Our Ambassador has been called home, and The Sailors', Redblack Guards' and Workers' Councils are to discuss about the possibility of taking action to support the libertarian elements in Philephebia later today.
We call all of the HoBT to investigate the situation in the mentioned country. It was a military coup, and as such it can be reversed by crushing the parts of military that were responsible.
With the combined force of this region, it should be a rather easy task, especially considering the fact the majority of Philephebian population doesn't support the new regime.

The Imperial Government has held an emergency meeting with the Philephebian Ambassador of Masalium who has been in very limited contact with her fellow countrymen. The meeting lasted for several hours, and afterwards His Imperial Majesty Mattheus I gave an announcement to the press, stating the stance that Masalium will adopt towards this coup.
1) Masalium does not and will not acknowledge the rebel government of Philephebia. We have cut all diplomatic and economic relations with the said usurpers. We consider this coup to be illegal, and no Haven nation will recognize the usurpers' right to the Philephebian throne.
2) Every Philephebian citizen seeking refuge in Masalium will be welcomed with open arms. Already temporary shelters for refugees are being built, and Minister of Emergency Paula Rehnquist has informed that there are enough proper quartering, food, clothes, and medical supplies for at least 10,000 refugees at the moment. Our Border Guard is ready to offer aerial transportation from the Philephebian borders should it come to that.
3) Every Masaliumian citizen currently residing in Philephebia is advised to return to Masalium immediately. Transportation from Philephebian borders will be arranged. No Masaliumian will be left behind. Any atrocities committed against any Masaliumian citizen will be considered an act of aggression against the Holy Lutheran Empire itself.
4) We call the Human Rights Court of Haven to take action against the rebel government of Philephebia.
5) We demand that the so-called new government of Philephebia abdicates immediately, that its armed forces lay down its weapons, that the legitimate government of Philephebia is brought back to power, and that no Philephebian civilian, whether man or woman, heterosexual or homosexual, is treated against universal and regional human rights and the Constitution of Philephebia.
6) At the same time, we urge that our neighbors adopt every non-violent way of action available to solve this unbearable situation.

There has not been violent revolts, armed rebellions, or open wars in Haven of Better Tomorrow since her foundation, and we should strive to reach a diplomatic solution to this crisis if that is achievable.

Our intelligence has managed to gather little information about the state of Philephebian military in such a short notice, but what we know for sure is that the country's annual defense budget has been around 933 $ billion - a little less than a half of Kronstadtia's, for comparison. How has the money been spent, concentrating on air force, naval power or land forces is unknown to us, but it is likely that they have a rather large yet not perhaps the quite most modern military. The manpower of their armed forces comes through conscription.
Even though it's known that conscripted people's army can be just as effective force as a professional force, it requires a high level of motivation, and we have, under the circumstances, reason to believe that this is not the case with Philephebian military.
Our Naval Intelligence is doing its best to collect further information, but meanwhile - Mobilization Law 15(% of reservists) is being enforced. We encourage all of our freedom-loving comrades in HoBT to follow our example in preparing their armed forces for the possibility of using force to remove the illegal dictatorship regime that has stolen the power from the people of Philephebia.

The Human Rights Court of Haven strongly condemns the injustice and human rights violations of the so-called new government of Philephebia. We must take action against these rebels, and Nyissan proposes a total trade embargo, effective immediately. Do you agree, Theodoxa and Neu Heidelberg?
But as the HRCH condemns the actions taken by the rebels, it must as strongly condemn a possible military strike against one of our member states. A human rights court cannot and will not permit or authorize an act of war. We should strive for a diplomatic solution.
Only through a regional voting, perhaps, could Haven authorize a military solution to this crisis -- but from the Court this authorization cannot be granted, and neither can the Chairman of Region authorize it. This is Nyissan's standpoint.

* Considering the grave insurgencies in the jungles, all our hart lands are as of today under martial law. The emergency situation has been announced for three regions.
The government also proudly announces the conviction of the following persons for high treason:
* Elizabeth Hizkya, prime minister under the corrupt queendom
* Alexander Fselo, secretary of state under the corrupt queendom
* George Pehliv, underminister for housing under the corrupt queendom
* Hense Hensson, minister of defense under the corrupt queendom
* General Myria Bugimtas, who has opposed the Straight Alliance for three days in the now liberated province of Sumerstan
* Christopher Karsitiqi, the corrupt governor of Macedellas under the queendom
* Douris Philandros, the alleged "husband" of Karsitiqi, who was an accomplice in the felon's corruption and also in the corruption and perversion of the children that they had bought.
All convicts will be executed, with the exception of Philandros, who will serve 20 years in prison.
The government further proudly announces that the children who were thus far left with perverted people from this day will be saved and placed under the guardianship of good, faithful, and straight foster parents in the region of Gepidia.
Citizens of philephebia should not fear the security of the new state. Those parts of the army that support the Straight Alliance are in full control and have taken precautionary measures against any foreign invasions.

