Location: Mobile Command Post on the Kazakh/Pan Asian Bloc border

Commander Leu Yick Shun stood up inside the command post, she looked over the tactical map displaying all of the units in her command, plus estimated locations of Kazakh units over the border. The Pan Asian Bloc's forces included:

5 Divisions of Type 98 MBT's, with 50 units per division.
4 Divisions of WZ-551 APC's, With 50 Units per division.
75000 National Guard Militia Troops, armed with license built AK-74's, Grenades, and HJ-8 Anti-Tank weapons.
1 Division of Type 56 AA guns, with 50 units per division.
2 Divisions of PLZ-45 Self Propelled Artillery guns, with 40 units per division.
2 Squadrons of J-10 Fighters/Ground attack aircraft, with 20 units per squadron.
1 Squadron of WZ-10 Attack Choppers, with 20 units per squadron.
Plus 15000 support personnel.

The commander waited anxiously for the order to attack from The Commune Representatives Committee. She didnt like the feeling of attacking a sovereign country, in which many of her comrades would die, but she then thought of the suffering of the working classes in Kazakhstan, who for years had been terrorized by a brutal dictator, who systematically used torture and genocide on the population. "We cant stand idly by and watch this happen any more!" she thought to herself.

Suddenly the nearby radio crackled into life and started beeping. Leu Yick Shun picked up the receiver and an electronically masked voice said down the line "This is the Commune Representatives Committee, Operation Red Fist Status is Green for Go, repeat Green for Go. Confirmation code is Alpha-Tango-Five-Niner-Bravo-Kilo-Mike-Seven, please concur commander". The commander ripped open the command code book, and verified it with one of her leutenants. "I concur" The commander replied. With that she turned the secure radio off, and then ordered the leutenant to give the order to move out.

The noise of engines starting up was deafening, as artillery shells whistling overhead added to the din. The Pan Asian Bloc war machine started creeping towards the border.

Location: People's Armed Liberation Front camp, somewhere just outside the Kazakhstan capital.

"The Pan Asian Bloc's forces have crossed the border! Thats the signal to begin the uprising! We can finally bring to an end the oppressive Kazakhstan regime!" the Guerrilla leader Nesky Kolstov cried, amid frantic cheering from the men and women who had sought refuge in the camp from the government forces. Suddenly without prompting, the men and women in the camp armed themselves with the wide variety of weaponry acquired by the rebels, and climbed aboard the ramshackle array of cars, trucks, and buses in the camp.

"Today" Kolstov cried, "will be the day that our fellow countryfolk will be freed from this vile regime! Forwards! Never backwards!"

With that the convoy started the several mile journey towards the capital.

Commander Leu Yick Shun Radioed the commander of the 3rd tank division, which had advanced almost unopposed as most of the kazakh army defending the east of the country had already fled westward. She said "what is your current status?".
"We are approaching the Kazakhstan Capital of Aqmola, shall we continue onward?"
"No" Commander Leu Yick Shun replied. "there are Kazakhstani rebel units inbound, hold your position, repeat, hold your position. Our J-10 fighter-bombers are on final approach to the city"
"Affirmative, will hold our position"

Commander Leu Yick Shun looked at the tactical map, seven Pan Asian Bloc aircraft had been shot down, twenty two tanks destroyed, and 249 soldiers lost in the push forwards to the capital.

Location: Just outside the Kazakhstan Capital of Aqmola.

Sergeant Nevekiy of the 1st Kasakhstan Tank Corp had every reason to look worried as he positioned his tank force of 30 T90 tanks just outside the city. The Pan Asian Bloc's forces were closing in at a phenomenal pace, and rumours of a major uprising were rife.

Sergeant Nevekiy's radio in his tank started incessantly beeping next to him, he picked up the receiver.

"There are rebel vehicles closing on your position" the Generals voice said "you are to commence firing on them, leave nothing intact, take no prisoners"

Sure enough, a convoy of cars, buses, and trucks came into view, all painted with the red star symbol of the rebels. The Sergeant looked at them through his binoculars. He could see men and women crowded onto each of them ,they wouldnt stand a chance if he attacked.

"I cant attack our own defenceless countrymen!" he said hesitantly down the radio. "ARE YOU QUESTIONING MY AUTHORITY??" the General barked "I COULD HAVE YOU SENT TO THE DEATH CAMPS FOR THIS!"

