In six months, Prime Minister Tovey's Social Liberal Party will be forced to request to His Majesty the King to dissolve Parliament and call a General Election for the next day, which will be 26th June 1946 [QDS].

The parties represented here are the three major parties. You may ask questions to certain politicians, or you may post monetary support for certain politicians.

Party: Social Labour Party
Leader: Rt Hon. Dr J D Tovey
Policies: Introduction of new healthcare schemes, full pensions, reduction of military, better education and more taxes
Promises: Increase GDP PC by £2,500 in 4 years, reduce military to more appropriate levels, "peace in our time" with Gholgoth, reduction in crime
Controversy: Would implement income tax for first time in history; also unpopular with the King, wants to further ties with APOC
Appeal: Working class
Voter Support: 34%

Party: Liberal Party
Leader: Rt Hon. Dr W A Foxbury
Policies: Reduction of tax; cancelling of the new healthcare schemes and reverting to the old voucher system, pensions only for civil servants, increase in military spending over welfare and public transport.
Promises: Massive tax cuts, increase in military spending over the 4 year cut by Tovey, increase in the strength and influence of the Empire, a better deal for the middle class, preservation of liberty (reversal of the stricter policies implemented to give police more power)
Controversy: Foxbury has stated he will "challenge APOC" and promote the SL, he is very popular with the King
Appeal: Working class, middle class
Voter Support: 31%

Party: Conservative Party
Leader: Rt Hon. Dr R J Burns
Policies: Reduction of tax; converting to the old laissez faire values, banning gay marriage, implementing traditional ideals and values, more censorship
Promises: To cut crime drastically, to "clean up" society
Controversy: Disliked by some, thought to be authoritarian; too strict socially. Disliked by the King.
Appeal: Middle class, upper class
Voter Support: 22%

His Majesty favours the views of the Rt. Honourable Dr W A Foxbury who's Liberal views reflect those of His Majesty. The decrease in taxes is pleasing as it promotes laisez faire capitalism and with increased military defence spending it will make the Haven and Sovereign League stronger.

As an act of support His Majesty donates $200 Million NSD's to the Liberal Party, we do ask what are the parties views on the Clandonia and the re founding lead by King William VII?

The Senate and People of Doomanum, along with His Holy and Righteous Magesty, Caesar Maximus III, Defender of the Faith, officialy declare their support for the Honorable Dr. R. J. Burns and his Conservative Party. The Conservative Party's ideals indeed have the morality of the Questarian people in mind, thus they shall enjoy continued monetary and political support from the Imperium Doomanum. It is hoped that should Dr. Burns win this election, a new age of righteousness shall arise for Questaria.

The current Republican government voices its open support for the Social Labour party and our common party doctrines. We would like to make a contribution of 30 million USD every month until the elections.

Good evening! I am Jennifer Smythe, and this is the BBC Six O'Clock News.
It has been announced that Questers, a fellow Havenite and member of the international alliance the Sovereign League, will hold elections in six months. President Thomas Stewern has come under criticism from both the left opposition as well as his own Liberal Party, after saying in a press conference that he would look forward to seeing the Right Honourable Doctor Foxbury of the Questerian Liberal Party as the new Prime Minister. The Worker's Party object to what they percieve as ''interfereing with the democratic process of another country''. Stewern answered these criticisms in a recent press conference, saying that he was speaking as leader for a fellow liberal party and not as President of Blackwood.
Critics in the moderate faction of Stewern's own party has criticized him for endorsing the budget policies of Doctor Foxbury and the limiting of pensions to civil servants. President stewern has yet to answer this.

In other news, Pacitalia recently suffered a minor earthquake in the seismically active region of southwestern Meritate. Though no deaths has been reported, a recent study shows that...

SSAFA News Special: Elections in Questers

The Questerian goverment announced earlier today that elections will be holding elections within six months. A close ally of Franberry, the election is being followed closley by those in our goverment. President Geoli Joolitan has announced his support for the Rt. Hon. Dr. W.A. Foxbury, of the Liberal Party. There was thunderous applause at this anouncement, which was made during a short speech at the Hipodrome, where the cabinet and the President were attending a Polo game. Minutes before this broadcast; Georgiano Bluthi, Foreign Minister of the Socialist Sultanate Duchydom of Franberry, High Lord of Diplomancy, Grand White Knight of the Order of Larcano, Holder of the High Diplomatic Scripture, Lord of Exterior Relations, and Supreme Wamma-Ganna of Kooblo; deplored the actions of other goverments in triying to intervine in the Questerian elections by sending massive monetary gifts. He also noted that all that our President has sent is a modest muffin basket. Critics of the goverment have citisized the President for backing a candidate who promises to cut pensions. The President has pledged to answer this after his afternoon nap.
