Possible PT RP idea. Is anyone interested? (OOC)

I had originally intended for this to be an FT nation but I figured PT was just as fun, if not more so. I don't have much(read: any) experience at true PT so I thought I would try a small character based RP as opposed to "my massive army sallies forth to do battle with your massive army".
What I have in mind is this: The general plot revolves around one young man by the name of Vor Caldaen. A former mercenary and hired yahoo, he had married and settled down for roughly five years or so before his wife mysteriously dies. A year or so later, his daughter is abducted and he sets off to find and bring her back. Not to mention doing violence upon those responsible ("doing violence" upon someone just sounds messy, doesn't it? Permanent too). I'm looking to keep this as fantasy, however, I don't want epic archmages running around. Just keep it somewhat sensible(read: reasonable). Other than that it's more or less totally open: any race or occupation, again within reason. The borders of this nation are totally open at this time so you could already be nearby or get sent/arrive afterwards.
If there you have any problems/issues with this, please bring them to my attention so they can be rectified.

Like I said, I don't have much experience at this sort of thing. Um...well, technology is equivalent to Europe during the middle ages with maybe a tad bit of magic and other fantasy aspects thrown in. There is a pantheon but rather than worshiping all or several deities, they usually just choose one. Additionally, I'm applying modern morality and social mores to this society as opposed to that of the real world era. Um, Did that answer your question? If not, could you be more specific, please?

Physical Description/Appearance: Standing tall at just over six feet, he is well muscled, though not overly so. A few scars here and there, predominately on his hands, arms, and torso. Has ragged dark brown hair and tanned skin. He has heterochromia, which is genetic. One eye appears to be a steely gray while the other is a bright emerald green. Additionally, he bears a tattoo of a bloody meat cleaver on one shoulder which signifies he served as one of the defenders at the massacre of Juktar Gulch.
Occupation: Former mercenary, currently bar/innkeeper. Soon to be former at that, too.
Powers/Specialty: Nothing aside from just generally being hard to kill.
Weapons/Gear: Keeps a bastard or hand-and-a-half sword mounted on the wall behind the bar along with a heater shield and short sword, not to mention the obligatory dagger.
History: Tossed out of his home by his father when he was twelve, he decided to live out every young boy's dream and be a brave soldier. It turned out that the army had a strict age requirement, so he turned around and joined the nearest hiring mercenary company. He soon discovered that soldiering wasn't all it was cracked up to be, but without any other skills he had no choice but to continue. Things were so-so until he was about seventeen. His company had been operating out of a fair sized city call Temil for the past few years where Vor had been seeing a seamstress' daughter. His company was hired along with three or four others to defend a narrow point in Juktar Gulch, they were supposed to hold the position against light to medium strength assaults until the regular army arrived two days later. Instead it was less than fifteen hundred men attempting to hold off a horde for nearly a week and a half. The defenders were slaughtered to nearly the last man, the only reason they held was from using the fallen on both sides to build higher and higher barricades. Of those that were hired less than one man in twenty still lived. Vor decided that was it, and gave up soldiering. He married the seamstress' daughter and moved to a small port city where he used his earnings to buy an inn. Soon after, his wife gave birth to a daughter. When he was twenty his wife died from a mysterious ailment that confounded doctors and priests alike. His daughter is now eleven and helping out around the inn.

Weapons/Gear: The threat of her father's wrath.
History: Kinda sorta given above. Additionally, she has made friends with a few strangers recently without her father's knowledge.

History: Recently graduated Venomancer from the lands of Poxica, he has come travelling to lands far western from his own in order to expand his pallette of poisons and to utilise his skills in combat.

Further explanation on Venomancers:
Venomancers are combat based wizards, they have spent entire lives training their immune systems against various poisons and viruses, they train tot he point at which they have an almost symbiotic relationship with the immune system, but such training does bring about certain weaknesses, experimenting out of your league can result in death of course, but other such problems as paralysis, vegitablism or a slower painful death, a major weakness is in the resting period of a Venomancer who muct rest for up to 12 hours a day in order to prepare their immune system and to heal any remaining infections which may have been caught, certain, more career orientated, Venomancers also learn how to administer poisons, where to find and how to collect poisons and in mixing up deadly cocktails.

