the Empire. From the inside, you couldn't tell it was an Empire ship unless you previously served on it. Admiral Craimorn sat in the Captain's Chair on the bridge, typing in some last minute logs and starship reports.

"Fine ship isn't it Admiral?"

The Admiral looked up from his datapad and swerved his chair around to face Jorrus. Craimorn was in his Power Suit Armor, though he should be wearing Alliance Naval Regulation Uniforms, "Yes it is. Quite the accomplishment of alliance technological capabilities. We've managed to reverse-engineer many of the systems too."

Jorrus nodded his head, "Of course, I prefer my ship over this large target."

"The Andromeda? Pffft. Tiny ship, but eh."

"It'll out maneuver this ship 100 times over. Besides, you're in charge of this mission."

"As it is I who planned this one out Jorrus. Going to stay with us long enough to see us off?"

Jorrus shook his head, "sorry, I got classes in 30 minutes. I'll expect a full report once you're done. And may the force be with you."

Craimorn saluted Jorrus, "will do Supreme Councilor. And the force be with you too."

"Energize," Jorrus disappeared from the bridge with a loud whirring noise and a bright blue stream of light. Craimorn sighed and swerved his chair towards the front of the bridge to face the view screen.

"Helm, take us out of birth. Ahead 1/4 impulse power. Then, I want to jump to the Necrominus and rondevu with the rest of the fleet at the Gritisha System. Send out a broadcast message to the Abh, Dornalians, and Godulan's that we're beginning our assault."

"Aye sir."

And the second part of the Civil War began...

"Nareece. We've just received a message from the Alliance about the next assault in their little civil war."

Nafie twin brother, Nareece, sat in the admiral's chair on the Sankaku as he looked over the holographic map that was showing the Admiral the formation of his fleet that had been arranged for this mission. "Well Nafie, are they worthy of us?"

"Perhaps you should stop worrying so much about your memoirs and more about the mission at hand. We are teaming up with not only the Alliance but the Dornalians and the Godulans to assault the Gritisha System."

Nareece's intrigue peaked as he opened his eyes. His head lifted from his fist slightly as he looked out over the bridge as if seeing some far off scene. "The Godulans eh? How interesting. I believe I can shape this to my need for a new installment. Something along the lines of 'Two great powers once at war, now put their differences aside for the common goal of aiding an ally. Blood and destruction tore at each other's minds but the impulse was supressed for the time being until it could be played out to exhaustion."

Nafie watched as his brother went about his narration, helpless to work any sense into the Admiral. "Ahem. Don't you think you should give some orders or would you prefer to dream about the battle while it goes on without us?"

Sighing, the Admiral stood up and leaned out over the railing. "Alright. I suppose you're right. Have all ships make ready to jump to hyperspace and set course for the Gritisha System."

A vortex leading into the depths of hyperspace opened while ships from the Abh Empire scattered and dove in.

The Acolyte forces in country, the Abraham Lincoln Brigadiers, had long since recovered from their fights with the Liberatarians. Resupplied with new devotees, requipped with new armor and equipment, and with Admiral Ma having recovered, it was time to set forth at the task of liberation once more.

Ma recieved the message from the Alliance. He had a nasty war wound from the last bout, but it wouldn't prevent him from coherently understanding the fact that it was time for the new offensive against the Imperialists. This time, it focused on Gritisha.

Handing the note back to his adjutant, the old master limped to the helm of the bridge. He then ordered, "All ships. Prepare for Warp Drive. We go to battle once more in the name of True Liberty and freedom from Imperialist domination!"

The fists shook in the air, and a mighty "URRRAAHH!!" emanated from the bridge. It was time to fight once more, and the movement of the vessels showed it.

So we go again, to fight the Imperials. Recognized that the planning stages of this assault have been terminated, and that the operation is soon to be fully set into motion. We have sought to challenge the Imperials for their oppression and murder, for the millions of lives incinerated all for their purported peace and security.

