OK, so the civil war kinda got kicked up a few months ago during October or so, and with some other incidents which were going on between then and now kinda put the civil war to a halt. Those who were involved previously are welcomed back (unless you've been banned from NS), and for anyone new,

To answer part of your question...

All sign ups are now closed. There are more than adequate RPers now, and I'm ready to start the RP tonight, or tomorrow.

As to the events... I'm doing a bit of calculations right now. I've got a lineup of guys I have in mind.

Unfortunately, the forums are acting gay right now and a moderator had to approve my post or some shit. So the post is there, but none of you saw it. Can I get a yes or no as to whether I may participate or not?

If the puppet is new, or if your puppet account doesn't get much use of the forums, you prolly had less than ten posts to your puppet's account.

Jolt has this system now where newbies have to get posts approved by teh modz. Ten posts, I believe.

Theoretically helps keep out drive-by I n00k teh UN spam, but I found this out the hard way when I brought over an RPer from other forums/games to participate in my RPs a few weeks ago.

If you want your puppet to be able to post, there's a spam forum. Use it to get more than ten posts if that is indeed the problem...once the mods approve it (if it's in the right place, i.e. spam forum, and if you aren't trolling and whatnot, chances are good), you'll be good to go:D

Some of us are limited on time. I'm simply trying to get an understanding of when he will be starting this rp so I can gauge how much of my time I am able to spend writing for it. It has nothing to do with being patient.

It has EVERYTHING to do with patients, and I don't much care for your attitude right now. Keep this up and you'll be booted off like SQ was when he was being a bitch. I don't care if you're a GE member, I won't tolerate "when's the RP starting?" after I told you I'll probably post it tonight. And if I don't post tonight... What does it truly matter? Is your life going to topple down in shambles just because I didn't post when I said I would?

Simply stating that I have limited time at the moment and was curious as to when you would start your rp is not enough to equate me to SQ. And no my life would not break down into shambles, however it is a courtesy to you as a fellow GE member and rp'er to be active in your rp; and as such you have a certain responsibility to that rp by being its creator. Its the same as if you were a moderator of these forums. You've become in a sense a mod of this rp, seeing as you created it.

I'm not trying to be rude or bitchy. I am simply stating a question. In what regard you choose to accept that is none of my business. So please refrain from equating me to that blubbering idiot formerly known as SQ.

Come on, calm down. Everythings cool, tempers don't have to get frayed over so much of a non-issue, children :P Instead of arguing, you could work this out reasonably. Hunt, you have writers block. Thrash, you have a limited time frame, just give Hunt a little space and he'll be able to inform you :)

If, as Chron informs me, you are having trouble with a paper then feel no need to begin this rp until you are quite ready. I myself have a fifty page essay due this friday, which is why I am constrained on time. So I know the feeling to be sure. Next time, may I recommend, you simply state that you're having trouble RL side of things and can't begin something as large as this rp will undoubtably be; then no misunderstandings were arise. That way I will know not to continue asking.
