Just hours after the broadcasts demanding Kuwait's unconditional surrender began, Kuwait came under attack from:
65 F 4 Phantoms, 60 F 5 Tiger IIs, 20 H-6 bombers, 24 Backfire bombers.
The Islamic Persian Empire deployed its one IL 76 early warning plane to watch the area for enemy aircraft.

The attack on Kuwait's tiny infrastructure was crushing. But it would a few days before Persia was finished with Kuwait. The goal of the Persian military was to raze the entire nation so that it became a proverb through out the world.

Meantime, close to 120,000 troops waited in Persia for a chance to pounce the 20,000 man Kuwaiti army.

While the air operations against Kuwait were under way, a warning was sent to Syria demanding their assent to Islamic fundamentalist rule or Syria would suffer the fate of Kuwait.

24 hours after the bombardment began, the 1st Persian Armored Division, consisting of 50 M48 battle tanks entered the Kuwait. They were followed by the 2nd Armored Division which was equipped with Iran's remaining 50 M48's.

2 hours later these two divisions were followed in by the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6 armoured divisions each of which consisted of 50 antiquated M47 battletanks from the cold war era.


In total there were now 6 armoured divisions inside Kuwait attacking everything on the ground that moved as Iranian helicopters moved over head with loud speakers warning people to stay in their homes or die.

10 hours after the tanks bliztkreiged into Kuwait, the waiting 120,000 Persian troops finally crossed border to begin the process of occupation and assimilation.
Kuwait's 20,000 man military didn't stand a chance against the bigger and better equipped Persian military.