The Sergeant slammed down the receiver, the message had been transmitted on the open channel and so his tank crews had heard everything. The Sergeant picked up the receiver and spoke to his tank crews.

"There comes a time in every soldiers life when they have to choose between fighting for whats right, and fighting for their government. I have decided to fight for what is right, you all can make your own choice. If you decide to stay with me, then we will fight alongside the rebels. Attach a red item of clothing or cloth to your communications aerial if you want to fight with me"

With that, every tank crew got out and attached anything to their tanks aerials that was red coloured.

The tank crews stood outside their tanks with their arms in the air as the rebels approached.

"We have decided to join you" Sergeant Nevekiy said to the Guerrilla leader Nesky Kolstov.

The rebels helped the tank crews paint red stars on their tanks, and soon the rebel convoy with tanks rumbled into the capital.

The presidential palace in the centre of Aqmola was in chaos. A general strike had paralyzed much of the city, and running street battles between rebels and government forces still loyal to the president were happening all over the city. Pan Asian Bloc planes bombed and strafed military strongpoints.

"I knew these little bastards would be the end of me" the President exclaimed, referring to the lower classes of Kazakhstan, as he packed his suitcases with money. Downstairs his Generals moved units round the tactical map, most of the units they were pushing round had ceased to exist or had fled.

"The helicopter will be here in 2 minutes Mr President" an aide said to him.

Suddenly the gunfire seemed to grow louder, and with it the unmistakable sound of tanks moving at speed.

"They are right outside the gates!!!" the aide cried. Diving for cover as a hail of bullets smashed through the window and embedded in the wall.

A T90 then rammed down the gates and several hundred rebels stormed through, forcing down the front door of the palace in moments.

"The helicopter has arrived on the roof!" a guard shouted above the noise.

The President ran up the stairs, the guards fired their pistols at the rebels coming up the stairs, but there was too many of them. The President emerged on the roof, and clambered into the waiting helicopter, taking off barely before he was fully in the helicopter.

The Guerrilla leader Nesky Kolstov and his fellow rebels watched from the roof as the former President flew to exile, the country had been liberated.

A news conference was quickly set up, even before the gunfire had died down, and the new temporary President Nesky Kolstov said to the country:

"We have finally liberated ourselves after years of struggle against the brutal regime! The feared dictator has fled the country! Here today we announce a People's Republic! A new age for our nation and the workers of Kazakhstan! We would like to announce also that we are putting forward a vote for joining our brothers and sisters in the Pan Asian Bloc, to be part of the union of nations who struggle for workers rights! To further better ourselves and be strong with the billions of other working class people around the world!"

"Fellow Citizens!" President Nesky Kolstov said over a televised address to the Nation, just 48 hours after the former President fled the country. "I have been in intense discussions with Trade Union leaders, the left wing intellectuals, and worker and student populations as to what they think will be the best course of action for the new government to take, and here are some key desires that they all had in common" There is a pause while President Nesky Kolstov thumbs through his many pages of notes, and then starts to read the points one by one.

* The immediate abolition of the old Army, Police Force, and Justice System, as these were the tools used to terrorise the population.

* Freeing all political prisoners currently being held in prisons around the country.

* The immediate trial of members of the former regime that were involved in human rights abuses in the concentration camps around the nation.

* The seizing of all private property by the working class.

* The outlawing of racism, sexism, ageism, and any other form of discrimination.

* The right to a free vote for all citizens and refugees, from the moment they are able to read and write, until moment of death. Any citizens that are illiterate may appoint a person to vote on their behalf.

* Free education, free healthcare, free monetary and societal aid for all citizens and refugees.

* The right to a fair trial.

* The eventual abolition of money.

"These are all points i agree with wholeheartedly, and are necessary if we are to change our society from the ground up. The overthrow of the old regime is confirmation that our society is ready for this monumental change. I do not lie to you, and say proudly that the road ahead will be long and treacherous, for a cause that doesnt require a long hard struggle isnt worth fighting for. So i close this broadcast comrades, and i say to you just one thing: never lose your working class spirit, because if we stand true to our spirit, the world is ever closer to the day when all people of all nations can see the day when they are truly free!"

Cheers erupt in the many factories, universities, farms, and other industries around the nation.
