ITCA is open to all trading nations around the world. ITCAs aim is to provide better trade relations between nations and to help nations who have difficulty trading goods and services. The ITCA Charter states the following:
Article 1: All nations who join ITCA must give other member states a 25% discount on trade tariffs. This ensures nations both save money on trade which can be later invested into their infrastructure and also maintains a high income from imports. This rate is negotiable between nations but must be approved by ITCA.
Article 2: Should one member nation attack another member nation in a way that is seen to be unprovoked, then that nation faces trade from other members to be cut off for the length of the conflict and also risk being expelled from ITCA. However expulsion needs a 3/4 majority vote from the ITCA members
Article 3: Should a member nation keep up trade with an excluded nation while then this nation risks trade sanctions and/or a temporary ban from ITCA until the nation stops trading with the excluded or removes itself from ITCA.
Article 4: Each member state needs to provide one minister to attend all ITCA meetings that are called. These meetins will be held to discuss any new membership application, after the initial application deadline, vote in cases of implied expulsion.
Article 5: The following goods are not entitled to the 25% discount:
All military weapons (guns, missiles, bombs)
Uranium that will be used for military action. Uranium for non military uses is allowed.
This list is subject to change as ITCA grows.