Their laws have slain countless millions of innocents. Their rules and their regulations have terminated the existence of men, women, and children of untold races. The Chaos gods themselves are held hostage by the Imperials, ignorant of their slavery as their chief avatar continues to take simple trinkets and titles in return for continued fealty to that which is anathema to them.

Let us work one more step towards liberating them from their servitude and their ignorance. Let us bring chaos into their pitiful little organized existences. Let us show them the natural order. Let us show them the balance. Let us show them the universe, so that they might be made to understand the pain they inflict upon the universe by feeling it themselves.

We shall make them understand everything. And the revelation shall destroy them.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Curious indeed was it that the apparent first stage of a Godulan invasion should be five Slaughterking destroyers materializing out of nothingness, half a light-year out from Gritisha. Deep scans immediately showed them the layout of the system (OOC: If Huntaer would be so kind as to provide such) as well as any major power readings indicative of large fleet concentrations. Beyond that, however, for the most part they seemed almost... innocuous.

Mostly harmless.

Mostly.

Lord Dominkive was strolling towards the bridge of the H.S.S. Warhammer which was sitting in it's berth near the 4th planet of the Gritisha System. That was when a rather disturbing alarm was sounded. "Red Alert, Red Alert, all hands report to battle stations. Red Alert..."

The Kirtir Lord broke into a run just a few seconds after the Alarm sounded. Why anyone would begin to invade Gritisha is a mystery to him... Well, not totally. There is the Naval Forge Wold in question here. And if the Alliance was staging another attack... It wouldn't be that big of a deal. Or so he thinks.

"Report"

" M' Lord, we just got confirmation from our Kiritir Ops that the Alliance will emerging from the Necrominus in a few moments."

Dominkive waved a black glove, dismissing the Alliance's arrival, "is there anything new you care to tell me? Or is there a larger threat here?"

" 'Fraid so m' Lord. Deep space scans also show that the Godulan's are nearby nearly half a light year from our current positions. We're detecting long-range scans emitting from their ships. Then we're getting readings of other fleets approaching our system too. Not too sure who they are though, but guaranteed to be Alliance Allies."

Dominkive sighed, it was time to put up a new system to the test, "activate the H.E.W.S. Scramble the Godulan scanners, and anyone else who's coming into this area. We cannot afford them to read what our forces are like out here. Also, make sure the Auto-Targeting Scramblers are activated. If they have any automatic targeting weapons, it should give us the advantage forcing them to go manual."

"Aye sir!"

"Comm, send out standard emergency broadcasting to the Chronosians, Thrashians, and the Coredians. Maybe we can get Nightshade to get us some help here.

"Confirmed."

Dominkive had a strange feeling of doom looming over them, even with the Empire's newer technology in place. But he sure as hell wasn't going to go down without a fight. And hopefully the reinforcements arrive in time...

Grk... hey! What's... wha... OH THOSE LITTLE BASTARDS! They're jamming our sensors! The nerve! Why, one would think they consider us a hostile force.

We ARE a hostile force. Communications intercepts show several dispatches sent to multiple Imperial allies in response to our arrival and subsequent deep scanning. Sensor jamming takes the form of static scrambling, with significant amounts of electromagnetic static preventing our deep scans from penetrating. Gravitonic readings still break through, but we are only going to get the layout of the system from that.

Hey! What about optical readings?

Optical scans show that approximately six months ago there was a fleet holding position over the fourth planet. They were not under general combat conditions then, nor were they in much of a hurry. Of course, we already had this information five months and twenty five days ago, so pardon me if this sounds like something of a rehash.

Nah, I just love how that relativity crap works. 'We can see into the past, man!'... my ass.

--A tad anxious, are we?--

Just chompin' at the bit, General Achaedus Sir. Really wanna get in there and start thumping things over the head.

--That will come in its own time. Are you clear on the plan?--

Jump in when our 'friends' show themselves and call out coordinates when THEIR 'friends' show themselves. Simple enough to keep track of.

