No offense, but an IFV could do the same job, with more guns. Besides, Tankettes have proved unuseful over and over again through the history of tankfare.

0-60 mph in 2.1 seconds? Um, not a chance.
The A-17 is to small to be of any real value on the battlefield. The main gun is far to light to be of any real value vs. any type of modern combat vehicle.
As World Soviet Party stated an IFV could do the same job better and it could do more jobs then the A-17.
I could see improving the design buy giving it a new turret with a 25mm gun. This would give you some anti-armor capabilities with out adding much weight. In a recon. role this new design might work.
I like you simple but effective A-7A but this one needs some retooling.

OOC:
Nothing totally wrong with such a design in theory but it does seem drastically under armed compared to the vaguely similar CVR(t). While i am not sayinging copy them directly (i suspect this design has heavier armour) this design would IMHO benefit from a heavier maing gun, say a 23mm gun (as on the BMP-23) or a 30mm 2A72 gun or similar. If you were goign down the western road in terms of guns i would suggest looking at the 40mm CTA gun ssytem but i do fully respect the more "russian" flavour to your designs so perhaps if a cannon is right out you could add an additional AGS-30 to the load out as it seems flavour of the month with the russians for "urban" fighting ( as seen on the BMP-T).

No offense taken, Tankettes are rather unuseful but I decided to outfit them with Kornets purchased from you to give it tank hunting capabilities so it can "Shoot and Scoot".

As you can see I took your advice and fitted it with better weaponry and gave it Anti-Tank Capabilities.

I decided to add a Kornet and replace the DShk with a AGS-17 to up its fire-power. Thanks for the help.
