The Ottomans lay claim to Martinique system, they send a fleet compose of 2 Corvette / Scoutship squadron, 6 Light Transports, 2 Transport (AK)(1 tanker and 1 transport), 2 Destroyer squadron, 2 Light Cruiser and build an outpost, naval base and a number of factories on Martinique III

Lesser Ribena extends diplomatic relations to Ottoman Khaif. It is noted that construction of Ribenan outposts in the nearby Wellfleet, Cheetah and Neela systems has begun. It is hoped that increased relations and maybe even an alliance may be arranged between the nations (as previously mentioned). In return Lesser Ribena will acknowledge sole Ottoman ownership of Martinique, Ottoman Khaif will acknowledge Ribenan juristiction in the Wellfleet, Cheetah and Neela systems and both nations will support each other militarily.

It is noted that Ribena is not merely landgrabbing but intends to fully develop the claimed systems so that they can be productive and efficient colonies of the Kingdom. For many years, the Abbassian Government had come into knowledge of the existance of another Islamic settlement -through the New Shironese Embassy- which is in contact with the New Shironese Government, this naturally was exciting news. Unfortunately the government was unable to act upon this due to various internal matters.

However, more recently it has been shown that the same Islamic Entity has been in contact with Abbassia's neighbor, the United Federation of Parthini. With this news and the development of the New Shironese Mail network, first contact had been made with the Imperium of Ottoman Khaif.

First contact contained a series of greetings and well wishes, basic fact-checking regarding the history of the early expeditions, along with negotiations for a face-to-face meeting between the two nations's Distinguished National Leaders and Distinguished Citizens.

The Meeting are suggested to take place at either the Igorr or Martinique Systems, where an Abbassian ship and transport will travel to Hammet, then to Igorr and refuel then to Martinique.

EDIT: It is hinted that in this meeting various discussions may arise regarding establishing formal treaties between our two nations given recent turbulance and instability within the Diaspora system.