--Remember, until stage 2 initiates, the extent of your combat participation is purely self-defensive. Utilize Abh and Dornalian vessels as shields if necessary, but avoid holding anybody's attention. Let our allies and enemies think us cowards if need be. Scream like a schoolgirl on all comms if you think it will reinforce the image. You'll have your chance to wreak havoc, just consider this the little bit of theatrics before the guillotine falls.--

Sir, yes, sir.

"Well Nareece, what do you think?"

The Admiral sighed. "Standard procedures I would assume. As soon as we hit normal space, they'll throw up their jammers and try to scramble any automated systems we have."

Nafie nodded his head along with each assesment. "Yes, yes, I can see all that but practically useless against us."

"True, true. So how much longer until we arrive at the appropriate coordinants?"

Nafie took a glass datapad and scanned over it for a few seconds. "We should almost be there. Any orders?"

"Yes. Have our artillery ships take their anti-matter mines out of stasis so they are ready to launch."

"Will do."

Moments later, a series of bright flashes erupted throughout the Gritisha system hanging back from the targeted planet. A detachment of warships from Star Forces streamed out from hyperspace and into normal space.

Reading multiple reversions in-system. Abh forces have arrived and are preparing attack formations.

There's our cue, folks. lets get the calculations plugged in an make ready to act like a bunch of damnfools.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

Not a minute had passed since the Abh forces' arrival in-system when five Godulan destroyers materialized from nothingness, engaging a noticeably sloppy formation of their own and moved in behind the Abh forces. A small transmission went out to the Abh 'Allies' fleet:

Well, we're here. Baron Skye regrets to inform that we could only send token forces at the present time as the 3rd fleet is... busy.

At the same time however, they began collecting detailed information of the in-system defenses, and the nature of the forces arrayed against them. Far easier to collect now as proximity to the system enabled their shorter-range scanning devices to operate, rather than the deep-scans that could be so easily blocked by sensor scrambling. One would almost say they were acting... paranoid...

The Abraham Lincoln Brigade arrived in soon after the Godulans did. Admiral Ma ordered the ships into a convex crescent, lining up at the side of the Abh. Declaring red alert throughout the fleet, the Acolytes prepared for battle.

He then polled Gracie, "What can you see?"

Gracie replied, "Sensors are hazy. They're jamming us, and hard. Long range is useless. We are picking up short range scans from the Godulan side, and possible comms from the enemy."

Ma then said, "Have the Amethyst and Conventional Scanners begin shortrange scans to figure out what's in there; also, see if you can't round up teams of volunteers to begin probing the Force for what our sensors miss. Also, have all weapons readied, and deploy fighter screens. Do not let us be caught unawares."

Gracie replies, "What of the Abh and Godulans?"

"Let them know we are here."

"And what of the Huntarians?"

Ma replied, "That is what the fighter screens are for, as are the superb weapons of the Christopher Walken. Still, if they try and tricks, let me know."

"Roger."

The orders were given out, and teams of Acolytes soon were assembled for "fishing," as the art of using the Force to probe the stars for the foe was called. Gathering their will and stiffening themselves against potential backlash, they began probing the Force, looking into the space ahead of them to ascertain the who, what, where, and when of the enemy--even at long range. The why was obvious enough. Other systems were active as well....

Nightshade's side

The Star Destroyer Homunuclus exited hyperspace with the Second Tenetian Battle Fleet, wielding a considerable number of Tenetian ships, including several sporting the new Hypercannons, weapons that draw power directly from hyperspace. Aboard that Star Destroyer was a man soon to replace the late Admiral Danzo as the Grand Admiral of the Tenetian Fleet: Admiral James "King" Bradley.

The man wore close-cropped black hair and an eyepatch on his left eye which always produces speculation. A pair of phrik-alloy swords -not lightsabers for some odd reason- adorned his sides. His clothes were the immaculate-white Grand Admiral's dress uniform, which made him appear a friendly grandfather at age sixty. Except when fighting Daniel Masaki and his ilk.

"We're here, sir." A soldier aboard the bridge said.

"Of course. Hail our friends." Bradley said with a smile.