The children, two girls of 16 and 14, had been so perverted by their alleged fathers, that the government has decided to try them as adults on charges of high treason. If you have any power to help these soldiers and freedom fighters, do so."
The President gave the press a fiery speech soon afterwards, promising that Philephebia will not confront the monstrous tyranny of Gutmann alone.
"A GENOCIDE is happening in front of our very eyes, yet there are some who still hesitate to take action to protect the lives and homes of these innocent civilians!" he said. "As the foul tyrants of Tri-Colour were torn down in the past, as the daughters and sons of this noble nation had to face their tormentors, so, too, must the oppression of this fiend Gutmann and his thugs end and the liberation of Philephebia to come. Let us be among the first to rally with haste to liberate our brothers and sisters in Philephebia!"
The speech was well received; with an almost unanimous support of the Revolutionary Parliament, the President declared a STATE OF WAR between the Philephebian rebel government and our beloved Revolutionary Republic.
Though it will take time -- several days at least, even weeks perhaps -- to gather the forces of our Grand Liberation Army, thousands of brave volunteers have already taken their arms and prepared themselves to aid the Philephebian in any way possible.
General Pierre Roslan from the Main Headquarters estimates that there may be as much as 14,600 volunteers, and more are to come. These volunteers have all received a basic military training and have their own equipment; what is more, approximately 30% of them have seen actual combat during several peace-keeping missions, most recently in Lebanon.
As these men and women prepare themselves, General Roslan has contacted the Fleet Admiral of the Kronstadtian Baltic Fleet and asked for transportation for his volunteer troops. The Straight Alliance of Philephebia announces that due to malicious foreign slander, some citizens of the new, cleansed state have become insurgent.
The government, headed by interim-president general Gutmann, has announced the following measures, for which we seek the understanding of our population and our neighbours:
* All political parties as of today, are forbidden. Assemblies which seek to contribute to the new Philephebia should do so under supervision of the Straight Alliance.
* All newspapers, broadcasting stations and opinion magazines are as of today responsible not to publish any material concerning the foreign conspiracies to our new nation.
* It is forbidden to all newspapers, broadcasting stations and opinion magazines to publish or broadcast material that is likely to encourage insurgencies in Philephebia
* Considering the grave insurgencies in the jungles, all our hart lands are as of today under martial law. The emergency situation has been announced for three regions.
The government also proudly announces the conviction of the following persons for high treason:
* Elizabeth Hizkya, prime minister under the corrupt queendom
* Alexander Fselo, secretary of state under the corrupt queendom
* George Pehliv, underminister for housing under the corrupt queendom
* Hense Hensson, minister of defense under the corrupt queendom
* General Myria Bugimtas, who has opposed the Straight Alliance for three days in the now liberated province of Sumerstan
* Christopher Karsitiqi, the corrupt governor of Macedellas under the queendom
* Douris Philandros, the alleged "husband" of Karsitiqi, who was an accomplice in the felon's corruption and also in the corruption and perversion of the children that they had bought.
All convicts will be executed, with the exception of Philandros, who will serve 20 years in prison.
The government further proudly announces that the children who were thus far left with perverted people from this day will be saved and placed under the guardianship of good, faithful, and straight foster parents in the region of Gepidia.
Citizens of philephebia should not fear the security of the new state. Those parts of the army that support the Straight Alliance are in full control and have taken precautionary measures against any foreign invasions.
The government also proudly announces that the man who has been calling himself queen and his - o horror - three "husbands",along with two of their three children have been apprehended. The children, two girls of 16 and 14, had been so perverted by their alleged fathers, that the government has decided to try them as adults on charges of high treason. The same goes for their parents.

Today, Countess Ollesba, minister for the Interior of Philephebia, arrived in the main harbor of Brahmsk.
She met with minister Mike Dyke and set up a provisionary government in exile.
This government, consisting of now five refugee ministers and some civil servants that have fled their country, has demanded:
* That the queen and his family be released, in particular the children.
* that democracy be restored in all of Philephebia
* that general elections be held to form a new parliament, and subsequently to form a new, lawful government.
* that the persecution of individuals based on their sexual orientation ceases immediately
* that the abduction of children from their lawful parents ceases immediately.
* that no person who has contributed to the democratic governments of Philephebia be executed or imprisoned
* that Gutmann and his junta release information as to the whereabouts of the arrested ministers and members of the royal house
Countess Ollesba, as acting prime minister in exile, has pleaded with the region Haven of Better Tomorrow to do anything in their power to bring the revolution against the Queen to an end.
To all of these demands, princess Johanna and queen Ohero of Niwex lend their support.

