IC : Yes, of course we are prepared, we've fought countless wars with our neighbours, and we've had our share of winnings, and losings. Our planet, unified under one banner, after our peoples decided it was wrong to quarrle among ourselfs, so we came to an agreement to drive our sciences forward, drive our military forward, and drive us forwards. Good things came from this, but also bad. So we are prepared for what we've been doing. We have gathered info on your planet, its natural resources, its minerals, seas and so on. And the Great Council came to the conclusion that this planet was ripe for the taking, as so many of you are still fighting among yourselfs. You would learn great things from us, only if you drop your arms to us. Otherwise, we'll just destroy you.

You may have advanced your sciences and military might, but the truth is that others have unified more worlds, systems even, and have gathered far more than you could have. The only one who raises arms is you, threatening those who ought to be respected.

We offer you the chance to accept the aid of the Imperium, and their guidance that will save you the ire and scorn of others.

If you're talking about Earth, then you're well and truly screwed. Earth has more power in one nation, probably a 10' by 10' nation, than your entire planet has. Seriously. Get the fuck away, or we'll destroy your space fleet, travel to your planet, kill your men, rape your women, use your women and children in expiraments involving horrible, painful tests. Very VERY horrible and painful tests. Like changing them into muffins and feeding them to starving Ethiopians. Or something like that.