"This is Admiral King Bradley to Imperial Huntaer forces. Lady Nightshade has dispatched me and the Second Tenetian Fleet to assist you in your endeavors. It is our hope that together, we will crush the Empire's foes."

Daniel's side

Konohamaru, Jounin of the Shinobi and former "apprentice" to Naruto, grinned as he stood aboard the Konoha Battleship Sandaime as commander of the task force (with Sixth and Seventh Fleet elements thrown in for good measure) assigned to assist the Alliance forces and their allies. "Say hello to our allies and form up with Tactical Formation number Five."

"Ah, yes sir." A chuunin replied.

As the fleet formed up in an offensive tactical formation, a message was sent to allied forces.

"Hey all. I hope we weren't late to the party!"

Julian System | Thrashian Fleet Headquarters

It was not a surprise to many within the Thrashian Fleet High Command that a distress message from the Huntaerian Empire had arrived. Spies and other intelligence sources had stated a build up in the Huntaerian Alliance's forces for some time. Spies in the Abh Empire had also reported the mobilization and action of an Abh battle fleet. So when the message came, Emperor Treize had the already mobilizing fleets of the Imperial Thrashian Empire begin operations. Admiral Orannis (http://i19.photobucket.com/albums/b184/Upum/Star%20Wars/Kane.jpg), appointed Supreme Commander of the Fleet three years before, was given the responsibility to carry out the campaign.

"Sir," Lieutenant Commander Marcus said, "Are you sure we want to use the entire 1st Fleet for the operation? I had thought that we would only be sending minor aid against the rebels." Lieutenant Commander Marcus had a frown on his face that matched the same facial expression of the dozen or so other officers of the 1st and 2nd Fleets standing around him.

Admiral Orannis shook his head. "Yes I am certain Marcus, have no fear of such a thing. This rebellion in the Huntaerian Empire has gone on long enough. Emperor Treize has made it clear, as have Emperors Palpatine and Remiel, that this upstart rebel force be ground into dust and made extinct. Do you all understand?" The group of officer nodded in unison. Most of them were more than a bit anxious about the campaign, usually because it meant leaving behind Thrashian soil. But for now they would put their hearts into it.

"Now," Orannis said, pulling a small silver mechanism from his pocket, "Let us look at the territory." A large holographic map sprang into life in the middle of the briefing room. It slowly rotated, allowing all those assembled to see every inch of its green-glowing detail. "This gentlemen, is the Gritisha System. Our most current intelligence shows that it is here that the newest attack has been launched by the Huntaerian Alliance and its allies. Sources inform me that the Abh have sent a fleet, as have the New Dornalians. A token force is present also of the Godulars."

Whispers broke out among the officers. One stepped a bit forward and looked at Orannis. "Sir, aren't the Godularians our ally?"

"Its true they have been our ally in the past and up to now we've never faced each other in combat...but for this operation it may be that our hands will be forced into fighting them," Orannis stated sadly. It bothered him as well. He had been a child when the Battle of Thrashia Prime had taken place, and stories about that battle and those that took place in it had been what had caused him to join the Fleet in the first place. The fact that some of those heroic allied nations from his childhood stories might be facing him...was daunting and uncomfortable.

"Regardless," Orannis said, shaking himself out of his thoughts, "We will be going there to support the Huntaerians, our brother state of the Galactic Empire."

"Sir?" interrupted one officer. "You've said that the 1st Fleet will be sent to Huntaer...but why are we here?" Orannis looked at Rear Admiral Yuri of the 2nd Fleet with a studying gaze. The rear admiral had been promoted about the same time as Orannis himself had been, and had also been an adjutant to him when he had first commanded a ship at the rank of captain.

"Yuri, I have special plans for 2nd Fleet," Orannis said grinning. "Something very special."

"If you say so sir."

"Now," Orannis said, closing down the hologram, "You have your marching orders. A further briefing I will send once the fleet is ready to jump. Until then, good day." With a snap all the heels of the officers came together and they all saluted. Orannis returned them and he left the room first, heading towards his quarters. He had much more planning to do alone in his study.