Stop trading with them, ask them nicely to stop being mean if that's what you think to be the most effective solution in preventing them of destroying a free society and turning it into a dictatorship.
And let us actually do something, without crying about it later.
Task force 6A of The Baltic Fleet is currently heading towards Philephebian coast, and several divisions of our land forces are being prepared.

During crisis like this one, there is always a palpable possibility that human rights must bow and withdraw in front of necessity. Whatever we decide to do to help the people of Philephebia, we must ensure that we do not change the rest of the region to worse.
The situation of Philephebia is indeed horrible, but are we truly prepared to go to war and try to overthrow the rebel government? Do we even have enough surveillance data, enough intelligence? Do we know what we are about to face should we take this path? It is obvious that these rebels enjoy at least some favour among the people; without careful planning and execution, a war could be a disastrous one -- another Vietnam, another Iraq, sending Philephebia into endless civil war.
We agree that this genocide must stop now. But we should try every diplomatic means available before considering an armed resolution.
These excerpts from a telegram from the Philephebian Elena Countess Ollesba to the President of the Revolutionary Republic of Tri-Colour were published in today's newpapers around our country:
"Monsieur le Président, the situation in Philephebia is more grave than many realise! My daughter, who is married to another woman, has been imprisoned and her children have been abducted. A similar fate has been visited to thousands of families, particularly in the East, where the support for the Straight Alliance is strong.
Fellow refugees tell me of acts of persecution, extrajudicial executions by the military, and there are even rumours of torture and brainwashing. - Although I cannot confirm those as yet.
Gutmann is a powercrazed madman, and every day he reigns in his selfrighteous way, our country will lose innocense, beauty, and lives.
There is resistance from within. Small resistance groups in the cities, and the jungle, where a strong part of the army has retreated, to keep the heart lands free from oppression.
If you have any power to help these soldiers and freedom fighters, do so."
The President gave the press a fiery speech soon afterwards, promising that Philephebia will not confront the monstrous tyranny of Gutmann alone.
"A GENOCIDE is happening in front of our very eyes, yet there are some who still hesitate to take action to protect the lives and homes of these innocent civilians!" he said. "As the foul tyrants of Tri-Colour were torn down in the past, as the daughters and sons of this noble nation had to face their tormentors, so, too, must the oppression of this fiend Gutmann and his thugs end and the liberation of Philephebia to come. Let us be among the first to rally with haste to liberate our brothers and sisters in Philephebia!"
The speech was well received; with an almost unanimous support of the Revolutionary Parliament, the President declared a STATE OF WAR between the Philephebian rebel government and our beloved Revolutionary Republic.
Though it will take time -- several days at least, even weeks perhaps -- to gather the forces of our Grand Liberation Army, thousands of brave volunteers have already taken their arms and prepared themselves to aid the Philephebian in any way possible.
General Pierre Roslan from the Main Headquarters estimates that there may be as much as 14,600 volunteers, and more are to come. These volunteers have all received a basic military training and have their own equipment; what is more, approximately 30% of them have seen actual combat during several peace-keeping missions, most recently in Lebanon.
As these men and women prepare themselves, General Roslan has contacted the Fleet Admiral of the Kronstadtian Baltic Fleet and asked for transportation for his volunteer troops. It will take time before the Tri-Colourian Navy is ready to partake the operation, and if Kronstadtia is willing, these 14,600 justice-loving soldiers would gladly fight side by side with their valiant comrades from Kronstadtia.
This we promise: Philephebia will be free once again!

State of War now officially exists between the Fascist Bastards of Philephebia and The Syndicalist City State of Kronstadtia.
Four brigades of Naval Infantry and two divisions of the Redblack Guard, circa 40,000 men, are being loaded to the ships of the Task Force 1T(transport), while the TF-2T is heading towards the coast of Tri-Colour. In such a short notice this is all of our tactical maritime transport capacity, so Niwexian volunteers, should there be any, can't be moved in the first wave.
High Altitude Recon planes flying from the aircraft carriers "Trabajador" and "Intifada" of the Task Force 6A are on their first sorties over Philephebian air space, and our satellites are gathering information about the enemy forces and deployments.

Imprisoning or killing homosexuals just because of their bedroom preferences can be, HOPELY, agreed to be against human rights by all of us. It must be stopped. However, in this case we don't have a legal government to persuade or negotiate with. There is just a group of military men who have stolen the power with a partial support of armed forces.
