The Caliph responded quickly: "Yes, I know. Well, that leaves less land for the Caliphate to spread to... Just ignore it for now and see if they relinquish their claim. If they do, then the Caliphate will conquer once more".

The Aequatian Republic does not trade with China and this does not affect us, however, we hope that this will not be an annoyance to our heavy marine traffic throughout the region, as any attack on vessels flying the Aequatian flag is considered an act of war and allows us to respond militarily against any who would be foolish enough to attempt troubling a nation of Gholgoth.

[OOC: Depends on what's classified as an SD. I field a single ship classified as superdreadnought despite being a nation of 1.8 million people with a tiny economy; it's so named because it has guns, and is approximately the size of a small frigate.

The Grand Monarchy applauds the Hatarian Government on managing to find out that they have territory that has not been invaded, bombed, conquered, occupied, been devestated by nuclear weapons, invaded, occupied, or otherwise harmed just by being under Hatarian control.

Hataria estricts nothing, for not only does Hataria not make policy in Eastern Asia, it is a nation of ignorant impotence. Again, markets in China and Eastern Asia will continue to operate unmolested, or the Hatarian government will find itself subject to consequences.

Moving on from that, we're not even going to bother arming our merchant vessels or moving warships into the area to protect them or anything like that. Suffice it to say that we're not going to change anything because of this announcement. We will continue trading with whoever we want to trade with, regardless of what anyone says. Icovir is not supportive of Hataria's decision when it comes to East Asia. However, Hataria is our ally. So are most of Hataria's enemies, unfortunatly.

The Caliphate would truly hate to act as a buffer state, but if we must, we will. We strongly condemn Hataria's "Sphere of Influence" but we do not want our anti-Hatarian allies to act to quickly and declare war on Hataria.

The Caliphate wishes to hold talks with our allies. Allah Willing, we will hold talks with: the Grand Shogun of Hataria, the 102nd Caliph of Islam (myself), and the leaders of all of the Caliphate's allies who wish to war with Hataria; speaking of the current situation and how to deal with it without war.

Hataria will not interfer with ITD Trade in China, as The Imperial Republic is Friendly to ITD now a days.

We would like to make a formal request for Hataria to declare their intentions towards Harakian shipping. As Haraki and Hataria have never had diplomatic relations, whether negative or not, we see no reason why this declaration would lead to any attacks on Hatarian vessels. That being said, we would like to request a formal response as to whether or not Hataria has any plans to interdict Harakian shipping in any way. If the answer is in the negative, we see no reason why this decision should affect us and will therefore leave it be. If in the positive, well ... we will just say that we hope it is not.