Within 14 hours of receiving the message, a vanguard force of ships was sent to Huntaer. The rest of the fleet would follow soon after.

Admiral Johnson was resting in his office, waiting for a report on recent riots in the capital, when the call for assitance came in.He called a video conference with every Admiral, and General in every major system in the 1010102 Empire. General Kurt Johnson was in command of the Imperial Guards, General Kits was in command of the ground forces on Reach, Admiral Jackson was in command of the Second Fleet, Fleet Admiral Dawson was command of the Third Fleet.

"I need some one to go and help stop the attack on the Gritisha System. With most of the navy in drydock I need to know who has the most ships."

Admiral Dawson, replied, " I have one-hundred-and-fifty ships ready to go right now. The Hellfire can take out any shiup our enemies can bring to bear.((OOC: this is a boast not a fact))"

General Johnson added," I have ten divisions at Reach I can send to the defence of the Gritisha System."

"Good.Very good, General, Admiral I will leave this up to you." Admiral Johnson added.

The First fleet jumped to the Gritisha system.

The Alliance's fleet finally reached the system, only to find that their sensors have been jammed. The Redemption's crew scrambled to try and fix the problem, but found it to be quite useless. Craimorn gripped his command chair tightly as frustration began to build, "report."

"Admiral, the Godulans, Abhs, and Dornalians have already entered the system. Looks like we're slightly late to engage enemy ships. Sensors are jammed, and we're having difficulty with locking onto their ships as well."

The Admiral sighed, "Give me a break. The enemy ships are right in front of you! You should be able to get the computer's to lock on."

The Tactical Officer scratched his head in confusion, "Sir... I might be new to this stuff... But it would appear that the targeting systems have gone haywire when they target the Empire's ships. It's like they got a special jamming device for them too."

The Admiral sighed and walked over to the tactical station and took control of the computers. His eyebrows raised in surprise, "Ensign... I think you're right," he then pushed a communication's button, "all hands, this is the Admiral. We need to go to manual targeting stations. Report to your designated areas immediately." It was war time.

"Jammers. Just as was predicted."

Nafie took a seat in the chair next to Nareece as they both looked over the holographic display map. "Right now, every pilot and gunnry officer is searching the system with their frokaj. Soon they will have every ship mentally placed and ready for quick response."

"Yes. Being an Abh does have its advantages, but brother; this will render our artillery ships useless until we can find a way around their jammers."

Nareece chewed on the edge of his finger for a moment. "No matter. We cannot waste time sitting here hoping a solution will present itself. Move our fleet forward."

Nafie raised an eyebrow at his twin brother. "Is that wise? Charging head long into the waiting enemy could only spell disater for us if we walk into something we know nothing about."

"And on the other hand, every moment we wait to attack more reinforcements can arrive. Ships can prepare for a counter-attack some catastrophy may befall some citizens held on an imperial colony. Move the fleet ahead half battle speed."

"As you wish, brother."

Ships from the Abh Empire surged forward at the Huntaer ships at the other end. Whatever awaited them was surmised to be not important enough to warrant sitting around and planning. They moved at a good speed but did not abandon all caution.

Base...

A man in a gray uniform franticly rushed around the busy corridor's of Gritisha's main military base, holding an essential datapad which needed to be delivered to Fleet Admiral Jharn. With the Alliance and their allies in the system, especially the Godulans, they were going to need all the help they can get. He finally reached a red door, which was unlocked, and walked into it as the door hissed open, "Admiral!" Then a loud rumble could be heard. What the... Seismic Charges?? "Admiral, the Alliance is attacking the base!"

The Admiral rose from his desk, clinging on as the building shook, "I got the hint after that violent shake. Raise planetary shielding to prevent further long range bombings. I'll get to the Dark Side and coordinate this planet's defenses as Dominkive moves on forward. Keep the H.E.W.S. online, as we're going to need it as much as possible. Dismissed."

"Aye Admiral!"