Physical Description/Appearance: 1.7 m tall, about 65.5 kg with a broad chest and bandy legs. His hair is black, but is shaved headed except for a long top-knot. His eyes are green and his complexion is darker but still favors fair. Favors greens, reds and brown/nut colors in clothing.
Occupation: Huntsman (recently dismissed by new lord when old one died, because of old insult/slight)
Powers/Specialty: Tracking and woodcraft skills, good trainer of dogs,horses and hawks. Has a brace of Irish Wolfhounds and a Blue Roan Courser (gifts from the old lord) - all trained by him.
Weapons/Gear: Kama (caucasian dagger), Yatagan and light hunting crossbow. Also standard huntsman gear and garb for seasons.
History: Began his apprenticeship as a huntsman at 6-years of age. His mother had been brought back from a far land as a servant to the old lord's wife and Versit is a bastard - possibly from the old lord.
He had a normal life in the household for his station and service, but had managed to offend the lord's son and heir several times. Perhaps the stories of Versit's possible father antagonized the situation.
Two years after assuming the head huntsman position, the old lord died and the new one swiftly drove him out and placed his favorite in the position. Versit now makes his way in the world by occasional journeyman employment with his reputation as a huntsman in large households, but his restlessness keeps him from settling for more than a rew seasons with any new lords.
Whatever else you feel is necessary: Also speaks Georgian and some church Latin and Greek. Overall, laid back in manner but very fierce when concentrating on an objective.

So Archmagi exist, but their immense power necessarily means that they go around bothering extraplanars, not normal people. They probably ought to still be a threat if you go around piffing rocks and vandalising their towers, but that goes without saying.

Closer examination reveals that the robe has stiched into it a vest underneath the robe, which contains an unbelievable amount of space and carries Karathis' possessions.

Powers/Specialty: Arcane magics, specialising in Abjuration
Weapons/Gear: Staff of Abjuration, Knife, Spellbook, Light Crossbow, Case of 20 Bolts, assorted scrolls, wands and minor magical items.
History: Karathis has been sent out into the world by his master Shaladar as part of his apprenticeship. His appearance tends to inspire mixed feelings in those who view him, and has spent the last two months finding employ with wealthy nobles who wish to have additional protection against intruders. More recently he has discovered Caldaen's inn, and is now a regular, spending evenings in the bar and renting a room.

Physical Description: Though not the most dashing or charming, he does have some type of rugged appeal to him. His skin tone, though slightly darker than the standard Caucasian humanoid, is light enough that he can be considered white. Dark eyes look out from a sturdy frame, topped by cleanly-cut and dark hair. Does not carry identification marks of any army or mercenary unit.
Occupation: Formerly a minor noble and military commander, though unknown to the patrons at the bar he frequents. Currently a drunk.
Powers/Specialty: Pomp, élan, esprit de corps, dashing entrances, eloquent oratory, military command, adequacy with most weapons, mastery of sword. You know, "fallen-nobleman-who's-now-garbage-and-needs-to-rediscover-his-powers" type skills.
Weapons/Gear: Broken sword, seasonal clothing(cloak, shirt, boots, etc...), dagger, signet ring, rapier, medium armor(not full plate, but not just a mail shirt. Think in-between the two), small amount of gold (he's slowly frittered it away).
History: Born into a minor noble family in the further reaches of the Empire, Burnham's childhood was one that groomed him to take up the family tradition of military command. Sent into the border wars against the orcs, Burnham rose through the ranks- before, very suddenly, leading his unit in a mutiny against the Imperial forces. Though it was covered up through the executions of many of the surviving soldiers, Burnham's life was spared due to his nobility- but he himself was sent into exile. He now exists as a regular at the bar, his past unknown to those around him, slowly drinking away both his money and his memories- whatever they might be.
Whatever else you feel is necessary: His past will provide both beneficial and negative circumstances along the journey- if he can prove to others who he really is.
Versit will probably have been sleeping elsewhere, but would readily wile away the evenings in the inn...drinking the best ale available, eating the occasional trencher of meat or stew and playing Alquerque or 12 Man Morris until late into the night. However, he's always up and going before the dawn.
Did I mention he's somewhat of an insomniac? He gets by on four or less hours of sleep at night and a catnap or two during the day.

Her father soon died, the village was raided and burned to the ground. She's long since been wondering through making means.
