"Good morning everyone in Kanami and around the world, last night at 1:45 A.M. Local time Noted Anti-Drug Crusader Amanda Williams has died at age 65 from complications due to heart problems, she was surrounded by her family. Mrs. Williams is well known for leading the Anti-Drug crusade in the
60's, and the eventual outlaw of all illegal drug products, for any purpose. Certianly this has drawn much criticism from national and international recreational drug users alike. Her Funeral services are schedualed sometime this week, but the family has requested it be a private service with no press coverage, and we will of course respect their wishes. On the phone is Biographer Yukito Tanazaki who wrote the biography of Amanda Williams, thanks for joining me this morning."

It's a pleasure to be here

"Now two years ago you finisher her biography and it's been a sell out world wide, are you pleased?"

Very pleased, I didn't think it would have this much sucess

"What was your reaction to the news?"

Pretty suprised, I didn't really know she was having health problems and it is a shame that she has to go so early, I feel she did a lot of good things in this country

"Now I don't want to bring up the debate about whether cracking down on drugs is a real worthwhile cause or not, but what do you think about her personal feelings about it?"

You have to remember she felt very strongly about it, after all the reason she was raped was attributed to her violators drug use. and although it was a very public place, virtually everyone was too stoned to help her. and that is why she lead this crusade.

"Wel thank you Mr. Tanazaki, and have a wonderful day."

Frankly, good riddance. While her death is in and of itself tragic, her cause was wrongheaded and most likely contributed more to her unfortunate rape than the drugs themselves. Hopefully, now that this fear mongering proponent of an outdated and ignorant policy is deceased, true progress can be made in this area.

I share in the mourning of the passing of such a noble woman. She had the courage to stand up and rid the world of the plague of controlled substances that bring nothing to harm to everyone.

"The South mourns your country's loss. Mrs. Williams passing is cause enough for a moment of silence across the South. It is a pity not all nations have the dignity to not fly insults at her family and herself for her beliefs -- it betrays their so-called 'progressive stance'."
